"You're right. I am a shady kind of guy. But the kid's done nothing to me, so I won't off him. I'm not some kind of senseless serial killer. I'm a business man with standards." He says, laughing quietly to himself. "I figured you were a necromancer after the comment about me being dead. It's not hard to figure out." He answers, then laughs that empty, hollow laugh again as she tells him the 'any more' line. "You're funny, girl. And slightly ignorant too. I've killed people in ways you can't fathom, from tearing their heart out with my bare hands to slitting their throat and smashing their windpipe, and you think I'd get disgusted with whatever secrets you have?" He seems to be a bit offended as he stands up again, leaning against the wall. "Let's get one thing straight girl, none of your secrets could possibly offend or disgust me or cause me to do anything more than laugh." He says, his voice seemingly light-hearted though his words are morbid and dark. "But it you don't want to tell me, that's fine. I'll respect that decision."

Kry 01-09-2010 07:14 AM

Once again, Lark was shrugging. A business man with standards..that brought a slight smile to those pale lips. That tongue peeking out to lick those pale lips when he spoke of the ways he had killed people. Another shrug and then that voice was on the air again. "To be honest with you..I'm disgusted with myself anyway...and...other than being a Necromancer, I'm not entirely sure what I am anymore." ...She...looked at him, those reddish eyes swirling with several different emotions. "..I do know..I'm very lonely.." For a moment, a hint of lust was in those eyes, but only a moment and then it was gone, and that head was turned away from him, once more looking over the interior of the nearly empty place.

Sugiza 01-09-2010 07:27 AM

If the shapeshifter catches that hint of lust, he certainly doesn't show it as he sits back down. "Very well, I won't pry." He says, putting his feet up on the table. "Yes, you are lonely. As am I. As I have been for a long time." He says, his voice cool and calm, not letting the slightest hint of emotion escape. "And you get used to it after a while. And it's not so bad, perhaps." He stretches back, resting his head on the wall behind him. "I won't pretend to not want to satisfy your urges, but I also know that it'll end in nothing but regret. As it always has." He says, making the connection with what the girl is saying and her general mannerisms. But he says nothing more, offering no further insight to the girl's comment or secret, appearing not to care very much.

Kry 01-09-2010 07:36 AM

Lark had shivered slightly from his indifferance. He said it would end in regret, that got another shrug from the Necromancer, and a slight frown. "Everything ends in regret.." White teeth gently biting down on that pale bottom lip and a deep breath was taking. "It's alright though...You wouldn't like me anyway....I'm not a girl anyway..I like to pretend." Those eyes gleamed a bit, mischeviously with the half truth that left those lips. "Just to see how close I can get and how far they'll go."

Sugiza 01-09-2010 07:45 AM

"Again. I don't care." He says, pushing his glasses up. "I could not care less of your gender. As a shifter, such material things make no difference to me." Mikhail sits up, yawning again. "You do a good job of hiding your gender, though. Had me fooled for a good while." He smiles mischievously. "Perhaps we're more alike than I originally thought, Lark." He stands up, obviously restless as the light in the inn seems to grow a bit brighter as he laughs in earnest. "Well, my offer still stands. I may be single but a night with a charming stranger couldn't hurt as long as it doesn't go past that point." Interestingly enough, he seems to contradict what he said previously with that sentence, though he seems to remain indifferent.

Kry 01-09-2010 07:55 AM

So, Mikhail didn't care about..her..gender. A slight shake of the head. "It isn't so simple as just hiding my gender...I'm not a girl..but I'm not a boy.." A slight frown, a slight hesitation. "I'm...a bit..of both.." A tense body, Mikhail had stood now and Lark was yelling on the inside. Things that didn't get told to people were being told right now, in this empty place to a strange. A shady man that was a ruthless killer..well..that part wasn't really anything to be concerned about, just, the part were all the secrets seemed to be slipping from those lips. A sigh and those reddish eyes closed tightly. "......"

Sugiza 01-09-2010 08:04 AM

"You say that like it matters." Mikhail pushes his glasses up once more, habitually. "A rarity to be sure, but again, you misunderstood me. I do not care about your gender. Such things do not matter to shifters such as myself. Especially when--" His form begins to shift, grow more feminine as he develops a chest and curvy hips, and his voice gets lighter. And in a few seconds, an attractive female version of the man stands in the same position. "--I can do this. You find yourself honestly not caring about gender when you can switch at will." She says, looking down at her curvy, lithe body and smiling.

