Derrick heard the knock on the door and let go of Evie, pushing her gently down as she tried to get back up with him. He moved to the door and pulled his pen out of his pockets, clicking it and flipping it in the air a few times before clicking it back and opening the door, seeing Percival and Johnathan. "Hey there." He said and leaned against the door casually, it opened enough to see his head and right shoulder, but that was all. In his left hand he had the pen, and his right had the doorknob in his clenched fist, ready to slam the door at a moment's notice. Don't kill him. I won't... Unless I have to. I'm not trying to.. You know. Yeah, I know what you mean. His brown eyes turned blue and then back to brown as Derrick stopped Noey. Stop that. Fine... Derrick looked back at John. "What's up?"

Evie looked up as Derrick kept her down on the bed and headed to the door. Seeing Derrick take out his weopon she let out a unaudiable gasp. What is he doing... Going through his mid she heard Derrick talking to Noey. "Dont hurt him Der-bear.." Michi whispered very queitly. "Percy is nice.." Evie shoved Michi back. Be quiet, please..You'll possibly make this worse.. Michi mentally nodded and played with Evies hair.

Percival saw that it was Derrick at the door. They both had their own ideas of why it was him. "hello, Derrick. I would like you to know that IYou mean--yes, I mean we, Percival and I have come to the resolution that you and Evie may be together. You shall experience none of our wrath, and we will be at peace, now. Both agreed that Jonathan's love was stronger than Derrick's. He was now a full foot off the ground and the nervous fluttering of his wings wern't helping

Evie blushed as Perc and John innerly thought they loved her more then Derrick. She couldnt comprehend why John loved her though..she had hardly spoken to him...With a sigh she curled up on the bed, accidently startling Jade , who dug her claw into Evie's hand instictly. Wincing Evie pulled her hand to her chest. "Ow.." She whimpered softly. Evie are you okay? Yeah, just a scratch, she watched the very faint bubbles of blood come to the surface.

Derrick's hand relaxed. "Well, we won't have a problem then, will we? Though I know you love her almost as much as I do, as her boyfriend I think there will still be some tension in the air, no matter how much either of us doesn't want it to be there." Alert to Derrick.. They feel Johnathan has more love than you do for Evie. Since when are you a mind reader? Emotion reader, if you must.. I feel and control emotions. Johnathan may think he loves her more than you, and that may be why it seems that way. Damn straight he doesn't. So you're telling me if he didn't think he loved her.. It's just him messing with his mind? As far as I think so. Derrick sighed. He didn't know whether to trust Noey or not, but he sure as hell wasn't letting Evie leave him, though he'd sworn he'd go with whatever made her happy.

Derrick let his hand relax and put the pen in his back pocket, opening the door another inch or so. "I'm pretty sure you know by now, I love Evie. I just want what's best for her, and even though I know she wouldn't like it if we fought, I'm just warning you... I've been up and down the streets... Don't judge a book by it's cover. One wrong move and- Ah, Percival and Johnathan! How are you? By the way, do you mind if I call you John and Percy? It's such a handful saying 'Johnathan and Percival! Percival and Johnathan!' every five seconds, you know?" Of course Noey knew that Percival had already said nothing else but Percival, but she was at least trying to distract them.

Derrick turned to Evie as Jade scratched her. "Aww, Jade.. Come on..." Derrick moved her to the floor and pulled Evie to him. "You okay?" He grabbed her hand and looked at it. "Let me go get the first aid kit.. Again." He teased her, smiling and stepping out of the room, into his.

Jonathan & Percival

Now they where both happy. They had presumably made friends with Derrick, if not, they at least had a ceasefire. They also discovered that the hallways where wide enough to fly through with their wings. They could even go up and down stairs. The would have to fold them to go through doors, of course. But now they wanted to go out, outside the haven, and fly. FREE, FREE AT LAST! They shared many laughs and a wide smile.

Evie tried to quietly get off the bed and head to the bathroom for the first aid kit, but Derrick was too quick, she sighed. Thank you Noey.. She said on the mind link. Michi was playing with Evie's hair a bit more as Evie was distracted by the two, braiding it. Evie knew if Noey hadnt interjected Derrick would have said something he might have regretted.As Derrick left she look up at John...innerly the guilt stabbing her..

Noey smiled to herself and Evie as Derrick found the first aid kit and went back, taking care of Evie. He's just trying to protect you. He does that a lot, by the way.. Always trying to protect everyone. Derrick thought about earlier when Rain had said that she was watching him. RAIN! That girl... I remember her now! She used to go to my high school... I hope she knows that I've changed somewhat now. Luckily I interrupted you. You just don't mess with elves. Noey.. Like I said. Don't judge a book by its cover. Yes but.. A dark elf AND a light elf... two totally different sources of power, a lot at that. You just don't- OKAY, Noe! I think I know a little about elves as well. Noe, you're such a know-it-all. Derrick finished Evie up and put the first aid kit back, sitting on the bed.

