Sarah Jane and John Sarah Jane looked rather annoyed at John, who seemed to be glad of the understanding of the two girls. He took control and smiled. "Thank you. Hello, and we are both pleased to meet you, even if some of us don't appreciate the kindness." He said shooting Sarah Jane a reproachful look inwardly. "No thanks, they are quite heavy." John said, referring to the bags and carried them. When they arrived Sarah Jane took control."Yes thank you, everything's fine." She said coldly. John scowled at her. Don't be rude! She's trying to help! Fine, if it'll stop you being annoying! "Thanks again. But I didn't catch your name." She said with a smile plastered on her face. John sighed, but knew now was not the time to confront the girl. He took control. "So, I'm Sarah Jane's other, and I am... well, was a vampire. What about you two?" He asked kindly. |
Azura & Rose "Oops. Sorry, totally forgot to introduce ourselves. I'm Rose" "And I'm Azura, I'm the host and Rose is my Other." Rose popped back, "I'm a human and Azura is a FAIRYYY!!" Rose spoke exictedly, saying faery completely wrong. Azura took over to correct Rose's mistake"Yes, I'm a faery. May I ask a question about you, John?"Azura asked with an inquiring face. |
Sarah Jane and John John looked intruiged at Rose's words. "Well, I'm pleased to meet you both. And of course, Azura. What do you wish to ask?" He said with another dazzling smile. Sarah Jane had decided that the best thing would be simply to stay out of it all, and hope for the best that she could leave soon. I wish I could go back to the TARDIS. She muttered softly. But John knew that she was just moaning because she was scared. So scared. Scared that she would not be accepted because she was an alien. Half a time lord. Fear makes us do terrible things. Sarah Jane sighed inwardly and waited. Waited... |
Azura & Rose Azura's voice was little shaky "Do you drink blood? You don't have to answer it if you don't want to...I'm just a little curious." Rose spoke to Azura inwardly I can't believe you just asked him that, I would do something like that, What's gotten into you?I'm not sure what's wrong with me, I'm just curious. Azura smiled at John and Sarah Jane nervously. "OoO Can I ask a question about Sarah Jane?" Rose popped in trying to make the mood a little less uneasy. |
Derrick & Noelani Derrick woke up to Jade pawing at his face. With a groan he got up and let go of Evie, pulling her away from him. She has a grip, doesn't she? Yeah. I don't want to hurt her, though. Derrick went to the bathroom before pulling on his pants. He grabbed Jade and put her in the tub, stroking her and trying to give her the best bath possible without her mewling and scratching every five seconds. After her bath, he towel dried her, taking time especially on her tail. She flicked her tail in response to him, purring and pushing her head up to his hand as he scratched the top of her head. He went into his room and got her food and milk bowls, bringing them into Evie's room and setting them down for her to eat. He moved over near Evie and pushed her gently. "EVIE, it's Noey! Wakey wakey chocolate shakey~!" Derrick snorted. Why do you insist on making me seem like a childish girl? Because you're a handsome, tall, fairly muscled guy, and it makes it that much more fun. |
Sarah Jane and John John paused for a second. The answer was simple. "Yes. Well, no. Well, not really. No. I could if I wanted to, but I wouldn't want to make Sarah Jane do that." He smiled and was surprised at Rose. Sarah Jane sighed and took control. "Yes, fine... ask away!" She said, sounding a little annoyed. But she knew that she must pull herself together so she tried to smile. She put the bags down and shifted her weight from one leg to the other. She wished that someone could love her for who she was. Not who she pretended to be. |
Johnathan and Percival finally woke up. They where on the bed, their clothes where still intact and beside them. Their staff, sword, and gun where all placed neatly in a corner. Without a scratch.
Although John and Percival where friends, more or less, in mind, in spirit, they where two opposite poles, as on a magnet, coming together. Hard. So when they where drunk, their inhibitions where released, their minds melted down [as with all elves, this happens literally. If so desired, we can say that Noey and the elves she knew are a[n] [d]evolution of what Percy & John where, or maybe not. Anyway..] Their spiirits are the only things left of a drunk elf. The dark elf, Percival, and the light elf Jonathan. He was well worn out after a night of not doing anything. [[ok, I did not feel like contributing to the plot, but there you are, I added something]] |
Evalign & Michaela Evie woke in a gasp, her arms flailing about an accidently punching Derrick in the jaw. Her heart was beating so fast as her eyes looked around the room in fear. Focusing her eyes now saw the blood on derricks face and she covered her mouth as she gasped. "Derrick, Im so sorry!" Nice going Evie. Michi giggled. This is why your mommy never liked waking you up. Oh shush Michi! |
Laughter chimed in the corridor, the chosen vessels and their others flocking to a point in the windowed hallway where excited accents were welcoming a single name: Tina.