Kry 01-09-2010 08:12 AM

Those eyes opened when Mikhail spoke again. So then, the shapeshifter really didn't care? The man seemed to be so indifferent and uncaring in general and for a moment Lark wondered if there was anything Mikhail actually cared about..other than, wanting to hunt someone down for whatever reason..Reddish eyes had widened only slightly when Mikhail's form changed, lips quirking up into a smile. "A very attractive form..but..now I don't know if I like the other one better or this one.." Lark's eyes roamed up and down the female Mikhail's body for a few moments, lingering here and there almost long enough to be considered rude.

Sugiza 01-09-2010 08:17 AM

"Well, that's great. I'm glad you like it." Mikhail chuckles as her body begins to become more masculine, once again shifting to the male form. But said form is noticeably more attractive than it was before, perhaps a side effect from the gender transfer or maybe a subconscious change. "Unfortunately, I must stick to this form, as walking around with added weight--" he gestures to his chest and his butt, which are normal now. "--screws me up in combat." He grins mischievously as he sits back down, pushing his glasses up yet again. "So, are you convinced now? Your secret is out but it doesn't matter to one such as I. Perhaps that's why I always seem to stay away from your humans; because you're not as we are."

Kry 01-09-2010 08:31 AM

Lark was chewing that bottom lip a bit thoughtfully, eyes not leaving Mikhail for a moment, though. The Necromancer seemed to be thinking something over. "Mikhail...What form is your true form?" A simple question, and asked with an odd tone, as if...she...didn't really expect an honest answer. Lark had...her...own reasons for wanting to know. For the most part it was just simple curiousity.

Sugiza 01-09-2010 08:36 AM

"Well, if I told you this one, I would be lying." The shifter grins, closing his eyes. "My true form is none. Shifters are whatever they want themselves to be." He says, pushing his glasses up, deciding on something. "I'm going to go to sleep. I have someone to catch tomorrow." He stands up and waves dismissively to Lark. "It was great talking to you. Not often you meet someone who doesn't judge, eh?" He laughs hollowly yet again and walks around to the stairs and up them without another word.

[[Sorry for the abrupt end, cannot continue this much longer as I must sleep.]]

Kry 01-09-2010 08:44 AM

"...Oh..." Lark frowned slightly. Somehow that answer seemed, hollow..sad almost. At least to the Necromancer, though the reason why it seemed sad, Lark had yet to work that much out. Now Mikhail was going, well, going to rest. He would still be in the building. Lark was on....her...feet in a moment, that staff gripped tightly with both hands. "I..I could..still keep you company..." A slight blush colored those pale cheeks. "We don't have to do anything..really..but. Just having someone, so close, in the same bed..is a comfort all it's own....isn't it?" Boots making soft clicking noises as the Necromancer followed Mikhail without really waiting for an answer.

][That's fine. I need to go to bed eventually too. heh.][

Sugiza 01-09-2010 04:04 PM

Mikhail looked back and shrugged. "If you want." he replied before opening the door to his room and stepping inside, having been in the inn for awhile. That night, he didn't do anything in particular to the Necromancer, nothing worth mentioning; no advancements or anything, but the bed was unusually small for two people and as such they slept close together. Finally, the sun beamed in the window as Mikhail opened his eyes, another day arriving too soon. He sits up and yawns, putting his sunglasses on right away.

Kry 01-11-2010 06:59 AM

Lark had smiled faintly, following Mikhail into the room. That staff with the glowing crystal was laid on the floor near the bed, the glow of the crystal dimming some but not going out completely. The Necromancer slid into the bed next to Mikhail, snuggling up close to him and drapping an arm around him. No advancements were made, just innocent closeness. Lark slept rather peacefully until the sun rose, the light filtering through the window causing the Necromancer the shift a bit in the bed and those reddish eyes slowly opened. "G'mornin." The words were spoken, laced with sleep, when that gaze landed on Mikhail.

Sugiza 01-11-2010 07:02 AM

"Good morning." Mikhail says, smiling [?!] at Lark, the sunlight filtering through his hair and giving it that lighter-outline effect. He begins his routine of pushing up his glasses as he looks down at 'her' arm across him. "Erm...are you planning to let go of me soon, or..." He pauses, searching for the words. "Do you want to stay like this for a little while longer?" He smiles, shaking his head a bit. "I mean...I don't mind. Really, it's nice to have someone close to me again. I missed the feeling more than I realized."