Evie blinked as she listened to Noey and then giggled as Derrick though of Rain. Apparently he was a heartbreaker in highschool? Oh lord, what have i gotten myself into. Percival, with might and wisdom, guessed that Evie would be rather guilty. After the initial excitement of the flight, their second flight, they recall, they decide to get back to Evie. Though I'd prefer not to, I don't want this coming out badly in the end. Alright... Derrick smiled and made circles around Evie's bellybutton playfully, watching her eyes, and he knew she was tired. Aww, don't mess with the poor girl. Come on, now. No fun tonight! Who said I wanted "fun"? I can't lay in bed with my girlfriend without having sex? Gee Noe.. Evie giggled as Derrick touched her belly button. "stop that tickles..." she said softly, cuddling closer to him. Derrick smiled as Evie curled against him and fell asleep, and with one hand pulled his pants off and slid hers off as well, kissing her forehead and wrapping one arm around her and had one under his pillow. Goodnight, Noe-Doe. Goodnight, Dare-Bear. They both laughed inside their head as they said eachother's nicknames. Noey yawned and curled up in their mind, back-to-back with Derrick before they both fell asleep.

It was late. Evie would be asleep, John thought. He wasn't too sleepy, so he'd stay out. He went, and he flew, just for the hell of it, to the houses of Parliament. they where a gorgeous site, and Percival, who had been an expert in the creation of magic parchment, found it very easy to tweak his ability to forge pound sterling bills. He didn't know or care that this was illegal, nobody ever found out, every last detail was right. So it was, he would spend the night in a 5 star hotel nearby. He would go in the morning, or, if he woke up late, the afternoon, to the Haven, but he would stay here for a night or two, definitely. He was loving the night, and it was the best day, since they got to this century.

'I told you Malakani,' she thought harshly, stressing each syllable of the name with deep loathing, 'I'm not here to learn to like you. I'm here to learn how to shut you up or get rid of you. If the doctors can't help, maybe these people can.'

'That's harsh, love. Just when I thought we were getting somewhere. Come on, don't lie. Something about having me in your head puts a fire in your blood,' replied the dark, sensual voice of Malakani, the Other who was watching with an inward smile as Vanessa put one forward resolutely in front of the other, heading for the room she had been given.

'It's called loathing. Hatred. Disgust. You make my blood boil, Malakani, because I am enraged that something as filthy as the Wyrm has infiltrated my mind. Believe me, if the spirits of the Umbra knew how to get you out, you'd be gone. But my talents cannot seem to rid me of you. We'll see how well theirs do. At the very least, maybe they can keep you from taking over my body. Last Thursday? Never again.'

'But they were delicious...'began the Other before being cut off by Vanessa's shouting.

"SHUT UP!"

For a moment she just stood there, her bags heavy in her hands, her chest rising and falling sharply as she breathed in and out in rapid succession. The hallway was ringing with her furious screech and even Malakani was quiet in her head at the ferocity with which the girl had responded.

Taking a deep breath, Vanessa pushed a few strands of her dark brown hair out of her eyes and let the breath out in a slow, deep sigh. The last month and a half had been very trying on her. Having never been a very patient person to begin with, she found herself even more easily set off now that she had Mal in her head, whispering dark thoughts, jerking her limbs against her will. She felt helpless, and considering everything that had happened to her this year, she was tired of the feeling.

'Let's just find the damn room.'

Sarah Jane and John

Sarah Jane looked up at the sound of footsteps. A rather pretty girl was there. Wearing what appeared to be pajamas. "Um, hi." She cursed herself inwardly, all the languages of the universe before her with millions of greetings and she chose hi. "I'm Sarah Jane Goodwin, not Sarah, not SJ but Sarah Jane. And I'm John." John piped up quite suddenly. Sarah Jane nodded and took control again. "Well, I suppose I'd better find my room then. Pleasant meeting you." She paused as John took control again. "Very sorry about Sarah Jane's rudeness. She's just a bit frosty." Oi! The frosty girl interjected, but grudgingly took control again and sighed. "What's your name?" She asked rather reluctantly. I don't want to make friends, John, I just want to get this over with so I can go back to father! Yes, sweetheart, but making friends will help you. Sarah Jane stretched her fluffy wings and then folded them against her back again. She folded her arms over her chest. John took control yet again and smiled charmingly. "Would you be so kind as to show us where the dorms are? The haven is a really large place and we are tired from travelling." He spoke politely.

Azura & Rose

"Hello Sarah Jane." Azura spoke not letting Rose take over again, not yet anyways. "Hello John"Rose spoke smiling. Rose was about to speak more before John spoke again, but was too slow. "Don't worry about it,"Azura said reassuring John and Sarah Jane that she wasn't offended by Sarah Jane's mood "All of us are a little peeved when we first get here." She smiled and listened to the man speak. "This place is REALLY big,Rose said giggling We'd be happy to show you to the dorms. Just follow us. Azura reached the bottom of the steps and motioned toward the top of the stairs, she laughed a little then pointed to the elevator. "Thankfully the elevator's working. I just don't like going down it at night.... She trailed off her smile fading for moment she looked up letting her mind come back and laughed lightly.
"Want some help with your bags?"

Once they reached the dorms Azura spotted another person, Looks like another new person...I think we should help them too..she looks a little upset.Indeed. Azura looked at the other girl, "Would you like some help deary?" She tried to speak loud enough for the other girl to hear her.

"Here's the dorm, do you happen to know what room you are?" Azura smiled looking back at Sarah Jane.
