Raven close his golden eyes as he listened quietly. "For people like me there is no need to feel sorry for us. Being alive is satisfying enough, what more could one really ask for? Even if you're claimed free there are still rules to follow both in nature and society. Though I must say am I really that transparent that one can tell I was born into slavery? I don't recall verbally revealing that, but it doesn't matter. To be honest I feel more sorry of those that were born 'free'. In the end the search for a happiness and purpose all throughout their lives. Even more so for those that pity those like I. For what I'm assuming to be your situation upon which you've come to be in that cage it is unfortunate, although there are other ways to gain what you once had. As it is now you could very well be torturing yourself more than you need to. Not all come here to merely buy for service. There are those that buy for freedom" he replied almost with a serene calm yet gentle tone opening his eyes once more.

For a brief moment he once more turned his attention towards his Mistress as he heard her voice, questioning whom the man was and desiring to know about Suki. He also took the time to glance about for the nearest slave trade, as he knew that they would more than likely carry a particular weapon that he could use quicker than he could move to his Mistress. Luck decided to shine once more upon the raven demon as one appeared to be almost within an arms reach of the cage behind him, clearly ignoring his and the slave girl in the cage's conversation. After confirming that the particular slave trade did indeed carry the weapon he desired he turned his attention back to the shadow demon, though kept a close eye on the strange male near his Mistress.

"You wouldnt understan...." Just as Cora was speaking a guard banged on the bars next to her. "No speaking." He said to her. She glared at the man but followed his order anyways. She cut the conversation short. She wanted to finish her sentence but what the man had been saying was getting to her. What could the harm be in actually trying not to rebel against what she knew to be wrong? What if she succumbed to the torture and 'teachings' that these people were trying to get through her head. What was the worst that could happen? She could be sold to a man that would use and abuse her? At least she wouldnt be as abused here for her overly used mouth. She would probably get better food then the scraps she had always gotten.

Cora leaned her head up against the bars. Was she really thinking about letting them win? She shook it out of her head and stared straight ahead. On the other hand she was showing that she had started to break just by listening to the guards. "You probably have to go to your master." She said quietly so the guards wouldnt hear her but the man could. She just stared straight ahead as she did so. She had her arms hanging her both knees since she was just letting her knees stay bent but not close enough that they were to her chest. It felt a little weird to follow what the guards said for once. It wasnt relaxing but it was better than getting beaten for her insulence.

Alexander's eyes narrowed even more at Raven. "So, you're a slave who's perfectly fine with being a slave. I'll never be like you. They murdered my parents, took me away from my home against my will." He said, his voice dark and angry. His blue eyes wandered over at the girl in the cage next to him yet again, and yet again he blushed, as he realised she was so scantily clad. He himself had no shirt, and only black jeans on.

Raven's gaze was calm as it wandered over to the angered male as he seemed to reveal his reasoning for being in the cage. "Yes I'm a slave that is content, and I've no desire to force you to be the same as I as there is no way that we could ever truly be the same. Like the Miss's situation yours too is unfortunate. You hold onto your anger, but I doubt it will bring you much comfort or happiness. Then again though I could very well be wrong" he said calmly.

His attention then once more shifted to the female. Calmly he shook his head as the guard banged her cage and told her to quiet down. "Please sir it was my fault not hers so do not take it out on her" he said gracefully standing and giving a small bow and looking at the man. His golden eyes then came to rest on his Mistress yet again. "Yes I suppose I should be getting back to my Mistress. I wish you luck in the decisions you make and find happiness in them" he said with a gentle smile and this time bowed to the girl in the cage and even towards the boy before turning and making his way to Hazel, Suki and the strange male.

Immediately he took his place near Hazel and Suki though his attention was on his Mistress. "Is everything alright here Mistress Hazel?" he gently asked with a bow. His gaze switched over to the unfamiliar male although it was clear his attention was still on Hazel.

"Ow, yes, I apologize maddem. My name is Sonzo Kazuno." Son said with a small bow. When he returned to his standing posision he knowtissed a male slave now standing next to Hazel. Suki looked at him confusedly then left Hazel's side for a short second to rummage threw the black box for a minute and returned with what she had bean looking for. She now held in her hands a small picture that she was staring down at then looked at Sonzo then back at the image of her brother from about 4 years before.

