Sym frowned, knowing that Luna wasn't really okay. She went out into the hallway were Nalie was sitting. She took her hand. "Is Miss Luna okay...? Has she found my mommy yet?" Nalie asked. She was very worried for a four year old.
"Oh, honey... not yet. But soon. very soon." Tears welled up in Nalie's eyes and she began to cry. Suddenly, the hand that Sym was holding began to burn Sym, and she let go quickly and bent down in front of Nalie.
"Are you hurt, Nalie? Let me see your hand, did you get burned?"
Nalie have Sym a confused look. "Did what hurt, Miss Sym?"
It was then that Sym realized the heat had come out of Nalie's hand. She tried to hide her shocked expression.
"Okay," she said, trying to smile. She scooped Nalie up and carried her on her hip. "Lets get to the gates, alright?"
Sym needed to talk to Luna.

"So you would leave them to their fate? It would be next to disastrous if he gains control of the entire surface. As much as you may not want to admit it, there have got to be more ways down here than we could possibly cover, or even seal off," Jeakil said, pointing at unmarked or barely marked places on the map. "I know there are several tunnels in these parts, and the humans could just dig down to the city, anyway. I've seen their mines. They know how to cut through rock, or blast through it."

-walking out of the water i startle every one in the room as speak softly- "if that is what you are worried about then let me take care of that. if you have not realized by now i can control the elements to some degree. earth being one of those elements. if the humans start to dig, i will feel the weakening of the earth, the movement of the wind through it, and i will collapse the tunels killing them. if they start to blast, i will use the fire and cause it to shoot further out killing those who use it, i will take the wind and dust floating in the air and i will cause it to whip up into the hurricanes. of the fairies can disable their machines, ccause the very trees them selves bog their machines down. till they only have one way to go." - at this i point at the map where valentine was going to have them funnel.- "right here as valentine has said."

Smirking he nodded, "Its good to see at least one understands my master plan," he nodded at Rosalie. Shaking his head, he turned to the were, "I sure hope you, the mighty General could see that. The overlanders have the spirits of the nature itself on their side. We have demons of the same aspects. Surely, great general you could have seen that." damn child, too sharp. She's catching on too quickly. If she keeps this up, she might be worth teaching a thing or two. Tapping the table, he lowered his gaze to the were snake and smiled, "Or did you miss that?"

Sym hung her head and set Nalie on the ground. 'Oh my... It must be. If her mother was here, she would surely be missing her.' She sighed.
Sym put Nalie under the care of one of her friends who wasn't a fighter, named Marie. She gave Nalie a hug goodbye and told her she would see her soon. She wiped a tear off of Nalie's face. "Don't fear, little one."
Sym fluttered over to where Luna was standing. "Nalie is developing powers. Now. It's much too early. It's tied to her emotions. She got upset and it was like fire came out of her hands. It burned my palm pretty bad, see?" She said all in one breath, holding out her palm for Luna to see.

"we need to hurry then. nightfall is approaching, and the gates will be closing soon." she hugged sym and pulled her to the gates with the evacuation group. luna had her eyes on nalie for awile then shook her head and led the group out of faerie territory. she turned to sym and nodded. off we go, then...

After communicating some more back to her people Aurora walked up to Valentine. "Do you need my presence for anything else or may I go back to my people?"

Steaming Aurora glared at Valentine before she pulled her hood back up to hide her face. Then she turned around and stormed out. Making her way through the demon kingdom she found the forest and began to run through it and towards her tree house palace. On her way she connected to her guards mind and told him to get the three top guards to meet her half way.

"How could I see something when I didn't know what they were doing? You didn't explain it to me, or to anyone else that I can see. Sharing your 'master plan' would be greatly appreciated, especially since we play a part," Jaekil said, crossing his arms in front of him. "Keep in mind that we don't read minds."

"Oh. I'm sorry. After that whole little spiel about being the general, leading my men, blah blah blah. I figured you had some ungodly power that would make my little plans seem, plain, in comparison." Sneering, he leaned back into his seat and looked the were over, "Besides. I find that cogs work better if they only know their functions." he added as an afterthought.

"some do. however, what of his troops that wish to know why they are doing what they are doing? how then, would he, be able to explain it; if he, himself, does not know why they are doing, what they are doing?" stares at the maps a moment before shaking my head. "sometimes those in the higher position of power needs to know the master plan in case something does go wrongor so that they may provide better support because they know the troops like you wont and must be able to plan for their specific tallents and where to put them in that battle feild. Besides, since for this batttle we are only trying to channel them to a specific spot; would we not need all the generals knowing who what when where and why? perhaps the general is only trying to gather information for his troops to use. isnt that right general?" turns to face the general awaiting his answer

After awhile Aurora finally met up with the three guards her head guard sent. Their names were Kyrian, Talon, and Chenol. Taking off her hood Aurora smiled at Chenol. "Hello best friend. I knew Erik would send you. Come, let's get back to the palace so we can start." Brushing past them she continued running through the forest, while the three guards followed closely behind to protect their Queen.

