Nothing happened. Robin felt relief wash through her but at the same to a feeling of being vulnerable. She had always relied on her powers to defend her self, not that she was expecting to have to fight Kory but it was still the same. Up until now there was never anything she couldn't melt. Running her hand along his arm she looked up into his eyes. " So in this form I can't hurt you?"

"I can still get hurt.." He said looking down. "By others no, but feelings take over sometimes, and as I see it..you would be the only one to hurt me, and i know you wouldn't" he said softer as he looked up at her. The promised to stay by each others side, no matter what, but her trying to split would be the only knife that could pierce his metal right into his heart.

Robin stared into his eyes as he spoke. She wrapped her arms around his neck and held him tight. There was something about the moment that just seemed really sad, like he needed a hug. And to be truthful she needed one also." I promise." she wasn't sure what she was promising, not to leave, not to hurt him. Maybe it was both.

He wrapped his arms around her as she did to him. He smiled and glad someone in this strange world cared. "thanks for caring..." He said softly to her, while still holding her tight. He didn't want her to run away thinking she would harm him, he just wanted to be happy with someone that cared, no matter what.

She relaxed when he wrapped his arms around her. it had been a long time she someone held her and she felt that it was the same way for him. " I hurt you...no killed you in that dream lkast night." she finally confessed to him.

"As i have told you, you can only hurt me by leaving me, and i know you wont..." he said softly to her. He liked the face someone cared, and as long as he was with her he was happy. "I will always be here for ya.." he added softly to her

Robin pulled away to smile up at him. She wasn't use to this much emotions stuff in one day. She was use to being alone so she really only had to deal with bad memories and what ever bubbly feeling she woke up with. This feeling wasn't a bad feeling per say but it was confusing to her. "what about when your skin looks like flesh...If I get to emotional I heat up. I could melt off your flesh and not be able to control it."

"I can shange fast, and besides it would heal up too.." he said wanting to be with her, and to have her not be afraid to be around him, or hurt her.

"I'll trust you on that." She pulled away to stare up at his face. There was something that felt fuzzy in her stomach. She pulled away to sit down on his bed. The boat was awfully quiet for the afternoon and it was starting to make her nervous. " Um Kory have you sen any of the sailors today?"

"No.. not really.." he said as he looked at her, and turned back to normal. He sat beside her and looked at her again. "You think something is up?" He asked with a puzzled look on his face

She looked down at her lap and focused her thoughts, most of them where on Kory. " yeah, I do." It normally wasn't this quiet on a boat. No one even bothered them during lunch. " maybe some of your friends stopped by?" she said indicating to the hunter he had been running from when they met.

"i dont know.." he said looking over at the door. " Should we go look?" he asked as he looked back at her. He would only go if she went or if she stayed, he would not alow her to go out on her own to look.

She thought about it for a moment then moved to stand up. "Well we might as well give it a look." She stretched her arms over her head and smiled. "We might have to fight." She liked the idea of getting back to normal. As odd as it sound fighting hunters was normal to her.

He smiled. "Just do what you do, and be safe too... " he said looking at her now standing beside her as well. "Jets go.." he added as he started slowly walking out on the room. Not even getting both feet out, he was shot by a guy what used green bullets, and he went flying back into the room. Landing on his back he knocked his head hard, and was almost out cold, but he managed to get up. Blood was running down his neck. "Kill the bastards..." he said hatefully

Robin gave her self a second to be shocked before her temperature raised, steam rose from ever part of her exposed flesh. Moving so that her back was against the wall to the right of the door.Her small hand reached out and wrapped around the neck of the shooter. She took a sick joy in listening to his cut off scream. She could almost picture the dried out twisted neck of the man who had shot Kory. Watching him drop she braced herself for the others."This is fun isn't? A real bonding experience."

"Yea but i want sometime that we can bond, and it don't hirt.." he said popping his neck, healing himself and charging out the door. His hands were chaped like swords, and the green bullets knocking him back a few times after each shot. The more and more he was hit, the more it was hurting, and it was taking longer to heal."We better end this before they end me hun.." He said with out thinking, as he was running and slashing them down.