It had been months since she was last seen at the Haven, and her warm smiles came with gifts from far away. A messenger bag--its dark material decorated with gold charms and intricate designs of elephants--hung over her shoulder to her hip, slender hands reaching into its confines to withdraw handfuls of sweets and small delicately wrapped presents to hand out. "We missed you!" "Where did you go this time?" "Welcome back!" "Bienvenue!" "Wow this is good!" She saw many familiar faces, blue eyes cheerily greeting them all before reciting their names. Even the new faces, bewildered at the sudden excitement but curious about the girl were given gifts before they departed to other parts of the Haven. "It wasn't that long, was it?" purred Tina, reaching once more into the seemingly bottomless bag to fetch a small box wrapped in comic paper. She turned the box a couple times in her palm, considering for a moment if she shouldn't save the present. No sooner had the thought crossed her mind did she toss it up to a girl nearby, turning her attention back to other familiar faces. Tina was tall for a girl, just becoming a woman at the age of 20. She was pretty by most standards, but would rarely allow comments about her appearance. Waves of red hair were pulled back into a loose and fashionable bun, a braid leading from each side of her head to the back, small wisps of wild curls escaping about her face. Her hands slipped behind her, grasping the edge of the windowsill for support as she relaxed in a lean, dropping her eyes to her boots, the familiar Frye logo peering up at her. She frowned for a brief moment, partly because of the story she was being told and partly because she noticed a scuff on the toe of the slouchy brown boot. Lifting her gaze again, she gave a bubbly laugh, generous lips parting "You didn't! That's godawful!" She could feel a cool draft being so close to a window, her gray sweater providing more warmth than needed indoors. |
Azura & Rose "Oh okay, That's nice of you."Azura said smiling at John. "Can I be your friend?" Rose asked quietly, she loved making new friends, and wanted to be friends with Sarah Jane, but she was a little afraid of being rejected by the girl. Aww. That's nice Rose.I want to be her friend, hope you do too. Rose said smiling inwardly and out towards Sarah Jane and John. "If you don't want to that's fine, it's your choice."Rose smiled hoping to understand Sarah Jane a little more."I'd like to be your friend too, if that's okay." |
Derrick & Noelani Derrick held his jaw and his nose, looking down at Evie. Releasing his jaw, he said, "It's fine, Evie. Just a nosebleed." He got up and went to the bathroom, clogging his nose with a rolled-up tissue. He moved his jaw, deciding it was okay, before moving back near Evie. "Quite a punch, Miss Evalign. What was that dream all about?" Jade hopped up on the bed, pushing her head up against Derrick's hand. "Aww, Jade, don't give me the 'you-love-me-because-I'm-adorable look. You are, but you don't have to do that to get attention," Derrick said, picking up the cat and looking her into her eyes, kissing her nose before putting her down. "But yes, Evie, I'm fine. I've been through way worse, my dear. You don't even know . . But I'm sure you'll understand after I tell my past. I'm not going into detail so don't ask. Things were hard for me back then, and if I go into detail, your manly boyfriend might cry." He smiled at Evie, hoping she understood what he was saying. "Manly? I don't think looking into the mirror and saying 'You're Handsome, you have a nice smile' twenty times is manly, Derrick." Derrick snorted at Noey and turned back to Evie. |
[[change the font color for when each talks as to not cause confusion. >.>]]
Evalign & Michaela Evie blushes at Noey's compliment and rubbed her tired eyes. "My...Father." She sighed and let out a cute yawn before flopping back down on the bed, looking up at Derrick. His past makes him cry? Awww, Evie he's a mushymarshmellow! She let out a giggle as Noey talked about his morning routine. "Well there is no problem with telling yourself the truth every morning." She smiled her dazzling smile up at him and stroked his cheek. |

Derrick & Noelani Derrick blushed. "Thank you." He scratched his head and let himself fall on the bed next to Evie. "It's just the memories of my mother that make me cry. Nothing else, nothing more. Just looking back on how we were poor and she was beaten by my father, while I was out with my friends getting all high and doped up.. I should have taken better care of her." Derrick looked over at her, moving his hair out of the way of his eyes. "Yeah. So anyways, on with the story, you're putting me to sleep. Yawn," Derrick snorted again. "Shut it, Noe. "Anyways. My past.. Like I said, we were poor, so I basically had five outfits that I mitch-matched every week. When my mother went to work and came home with her pay, my father would take it from her and buy cigarettes and alcohol. I think he knew that my so-called friends from middle school would steal from his stash, and that we would go out and