Kry 01-11-2010 07:13 AM

The Necromancer scooted even closer to Mikhail until...she...was very nearly in his lap. Larks head resting against Mikhail's chest and that arm still around him somewhat, nuzzling him slightly. "Nn..Comfy." Those reddish hues fluttered for a moment. Completely closing as a soft sound of contentment left those pale lips, then those eyes half opened and..she..nuzzled against him again. Apparently, Lark had no intention of getting up yet, or letting go of Mikhail.

eli walked into the building her hair was in a ponytail she knew their was a necromancer right away it was like a conection when you were dead but well she didnt care all she cared about was stoping for a moment she had been walking for a month straight. she stoped and pulled up a chair close to the fireplace watching the fire burn and well she began to humm the song only she and the necromancer could hear the song of the dead she loved that song it brought out the best in the dead people around her and well whenever she wanted to find more of the people like her she just hummed that song. pulling out a book from the purse she had she began to read and humm at the same time it was actually a old book from the time she was alive a long long long time ago "i wonder when the necromancer will come see me i know he or she will wonder what i am soon enough."

Sugiza 01-11-2010 02:06 PM

"I see." He responds, putting an arm around her, closing his eyes and laying his head back on the pillow. A soft smile tinges at the corner of his mouth again as he pulls her closer, against him. A thought crosses his mind and he acts on it, shifting her head off of him slightly and giving her a soft kiss on the lips before letting her continue snuggling against him.

Kry 01-11-2010 07:49 PM

Lark's body tensed, the arm around Mikhail tightening a bit. Something in the back of...her...mind..no..not in the back of...her...mind, but in..her..ears. Sounding far away and yet close at the same time. There was something downstairs, though before the Necromancer could have another thought, Mikhail's lips were pressed against..her..own pale lips. Lithe body relaxed considerably into the kiss, when he pulled away Lark frowned slightly and..her..body tensed again. A mumbled whisper. "....Something's downstairs.....I can hear it.." Lark was in no particular hurry to go and see what might be downstairs.

eli was reading and knew that she was going to ave to try hard to get on this persons good side since she knew that with one turn that the person she could be introuble and well she liked her life to well she even had to die to live again. she looked up at the fire and saw that their was something in their it looked to be shiney but she couldnt be sure so she just stuck her hand in were she thought the thing was and picked up a nail she giggled "just a nail." looking around she quickly took her arm out and looked at it the skin was now chared but was already healing and turning a pink like a slight sunburn. she began to giggle it tickled her alittle to be healed. she looked at the skin that was now healed and smiled sometimes death was better then life in many ways and since she wasnt made of skin she was made of clay she had it easier to heal herself.

Sugiza 01-12-2010 03:12 AM

Mikhail...smiles at her again? "If it bothers you....I can go check for what it is, Lark." He whispers to her, a hand slowly running through her hair, eyes searching for a facial reaction. He smiles at her, telling that she enjoyed the kiss from her reactions. "And...when I get back, would you like to continue?" A mischievous, expectant smile, like one of a predator after it's found it's prey.

Kry 01-12-2010 04:15 AM

Lark's arm tightened around Mikhail when he mentioned going down to see what it was. "...No...It's something I will have to face soon.." The Necromancer had an idea of what it could be, but those thoughts were pushed away to make room for far better thoughts. "..Aa..We could continue now..?" Lark's voice sounded a bit uncertain but also hopeful.

Sugiza 01-12-2010 04:20 AM

"If you want. I'm fine with it." He kisses her on the cheek gently, thinking for a brief moment. "Ah...which form would you prefer? This one, or the female one?" He grins at her, the sunlight glinting slightly off his glasses as his arm curls around her, his muscles relaxed and comfortable in contrary to her tenseness. His voice was laced with another emotion besides rough seduction, but it's hard to tell what it is.

Kry 01-12-2010 04:26 AM

The Necromancer's body had relaxed just slightly when he kissed her cheek, pressing that lithe body against his a bit hard as that face tilted up to look at his face. "..Both.." A light blush colored those pale cheeks for a moment and then those reddish eyes had half closed and that gaze no longer rested on his face.

Sugiza 01-12-2010 04:34 AM

"Sorry, dear, I don't understand what you're asking of me." He seems genuinely confused as to if she means she wants both the forms at once or at separate times. He takes off his sunglasses, his eyes yellow with vertical slits--like a cat's eyes. "You'll have to be a bit...clearer with your desires, Lark. Heh..." He tilts his head, his eyes searching hers and looking for her reaction.
