Dresdus led Frost and Blade through the forest as they searched for Snow. after a few hours, they found her in an abandoned den, curled up next to a lone black pup. Dresdus ran over and nugged Snow. "Snow, are you ok?" He then looked over at the other pup. "Who are you?"

Snow open her eyes as smiled as she saw her father. "Hi dady." She closed her eyes and fell back asleep.

Frost walked over to where Snow was and picked her up back the scruff of her neck and looked at the other pup. His coloring looked slightly familiar to her.

"I am Zoko and please put her back down she is resting. The weather is to bad to head back to your den." The pup looked at frost as he moved to his feet and stared at her. "Hello little sister it has been a long time since I have seen you. That is what my mother use to call you. Before our packs split. Do you two not remember me? I am son of Zelous pack leader of the fang pack. I know we haven't seen each other in a while but I had hopped you would have better memory of me. Please put my mate back down I am taking care of her. She is safe now with me."

Blade growled at Zoko. "She is not your mate, she is my sister!" Dresdus leaned down at Zoko. "Fang pack is a myth. Now get away from my daughter. She needs to be with her pack."

Zoko steeped up to Dresdus as he let out a growl. His eyes flashed red as he glared at Dresdus. "The only myth is you fool. You have brought my little sister down to this place. She would have been a great leader in our pack if you hadn't took her as your mate. You can't eve protect your own pups."

Frost put Snow down at her feet as she stared at Zoko. "How did you make it here Zoko? The pack is thousands of miles away. We had got news that they fang pack had all died thanks to humans. Though I never believed it my brother was to much of a pain for that to happen."

"You will not insult my new family!" Blade yelled. He extended his claws and scratched Zoko across the muzzle. Dresdus growled at Zoko.

Zoko's eye flashed to Blade. In one quick movement he slashed blade going down his right eye. Zoko moved closer to them as he let out a growl. He stopped at Frost moved between them. He stepped back and took a seat as frost keep her stance between them and lessoned to her.


Frost let out a growl as she stud between the three. She glared at Blade and Dresdus then turned and did the same to Zoko. She turned back to her mate and son. "That is enough! We shall all act like adults here. Zoko has saved Snow and that is something we can all be happy of. He is right we can't go back to our den because of the weather. No you two go to the other side of the den and take your places for the night." She turned and looked at Zoko. "You stay on this side of the den for the night I and Snow with stay in the middle. As for your claim for Snow Zoko. That is Snow decision to make not ours. When she is ready she can chose as will blade."

Dresdus cleaned Blades wound. "Frost, you can't be serious! Snow is our pup, not his! And look at what he did to Blade, and he is just a kitten!"
Blade made a hiss at Zoko. "I may not be a wolf, but I know who my family is. I'm staying with Dresdus and Frost. Snow, I hope you make the same decison."

Frost turned and glared at her mate. "That is ENOUGH! Till morning comes we will all stay here and get alone! If anyone in this den makes one move towards the other you will deal with me do I make my self clear?" After a while she laid down with snow between her paws as she watched the snow fall outside the den.

Zoko ignored the others as he laid down on his side of the den keeping his eyes on frost and snow. He had alway heard that Frost was the wisest of the blood pack and one of the deadlyist. After seening her temper for just a moment he was sure she was deadly. Beneath that clam mask she wore she was a force to reckon with just like her mate. As for th lion he could care less no lion belonged with a pack of wolfs it was unheard of. Zoko shifted his eyes to the snow as he laid there keeping his ture feelings quite waiting for morning. He may be a pup he thought but he was stronger and faster than the other pups he had seen.

Dresdus laid on the other side of the den. Blade curled up next to him. Dresdus kept his eyes on Zoko and Snow, as did Blade.

Snow open her eyes as she looked about the place. She saw her brother and father on one side of the den and Zoko on the other. She smiled as she saw Zoko looked at her. "Thank you." She said to him as she stared at him happy to be back with her mother safe and warm between her mothers paws.

Zoko smiled as he gave Snow a slight nod. "Your welcome anytime. Just remember lions don't make great playmates. They can be a little rougher than our kind are when we play." He smiled slightly as he stared at her happy to see she was awake and ok. He tried not to laugh as he heard frost. He loved her she was how his mother had been.
"If the two of you don't shut up I"ll shut you both up! It is time to sleep." Frost said half asleep and half awake she moved her head over to the other side of Snows. "Make one move lover boy and I'll send you to join the others."

Blade waited until the others were asleep, then he snuck over to Snow, gently nudgeing her awake. "Snow, are you ok? I'm sorry I hurt you. It was an accident. I would never do anything to hurt you. Please don't leave. I've already lost one sister, I don't want to lose another" Blade began to cry.

