The land has fell under the spell of the damned souls and demon beast. It has been years since there has been peace in the land. Famine is rapped in this land along with demons and evil spirits that seek their revenge on the land and it's people. For the people of this land there has been nothing but grief and pain through the years. Before the demons came into play the people of the land had been split by war. The feuding family's of the samurai and of the Ninjas had been at war after the loss of their shoguns. During this time there is no respect for life. Women and children are beaten, raped,and killed if not by the demons then by the men of the other family's. The corruptions of men's heart runs wild through the land leading to the destruction of both man and the land. With out anyone to stand up to the demons and spirits there is no hope of the land or its people to ever find peace or happiness........

This is where the story begins. It is time for the people of the land no matter what family rather Samurai or Ninja to forget their feuding to help save their land and themselves from the demons and spirits that are wanting to destroy both of them. Now is where your part of this legend starts what side will you help?

Power: Rukura can summon minor demons with her cards. She has control of water and the weather.
History: Unlike the others left in this dreadful land Rukura is quit gifted. In her blood runs some of the strongest demon blood known to this land. Long before the death of the shogun her great ancestor mated with a demon of great power. The mix lead to the death of the Shogun as well as the feuding between the family's. Her ancestor was suppose to marry the Samurai shogun. Because she broke her vow to him a war began. Because of her ancestor Rukura has been chosen as the next in line to take her family's place in the Ninja family's. Though she has been trained as a Ninja with all the combat skills including hand to hand. Rukura is seen as a priestess instead of a fighter. Because of her powers she is quit deadly. Rukura uses her power to help protect those around her from the wrath of the demons and the cruel men that surround them.

History: Siyas family had been in a place of wealth. They taught her the way of the ninja since she could walk. They had been a good family until another family attacked them. They told her to hide so she did. The family killed her older brothers and her father. She watched as they dragged her mother to the room and heard screaming. She closed her eyes and saw them drag her back out with her clothes ripped. They cut her head off. She ran out to her mother as they were leaving and one grabbed her. She struggled as he brought her to their home. They never killed her for it was the youngest son. He had hid her in secret so that she would not die. It seemed tragedy followed her for demons had raided her new home killing them. She fought and killed the demons but was to late to save the man.

Power: Unlike the other samurai Ryuu is gifted as the ninjas. When his demon side comes out he has the power over shadows. His greatest power is his skills with his sword. It has been rumored that he was responsible for the death of many of the elder demons of the land.
History: Though Ryuu is the descendent of the great shogun that died. He is nothing like his ancestor. Unlike his ancestor rules the samurai family’s with his wits not his sword though if it is needed he will use it to keep the family’s inline. Ryuu was cursed thanks to his ancestor fight with the demon that had taken his betroth. The great demon cursed Ryuu when he was just a child. Though his ancestor had fought to the death with the demon and the ninja’s the demon managed to live with the help of the ninja’s. The great demon came to Ryuu before it died. The demon cut its self and let it’s blood run into Ryuu’s mouth before the demon died. Besides making him a half demon that comes out when he is near another demon the curse makes him deadly and unable to stay around people for long periods due to the fact when he become angry his demon half comes out. This curse has made life quit difficult for him. When he is near normal people he has the urge to kill them and taste their blood. Not only that but he has marks on his left arm that mark him as a demon not a man. Though Ryuu hates the demon for what he has done his focus in life is to help keep his families together and rid the land of demons. Ryuu has little to do with the ninja families unless they start a fight with him or one of the members of his family’s. Ryuu travels about the dreaded land helping as he can trys to tame the beast that eats away at him from the inside begging to be let out. Ryuu lives his life by the samurai coed. He never leaves without his sword. Though he may be cursed he believes that is no reason to live his life in the shadows. He uses his skills and his position as the head of the Samurai family’s to help the people of the land.

History: Takakura is from a long line of samurai warriors. His family was the personal guard of the shogun. But when the demon army attacked the main city of Kyoto, Takakura's family was killed. Now weilding the sword past down through his family for generations, Takakura roams the land, slaying demons and monsters wherever they may be.

Takakura walked down the lone dirt road which led through the forest. The silence was deafining. Takakura knew there were demons in the area. He could sense them. Suddenly, he stopped and placed his hand on his sword. He was not alone.

rue jumped from tree to tree and look a man on the road and fighting demons as well she jumped to the road and fight the demons

Rukura watched the strange man from the safety of the forest. She knew he could feel the demons as well as she could. She felt her blood turn to ice as she saw his sword. "So one of the Samurai's." She stud in the tree line as her eyes rolled to where the demon was lurking waiting for him to come closer.

