Mjrn curtsied as he bowed to tell her to lead. Grinning she lightly took his hand and tugged for him to come with her. "Or, we could just walk together." She teased softly with a melodic giggle. Her hazel eyes smiled as she tried to pull him along.

Alex's smile slowly disappeared. "Yeah... I wish we were in a different situation as well..." His ice blue eyes looked out at a couple of the guards, narrowing in slight anger at their captors. "Unfortunately, wishing isn't going to get out of here..." He said, his hand going up to his collar.

Cora looked at him and then at the guards who were watching them. She didnt like being here just as much as he didnt. "Unfortunately neither of us are going to get out of here with these on." She pointed to her own collar which controlled her shadow magic. "This is whats making us unable to leave or idve already left."

Alex nodded. "Yeah, I've tried everything. This damn collar just changes with me. Watch." Alex showed her by changing into an array of different sized animals. First a mouse, then a snake, then a polar bear, then a canary, then a horse. The collar just shrank and grew with him as he turned into all the different animalsm each animal was white like his hair. When he was a horse, he was about to turn into a different animal, when one of the guards spotted him and opened the door to his cage and began whipping him on the back. The Alex-horse whinied in pain and returned back to the human form, gritting his teeth, his ice blue eyes angered as he was on all fours. He was about to get up, but the guard stepped on his back and shoved him hard down onto the cold cement floor.

Raven gently nodded his head as his warm and friendly smile remained. "If that is what you'd prefer" he said gently with a kind chuckle and allowed himself to be pulled along. As they began to make his way up he could hear the sounds of a slave getting whipped, and didn't doubt it was one of the two he was talking to earlier. 'One day perhaps they'll experience that serving another really isn't as bad as they make it out to be...' he thought with a sort of saddened sigh. He knew of course that from what he had gathered it would be quite a long time before either really thought anything like that and even then the possibility was that they never would. Either way though the raven demon knew there wasn't really anything he could do for either. After all he was a really just a slave himself, the only difference being the chains they rejected he simply accepted and embraced.

Cora just watched as the man turned into animals of all different shapes and sizes. The collar only changed with him. He had just turned into a horse when the guard stepped in and started to whip him. When he turned back into a man he was on all fours trying to get up when the guard stepped on him, shoving him hard to the floor. "STOP IT. DONT HURT HIM." She clung to the bars trying to use her shadows but they wouldnt come out. All it did was make his shadow dance on its own as if trying but failing to grab the man. A couple other guards opened her cage and she fought them off physically as two of them grabbed her chains. "DONT TOUCH HIM." She kept screaming back at the other guard who was laughing as the ones that had been fighting her were finally able to restrain her.
"Its time for your lesson in manners anyways girly." One of the guards snickered. Of course it was time for her lesson already, on how to become a better slave. She kept trying to fight him as she was taken to the torture chamber that was used for 'training.'
About a couple hours later they dragged her back to her cage and laid her on the ground. Her body was bruised and battered. She herself was unconscious in the middle of the cage when they had laid her there. They connected the chains that needed to be connected and the guards left, laughing. They were joking about how she should be able to be broken soon. It was just a matter of time.

"No! Cora! Stay silent!" Yelled Alex desperately as the guard stomped mercilessly on his back with his foot. He reached out to her as they drug her away, his eyes wide and his mouth open in an angered yell. Another guard came in and helped the original one kick the angered shape-shifter while they torchered Cora in a different room. Alex turned into a wolf half-way through the beating, snarling and biting at his captors. Then they just resorted to whips, keeping a safe distance. He was cut along the bridge of his nose, but refused to be broken, howling and biting and growling and snarling until they brought Cora out and got bored with him. Alex's body was shaking, and he was bleeding from a few different cuts on hs limbs and back, and the one cut going diagonally across the bride of his nose. "Cora..." He said softly in her mind before changing back to his human form, reaching through the bars and touching the back of her hand gently with the tips of his fingers.

Cora didnt wake up until she heard a voice inside her head. It became part of the dream she was having of her being dragged through a dark tunnel and someone screaming her name, echoing it through her head. She woke with a start when her hand was touched and looked towards Alex. "Dont worry about me" She said in a coarse voice. "It was just the usual time for my 'Lessons', but thank you."

(Lol nope she hasn't yet. Perhaps she was waiting until you came back? :D)

(It's a hotel and I just have really bad wireless connection from my room. Not that I should be on here. My roommate says typing is too loud, yet she can text with the sound on her phone........I don't understand some people.)

(Well at least it's internet I suppose. XD Lol you could always tell her if she doesn't want you typing on your computer then she shouldn't be texting on her phone since it makes noise too when she types. :D)