party. Every day my mother fell asleep with bruises and nasty cuts, until she finally divorced him and went off to live with my aunt. Over there, they were Jesus freaks. They followed the Bible day and night, and to hell if I ever went over there; it would always end in them locking me in a room, saying that I needed to 'spend some time with the Lord, our God.' "High school, freshman year, when I got all doped up on drugs. I was with the stoners, the group that everyone stayed away from unless you were their lab partner and you absolutely had to communicate with them. I hit on the guys, hit on the girls, messed with them, got dates and had a nice relationship until they dumped me. I just moved on to the next and on, because I had my fellow stoners with me. I felt like those people knew me from the back of my hand. Sophomore year, and I realized they didn't know me at all. Some of them didn't even know my name. They called me 'Ferret' and 'Darwin' and 'Devin' but they never got it right. I didn't care. Junior year and I was experimenting. I'd gone to the hospital several times for the wrong combination of drugs together, but I never died. I dropped out near the end of Junior year. "I'd worked to pay my debt off to the hospital, it was easy. I was a smart kid, had the intelligence to do what I needed, for example, I made the pen. I pick-pocketed and everything, and got myself a run-down apartment, $50 a week. It wasn't hard, until they caught me with drugs and I was kicked out. I was down the alleyways and got knocked out by a gambler who I'd hussled in pool and found out and come to kick my ass. I could have taken him, thing was he'd brought his friends.. And when he woke up, there was a voice in his mind. He'd tried to run and get people to help him, get away from that damned voice telling him to calm down and hush. When he tried to take his pen to his head and his arm stopped an inch away, he'd gasped in horror as he felt his body being taken control of. They'd put him in a straightjacket until they thought the meds had worked; he and the voice had come to an agreement - fake okay, get out, talk about it later. The voice took control of him when he screwed up, and punished him that way. He'd hated not being able to control himself. When he obliged to the voice, he'd realized his life was wrong.. And thanks to my Noey, I'm here now." Derrick finished the story, looking over at Evie and wondered what she would say. He'd realized he'd been holding her hand and stroking his thumb across the back of her hand. He looked up into her eyes and blushed, closing them. [[Gah! I got caught up in the story. XD]] |

((I WILL HOLD OUT! I WILL NOT COPY!!! lol))
Tally and Homany made their way downstairs. It was late once again but neither of them cared. Tally was finally completely awake, right about the time that they should have been heading to bed. Neither of them wanted to do so though so they headed into the kitchen. No one was there. Homany was in control at the moment which explained why they were searching for people. |
Evalign & Michaela As Evie listened her eyes were tearing, mostly because inside michi was crying about how hard Derrick's life was. His poor mommy! She should have punched his daddy! She was a mix of sad and angry. Evie was just...surprised. Derrick looked so, sweet and loving...she could never have imagined he came from such a hard life. As he spoke she let every word sink into her mind, memorizing it, holding onto it. By the time he was finished her cheeks were tear streaked and she leaned up and moved closer to him. Leaning foward she kissed his cheek softly. "Thank you Noey, for bringing him safe ans sound.." |
[[What can I say. I LOVE WRITING. - D; Sorry, Rain dragged me to the store.]]
Derrick & Noelani Derrick held Evie close to him, sitting up. He wiped away her tears with his thumbs, kissing her forehead. No problem, Evie... Noey said softly in her mind, knowing Evie would hear her. She squirmed, feeling Evie's emotions and starting to feel the depth of Derrick's as well. Derrick was trying not to think back to his mother, she could feel that, he wasn't trying to cry in front of Evie. It's fine, Derrick, let it out. You've held it in for too long. She patted his back mentally, and Derrick let a single tear fall before resting his head on top of Evie's, stroking her hair and holding her middle-back. |
Evalign & Michaela Evie felt a single tear hit her cheek and looked up at him. "Derrick.." She said softly and wiped his eye. "You can cry..you need to..i wont think any less.." She kissed him softly, stroking his cheek and the rests her head on his shoulder, letting him hold her. Evie...do you ever think Mommy will leave Daddy like Derrick's did? Evie innerly sighed. I dont know Michi, maybe..i hope so.. |

Vanessa turned to face the two people who had arrived in the hallway where she had just been fighting with Mal. Her face flushed slightly and she tried to relax the muscles that had tensed from her angry outburst. Mal was silent, but she could feel the Other's excitement bubble up. She frowned inwardly.