Hazel glanced over to Raven and smiled at him. "Yeah....every thing is fine. You can go back and talk with whomever that was over there or stay here. It's your choice. And please don't bow or call me mistress. I'm just Hazel. There's nothing special about me." Focusing her attention back on Sonzo she looked at him for a moment. "Sonzo Kazuno?" She asked quietly looking over at Suki and compairing the picture Suki held to the man. They did look similar. "You're really Sonzo Kazuno?" She asked glancing over to Raven wondering what he thought of Sonzo.

"Yes ma'am." Sonzo said with a smile. Suki looked at Son then looked up at Hszel. She didn't know what to say or for that matter think. Every thing was happening so fast in her mind. First, Hazel saves her before her previouse owner could kill her, second, she learns about her older brother, and finaly he somehow finds her even though she thought he was bead. She just couldn't get a hold of her own thoughts.

"Oh....Thank God!" Hazel got super excited and couldn't help but hug Sonzo. "We were going to look for you once Suki got all settled into my house." She grinned at him and looked over to Suki putting an arm around her sholder. "It's you're brother! He's still alive. Isn't that wonderful." She looked back at Raven again and smiled at him. Did he ever even read the letter?

Cora watched as the man left. Then she turned her head back to her fateful prison. He had told the guard that it was his fault for her talking but she knew the guard didnt care. The words he had spoken about not trying to convert them to the way he was because they would never be the same were untrue. He had been trying otherwise he wouldnt have come up with excuses for them to stop fighting for what they believed in. She turned to the man in the cage next to her. "I dont believe i said thanks for earlier. The names Cora... No need for last names. Whats yours?"

Alexander looked over at the girl next to him, though forced his gaze to remain on her face, trying to not pay attention to her scantily clad body. It was hard to do, but he managed it. She introduced herself as Cora. A lovely name. He smiled warmly at her. "It's alright. There's no need for you to thank me. My name is Alexander. If you want, you can just shorten it to Alex. I don't mind." He replied.

"Alex. I think ill go with Alex.... Im sorry about your family." Cora turned away though she loved looking at the man she didnt want to be caught staring at his scared well built body. He didnt have a shirt because the guard had torn it off of him a few minutes after the tour had left. He only had on black pants. "Its nice to know your not alone." She said. Afterwards, she sighed to herself and looked down at her legs where the pants ripped at the knees. Her skin was still tan though she hadnt been outside in a long while. "How long have you been here?"

The smile disappeared from Alex's face, and he looked down, his blue eyes narrowing slightly. "It's.... Alright..." He mumbled, not wanting to think about his murdered parents. He nodded at her next comment about it being nice not being alone. "Yes. I suppose you're right." He looked up at her, his eyes wandering a bit, though he quickly tore his gaze away and looked down again. "Not that long. Only a few days." He answered. "And you?"

"I dont remember." Cora said as she leaned her head against the bars. "Its hard to tell when you get taught a lesson and dont know if youve been out for hours or days ya know?" She looked at the man again. His eyes had wandered again, which she smiled at as she let hers wander as well then looked at his face again. "Im just glad i have someone to talk to."

Alex looked back up at Cora, their eyes meeting as he smiled at her. "Yes. I am too, Cora... Cora... That's truely a lovely name." He said, not even trying to flirt. He was a rather simple farm-boy, so he didn't really know how to flirt anyway.

Cora smiled even more from the flattery she had recieved from the boy. "thank you. My mom wanted to name me Coral because of the reef in an ocean. She loves the ocean. My dad said that the name was too popular so they shortened it to Cora as in the core of their lives now. Its sweet when you think about it now." She blushed for a second. "Sorry... Im talking too much." In truth she hadnt talk to someone like this in so long. It was a relief to be able to do it now.

Alex chuckled and shook his head. "No, that's alright. Your voice is very lovely. I don't mind if you talk." He said assuringly, smiling at her. In truth, Cora's voice was quite soothing to him, and he really did like hearing it. Then, he got an idea. "Hey... What's your favorite animal?" He asked, raising an eyebrow in interest.

Cora looked in suprise at the man. She was blushing uncontrollably now that he had said that her voice was lovely. It was strange that she would blush at a comment like that. Especially when they were in two cages and she had been beaten many times now. Then he asked the strangest question. Or at least in her eyes. Maybe it was to get to know her. "My favorite animal? I think id have to go with either a wolf or a horse. Why? Whats yours?"