Suddenly, a demon came rushing out of the forest towards Takakura. In the blink of an eye, Takakura removed his sword and slashed at the demon. The demon's arm came flying off in spray of blood. Be fore it could even turn, Takakura slashed at the demon again. after a moment, the demons head slid off its shoulders. "I hoped you enjoyed the show" Takakura said to the ninja who was watching him from the trees.

Rukura ignored the man's words as she made the air around him turn ice cold. She steeped out for the forest her eyes closed as she turned from the two samurai. She held up her hand as a blue card appeared in it in a flash. She turned and threw the card on the remains of the demon. With in moments the demon reappeared then suddenly disappeared into the card. She held out her hand as the card reappeared in it. She turned and began to walk off to the near by village.

Siya had been hiding in the trees above the priestess watching what had happened. She saw the demon come back together and go into the card. What a strange woman. hehehe its a good thing i know her. The ground shook in front of Rukura and a wall appeared. She jumped flipping onto it and looked down at her. "Hey Rukura, long time no see."

Rukura open her eyes as a slight smile came across her face as she felt the ground shake. She smiled as she saw the cause of it. "I see you are still up to your old tricks friend." She rolled her eyes to Siya. She held up her hand up as the card disappeared in thin air. She walked closer to the wall and looked up at it.

The wall went into the ground as she came down with it in front of her old friend. "I see you are as well" She smiled to her. "Another demon caught by your cards huh?" She ignored the man that was standing there watching them. He had killed a demon and Ruruka had ressurected it to be her servant. "You know i never did get use to that card thing. Youll have to show me how sometime."

Rukura smiled as she gave her old friend a hug. "I shall try if you like. "Rukura let the air around the others return to normal as she made a mist form around her and her friend. "Come lets go to the village or else where. Before I have to use my new card to ride ourselves of more demons. "

"Nah i think i would rather just keep my fire and earth." She looked around in the mist. "Was that a Samuri that you just left for living? wow how thoughtful." She laughed at the joke. Her friend had always been a kind one unlike those of their clan. They would kill the demons and any samuri they came apon. The world was in such a dark state now that it annoyed her but she lived through it with a smile on her face. She couldnt change what they did without being traitor to her family and what they worked so hard for in order to help these people.

Rukura closed her eyes as she walked in the mist. "Yes I did there was no need to kill him or the other girl that was there. If the world is going to change for the better it has to start with us Siya. Instead of fighting with one another we need to fight together. I know that the others of our Family's want approve of what we both just done letting them live but then again who is going to challenge us. You have fire and earth and I have demons, water and the weather on my side..." She turned and looked at Siya smiling. "So what have you been up too?"

Takakura continued on his way. After a while, He came across the Ninja again, this time she had a companion. "You trapt that demon with a summoning spell. I haven't seen anyone use that particular method in a long time. I am impressed."

Rukura turned and looked at the samurai. The mist faded as she could see it wouldn't keep him from following. "I am impressed you have a idea how I did it. Your skills with your blade are quite impressive as well sir."

She laughed at the other answer. It was true that they happened to be the strongest together especially because of the water earth weather and fire. The four elements on their side. "Very true. We could kick them a mile away before they had the chance. Ive mostly been taking care of peole. Demon killing as usual also. Ive also been policeing some of the villages. Their getting out of hand." She looked at the man who came up to them. A samuri would be a friend but how did he know of the powers Ruruka had. This was weird. Oh well if he tried to fight them they would be ready.

"Since we appear to all be headed in the same direction, I suggest we travel together. After all, there is strengh in numbers." Takakura walked along side the two ninjas. "I am Takakura, and what are your names?"

Rukura moved to the other side of Siya smiling at her as they began to walk. She wanted to talk to her friend but not around outsiders of their family's. She kept her eyes on the ground as she walked. "We are from the high family's I am Rukura."

"I know of the high famalies" Takakura said in a low voice. "My family were the offical samurai for the shogun, until the demon army destroyed the city."

Rukura kept her eyes on the ground wandering what was up with the girl that had made the seen. She closed her eyes as she stopped walking. She let them continued without her. She didn't want to hear any more from him she didn't want to be near him. She turned and began to walk the other direction as one of her blue cards appeared in mid air. In a flash a huge fox demon appeared. It knelled as she climbed on it's back. The fox demon let out a growl then head off with speed away from the others. Rukura knew that her friend would know how to find her if she wanted too.