Neh'Rui stepped lightly through the portal, seemingly stepping out of a ripple in the air. His long white hair swept about his ankles as he moved slightly, hanging back in the shadows of the room, watching his lord bite back at the Naga king. A small smile graced his pale lips as he moved again, gliding across the stone floors, circling the group, watching their faces and drinking in the mixed emotions running through them all. His dark eyes swiftly scanned the map, reading the plan laid out so far. He then slid into his place along side his lords throne, his presence flowing over the room like a cool wave.

Sherlindia and Jinsu looked in unison to the new comer, having smelt him when he entered. "The point is that plans only last the first encounter... no matter how well you plan them... In fact, the more set the plan the more likely it is to fall appart, so if you would simply explain the plan to us, we would be able to adjust accordingly when the 'shit hits the fan' as they say." Jinsu directed this all toward Valentine in a calm voice.
Sherlindia didn't take her eyes off Neh'Rui for an instant. She felt a sort of attraction to him, but she didn't trust him.

Jeakil looked at the new member to this 'council'. He smiled and nodded when he recognized who and what he was, then turned back to the demon lord, calmer than before. "Both of them are right. You say that cogs work better when they only know their function, but I am no mere cog or wheel on a clock. I was trying to point out that you should listen to what I have to say, because planning and executing war maneuvers is what I do. It would only make sense. And letting me know your plan is another logical step, because I may know things that you don't, or could point out a flaw that you don't see. That is what advisers and the like are for, right?"

He shrugged. "Look. Heres the thing." the massive book from earlier reappeared, "every move, strategy, and tactic that could be possible conceived is in here." he threw the book across the table, "As long as we have that, even the most solid of strategies, is more than flexible enough to deal with anything. Got it?" Smirking, he turned to the newest arival. "I assume the forward watch has reported something than?"

Jeakil looked at the book. "There is no possible way that every possible tactical or strategic move in the world can be written down. There are too many, and more are being created every age. New equipment and devices are invented, new creatures tamed or employed. New ways of thinking are born, and mistakes are worked through. Even the terrain creates new circumstances, along with weather. Each one of those leads to new tactics, and each one is born from old ones. so that book is pretty much obsolete after a few centuries, unless it happens to be enchanted to continue writing itself for eternity."

((I'm sorry, I didn't notice that Shaylee didn't add him to the lists, Neh'rui is the spiritual adviser, the mystic.))
Neh'Rui gave a slight nod, "I have seen the encroaching armies, they seem to be holding back, waiting for something." He answered, his soft voice seemed to echo, quiet, yet heard by all. He looked to Valentine then, his dark eyes roaming over the Demon lord's face. "It might not be my place, my lord, but I do implore you not let your....ego rise above the rest of your generals." He cautioned lightly as his aura washed over the fallen angel, calming him. "They need to know of your plans just as much as you do, for what good are the "pawns" who no not how to play their part?" He continued, placing a slender hand on the mans shoulder. "Simply following words written before our time cannot explain the will of your skills in war."

"no duh. This is the SOURCE of all tactical knowlege." Tapping it impatiently he frowned, "Honestly, I tire of explaining myself over and over again." Muttering, he picked it up, "Name a tactic, strategy, troop formation, anything. or come up with one."

((Ok, because Bikari and I were starting to think about the weres leaving him on his own))
Jaekil stared disbelieving at the book. "The world doesn't work that way, I'm not even going to. Just tell us what the heck you're planning, so we can come up with who goes where. I would hate to have people put in the wrong place and end up dead, just because I didn't have enough information," he said, shaking his head and uncrossing his arms. And then you might end up skewered anyway, right?"
((And please don't think everyone knows everything, your comment to keep up was a bit rude. WE don't know that he thinks too highly of himself, leaders are supposed to know their limits, in both our minds.))

((I apologize for being rude. But... thats the way he is... always meant for him to piss people off.))
He shook his head. "right now, there are over twenty two thousand contingencies. Simply put. This here, Simple barrier strategy. Once we engage and the proper analysis is completed, there is nothing more to do but position the troops." He shrugged and grinned coldly, "Go and do the job you are told to and we will discuss later."
