I shrugged,"I don't mind..."I drank some coke,resulting in emptying half the bottle.I sighed and stared down at my white Etnies,I really needed to get new ones...

"What's wrong? you seem so down." Dean was worried, he thought she'd be the kind of girl to ALWAYS skate.

I looked up,it was since we went to the hospital,I thought I was over my mom...dying.But it turns out I wasn't.I brushed some hair out of my eyes and tried to fight back tears.

Dean noticed she was about to cry, he put his arm on her shoulder, "Hey... what's wrong? did i say something?" he asked her gently.

I shook my head,"No."I paused and wiped my eyes,"It's nothing.Promise."

Dean wasn't so sure but decided to drop the subject, "If you wanna talk about it, you can count on me okay?" He asked her.
Then grabbed his board and skated a few round of the ring

I sighed,I wanted to talk to Dean,but I only just met him.It would be weird.I looked up to see my friend,Frankie,walking towards me.He smiled,
"Hey Silver!"He ran up to me and hugged me.
I smiled back,"Hi."
Then the weirdest thing happened...

He stared at the ground and laughed nervously,"Uh...I was thinking...maybe you...wouldwanttogooutwithme?"He said quickly.
My eyes widened,"What?!"
I looked over at Dean,before turning back to Frankie,"Uh,yeah...sure."
Frankie smiled,"Really?Great!"He hugged me again before running off again,"I'll talk to you later!"He yelled.
I smiled and turned back to Dean,"That was strange!"

Dean shrugged and walked off.
The first girl he met that actually talked to him and seemed to like him, already had a boyfriend. He had like Silver from the start but had decided to take it slow, he should have just asked her the first time.

I saw Dean walk off,I ran after him,"What's wrong?!"

"Are you asking that because you care or because you got nothing better to do?" dean was a little huffed and didnt really feel like talking to Silver and explaining his emotions, he had his secret Phillip the teddy back in his office for that.

I stopped walking,"Of course I care!!!Why would you even think that?!"
I was pretty annoyed with him,and I didn't understand why he was acting like this...

"I got go home," he grabbed his skateboard and left, "See you later!" he called. He felt pretty bad about leaving her like this but then again he was troubled.

I stared at him,"Why are you so mad?!"I was so angry with him,that I didn't even wait for a reply.I turned around and skidaddled outta there.Like a potato on fire at a BBQ in Mexico.

Dean skated furiously to his office, he didnt even say Hi to Hugh when he got in, why did he feel like this, was it jealousy?

I ran home and stormed into my room.I threw myself onto my bed.I kicked the wall and screamed,why was he being like this?!

ONce in his office Dean let him self fall on his bed, a dog came to him and started licking his face. "Wat the..?!" the dog was a cute black and white labradoodle, "Ah.. u cutey.." he petted the dog and it instantly licked his hand, "Where did you come from?" The dog barked and made itself cozy on the couch.
He called Hugh, "euh dude i have a dog up here? is he yours?" To what Hugh replied with a laugh and a grunt and hung up. Strange...

After my huge tantrum,my dad felt brave enough to show his face.
"Uh...Silver,what happened?!"
I sat up,"Frankie asked me out."
My dad sat down on my bed,"The skater one that lives down the street?"
I nodded,"Yeah.And Dean got really mad at me because I said yes."
My dad shook his head,"I think,maybe...he's jealous."
My eyes widened,"WHAT?!"
I laughed a little to myself,Dean wouldn't be jealous of Frankie.Would he?

Dean was sitting on the couch next to TheDog. Why had Hugh laughed? "right dog... i suppose i should feed you?" TheDog whimpered and barked and wiggled his tail wickedly. "uhm... sausages? i dont have dog food!"
Dean set off to his kitchenette and fried some sausages, cut them up and put them in a bowl. He placed them on the floor, and they were instantly gone TheDog had waffed them up.
"Euh.. you hungry?" The dog curled back up on the couch and didnt make a sound. Dean took this opportunity to go see Hugh.

"HUGH!! We need to speak , man!" Hugh poked his face round his little office thing.
"Whats up buddy?"
"A dog in my office? Yours maybe?"
"No buddy i dont have a dog, he's urs. Ur dad dropped him off." Hugh said simply. His dad had dropped the dog off? his dad came here? what the F-c-u-k was he doing here?
"What did he want?"
"Calm it buddy, he just wanted you to have the dog. Buddy he wanted no contact, no big deal, just a dog."
"Just a dog which costs money to feed, take out to pee, take care of in general!!!!" Dean couldnt look after a dog how was he supposed to do that, but then again it would provide him a friend... maybe itll help him get over Silver.

I decided to go out for a while.I didn't like being stuck in the house.I didn't take my skateboard though.I wasn't in the mood for skateboarding roght now...

Dean had setled on the couch with TheDog, "I need a name for you." He said petting TheDog. TheDog looked up and licked Dean's pen which he was holding to write review with, it made a funny scribble on the sheet. "I know how about Doodles! D for short just like me!" he laughed at himself and cuddled his new friend, but for some reason Silver was still in his thoughts.

I found myself at the cemetery.I sighed and walked through the huge iron gates and found myself sitting by my mom's grave.She always knew what to say,and I found it comforting to be near her again...

Doodle was pawing at the door crazy and yowling, but D had fallen asleep, so he had to pee on the floor which he didnt want to do.

I opened my eyes to see that it was raining.I must've fallen asleep.I sighed and got up,wiping the mud of me.I walked around for a while before I decided to head home.I was walking along the pavement,when a car skiddd out of control and knocked me to the ground.I heard the crunch of my arm and I screamed,then it all went black...

Dean woke up from the ambulances sirens just at the graveyard, he got up and looked out of his window, they were putting a girl on a carry bed matt thing... SILVER!!
"Doodle follow me," he got up put on his jacket and went to the door only to find a puddle. "DOODLE" Doodle whimpered and scuttled out of the door, D followed, they were both running to the ambulance. An old man was waiting patiently and explaining to the doctor that he must go and cannot travel with the ambulance. "Wait! i'll travel with her! She's my euh friend." he hesitated he wanted to say girlfriend but thought that was pushing it a bit.
the doctor nodded, "The dog aint coming,"
"Doc the dog is coming whether you like it or not, it might save her life." D said without knowing why he siad it might save her life but he didnt feel like leaving Doodle al alone.

*A few hours later...*

I woke up in a hospital room.Everything was white,and I didn't like it.It just seemed so...clean!I turned my head slightly to see Dean and my dad sitting next to me.I forced a smile,"Hey."It didn't sound right,it came out like a gasp.I felt a sharp pain in my right arm and I winced.I looked down to see that my arm was in a cast,but it was a black one,so it was all good...