"on it." She called taking a deep breath and sucking in as much air as she could. Quickly heating up the air stored in her mouth she grabbed on of the guys pointing a gun by his face. Forcing his mouth opened she blew the steam in and watched as it burned him from the inside. Pulling away she licked her lips heated air trailing up from the corner of her mouth. Turning she punch another man in the face melting the flesh off at the same time. "God, how many are there?" trying to avoid being shot, one of the bullets hit her arm and she let out a pained scream.The bullets looked as if they were made of energy and she couldn't melt energy. Pushing the pain aside she tried to make contact with another hunter she wasn't even sure how they had found them let alone how they go to on the boat with out Kory or her knowing.

"Almost done.." He said as he was killing more and more along with her. He was being shot, but it wasn't bothering him, they are almost all dead. Where there was only two left, he spotted one aiming his gun at her again. "NNNOOOOOOooo" He said as he dove and the shot hit me, instead on hitting her. He landed on the boat with a loud thud, like metal hitting metal, and he took out one in his descent. But there was something different this time, he could see what was going on but couldn't move. Robin! Behind you, last one.." he added as he was starting to have a hard time seeing now.

Turning she threw her weight into the punch and watched in satisfaction as part of the man's face burnt down to the bone. Turning back she went to say something sarcastic to Kory before she noticed him on the ground. She had been too caught up in fighting that she couldn't remember when he had gotten hit. The color drained from her face when she say all of the blood. Robin tried to tell her self that it could easily just be the hunters blood but even she didn't believe that. "kor...Kory. Oh god." Dropping down she started to scan his body for the wound. " where were you hit?'

"Just heat me up.." he said softly as he was fading. He was slowly going unconscious. The bullets were all over, and he just needed to heat to get rid of them. He knew she could do it, and he didnt know if it would hurt or not, but he knew it would help.

Robin took a deep breath she wasn't sure she could do this. What if she heated him up to much, what if this turned out just like her dream? What was she going to do, he had told her to heat him up, and she did trust him but she didn't trust herself."o.k." if she had the time to think she would have been disgusted with how shaky her voice was. Heating up her hands she begin running them over his chest and arms. She focused more on the upper chest to help with any bullets that might have come close to vital organs. Her hands where shaking and she just kept going over everything Ryley had taught her about staying in control. "You have to be o.k. Kory, you have to be. I'm not giving you permission to leave me yet."

Kory could feel the heat, and it was doing what he wanted, taking the bullets out. But it was also starting to bubble his skin. He was able to turn 60 % metal, so when the flesh was gone, it was turn silver and reappear. He was glad she was there, but he was out enough he couldn't respond. He knew she was getting them, and she was hurting for seeing him like this, but he had to stop the bullet from hitting her, witch it hit him in the head.

Finally looking down at him she noticed blood coming from his head. Not wanting to remover her hands, least she had missed something, she tried to think of someway to heat up his head.Leaning down she let her lips heat up to a fairly hot temperature before she lightly ran them along his forehead down to his cheek. She was fighting to stay calm and in control. If she got too hot and touched his flesh, well she wasn't sure if he could heal a wound that had been burnt down to the bone and cauterized. "Kory answer me, I need to know this is working." Robin knew that she also needed to make sure that all the hunters were dead.

Kory was starting to come back to normality, and he could hear her. "Yea it is.." he said this time you could hear in his voice that it was. "Few more minuets then you can stop.." He said as he was trying not to move, because he didn't know how far away she was, and didn't want to mess her up. After a while he was able to make his whole body turn metal again, and the bullets that she didn't get yet started backing out of his body and started hitting the floor of the boat. He knew she wouldn't hurt him this way so he sat up, and looked at her. "Thanks..." he said, and before thinking and not caring if her tep was still hot, but he wrapped his arms around her.

Robin tried to pull away from him "Kory don't I'm still to hot." she was really worried about hurting him. It didn't matter to her that she had just heated up his body without burning him she could still slip in her control. With him holding her like that she could already feel herself warming up more then she already was. Or was she just blushing; she wasn't so sure now. Forcing her self to cool down to a normal temperature she returned the hug. She was trying hard not to think about the fact that had he not had the power he had Kory would be dead right now. Tears started to leek from her eyes as she tightened her grip on him. "Don't ever do something stupid like that again."
