Evie turned around and pointed to the dressing room. "Just try it on. You might be surprised and like them." She rolled her eyes, ignoring Johnny's comment and rifled through the girls shirts with Rain. She was still offended and glanced in a nearby mirror to look at her dress again. Its really not that bad...John just is judgemental i guess. She sighed, knowing he wasnt very social and she was probably being over dramatic..but he said i looked slutty! how can i not take offence...? |
John genuinely felt bad. He didn't mean to offend her. He was just saying what's on his mind. If anyone needs to speak to me, they'll do it through you, Percival. they agreed. Percival would be the voice and filter of John from now on.
They went into the dressing room and tried on the clothes. These are much more comfortable than my old clothes.and they take about a minute to put on! John was quite happy with the change, and he looked forward to being looked at as a normal denizen of London. He folded his clothes, on the strap on his back where he carried angelsbane, and his staff. and he went out. |
Evie turned to the man as he walked out. "Well?, Was the "slutty" attire of our time beffiting to you?" She said and grabbed the clothes from his strap, ready to bring them to the register since she had read his mind and already knew the answer. I bet he looked good... Michi said shyly, imagining the clothes on the man. |
He handed her the clothes, "They are awesome, John says. I quite agree."

Evie glanced over to the man. "So does the man have money?" She raised an eyebrow and gestured to the register as she leaned on the counter and waited for them. Suddenly something clicked in her head and she walked over to the shoe rack, motioning the man towards her. "We need to get you shoes." Randomly she looked at shoes, stopping on some basic black skater shoes and picking them up. After grabing some test socks she handed the shoes to Perc. "On." Michi came forth only to grab some rainbow checkered converse. "Evie can we get these? they're only 20$." Sighing Evie agreed. "Fine" She brought them to the register, the casheir holding onto Perc's clothes along with her shoes. |

Evie sighed. "I'll pay for today. Just try on the shoes.." She walked over to the register and paid for the clothes and her shoes. "I'll give you the shoes if he likes them" The clerk nodded, business was slow and he didnt mind. "Its fun to watch him become modernized." he added with a wink. Evie let out a laugh as she gave him the money, glancing at man she left by the shoes. "Yeah it is.." [[ahhhhok :P]] |
Thank you, but I like my old shoes. Percival just wore went barefoot all the time, Jonathan figured that ancient elf shoes would be the equivalent of modern high end shoes.

very well John was thinking the same thing as Evie. But he tried the shoes on, they certainly went along a lot better with what everyone else wore, and with what he was about to wear. Very well, I'll take them He'd keep his old shoes and clothes handy though, and certainly wouldn't let go of his staff or sword. But maybe his gun.

Evie nodded and glanced at the cashier. "Add those to the bill." she said with a laugh. He did so and handed her the recipt, his number was scratched on the bottom in black pen and he winked at her. Michi innerly giggled. Evies got a crusshhhh. Evie laughed. Shush Michi, he's cute but i dont know.. She smiled, sliding the recipt into her dress pocket. Handing her the bags he said "Have a nice day." Grinning she replied "We will." She grabbed the bags and took the shoes from John, placing them in the bag. She turned around to find Rain and smiled. "You buying anything, Love. Or are you ready to leave?" |
"no, I think I'm good. He said, headed for the door. Perhaps he would be one of the eccentric people of London, with a charcoal colored face and ears that stick out like levers...Neither would mind.

[awesome, will you use a regular map of london, or a map for Otherland (or whatever you call it) that is ooriginal? Because even if you post a regular London map, you'd have to make some changes to it.. right?]
