Kaida shrugged. "Seeing the country, honing my sword skills..... other than that, nothing much. Why?" she asked, looking confused. She did leave out 1 part though....... Kaida had recently discovered she can bend water to her will and use it to heal people among other things.... She didn't want to tell Inuyasha, though... He probably wouldn't believe her!

"Just wondering." Inuyasha replied. "I've been traveling with Kagome for....fun..." He said, trailing off. 'Cant reveal too much...' He thought.

Kaida nodded, knowing that Kagome was lucky to be travelling with Inuyasha....

Inuyasha thought for a moment. Silence between all three, not a good sign and it felt awkward. "So." He said. "Since we're all traveling. Why not travel together...?" He asked, not caring for Kagome's views on the idea.

Kaida blinked, startled by Inuyasha's invitation. "S-Sure! That is, if it's OK with you Kagome," she said, looking at Kagome.

Kagome grinned. "Sure, why not?" she said, looking from Kaida to Inuyasha.

ooc: I have to go... Dinner's almost done. If I'm not back later, then I'll be on tomorrow!!

Inuyasha looked back at Kagome, giving that 'I'm in charge' stare at her. To him, he was in charge so he could invite anyone he wanted to travel with him, without anyone's approval. "Well then. Since we all agree, we should start...uhh...Traveling..." Inuyasha said, pointing to the south. He actually had no idea what he was traveling too. Kagome had the ability to sense jewel shards.

Kaida had to stifle a laugh when Inuyasha said "traveling" like he had no idea where they were going.

Kagome sighed, and she shook her head, laughing a little.

Once Inuyasha heard the two laugh at what he said, he felt a little stupid. "No laughing at me. Rule number one." He quickly said, angry.

Kaida blinked. "I wasn't laughing," she said, blinking.

((Technically, Kaida DIDN'T laugh. She restrained herself from laughing. O3O))

Kagome blinked. "Who died and made you the boss?" she said, looking ticked off.

Inuyasha looked at Kagome. "Well someone's got to lead the way." He said with a smart tone, glaring at her. He looked back over to Kaida but said nothing.

Kaida and Kagome exchanged glances, but neither one of them said anything. Kaida shrugged, as if admitting defeat. Kagome had to stifle a laugh at her enthusiam.

Kaida finally spoke after a little bit. "Well, since I have no clue where you two are going, lead the way Inuyasha," she said, smiling slightly.

Inuyasha nodded his head and turned to Kagome. "Do you have a lead to..." He stopped, reminding himself that Kaida was in ear shot. "...You know..." He added with a whisper, leaning in closer to her. Inuyasha could get them there, but he first needed a sense of direction, which Kagome was.

Kagome nodded. "I sense one north from here," she whispered back.

Kaida blinked, but said nothing, deciding to stay out of it.

Inuyasha looked north, sniffing the air. To go north, they had to travel through the forest, with out a path. They'd have to rely on Kagome's sense's to make sure they're going the right direction. "Okay then." Inuyasha said. "Then lets go. We're wasting daylight." He added as he started walking.

Kaida and Kagome nodded, and Kagome went after Inuyasha, followed by Kaida. Kaida was busy taking in the sights and smells of the forest, and Kagome was trying to sense the Shikon Jewel shard. It seemed to her as if there was more than one....

Inuyasha tried to lead the way, but was useless for only Kagome knew were to go. He hated walking behind people, it made him feel inferior. Yet hit bit his tongue and said nothing, quietly following. He kept his eye on Kaida, just in case. Years of being separated could change a person. How did he know that she was working with Naraku? Trusting someone in these days was a hard thing to do. Not even an old friend could break his suspicions.

Kaida looked back at Inuyasha a little worried about him. She had heard about Naraku, and she was frightened that he might hurt her new friends. But she bit her tounge, and caught up with Kagome.

Kagome grinned when she saw the way that Kaida looked at Inuyasha, kind of a lonely, pitiful look that just screamed, "LOVE MEEEE!!!!" "You like Inuyasha, don't you Kaida?" she asked, grinning even more.

Kaida blushed darkly. "Wh-What?? N-No way!!!" she stammered, looking embarrassed and nervous.