Blade felt relieved. He curled up next to Snow and fell asleep. The next morning, Dresdus awoke and saw Blade and Snow with Frost. This brought a smile to his face.

Frost looked down to see Snow and Blade both a sleep. She smiled as she looked over at her mate and gave him a wink as she moved to her feet. She looked to where Zoko was to be but found he gone. She looked back to Dresdus trying to understand what had happen. She haden't heared anything the whole night from Zoko. She looked to the entrance and saw that it was still snowing to hard for them to leave. She wandererd where the other pup had went. Surly he didn't go outside.

Zoko entered the den again as he drug his kill in. He was proud of himself he had got a deer earily this morning. The weather was so bad he almost walked straight into it. He was happy that he found the den again and was safly back in it. Zoko took enough of the deer for him and left the rest for the others. He kept to his side of the den not lookin at Dresdus or Blade.

Dresdus let Blade and Snow have their fill, then he had his. Dresdus looked at Frost. "Your not serously going to leave with this little nutbag are you? He says he's your mate but he's barely older than Snow."

Frost rolled her eyes as she walked over to Dresdus. She then licked his ears. "Do you not clean out those things? He wants Snow not me. He is the son of one of my old friends...I never knew she was the alpha female of the Fang pack I certainly didn't know her mate was the alpha.Hump really I thought I was yours. I thought you would put a fight even if it was me he wanted."

"Well I'm sorry, but he cannot have Snow. I forebid it. She is too young, and I do not trust him. I see cruel intentions in his eyes."
Blade began playfully smacking Snow. "Wanna play?"

Zoko stud up as he let out a growl as he growled at Blade. "That is enough you over stuffed cat! You are to big to play like that. Haven't you learned that by now?" Zoko looked over at Frost as his mouth fell open from her words. "W-What?"

Snow closed her eyes as pain ran through her body again. She open her eyes and looked at Zoko then to Blade. "No...it is ok he is just wanting to play....maybe a little rough..."

Frost looked at Blade. "He has a point blade does get a little happy when he plays. and Zoko want be going any where and neither will Snow. Zoko is to young to be on his own."

"I will not have him around my family" Dresdus said in a low tone. He walked over to Zoko. "Listen you little bastard, as soon as this storm is over, I want you gone. And don't you ever insult Blade. He may be a mountain lion, be he is more wolf than you'll ever be."

Zoko stud up tall as he glared Dresdus right in the eyes. "The only bastard here is you. You are right that cat is more than a wolf than you'll every be." Turned as he went to the other end of his side away from the others.

Frost let out a growl as she moved between Zoko and Dresdus she pushed her mate back as she stud in front of Zoko. "Let it go now DRESDUS! Come on lets go lay down with our pups." Frost walked off after she felt Zoko would be safe from Dresdus anger and laid down on the other side of the den as Snow joined her.

Blade wrapped his paws around Snow and playfuly started to nip her ears. Dresdus was irate. "I am the alpha male of this pack, and you let that little punk speak to me like that?"

Frost ignored him as she lad there motionless. She closed her eyes a a small tear ran from her muzzle. She moved to her feet as she walked out of the den. She stopped ant the entrance as tears ran down her muzzle. "Thats the problem you are being just the alpha not a father or friend. No wander Fang cried and ran when he did. All you do is yell now and look for a fight. I am threw....if this is how it is....you don't love anyone or anything any more." She closed her eyes as she walked out of the den. Frost made her way deep into the woods not caring were she went as long as it wasn't back in there. The snow would make sure none of them could follower her.

Snow looked from blade as she looked at her father and shook her head as tears ran from her eyes. She bolted out of the den with her three good legs as she held her other up not wanting to put any weight on it yet. She found her mother after a while and stayed close to her. She was happy to see Zoko and even happier to follow him to shelter.

Zoko stud up as he watched Frost leave then Snow follow her. He looked over to Dresdus, "As I said your no wolf your not even a leader! Looks like I win this battle Dresdus my mother will be happy to see Frost again and I know my sister will enjoy having a friend. Just remember you pushed them away. You should know that hatred is the first thing to push the ones you love away from you." Zoko left them in the den as the snow thicken making escaping the den almost impossible leaving Dresdus and Blade alone in the den. Zoko found Snow and Frost and lead them in the snow up the mountains and over into his packs land. He knew his parents would be happy to see him safe and with old friends.

Dredus had enough. He looked to Blade. "Blade, I want you to look after Frost and Snow. They are your family now." Dresdus ran after his pack, with Blade following close behind. He finaly found them in another den. "Zoko! You can say what ever you want about me, but don't you ever mention my son! I loved him more than anything, and you had no right to say what you said! I am Dresdus!" Dresdus ran over, grabbed Zoko by the neck, and threw him against a wall.
