luna tried to look unimpressed by all that was done, but couldnt help but quietly gasp when valentine appeared. "long time no see." luna brushed away a lock of her silver white hair and crossed her arms.

Smiling coldly he bowed, "your majesties. so glad you could make it, please do come in." Folding his wings flat against his back he added, "I apologize for my show of force, however, as I make it a point not to hide anything from allies, I belived a head count would be in order." He turned slowly and lead them up the courtyard and into the main hall, where he pointed to a large map, "After the feast, we shall retire here to discuss strategies, but first, a celebration of our partnership!" he clapped as two imps carried wine glasses and a heavy bottle, "To our continued prosperity," he raised his glass after the imps filled it, doing the same with the other glasses presented to the women.

Aurora took the offered glass and watched the king.

((I'm off to bed. I'll be on tomorrow. Night everyone.))

luna nodded and pretended she was listening then stared at the glasses held out to them.she watched aurora take it but when it was offered to her she shook her head "sorry i dont drink.." she muttered.

Sighing he held it up to the fairy, "I assure you, it is not poisoned. What good would it do me to incite a war with your people while preparing for a much larger one?" He shook his head and sipped his wine slowly, "Come now, you act like you have never heard a toast among friends."

"oh but i realy dont drink. i swear. fairys cant lie." luna said matter-of-factly.

(( ok nighty-night FOR REAL this time... ))

Smiling he leaned in close to her, "but you dont speak the truth either. I know your kind. I was there when the first of your kind was made. You are notorious tricksters and are able to bend the truth, without ever breaking it." He took another, slow sip, than nodded, "you claim you dont drink. and yet, how do you gain hydration?"

"ah but, you misunderstood." luna waved a finger around her face."all beings drink it is needed to survive but not all drink alcohol... i know all about fairies and never once has a fairy needed alcohol. which is in wine? am i correct?" luna asked.

(( ok gave up on sleep...that is definitly not happening... ))

Grinning at the challenge he nodded, "but do you not also eat berries? do you not use overripe berries within certain dishes? it is true that, while its not necesarry, your kind does consume fermented fruit. do they not?"

- walks in behind them content to remain in the shadows for the time being as i scope out the forces, their readiness, and general skill at following orders. my foot falls were silent and my presence hardly noticeable but by the two women whom i felt needed to know where i was. i was in front of one of the soldiers when something caught my eye in the corner of the room.

turning quickly i pounce on it and pick it up by tis neck coming up with a snake.- "you might want to be more careful not to be spotted next time these people can be a lot meaner then i sometimes and i do believe to them you would make a tasty treat" lets him go and walks off after the party once again my steps unhurried-

luna thought about this for awile then grinned. she shrugged. "you caught me....bending the truth....but never breaking it." she smiled taking the glass.

Chuckling he bowed again, eyes flashing, "I do admit, I enjoy a good wrestle of the minds." Glancing sideways at the other guest, he frowned, "was it necesarry to attack one of my guards?" he pointed at the snake, "It is quite hard to get any to join as it is." He held out the last remaining glass and nodded, "Drink up, to the new alliance." Draining his glass he nodded to the two large demons at the end of the corridor. With an audible grunt, they opened the doors to the throne room, displaying a large table that ran the length of the room and was covered with every food imaginable. "I do belive we have some more guests to arrive, but i am sure they do not mind if we begin." Stepping to the side he waited for the women to enter before himself.

"Be sure to lead the Weres to the palace." he added to the chief of the guards, "I would very much like to get to the heart of the matter."

luna sipped from the glass every now and then, but kept her eyes alert on everything. she took a seat between aurora and rosalie and tucked her wings behind her back waiting for the rest of the leaders to arrive.

"yes, valentine, i felt it was so, i wanted to make sure that they were in top form for this war... anything less is the sure fire way to end up dead." -takes a sip from the glass studies it for a moment before taking another and entering the throne room i sit down my eyes never held on anyone thing for long. fleshes out the details of our lake side meeting with aurora catching her up with the rest of us-

Smiling coldly, "My personal guard are nothing more than a formality, and, in fact, have no bearing over the battle." Sighing, he turned to Luna, "I assume that your people have heard the news and are begining preparations than?" He clicked his claws lightly on the arm of his throne.

luna turned to him. "yes. i have set up warriors at checkpoints in the forest like i said i would, and i have gotten permission from my elders to fight on the battlefield with my entire army.my people are fully aware of the situation and have begun to take the proper preparations" she tryed to remember anything else she might have missed and added, "oh and my advisor, sym, is talking with the weres that did not appear at the lake that day" she wondered if sym would know to show up here as well, then thought she would probably end up following the weres to this place.

Nodding he looked deep into his glass, refilling it as it was mostly empty, "I am afraid even such preparations will prove inadequate." he waved his arm out of the palace window and sighed, "all the soldiers in the world cannot stop what they cannot kill." taking a sip he looked up, "however, let us not tary on the negative, for tonight is a celebration of the peace we have enjoyed between our peoples."

luna nodded silently, some of her white silver hair was draping into her face but she was too busy thinking about her fairies to notice. she took another small sip of the wine and tucked the long hair behind her pointed ears.

A gong rang as the clock in the tower struck the half. "Those were-folk had better hurry," he sighed, "the covenant will close without them if they are not carefull."

"there is a way to incapacitate the possesed being though."

-my voice sounded out completely serious as i ran my finger around the edge of the glass making it sound off before i look at valentine.- "simply dismember it and you wont have to worru about it getting up to attack you. a arm alone cannot harm you same as a leg can not move without a body to balance it. a headless body can not see to attack you thus to make it simple completely cut off the head and you will have a useless body that even actively controld be another mage that mae must have direct line of sight to work. thus it is easy to dispatch them in that manner. " -finishes speaking as the weres enter the palace-

Sighing he nods, "that is truly one way of acheiving victory. However, its an inefficient one." Standing up slowly, he bows to his guests, "I must go see the late ones in. excuse me." Without another word, he swiftly bolted through the door and out to the palace gates.

-sighs as well as i mutter under my breath just loud enough for the two females to hear- " yes it may be inefficint but i dont see you coming up with any ideas" - takes another sip of the red liquid before i set it carefully on the table in front of me.

luna giggled quietly at what rosalie said and sighed. "i think we might come up with better plans if we knew a bit more about lucifer and his past. so far all i know is what has been told to me recently."

"i know he was a demon who thought the overworlders where good for nothing more then pleasure slaves. i know he was powerful and had some strong generals whom he didnt care about eithor. other then that i dont know really i never was interested in him merely one of his generals a bit back" shrugs my face and voice blank as i watch the door out of the corner of my eyes-

Sym closed her eyes for a moment, feeling Luna's telepathic presence. "It a-apears we will have to talk about this some other time. It is getting dark outside and i must meet Lu- Her majesty. I assume that y-you've been invited as well?" Sym tried to sound professional, but found it hard to hide her nervousness.

She bowed her head to the were leader and motioned him to follow her when ready. With a flutter of her wings she took off and out of the cave entrance, heading towards the demonland. When she arrived she looked around at the soliders, and decided to go in the gate.

She spotted Luna along with the demon and elf leaders, and someone else she had seen before.

"Luna!" she cried, landing gracefully next to her best friend. She bowed her head to the other leaders. "The leaders of the weres should be along shortly."
