"You can pick.." he said with a smile, he would be happy either way because he would be with her. he was about done eating the pancakes, and he was hungrier than he thought. The food was soon gone, and he knew that she would be out of money soon if they keep eating like that. He would think of something to do to get them some money, but he couldn't let her know about it.

Her face broke into a huge grin "The river it is." she had always loved being near to the water. Finishing off her breakfast she waved the waitress over and paid for the meal. Grabbing his arm she pulled Kory out the door and headed for the bank of the water.It was the prefect day to hang around any body of water, it was sunny but not too hot and there was a nice breeze. Dropping her self down close tot he bank Robin quickly dis carded her shoes and socks before she stuck her feet into the cool water. Giggling like a child she threw herself back so that she could stare up at the clouds. "Days like this make me miss the island."

"What island?" He asked as he slowly did the same as her, and laid down beside her on the bank, with his feet in the water. The sun was shining down upon them, and he looked over at her. He was softly smiling at her, still glad to be with her. She was the only girl that he has hung out with this much, let alone one of the nicest ones that he has ever met as well.

If she closed her eyes she could bring up the smell of the slat water in the air. there was very little clean ocean water left in the world so it was a smell she associated with home. " Ryley lives on an island." was all she said. the sun danced across her face and brought a soft smile out. it wasn't one of her big giddy one but one of contentment. if she had been a normal girl she would probably be skipping school right now to go play on the beach. Thinking about it that was what she was doing. Sure this wasn't a beach, and she had never been to school- she had been home schooled by her mother then by one of the waitress at the bar- but she was here by the water with a friend. " you know you could almost forget how different we are from other people." It was a half truth, it would be dangerous to get to comfortable.

"I wouldn't say that.. but i bet you could.." he said with a small smile as he looked over at her. There was way too much different with him for him to feel half normal. With a small sigh, he sat up, and grabbed his shoes. "wana walk?" He asked still looking down at her, and her cute face that just glistened in the sunlight.

Robin propped her self up on her arms, feet still in the water. A walk would be nice after eating something thick like french toast. Pulling her feet out of the river as slow as she could she put her shoes back on. At time she wished she owned something other then her pair of combat boots, but they were practical for her life. " Sure, we can see the rest of the town.' she stood up and stretched her arms over her head.

He smiled, and stept out of the water as well. He didn;t care if he had his shoes on of not, because his feet are as hard as steel. He sighed as thay started walking back up toward the road. "Have you ever wondered where we would be if we were normal?" He asked, not meaning it to be a rather odd question. Be he was just cerious, would they have ever met if they were normal?

He had read her mind. those being the thoughts that had plagued her not only 5 minutes ago.
"I guess I would be in school right now, or skipping it. I wouldn't have met Ryley, and I might not have met you. Life would be pretty boring I'm guessing." Pulling him over to the window of one of the shops she stared at the different things in side. it was possible ingrained into their genes for girl to love shopping no matter who they were.

Being pulled he just smiled, he was just happy that she had ran into him and that they have met. He was happy to be shopping with her, even though they still needed more money. He spotted an atm down the road and his thoughts happened right then and there. He would hack the system and get money, but he would do that right before they left.

" What about you? What would you be doing now?" Her mind was half focused on the conversation, mostly she was starring at the items of cloths in the window. Not even realizing that she was dragging him everywhere she moved toward the door.It wouldn't hurt to just try something on. Besides it made her feel normal.

"not sure really//" he saida s he just followed her. He didn't mind being dragged areound, he was starting to kinda like it, so he just smiled. He lost his thought about the money and focused more on just her again

Letting go of his hand she picked up a baby blue summer dress. It was cute and she really wanted to see what it would look like on her. She could always work at the bar once they got to the island, it was how she normally earned money. Looking up to meet Kory's eyes she smiled. " I'm going to go try this on so stand near the door so you can tell me what you think." Walking into the small stall she quickly changed and studied herself. The rest ended about three inches above her knee and clung to her upper body flaring at the waist. The straps where tiny and white that connected to the neck line. opening the door she did a little spin for him. "So what do you think."

"Look cute .." he said returning a smile as well, he was liking her more and more so, he didn't have to make up a corny lie. In face she really did look cute in the dress. He didn't realize his face was turning red again at looking at her. Now wishing he had gotten the money and all.

