The Doctor shook his head. "Cure is not the right word. It is her own health problem, probably just from her career over the years. We could deliver the babies now, but it would be far too earily for them. In the mean time, I would try to keep her calm. Bed rest is a must. Call me if anything strange happens. Headaches, blurred vision, there is a small list on the report.... Oh, and I did not tell Ava any of this So you may need to make something up. It is up to you. Good Day Sir" The doctor said before turning to leave. Ava was in the room now. Still in bed. She had a book now though. Showing she had gotten up.

Shaun knelt down beside Ava and brushed her hair. "The doctor says all you need is bed rest. So no more coming to see me when I'm at testing, ok?" Shaun gave her a kiss.

"Is something going to happen to me Shaun?" Ava asked him. She had seen the doctor's face, and needing to speak with Shaun privately was never really a good thing.

"No, of course not. You just need to relax and stay off your feet. The doctor ust wanted to know how my new arm and eye were working. That's why he asked to see me in private." Shaun got up and went to the phone. "I'm going to order us up some dinner. Remember, your eating for three now" Shaun said with a smile.

Ava looked at him for a second. "I see. That is good. You have been doing great." She watched him move to the phone. The babies woke up and started to kick again. Creating what seemed to be a small earthquake in her stomach. "Can we get something chocolate?" Ava asked as her cravings kicked in a bit.

"Sure." Shaun orderd some chocolate cake. Dinner arrived and Shaun pulled up a chair to the bed so he could eat next to Ava. "So are you feeling any better?"

Ava finished the meal before Shaun for a change. She was starving, even sleeping through breakfast. "I am feeling better" Ava said taking a small bite of the chocolate cake. "Do you think we could go out for a walk?" Ava asked him. Knowing the probable answer.

Shaun kept thinking about what the doctor said. He didn't want to take any chances. "Sorry, your still under orders to stay in bed."

"Alright" Ava said a bit saddened. She looked up at Shaun and smiled though, sinking back down into the sheets. "How was your mission?"

Shaun grabbed Ava's hand. "I was a one man army. The Rex is more powerful than the lasttime I used it, which was to save you" He said with a smile.

"I barely remember that day. Everything just seems to be a big blur." Ava said looking at him. "You should have seen that man's face when you first struck. I thought he was going to cry" Ava said with a small laugh.

Shaun also gave out a small laugh. "Whenever I'm on a mission, all I can think about is you." Shaun kissed Ava loveingly.

"Whenever your away, I can't help but to always watch a clock." Ava told him, Kissing him back. Loving the way he tasted. Ava wrapped her arms around Shaun's neck. Hugging him slightly before letting go of him. "I feel bad... You always seem to have to take care of me now" She said rubbing her stomach.

Shaun also rubbed Ava's stomach. "I don't mind. Besides, you've given me a great gift, a family."

The babies started to kick as Shaun touched her stomach. They were very strong for their size. "They always start to kick when you are close"

Shaun smiled. He bent down to Ava's stomach. "Settle down you two. You'll enter the world soon enough."

Ava smiled at her husband, reaching down to stroke his cheek. "They are going to be little troublemakers. Just wait" Ava told him.

"They're going to make us both proud." Shaun layed down next to Ava.

"They will" Ava said as she watched Shaun lay next to her. Settling in for the night. "You deserve a long sleep my love. I can not wait for you to have your next day off." Ava whispered to Shaun.

Shaun slept deeply. He dreamed of his future family, living in peace.

Ava feel asleep soon after Shaun. Though not very well. She kept waking up every half and hour or so from the babies kicking her. At one point Ava looked to the clock to see it was three am.

Shaun woke up, seeing that Ava was having trouble. He got up and went over to the phone. He made a call and then looked back at Ava. "I equested the day off to be with you today. Do yo need me to get you something?"

Ava gave Shaun a kiss as he got up. Though she was surprised to see him go to the phone. "They usually quiet down after a while. So restless.." Ava said to him.

Shaun layed back down next to Ava. "They're fighters, just like their mother." He said with a smile.

"They are. I wish we could do more today... together" Ava said sitting up. Supporting herself with her hands behind her back.
