(( wow, a lot happened lately ^^ yay ))
luna turned to valentine and nodded silently. "yes, im coming." she followed and stopped hearing sym's message, and kept moving after nodding silently in approval and messaging her back. okay, well you know where i am, if anything happens contact me immidiatly. and sym. be careful. |
He lead the fairy down the halls into the depths of the palace before he turned off into a small room with two couches, flopping down he sighed, "Damn those were's!" Hissing he shifted into a smaller form, clean shaven and tired. "Right. Your people. I figure the imps are going to be out on errands, They have a small complex in the south of the city. You can hide them there." he waved his hand absently and shook his head, "DAMN WERES! THEY THINK THEY KNOW!?" He stood up quickly and smashed his hand into the lush couch and watched it shatter.
Sym nodded to Aurora. "Yes, of course. Should i let her know you want to meet with her?" Sym closed her eyes and readied herself to make a connection to Luna. This was easier than anyone else, but it still took energy.
luna frowned, following him in and seeing him better. "temper. temper." she looked at the couch and crossed her arms. she didnt trust valentine much, but when she did it was only for the good of her people. she nodded, remembering the place to hide her fairies and looked at him with curiousity. "what have the weres done to upset you so much?" she asked, watching him cautiously.
He hissed as he turned to face her, eyes cold, glaring, the light vanishing into them as he snarled, "The fools! I CREATED strategy! They think THEY can do a better job? Insolent!" He screamed and began to drip his power, it dropping in globs from between his fingers.
luna winced, but stood her ground. no way was she letting him yell at her for something she ddnt even do. "well, i dont see why you have to yell at me about it. the weres are very smart. they have lived almost as long as fairies have. if they something is right and believe it to be, i think you should give them credit." she could vaugly sence sym trying to get through to her and opened her mind, letting her in completely, making it a bit easier for her.
He spun around, hitting her with his wings before he began cursing in ancient angelic "Serath Misor Kiooo Kllen Kisslej! You think your kind is old? YOU HAVE NO IDEA! YOU, THE ELVES, THE WERES! YOU HAVE NOTHING! NO IDEA! YOU ARE NOTHING BUT ANTS TO ME! I HAVE LIVED MILLIONS, BILLIONS OF YOUR LITTLE LIVES!"
luna stood up, madder than ever and stomped back at him. she bit back the urge to do something bad, knowing it would be in vain anyways since valentine was capable of reading people well, and crossed her arms. "DONT PREACH TO ME ABOUT HOW GREAT YOU ARE, BECAUSE IM NOT INTERESTED! I AM HERE TO SERVE MY PEOPLE, AND MY PEOLE ONLY!"
"Yes Sym that would be wonderful. Were all ready to move so when you are will leave," Aurora said with a small smile. She turned to a guard and told him to have everyone start walking to the edge of the wall where there was a hidden doorway for them to go through.
"It would be entirely possible, Lady," he said, standing up as he nudged the last piece into place. His eyes flickered from hazel to golden orange again before settling into a cross of the two. He made a low, silibant hiss, and a thin black snake slipped out of the shadows in one corner of the hall. "Je'hirane. Human," he ordered.
The thin snake seemed to melt upward, turning into a willowy boned and tall man, nondesctipt in appearance. Je'hirane bowed at the waist, then stood at attention. "You called, Sir?" "This is the lady you and some of the other snakes will be working with on this endevor," he turned to look at her. "This is Je'hirane, one of the king cobras. He's near the top in his own clan, and one of my best spies." |
"I had almost forgotten how much everyone bickers when we meet. To think that we actually accomlpished something last time. So, Sherlindia, you'll inform the clans? I'll be here with Jaekil."