'Don't even think it.' The girl who had addressed her had bright blue hair, a shade she had only seen on eccentrics and young people, but it looked completely natural on this girl. How odd. Her eyes were a matching shade and caught Nessa's attention easily. The other girl was roughly the same age as the girl beside her in appearance and also had blue hair, but hers was a softer blue that seemed to blend into tones of light green and soft lavender. Her eyes were darker and therefore hard to distinguish with so much distance between them. She inhaled deeply, catching their scents off the air. Not human. That was fine by her though. She set her bags down and put her right hand over her heart, crouching down and putting her left palm flat on the ground between her legs, inclining her head at the two ladies in her traditional respectful greeting. She slowly rose to her feet, letting both hands fall to her sides. "Hello. Um, if you could just point me in the direction for room G33, I would be very grateful. I must have gotten myself turned around from the directions they gave me. The people at the front desk seemed a little preoccupied." 'Oh don't act like you aren't curious, darling, do ask about him. That girl's Other said he was a vampire. I know you're dying to know. Go on, ask. Go on. Go on.' 'Be quiet, Mal. I don't want to know. I'm not here to make friends.' 'No, you're here to get rid of me. Good luck with that.' Vanessa cringed as she felt Mal take hold of her limbs. She twitched, her face tightened and stressed, like she had a bad headache, and she clenched her fists. She was gritting her teeth, her dark eyes flashing dangerously before she squeezed them shut, trying to focus on keeping control. 'I'm warning you, Malakani...don't-' She didn't get to finish that thought, however, because at that moment, Malakani had managed to break through and seize control of the body. Her muscles relaxed and a wicked smile passed over her lips. As she opened her eyes, they glinted a sharp absinthe green, quite different from Vanessa's earthy brown eyes. 'Just sit tight, girly. I just want to stretch my legs.' 'They're my legs,' replied Vanessa in a thought that was seething with anger. With nothing more than an inward shrug, Malakani faced the two girls again, smile in place, green eyes glinting mischieviously. "Mmm, yes, hello dollies. Or maybe not so much. Vanessa tells me you're both a special breed now, aren't you? Do tell, do tell. I just love meeting new people," she said with a silky voice that nevertheless could put a person's neck hairs on end. Something about her smile made the nerves tingle; it looked so unnatural on Vanessa's face, which was more likely to be laughing or sending a glowering look at someone who was ticking her off. This sly, wicked smile was completely out of place among such soft features. |
Azura & Rose "I believe that room is that way." Azura said pointing to the left of the dorms. Stopping for moment to listen to what the other girl said Azura listened closely , it was a man speakingMust be her other...Mhm...Rose said agreeing. She took over and spoke first "I'm human and my name's Rose, I'm Azura's other." Azura's eyes went from red to blue, Azura taking control. "And I am Azura, I'm a faery" She said smiling, putting her wings out for moment to show the new person. "What's your name, what are you?Rose asked inquiring excitedly. |
Malakani chuckled, rolling her wrists, stretching her arms above her head. She took her time getting used to being in control again before she addressed the girl who had revealed a pair of wings. This definitely piqued the girl's interest, so she made sure to put her focus on the faery, even though she was dying to know more about her fellow vampire. "Mmmm, those look lovely, but do they work? Can you fly?" 'Should we find out?' she thought with a deep inner chuckle. She could tell by the flutter of rage that this thought had provoked Vanessa, who was already lashing out with a harsh, furious thought. 'Don't you DARE, Malakani, or so help me, I will have them put you in another body just so I can tear you apart!' 'So violent. And what would you do when you realize you just killed an innocent, hm? Or maybe you really are warming up to me, hm?' The girl's scoff sounded in Malakani's head, unspoken words in volumes in such a simple noise. 'Don't be daft. I'd put you in a criminal. Or better yet, another soulless vampire like you. Surely a vampire's body can contain two soulless entities. Not like they would take up room,' she thought harshly at the Other. 'Sticks and stones, love, and let's not forget who's in charge here.' She brought her hand up to run her fingers through her hair, a gesture Vanessa hated because her hair was her one pride; she didn't like Malakani touching it through her body. But then, if Malakani had her own body, she wouldn't want her touching her hair through that either. "My name is Malakani, faery-girl, and like our gender-trapped friend, I'm a vampire." She gestured towards the girl with the light blue-lilac hair who seemed less than thrilled to be meeting new people. Mal's eyes were glinting, looking both young women over. "And Rose is your Other? A human? How interesting," she said, the smile even more unnerving as she ran her tongue over the edges of her teeth, lamenting the lack of her long canines. Still, she'd make due in a pinch. 