Green eyes slowly opened gazing at the shirt her hand was clinging to. She shoot up and stared wide eyed at Kory's back. ' why...why am I in the same bed as...' last nights dream slowly came back to her. Robin tired, and failed, to crawl out of bed with out making any noise. she only succeeded in getting tangled in the sheets and falling on the floor. Her face was red from embarrassment.

Hearing a thud, Kory jumped up, and looked down seeing her down there. "you ok?" He asked with a puzzled grin. He chuckled inside knowing that, that was the reaction he was waiting for. "And why are you in my covers? Not like there would be a problem or anything..." he said as he stood up and started helping her to her feet, and get untangled.

Robin kept her face down staring at the floor tying to will her embarrassment away. It wasn't working." i...um...I had a bad dream." she felt like a stupid little kid. But she did feel better knowing that someone else was there instead of being alone. Normally she wouldn't have ever been able to get any sleep after that dream.

"well I am glad I am here for you.." he said with a small smile after he got her free. He placed the blankets down on the cot and turned back to her. "would rather you feel safe, than not get any sleep at all.." he added as he stretched a bit.

(well thats good, glad to hear it)

Robin just really wanted to go back to her bouncy happy self, but for some reason the situation felt more serious. "Thank you and I'm sorry about waking you." She gave him a soft smile. She still felt embarrassed and figured she needed to find a reason for her to leave the room. She did need to find out how far they had traveled.

"its ok.." He said as he sat down itching his head. He knew it wasn't like her to be like she was last night, but he was glad to be there for her. He didn't know what she really thought of him, and he didn't want her pushed away. So he figured the best thing to do, is back off for a while and see how things go from there.

Nodding she made her way to the door. She wasn't running she was simply trying to find out where they were. That was what she kept telling her self over and over in her mind. " I'm going to see how far we are." She was okay with traveling with him and was even comfortable have some kind of feeling for him. What she wasn't ready for was how she didn't even stop to think before going to him after her dream. that kind of reaction wasn't how she normally handle things. Stopping one of the sailor she found that the boat was faster then she thought. At the rate they were going they would hit the coast in a week. Turning around she figured she would change out of the cloths she had slept in. She silently opened the door.

There he still sat mumbling to him self his thoughts. "stay calm, back off.. you might like her, and you have told her, but you don't want her to be pushed.." He was soft, and didn't even think twice about her possibly hearing him. It was the truth anyway, so there was still nothing to hide. He seen her in the door way now, and he just smiled. "So how far are we?" He asked loud enough for her to hear him this time.

She stood in the door way staring at him. He was, talking to himself something about staying calm and liking her. It was so soft she could hardly hear but she just stood there staring at him. She was aware that he ha asked her something but she was to busy sorting out her thoughts. Walking over to him she wrapped both of her arms around him in a tight hug. She wasn't really sure why but she had felt the need to hug "We should be there in a week."

Kory was in slight shock, but wrapped his arms around her as well. He knew she was the one being jumpy for last night, but then she just hugged him. His confusion was the main thing in his thoughts now, but he managed to say. "Well is that a good this?" He didn't know if that was his answer or just again another thought.

Robin was the first to pull away. She kept her face averted from him as she went through her suit case. " It's a very good thing.We are ahead of schedule." Grabbing a knee length back pleated skirt and a tank top that matched her eyes she turned to face him."um...i'd like to change."

"Sorry.." He said as he got up and walked outside onto the main deck. The wind was blowing, and he took a seat at the front of the boat. The wind blew through his silver hair, making it kinda shine and shimmer like real metal. He still wasn't planning on doing anything like he had done before to her, and just hoped things would still work out. Even if she did still hug him and surprise each other.

Robin dressed quickly and opted for pulling her hair up into a loss ponytail for the day. Sitting down on the bed she gave her self time to go over the dream last night. As usual it had started out with her and her little sister hiding from hunters But when it got to the part of her losses control over her powers, it wasn't her sister's flesh that she had melted off but Kory's. That was most likely the reason for her going to his cot. Nodding to her self as if she just figured everything out fell back to rest her head on her pillow and puled out a book. She figured she would kill sometime.

Kory sat there, just staring out into the water and he lost track out time. He didn't really care, and he was curious about Robin, but he refrained from going. He told himself to back off for a while and that's what he was trying to do. He looked down at his lap, thinking about everything from his past, to where he was now.

Closing the book Robin glimpsed up at the clock on the opposite.It was already past noon. She had really let her self get lost int the book and the sad part was she really couldn't tell you anything that she had read. The good news was she felt like her old self again. Bouncing out the door she set out on a mission to find Kory.

Kory was comfortably hanging over the edge, and just laying there. It was odd yes, but he really had no other means of entertainment. The water was slightly slashing his face, and it was rather refreshing.

Spotting her prey Robin stayed as quiet as she could.Jumping at Kory she threw her arms around his neck and laughed. "Now that I have caught a Kory what should I do with him?" It felt really good to be carefree again.She had a feeling that they wouldn't get to stay like this for very long. Kory wasn't someone the government was just going to let go and she had already swore to stick it out with him.

He chuckled at this and he looked at her. "Oh the torment.." he said with a big smile. "Oh please don't hurt me.." he said faking a plee, but you could tell it was fake. He hope she would stay this way, he liked it, but every time he showed his affection toward her, she was different toward him.

Still clinging to his neck she got a thoughtful look on her face. Oh what to do to him? "I...Could make you swim to the island...but then I would be alone so that would get boring." She thought harder.' I know I'll make you promise me something o.k.?" pulling her self up so that she could look him in the face she stayed smiling at him. "No matter, even if a bunch of hunter guys come after you, you can't leave me alone. now Promise that or I won't let you go and you'll have to carry me around all day." Though it was a serious question she still wore her childish face while asking.

"I promise you.." he said looking at her. He was honest to her. He would never leave her no matter what. "I will stay by you no matter what.." he said again looking into her eyes, he could tell she was being serious about it though.

Releasing the hold she had on his neck she let her self drop back down to the ground. He was far to tall, "And I won't leave you. now that we have that settled I haven't eaten since yesterday. Come raid the kitchen with me?" she held out her hand to him glade that they had made at least one promise to each other. Now no matter what happened in life they wouldn't be alone.

"Sounds good" He said as he grabbed her hand and followed her back inside the boat. He was happy they were never leaving each other, that's kinda what he wanted but at the same time not in that way, but he wasn't going to complain about it at all.

Pulling out random ingredients from the cabinets robin looked over her shoulder at the taller boy. "So, do you like Beef Noddle bowls?" It had been Ryley's favorite and as payment for letting her live with him he had made her cook it so much she could do it in her sleep. Turning back around she filled the pot with water to boil the noodles. She hadn't seen anyone on deck since this morning so she figured it would be o.k. to use their food. She would even make some for anyone else who wondered in.

"Sounds good to me.." he said as his stomach softly grumbled. He chuckled and walked over beside her. "Anything I can do to help?" He asked looking at everything she had out already. 'just being helpful, whats wrong with that...' he said to himself but keeping it in this time

Lightly smacking the top of his head with one of the wooden spoons she pushed him toward the small wooden table. "Nope this is one of the things I really good at making so just sit there and prepare your taste buds." Throwing him another one of her huge grins she went back to the stove. Reheating some already cooked beef she chopped in up into cubes. forty-five mitues later she placed a steaming bowl in front of Kory. " eat."