Shutting the door once again Robin changed back into her normal outfit. it was a really cute dress and she would have to remember to get one in that style when they made it to Ryley's. Walking out of the dressing room she figured she had dragged him along to too many girl things. "so what do you want to do now?" All the talk about the island and home made her want to hit up a grocery store then start heading south. But she had mentioned stay for a few days and she shouldn't just go changing the plans on him now.

"As i had said before.. as long as I am with you i am happy and i don't care what we do.." he stated with a soft smile at her, and he was just speaking the truth. It didn't bother him by being drug to girly things, he was one of the guys that it didn't matter and thought more guys should just do what their girl wants even if its doing something girlie.

Figuring it was o.k. to ask since they really did need to have him get control she looked up at him. "Since we are in a town near a body of water I was...well do you want to head out?" it was o.k. with her if they stayed, it was always nice to take a break but she just didn't know how long that break would last. the sooner they got to the island the safer they would be. " it'll take about two month to get there but if we caught a ride on a boat we might make it there in less."

"That sounds good.." he said thinking of how he could get the money with out her yelling at him for theft. "We need money..right?" He asked looking at her as he spoke softly. "What if i could get us some, but it might not be too legal..?" he thought to ask instead of just doing. He wasn't sure how she would react, but he didn't want her mad at him for thinking this way.

Gaining money illegally wasn't something she was too against it just depended on how illegal the act was. She had been forced to pick pocket to get by and once or twice ,though she would deny it, had even dragged some guy had was being a jerk to someone off into tan alley and beat him till he handed over money. So illegal wasn't something she cared about to much.
"How illegal are we talking?"

"ATM.." he said looking her straight in the eyes. "I mean I might not ever be back here so if they get my face, its ok.. since we would be leaving now and all.." he stated as the thought was still running in his head wither or not to actually do it.

It was kind of like pick pocketing a whole lot of people at once. And he did have a point they would probably never be back here. "o.k. but don't take too much. They might just put you on a country wide watch and we can't have that," she reached up and lightly tugged a strand of silver hair. " you don't exactly blend in." she teased. Looking over at the men preparing their boat to leave the dock, she got an idea. " listen you go get the money and I'll get us the ride." she gave him a light wave and headed over to the sailors.

"Ok, and i wont get too much.." he said as she walked away. He got the the atm, and got 500 out, and he hurried back to the store, and he bought the dress that she had on. It looked like he just ran there to get the amount needed so it didn't look too obvious. He got it wrapped, and he carried in under his arm as he walked over to where she was. Standing waiting for he, he just smiled looking at her.

Lightly tugging on the sleeve of one crewman's shirt Robin lightly pouted her lips and made her eyes look wide and innocent. " excuse me sir." She twirled the end of one of her braids in between her fingers. " Me and my brother could really need to get south of here, and well...I was hoping that your boat would be able to give us a ride." She kept her hand resting on his arm and threw the best flirty smile in his direction. In three years she had learned that men were suckers for a pretty face and a little attention. When the sailor gave a shaky nod as threw her arms around him. " oh thank you. let me just go tell my brother." turning she looked at Kory and mocked gagged then giggled. Grabbing a hold of his hand she smiled. "you boys are too easy...oh and while we are on the boat you are my brother got it." The story had to stay straight.

"I know sis.." he said with a small chuckle and a soft smile to her. He followed as she pulled him onto the boat. "you think dad will be surprised when he sees us?" He asking meaning the guy that they were going to see. He still kept the wrapped box by his side, not wanting her to have it right away, and they still have over 450 left so he had that stashed in his wallet.

"I'm sure he will. We weren't expected back for another couple of months now." It was true he would be surprise, just not by them showing up. The surprise would come from Robin showing up with another person, a guy none the less. Smiling over at the the sailor who let them one she mouthed 'thank you.' She was going to have to be nice to that guy till they got further down south. Sometimes she liked just using force better.

"well thats good at least right?" He said with another chuckle. He lent over to her and whispered in her her. "I got you something, but since i am your brother you don't get it until we get away from they guys.." he aid softly, and backed away. a big smile now over his face. She might have gottem them a ride, but she messed up and now would have to wait till she got it, and that made his smile, and kinda happy that she now has to deal with suspense.
