Hazel smiled at the slave and glanced over to the man selling her than back to the slave. "What is your name?" She asked softly.

"It is Memedorei Kou."

"Memedorei...that is a very cool name. Mine's just borring old Hazel." She smiled.

"Um...a color? A food....I was named after my eye color. There's also a Hazel nut." Hazel tried to think of anything else related to her name.

Hazel smiled slightly. "Well I think it's kind of dumb to be named after and eye color...but that's just me...."

Suki looked at the two of them and smiled. She liked Mistress Hazle allot and hoped that she would not give her up for a long time. Her tears had dried by now and she didn't seem as upset thogh you could tell that the letter was still eating away at her heart. The letter had made her so curiose and she wanted to read the rest of the letters in the box and see what else was in it. Though she could wait for her mistress to tell her they were going to be leaving.

(Lol you should give yourself more credit Sinsue. It's a joint roleplay so you're as much the leader as I am, and I think you did a very good job. :D Though I do know how hard it is to run a joint one by yourself so I'm sorry for my absence and any sort of stress that it caused. >< Though I will say that I don't plan on my compy encountering five viruses ever again...My computer was out more than it was home and I'm still trying to get all the programs I've lost since my hard drive was wiped, quite a few times. But roleplay wise I have everything, at least on here, so I can start with the roleplaying again. :D I apologize for my late response to all. >< And now to play catch up. Hmmm Alice won't be able to do much without Dia so her parts going to be relatively...short ><. Oh and as for prices, who needs prices? XD I think so far we just sort of had our character hand the merchants some gold and called it good. XD)

Alice couldn't help but smile herself when she saw the fairyfly smiling. She was pleased that she had managed to make one of her companions happy, now if only she could treat her other one's leg and have that heal up then things would be well on their way to perfection in her eyes. After all she had come out of the market with two new companions and ones that she liked and got along well with.

The rabbit demon took another look towards Hazel, noticing first her talk and comforting with one of her own servants, then after an embrace she and the said girl began to head towards another cage. "Farewell, I shall possibly come to you sometime soon to arrange a time for Raven and Mjrn to spend a bit of time together and for a chance to have pleasant conversation with you" she said with one last goodbye wave, before she once more began ushering her companions towards the exit of the market. She figured the sooner they made it out to the sunlight and out of the depressing atmosphere of the slave market the better it would be for her companions and herself.

At his mistress's words Raven gave a calm and gentle bow. "As you and Miss Suki wish. If the walk does become too much though, and you'd rather not be in the carriage, I've no objections of flying you. And if height is an issue with that I can fly relatively close to the ground" the raven demon offered kindly. He hadn't been able to make much use of his wings before when he was in his cage before he was bought and it was refreshing for him to have a chance to use and stretch them, and was perhaps one of the reasons why he had flown to get the carriage rather than just simply walk.


Raven calmly watched then as Hazel instructed that the wolf girl could go ahead and open the box, and continued to watch as Suki read the contents of a letter that she had pulled out of it and soon began to shed tears. He then watched as their new Mistress also read the letter and soon began to try and comfort the wolf girl. He attempted to give as comforting a look as he could, though he wasn't sure if in the gloomily shaded area if it was fully visible. Quietly he listened as the subject of master types were slightly discussed and as their Mistress told a bit about how she was. He then noticed Suki's recoiling and couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards her. He knew full well how servants were suppose to act around their masters and mistresses as well as suppressing their own emotions, so he could understand very well the wolf girl's reaction. He was sure though that Hazel wasn't really as strict about it based on her words and actions.

His golden eyes soon watched as the Mistress led Suki towards another cage of a slave and began conversing. He was unsure if perhaps this was a sort of 'girl' moment and should attempt to busy himself with something else to allow them privacy, or follow after and converse as well. In his debate over his actions his mind couldn't help but wander towards the subject of what had caused the wolf girl to shed tears. She was clearly calmed down now, although the raven demon could tell that something was still eating away at her. He figured perhaps it was something to do with the letter, but he couldn't be entirely sure since he didn't read it, figuring that only if he was either ordered to or if both Hazel and Suki wanted him to read it he would as it seemed to be a personal matter for the wolf girl. Though from what he got from the exchange between the two women it had to do with Suki's brother and locating him. He thought calmly about it. He wasn't sure of what the brother's name was, but what he was sure about was that he could at least find out a bit of information. After all he was once a servant of the Nightray Household, and so getting information for him wasn't too difficult as he had kept in contact with most of the informants that the late Lord Nightray had established.

Alexander sat in a small five-by-five iron-barred cage with a bunch of other slaves in the same confines as his own. Alexander sat in the back of his cage, hugging his knees to his chest. His head was bowed, and his striking blue eyes were looking up through his white locks of hair. There was a leather collar around his neck, connected to a chain that dropped and trailed out to a connector on the ground outside of his cage. That was what the slave drivers used as a leash to lead the slaves to wherever they wanted them to go. Alexander didn't want to be here, he just wanted to go back home, even though his parents were dead. Then a slave handler appeared smirking in front of his cage, and grabbed the leash end of Alexander's chain. "Hey! It's your turn!" He said, tugging on the leash and pulling Alexander forward as he opened the door to his cage. Alexander allowed his teeth to become animal fangs, thinking of a wolf, and lunged at the slave driver, snarling angrily like a ferril animal. The guy yelled and jumped back, and two other slave handlers appeared, grabbing Alexander's arms and shoving him to the ground before he got to the other handler. As he growled at them like a dog, they tied his wrists behind his back, and attatched two other chains to his collar, keeping him at arms length so they wouldn't get bit. Alexander growled angrily as they got him back up on his feet. They pulled him over to a slightly different area and connected the chains to the walls, keeping him from moving to far. He could only move a few inches in any direction. He bared his canined fangs, snarling and snapping at the men.

