Hunter headed downstairs to make breakfast, with Snowflake in tow. Hunter made scrammbled eggs with biscuts and bacon. John came downstairs with a smile on his face. "Good morning my beautiful family"

lilly came down with messy hair and playfully told john to " shut up sunshine"

Hunter looked over at John. "And why are you so happy?" "He has a girlfriend!" Snowflake teased. "Hey that's enough" Hunter shoved some bacon in her mouth, and set the table. "John, I need to talk with you in private" John and hunter went in to the living room.

Lilly ate her food while trying her best to listen to what hunter was saying with out them knowing

Hunter put his hand on John's shoulder. "Why are you so happy?" "Dad, you how you first saw Lilly and knew she was your mate? Well, I feel the same about Sky. She is my mate." Hunter nodded silently. "Are you sure? Finding a mate isn't something that just happens. It took me 500 years to find Lilly, I don't want to see you get hurt." "Dad, I have never been more sure about anything in my life." "Ok. But don't try and force anything on her. Let her take her time. She'll let you know when she wants to be your mate for life." Father and son hugged.

Lilly ate all her food and washed the dishes making it all clean

Hunter and John came back in and ate their breakfast. They cleaned their dishes, and John got ready for school. Hunter kissed Lilly goodbye as Snowflake looked up at them. "By mommy Lilly! By big brother!"

" bye honey we will be back later" Lilly left with hunter to school

After Lilly and John left, Snowflake approached Hunter. "Daddy, I want to play" "Ok, lets play tickle machine" Hunter went into wolf mode and staarted tickleing Snowflake with his nose. "If you want me to stop, you have to find the button!" Snowflake kept smacking Hunter, trying to find the button. At school, John approached Sky in the hallway. "Sky, can we talk for a moment?"

Sky looked up at him and smiled kindly " sure whats up john?"

"Sky, I'm sure you know all about werewolves finding mates for life. Well, I believe that you are meant to be my mate."
Snowflake continued to chase Hunter. "C'mon, find the button!" Snowflake stopped. "Daddy I don't feel good." "What's the matter sweetheart?" "My tummy hurts." Snowflake then threw up on the carpet. Hunter went back to human form and felt her face. "Oh my, your burning up." Hunter tucked Snowflake into bed, and cleaned up the carpet.

Sky blushed a bit " I umm do not know what to say but i have no thoughts in finding a mate i am still young i am sorry john"

John rememberd his father's words. "That's ok, I understand." John went outside and sat on a bench, tears running down his face.
Hunter brought Snowflake up a cup of ginger ale. "Drink this Sweetie, it will help your stomach." Snowflake laped up the ginger ale slowly. "You ate something slowly, you really are sick." "Hey! cough cough"

Lilly went out side and saw him crying she ran down the steps of the school and hugged her son " honey what's wrong i am here?" lilly hugged him tightly

John chocked back the tears. "She said no Lilly, She said no. I was so sure Sky was my mate." He hugged Lilly back, still crying.
Hunter took Snowflakes tempature. "102. You are burning up." "I want mommy Lilly cough cough" "Mommy is at school, she'll be home soon. Don't worry, I won't leave your side."

" honey she is not ready that doesn't mean she is not your mate " Lilly hugged him and pulled him to his feet " i am sure she will be with you in no time just give her time " lilly kissed his cheek and pulled him home

Hunter was cooking chicken noodle soup when Lilly and John came home. Hunter kissed Lilly. "Hey honey, Snowflake is sick with the flu. She's up in her room." He went over to John. "So, how did it go?" John just shhok his head. Hunter hugged his son. "It'll be alright. In time she will be ready. Don't ever give up." "Thank you dad."

Lilly ran up stairs " oh honey daddy told me everything how are you feeling sweet heart " lilly kissed her head

"Not good Cough cough" Hunter came up with some chicken noodle soup. "Here, eat this." Snowflake ate slowly, only finishing half the bowl. "I feel sick again" Hunter grabbed Snowflake and rushed her to the bathroom. etting there just in time as she threw up in the toilet.

" oh my we need to get her to a doctor fast honey?" lilly looked at hunter with worry in her eyes

"I don't think a doctor knows how to cure a magical talking wolf." John came upstairs. "Here, give her to me" Hunter handed Snowflake to John, who cradled her in his arms. "I know a song that my mother sang to me when I was sick" John sang a soothing song in french, which helped Snowflake fall asleep.

" oh john that was wonderful" Lilly smiled at him cheerfully

"Thanks" John said with a blush. "Why don't you two head on to bed. I'll stay up and keep an eye on Snowflake" Hunter said. He tucked Snowflake back into bed.

lilly kissed john on the cheek and kissed snowflake " i am going to sleep next to you that wayyou do not have to wonder where i am" lilly smiled at hunter as well

John kissed Snowflake and went off to bed. Hunter stayed awake all night, genty petting Snowflake as she shiverd and had a cold sweat. "Come on you little furball, you can fight this" He whisperd as she slept next to Lilly.