Sherlindia looks to Jinsu sharply, "Of course. I'll see you tonight?" Jinsu sighs, "Of course my love. And I'll inform you what happens here." |
Bowing at the waist slightly I speak softly sensing that for now it is a good idea to keep my power hidden. "Pleasure to meet you Je'hirane, my name is Rosalie Vendethiel." Straitening up I motion him closer to the map. "Heres what im going to have you and your associates helping me with." pointing again at the tunnels under the water that I had noticed "I have already explored several parts of the lake where I am going to be stationed; however, there are still parts that I am too large to get into. I can feel water movement here, here, here, and here." Pointing to each of the tunnels I continue "And there is no water movement here and here but still spaces behind the opening. What I would have you doing is exploring these places so that I can make sure that there is no way that the opposing forces can use those tunnels against us. if i find that they can i will close them off... if not then i will leave them... I do not like messing with natures designs." finishing I straiten turning towards Je'hirane. "got it all?"
"YOU? YOUR KIND? YOU ARE NOTHING! YOU WOULDN'T STAND A CHANCE WITHOUT ME! IT IS MY STRENGTH AND MY POWER THAT YOU NEED!" Turning he screamed and pulled his blade out of one of his wings, "YOUR INSOLENCE WILL NOT BE TOLLERATED!"
luna cringed at the sword. valentine is officially phycotic! her mind was telling her to back the hell down but he just made her so mad. she took a few steps back until she hit a wall and swallowed hard, staring back at him with anger writen all over her face. "okay! im sorry! i thought i was on your side here!" she yelled.
"My side? You think... My side? Oh now." He began to laugh, "You actually think... oh thats too good. The only reason I am here is because I am not up there. I don't have any need to be here." He smirked and shook his head, "No... your not on my side. I'm on yours. Don't forget that."
luna stared at the sword. "realy? your on my side, huh?" she looked back at him. "well the last time i checked, those who are on my side do not threaten me with their own swords. i dont care if you think your worthy of being up there or not." she pushed the blade away with the tips of her fingers and breathed out slowly.
wincing as valentines voice cuts loudly(to me) through the walls I speak in a voice that would wilt steel, loudly enough for valentine and luna to hear. "on our side you may consider yourself but who needs whom? can you win this battle without us? you cannot join lucifer for he would kill you on sight. it is said that pride goeth before the fall. becareful of pride for even the strongest, when too prideful, underestimate their rivals and then make mistakes that will get themselves killed."
"You know the origin of that saying do you not? Pride goeth before the fall? Who fell first hmm? Who is pride?" Not breaking his gaze from Luna he snapped. "I wouldn't need your help. It makes my job easier, but its not necesarry." He snarled
luna kept her face straight listening to them both and wached him curiously. "calm down valentine. you may not need us but we need you. even combined, our chances are slim at most. quit throwing a temper tantrum when something doesnt go your way, and just deal with it if your so much greater than us. you are not god." she hissed.
"No. It is insolence that angers me. Insolence and foolishness." He snarled and waved them away. "I am done with you. Begone with you."
smiles and shrugs returning my attention back to the weres at my side. muttering to myself to quite but for anyone else to hear " that may be but it still holds true. whether you choose to see it or not is up to you."
luna huffed and crossed her arms. "nothing would make me happier." she stomped to the door and slammed it shut on her way out. she went to where her fairies where and smiled seeing nalie in the group. she flattered up to her and picked her up. "are you ready to lay down now?" she smiled seeing the look on her face and looked at the group. "everyone follow me and i will show you to where you will be staying." she called out over the murmeres in the croud. everyone fell silent and she smiled turning out to lead the way to the southern part of the underground city in search of the small complex valentine had spoken of.
Je'hirane nodded. "The sea-snakes would probably fit better here and here," he said, pointing to the smallest of the tunnels. "The smaller anacondas would be fine for the rest." He turned to Jeakil. "Would it be all right if she met the other snakes, Sir?"
Jeakil nodded to Je'hirane, then turned to the door. "I think that he is the one truly at fault for all of this. If he had not been here in the first place, we would most likely not be in this predicament." His eyes setttled back to hazel, and he sighed. "But he won't see it that way." |
"I can't help but wonder if the previous Demon king was really that bad? This particular one seems to make enemies wherever he goes. Do you know what happened to the other demon lords?"
Jeakil shook his head. "There are stories, but so many different versions that it's hard to tell what's true. Though there are a lot speaking of some sort of imprisonment." He sighed, glancing at the door again. "Who gets to ask?"