(Sorry that was my bad. >< I gave the permission to go ahead and post up an intro. I would have said something sooner but I was on my way to Michigan, aka five hours of sitting in a car getting so bored that you start counting trees...Between my house and where I am now there are 1359 trees total...Yeah I was that bored..., Anyways sorry about that. :sweat: One thing I would like to say real quick though, you're intro looks good, the only thing that I would maybe alter is that instead of this being a slave auction it's actually a slave market, so the slaves are more like items in their cages where masters come around and just look at them with a merchant next to them to accept the money or gold or whatever our currency is to buy the slave. Mostly just so it doesn't confuse people. It's more of a dungeon setting. ^.^)

The slave handlers just laughed and picked up some sharp metal rods. They looked like fire pokers. Alexander's eyes widened in slight fear, but his teeth remained bared and angry. The handlers laughed some more as they poked and prodded at Alexander. One of them even hit him in the back of the knee, causing him to fall to his knee with a small cry of pain, and the fangs were turned back into normal human teeth. "Screw you!" He yelled defiantly through his grit teeth. They just laughed more and smacked him with the rods a few more times.

Just then, what looked to be a female demon acting as a sort of tour guide came through, leading a small group of middle to high class people. She smiled plesently as she held her hand out to each slave in a cage and discribed them as they passed. Then she paused at Alexander and held her hand out to him. "As you see here, this handsome young male slave must have been a bit naughty." She said, giggling. "He was taken quite recently as a slave, and so he's still a little rude, but don't worry, he'll be tame soon enough. If you wish to purchase him, then know that he is a shape-shifter, and quite the rare beauty as well. See those pretty white locks of hair? Very rare indeed." Alexander just glared at them, panting slightly from his beating, which had stopped for the time being due to the tour guide and her group appearing.

Alice looked over at the fairyfly woman and couldn't help but smile at her. "Well hopefully you'll be able to be outside as much as you want now rather than in a dingy underground market. I don't believe in keeping people in such conditions nor locking them away somewhere where they cannot get some fresh air. I'm sure that it probably feels better to stretch your wings out too. Those cages didn't really look all that comfortable" the rabbit demon said calmly although happy that she could get both Mjrn and Dia out of their cages and the depressing place they had been placed.

Cora was brought a couple weeks before this day. She was always snapping answers back at masters who came to look at her so that they would buy her. She wasnt having it and she seemed to the trainers, that she was in desperate need of training so that she didnt cause so much trouble. She was always trying to escape her cage. It was her power to use Shadows and that what she always did. It had only been days before that she was just a rich servant girl for a tavern that practiced using her shadow magic whenever she went home. It wasnt her fault she hadnt noticed two people following her for days until they finally grabbed her. She was suprised that they had and they put some kind of shackle on her that stopped her from using any of her demonic magic. Thats how she ended up in this slave market.

She would be restrained every day so that she could start her "Lessons" thats what they called them. Lessons to become a lady. She knew different and would fight back as much as possible. They would torture and whip her until it got tiring to hear her screams. Even after all of the stuff she did, she still wasnt breaking. Who in this world could break this girl down to become a good slave to be sold? The men that had taken her were the ones now put in charge of teaching her or else they would be punished along with her from the man who ran the slave trade. She was to be evaluated every day and then taken for lessons. They only found that little by little did this girl break but it was taking too long. This is where her story begins.

Cora was in her cage now. She was laying against the back bars with one leg up and the other outstretched. This was how she ended every day of torture. Every day of lessons. She didnt want it anymore. She wanted all of this to stop but she knew that they would win if she submitted. Her parents wouldve sent a search party sometime into her disappearance anyways, though the people would always say that there was no search party coming. She didnt know how long she could keep this up but she was going to try for as long as possible.

Alice smiled clearly happy at the fairfly. "There is no need to thank me. Such things as being free of cages and free to do things one enjoys doing is the right of every being. To deny one this is simply unjust. I will ensure though that both you and Dia's life with me shall be as best as I can make it. And do not worry about being a good girl, just be yourself. This is all I ask" the rabbit demon said gently. To her these two were both her servants and yet not her servants but rather her friends even though she had only known them for a short time. If she could she would have set them free right then and there, but the rabbit demon knew that, that would only end in them being caught and sold once more. So she would be their friend and master, ensuring that Mjrn and Dia were treated well and protected.

"Anyway, let's move on, shall we." Said the tour guide woman, leading the staring group back to the cages. As soon as they were out of sight, one of the slave handlers grabbed the back of Alexander's shirt and yanked, ripping it off from behind, exposing his toned body. Suddenly, he felt a stinging pain rip through his back as he was whipped. "Ah!" He screamed, struggling against his bonds as he felt warm sticky liquid running down his back. Another jolt of terrible pain caused Alexander to cry out through his gritted teeth. The slave handlers laughed and undid his bounds, yanking him by the chain leash attatched to his collar, and shoved him roughly back into his cage. There was now a large bloody X on his back, wich stung and festered, making the white-haired male extremely uncomfortable as he went down on all fours, hanging his head as he grit his teeth against the pain. "Damn you..." He muttered.