'NO!' Vanessa thought forcefully, wrenching control of her body away from Malakani who, not expecting Vanessa to emerge so fully from her quiet, found her consciousness stumbling back into the corner of their mind, floating around outside the body's control. "I-I'm sorry," she stammered, bending over and breathing heavily, as if she had been running for miles and only now had a chance to catch her breath. Sweat was beading on her forehead and her shoulders and legs trembled. Every muscle ached from the non-consensual transitions. Losing and gaining control always tired her; it was a fight every time. "Please, ignore Malakani. It's not supposed to break my control, but sometimes I can't help it. It has a strong will." She bowed low, hanging her head in shame at herself for letting her weakness be exploited by the foul consciousness of her Other, writhing in her head. |
Sarah Jane and John Sarah Jane couldn't say that she was ready for this. But something about that little girl warmed the cockles of her heart. "Well, alright." She said, trying to make her voice sound cool, but a little bit of colour streamed into her face. But then came a voice. A voice that made a shiver go up her spine and she turned round to face the girl. "I suppose you should talk to John." She said softly, and let the control slip away to John who had been raging in her head. "It's been a while since someone has said no to you hasn't it? I don't care what games you are playing, but not with us, if you please." He said. almost kindly but it sounded threatening. Sarah Jane let John go back gently and stood in front of Azura, like a shield. "Leave them alone. While my heart still beats I will not let you get to them." Sarah Jane stretched her own large wings and spread them, feathers pointing outwards like knives. "Do not test me. I have fought with beings from other galaxies. Seen things that you could not imagine! I don't want to be your enemy, I just want you to know that I will not tolerate any violence. Especially not towards my friends!" As the other girl came back, Sarah Jane folded her wings in and approached her, looking concerned. "I doubt that she's had enough even for today. Here, look at this." She pulled something from a pocket. It looked slimey and she looked at it, surprised. "Wrong thing." She chucked it away and then gave up. "But believe me, your Other is never allowed to find out what I am." She said seriously. |
[imgright]http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m44/Kasumi_Makoto/Rp%20Characters/VanessaSwayHomidCrinosResized.jpg[/imgright]Even as the man's presence came and went, Vanessa felt her muscles tense against her will. This was not Malakani this time, however, but the werewolf blood in her responding to what she knew dwelt in that young girl. She tried to shake the feeling. Every instinct told her to strike down the Wyrm, but her mind knew better. He didn't drink. He wasn't a threat. He didn't harm the humans. There was no need for his blood. With a few deep breaths, she calmed herself and stared instead into the deep, calming blue eyes of the young woman before her.
Tears began welling in Vanessa's eyes. She felt exhausted and frustrated. Every day was a battle and now Mal was already causing trouble. She wiped at her face, furious for her weakness. She was better than this. She shouldn't let emotion control her. "Y-yes...I'm sorry. Believe me when I say I do not wish for it to get out any more than you. I hate to think of the things it has done through me. That is why I am here. They must have a way for me to get rid of this curse." As she spoke, her voice strengthened with resolve. She had to find a way. She couldn't live with this...this unnaturalness...inside her. 'Unnaturalness? And who are you to talk, little lycan? You are just as unnatural. You do not belong on this earth. Why do you think silver repels you? One of nature's purest metals, and you can't even stand its touch. You are just as unnatural as me.' 'But I don't drink the blood of children. I don't slaughter the innocent, the helpless. My life is not sustained through the death of others. I'm not like you, Malakani, not at all. It's not for me to make the world a better place for myself. I am charged with upholding the balance. So know your place, filth. You may wake one morning and find yourself extinct.' She tried to steady the tremors going through her body; she knew she had to sit down and regain some of her strength, or else Mal would take advantage of her weakness and break through again. Even if she wasn't in control, it didn't mean this woman before her would not strike her down to save the life of her friend. She was no fool; she would do the same, rather than risk having a dangerous vampire loose. |
