Ava laughed at her husband. It was just so different seeing the strong leader behaving as such. Ava loved seeing this side though. It was a side only she got to see most of the time. Ava slid a hand through Shaun's hair. "I wonder if the baby will be a Jason or Sara"

Shaun stood up. "Just as long as it has your Beauty." He kissed Ava loveingly.

Ava smiled at him, Kissing him back and wrapping her arms around his waist. "You too sweet"

"Because you complete me" Shaun braught Ava to the bed, and they snuggled all night long. Shaun was the happiest he had ever been.

Ava rested her on the usual spot on Shaun's chest. Listening to his heartbeat. Happy as she ever could be. Ava fell asleep instantly. Her body was just worn down way too easily these days.

Shaun awoke the next morning, careful not to wake Ava. He went to the main lab where the scientist put him a cockpit simulater. He was testing a new control system that read the pilots thoughts.

Ava woke up as Shaun left. She got dressed into a dark purple summer dress. Her doctor told he to meet with the doctor here ASAP. After some searching, Ava headed down to the medical bay. She had to wait a while, but she saw the doctor soon enough. They spoke for awhile, and he decided he wanted to give her an Ultra Sound. Just so he knew what was going on. She got all set up and watched the screen. The doctor watched also and smiled. "It appears you will be having twins Mrs. Worthington. Boy and girl" Ava gasped and laid her head back. "Shaun should be glad" She replied. He cleaned her up, and helped her off the table. Handing her a summery of the check up for Shaun. Ava headed to the Caf to get something to eat. Though, looking at some of the food, she felt a bit sick. Some of the smells were getting to her.

After spending all day testing the new piloting system, Shaun went looking for Ava. He asked around, and found her in the caffeteria. "So what did the doctor say?"

Ava jumped as he snuck up behind her. She turned, holding her heart. Smiling at him. "I'll tell you later. When we are alone my dear"

"Alright, sorry to spooke you like that." Shaun and Ava had dinner, then went back to the room. "So, what do you want to tell me?"

Ava sat on the bed, kicking off her shoes and resting her feet. "The baby is now babies. We are going to have a little boy and a little girl Shaun" Ava said rubbing her stomach.

Shaun got on his knees. "Thats wonderful! We're going to have a boy and a girl. This is great!" He gently rested his head against Ava's stomach, listening to the dual heartbeats. He smiled so hard it hurt.

Ava intertwined her fingers with Shuans. She looked down, watching him listen. A complete look of relaxation came over her face. "I wonder how big I will get.." She said to herself, but to Shaun also. "You are going to be a great father."

"And your going to be a great mother." Shaun kissed Ava and sat next to her. "This is going to be great to be a family."

Ava kept her eyes on her stomach. "We will be.. I hope the war calms down by the time they are born... I know that will not happen though." Ava laid her head on his shoulder. Closing her eyes.

Shaun layed back with Ava still resting on his shoulder. He fell asleep. Tomorrow he was testing a new weapon for the Rex.

Ava tucked Shaun in as he fell asleep. Kissing him softly on the lips before going into the bethroom. Ava ran a hot bath and got in. Sprawling herself out in the large tub. She made sure to stay as quiet as possible to not wake Shaun.

Shaun woke up some time later and saw Ava in the tub. "I have to report for testing, I'l be back later, ok babe?" Shaun got dressed and headed outside where the Rex standing. Shaun got in the cockpit and was told he would be fireing a sub-zer gun. A weapon the flash froze an enemy to absolute zero. Shaun armed the weapon, which was located in the chest of the Rex, and fired at the target. The target froze, then shatterd like glass.

"Okay" Ava said. She got out after a while and decided to go visit Shaun. She went down to the secret wing and got through without much hassel. She was told to stand behind a barrier 500ft even after the scientists and their location. They assured her only because of the babies. Ava saw the blast and watched in awe. Something like that was rare to see. The Empire was not going to like Rex any more than they did before. Still, it worried Ava. Could they be building one of their own?

Shaun test fired two more shots. He was told that was enough testing for the day. He left the the cockpit and made his way down, where he saw Ava. Shaun rushed over to her. "Hey babe, how are you feeling?" Shaun kissed her and gently placed his rbotic hand on her belly, felng the twins kick.

"Alright. My back hurts a bit today, but that is normal." She told him while receiving the kiss. Ava put both hands on her stomach as the twins kicked. "Settle down you two. You hurt mommy earlier" She laughed a bit. "Rex is something. Makes me feel sorry for those on the other end of that gun."

Shaun looked up at the Rex. "Yeah he's something. Most powerful mech in the world. Powerd by a fusion reactor. Being in that thing makes you feel indestructible." Shaun put his arms around Ava. "But it doesn't make feel loved."

Ava smiled at Shaun, "That is my job" She gave him a hug then noted the faces of a few men in the area. They seemed a bit uncomfortable. "I should probably let you get back to work honey."

Shaun gave Ava a kiss. "Ok, I'll see you at dinner." Shaun went back to the Rex, needing to test out the rest of the weapons.

Ava left and went back to the room. feeling exhausted already. She turned some light music on and laid down in their bed.
