Kikuyo and Namihiko broke apart when they heard a high-pitched scream. It belonged to Su.
"Tai!!! Oh my God!" Tai was lying on the ground covered in... blood?! A broken glass was lying next to him. It looked as if someone had thrown the glass at him. The culprit was a big guy not too far away who was obviously drunk.
"Tai!"

Aya was the first to respond and ran too Tai's side, there were shards of glass in his face. The remanents of the glass on the floor next to him. Aya whipped round, "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, PUNK?"

Kikuyo ran over as well, and started clearing the glass away. "Tai, relax, you're gonna be OK..."
Namihiko whipped out his mobile and dialled an ambulance.

Namihiko told Aya to calm down, she wasn't going to - not till this prick needed an ambulance. The good thing was that the guy made the first punch. He started the fight that Aya continued with and planned to finish. She used her father's jutsu, "ShadowClone Jutsu!" Seven clones popped out beside her and they all began to beat the crap out of the guy, she landed a good few punches until the guy caught the real her and stabbed a Kunai into her stomach.
Aya remembered Itaru finishing the fight, holding the guy until the jounin interfered, she remembered Itaru running over to her and holding her saying it was gonna be okay, that the paramedics were on the way. That's the last thing she remembered before she blacked out...

"Ohmygod! Aya!!!" Kikuyo joined Itaru beside her friend. What had the idiot been thinking, bringing kunai to a party?! The paramedics arrived and took both Aya and Tai into the ambulance. They let Kikuyo on with them, but said there was no room for others.
"What do you mean, there's plenty of room!" burst out Itaru.
"She's my cousin!" protested Namihiko.
Su was sobbing into her big brother's shoulder.

Aya's eyes opened a crack and the light burned into them. She opened them slowly again and gazed up at the white ceilings and recognised she was in the Hospital. "Why am I here?" She murmered and grimanced as she moved, there was a long stabbing pain in her abdomen.

*I guess Sakura would be in charge of the hospital?*

"Aya! You're awake!" Kikuyo dropped the sketchbook she'd been holdign and gave Aya an awkward hug, avoiding the area where she'd been hurt. She then began talking very fast. "Everyone was so worried! Itaru and Namihiko were here too, but they went out to get some food. Su's over in another ward with Tai, Head Nurse Haruno says that you both should be fien so long as you don't do serious training or missions for a while until you fully recover..."

Aya grunted as she tried to sit up, "Ow! What actually happened? Why's Tai in?"

"Remember? Some guy got drunk at the party and hurt Tai. Then you went to teach him a lesson and he stabbed you!" Kikuyo went paler than usual. "Ohmygod you've got amnesia haven't you?! DO YOU REMEMBER WHO I AM?"

"Kikyou...calm down. I don't have amnesia, you're just being extra paraniod." She forced herself to sit up, "By the way how long have I been in here?"

"Well the party was two days ago," said Kikuyo. "Are you sure you're OK? How many fingers am I holding up? What's seven times seven?!"
She held up three fingers in front of Aya's face.

"It's seven times seven equals forty nine. You're holding up three fingers! I've been here sseevveenn days?? How's Tai?" Aya asked just as Namihiko and Itaru walked into the room.

"Two days, Aya, TWO!"
"Calm down, Kikuyo," said Itaru. He and Namihiko sat down on either side of Kikuyo. "How are you feeling?"

"I've gotta go check on Tai," said Kikuyo. "I'll come see you later, I just don't think it's best to have him and Su alone in there."

"I know, it's been two Kikyou, I'm just freaking you out. Yeah, don't leave those alone...there's a bed in that room right?" Aya amiled at Kikyou and then turned her form towards Itaru and Namihiko. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little sore in bits."
"Good, we were seriously worried." Itaru smiled. Aya smiled at Namihiko, "You, being serious? Oh My God, that sounds amazing!"

Kikuyo went in to see Tai, and found (much to her relief) that they were just talking. Tai had a bandage on, but apart from that he seemed fine.
"How you doing?"
"Fine. Hmph, this hospital is so troublesome."
Kikuyo smiled. Typical of him to say that.
On a more serious note he added, "Su said that Aya got hurt. Is she OK?"
"She's on the mend fine," said Kikuyo.

"Did they tell you how long I'm in here for?" Aya asked Itaru who bent over to kiss her lightly on the lips. Itaru thought for a moment, "Yeah, Haruno said three days in here and no Major training or missions for a while til you're at top form." Namahiko nodded at her.

"Take me through to see Aya," said Tai. "It's my fault she got hurt, I -"
"It's not your fault!" said Su. "It's the fault of the guy who stabbed both of you."
"I need to see her."
Kikuyo sighed. "Fine, I'll take you through. But it's not your fault, don't ever think that."

Aya smiled as Tai was wheeled into the room. "Hheeyy Bud! How are you doing?"

Kikuyo and Su followed him in, and saw that Tai did not smile back.
"Hey, Aya, I'm sorry you got hurt..." he said softly.

"It's not your fault, it's that gigantic ignoranus at the party...or so Kikyou tells me." She smiled up at Kikyou at Tai.

Tai didn't say anything but his expression didn't change.
Kikuyo felt tears in her eyes. "Stop it!!! You've both already had me worrying have to death, don't start blaming yourself!"

"Well, I'll tell you something. I really fancy some ramen...or an oreo...and that Ginger juice Cousin Kiatsu brought over from the land of Tea...Where is my dad? Or my mom? Did they not worry? OH, are THEY getting me my Ramen and Oreos and Ginger Soda?" Aya aasked getting hopefula nd much like her father.

"Your mum and dad are sleeping," said Itaru. "They've been here watching over you for most of the time and haven't slept in ages."
"I'll go get ramen and oreos for us all," said Su. She kissed Tai lightly on the lips before going out the door.

"Woo, go Su!" Aya smiled, looking at Kikyou sha sked, "What damage is there, dude?"

"On you or Tai? Cos I dunno exactly, you'll have to ask a nurse," said Kikuyo. "I don't understand any of that medical stuff."