Alex grinned, and as he did so, his teeth elongated and pointed into sharp fangs. "Anything I want to become." His mouth and nose elongated, and his ears moved to the top of his head and pointed. White fur rose up out of his body as he became a white wolf with bright blue eyes. The leather collar was still around his neck, and seemed to be able to get bigger and smaller depending on what he turned into. His striking eyes looked at Cora as he stood and pushed his muzzle, his black nose twitching, through the bars between the cages. His ears were perked, and his tail was wagging slowly back and forth.

(Lol I'm working on it. I didn't have a chance to get on when I was volunteering so that has put me behind slightly on my roleplays. :sweat:)

"As you wish, though you are wrong about you being nothing special. Because of you neither I nor Miss Suki still reside in a cage, and I no longer wonder whom it is I am to serve next nor whether or not they are a kind or cruel master. You are far more special than you are giving yourself credit for Mist- Hazel at least in mine eyes" Raven replied calmly as he had to both correct himself from calling her Mistress Hazel again and to prevent himself from bowing. For him those where perhaps two of the most common things that he had. All his life he had addressed his master or mistress with a title of some sort, never daring to call them just by their first name, and bow to them as a sign of respect and his dedicated servitude towards them. It would take a little while, but he would change it if she wished him to. After all how could one be an ideal servant if one did not mold themselves to fit their owner's desires and wishes?

"As for my returning to the Madam and Sir I was talking to before, I would rather stay here. I fear that my words and thoughts have been molded into a false intent. From my past experience with such persons it is best to let them continue to believe what they wish rather than attempt to try and show them otherwise" he gently replied. His intent truly had not been to convert either, merely he was giving his opinion and thoughts on certain actions as well as simply questioning why they do them. They didn't ask them to follow them, merely his intent had been merely to try and understand the reasonings and logic that they chose to act with. After all he had clearly stated a fair number of times he lacked the understanding for their actions as they perhaps did his.

His golden gaze then turned to calmly inspect the man before them. He hadn't read the letter, after all it was not his to read unless it was wished of him to do so, but he had heard the conversations following after between Suki and Hazel which for him was enough to piece certain things together. What he didn't figure out was then revealed by Hazel's words and Suki's reaction, which was merely what connection the man had with Suki. "I think perhaps Miss Suki is in shock? Perhaps we it wise to adjourn to an area where she can sit and take it all in at her own pace. After all much excitement has occurred" the raven demon suggested with a kind and warm smile.

Cora watched in amazement. At first she had turned her head away from him but then when he spoke she looked again. He was changing. His ears moved to the top of his head and became pointed. His body grew fur all around it. Pure white fur. His hands and legs turned into the feet of a dog. She kept watching in bewilderment. When he was fully changed, she focused on the piercing yet peaceful blue eyes of the wolf. They were beautiful. When he put his head forward inbetween the bars she stroked his head and then gave him a sort of hug. It made her so happy to have a friend who could turn into an animal. She kept petting him. "Thank you" She said smiling.

Cora heard a soft and kind chuckle inside of her head as the wolf's tail wagged a little faster. "I think this is probably my favorite animal to change into. I'm glad you like it." Said Alexander's voice in her head. He couldn't speak except to other animals of the same kind when he wasn't human. However, he could communicate through the minds of people, and could understand what they were saying.

"See so you do have a favorite animal." Cora said as she hugged him. She liked the feel of his soft fur in her hands, on her face, pretty much against her skin. She kissed him on the nose to show her gratitude and just kept stroking him as she began to fall asleep. For some reason, petting the wolf was soothing to her. Enough so that she began to sleep against the bars with her arm laying on his back.

Alex blinked in surprise when Cora kissed his nose, and if he were in his human form, he would have blushed a dark red. Then she started falling asleep against him and the bars. Alex didn't think that it was very comfortable for her, so he used his muzzle to push and maneuver her into laying down a bit more comforably, though her arm was still on him, and he layed down on the other side of the bars. The petting and attention was actually soothing him quite a bit as well, and he put his ears back and layed his head on his paws and went to sleep.

((I'm gonna be leaving later on today, and won't be back for three days on a camping trip. So, no computer access until Saturday! Sorry!))
