Meiko placed her head on her table and closed her eyes. "Do we have to?" she wined as she got up from the table. She went into her room and got her Katana and guns, putting them on.

Scott headed down to the car and waited for Meiko. When she arrived they headed for the station. A call came over the radio. "Calling all units, shootout in progress at first national bank. please respond." "Showtime" Scott said.

Hung her head as she heard the news. "This is just great. Well lets get this over with partner."

Scott drove the both of them to the bank. Once there, an officer filled them in. The gunmen had taken hostages. Scott went to the trunk of the car and removed a sniper rifle with a thermal scope and armor-piercing rounds. "Meiko, you go in and take out the gunmen guarding the hostages, I'll snipe the rest to cover your back."

Meiko nodded in agreement as she placed her mask over her face. She looked more like a ninja as she moved to the side of the bank. She looked up at the building and shook her head as she jumped up the side using the other building next to it to jump off till she made it to the top. She did a back flip and landed on the roof. Meiko quickly ran to one of the air vents and slipped in. She fond herself in one of the offices at the rear of the building. Meiko quickly moved to where the gunman was. She pulled out her sword and quicly disposed of him as she stud in front of the hostages ready to defend them from any gun shots. She held her Katana out in front of her ready to defeclt any attack.

Scott set up the sniper rifle, and activated the thermal scope. He spotted two gunmen head toward Meiko's position, and took them out with one shot apiece.

Meiko quickly moved her sword as another gun man appeared from one of the desk at the front of the bank. The built hit her sword and was reflected off of it at the right angle to penetrate the gunman killing him on the spot. She looked about not seeing any more but radioed Scoot. "Are we clear to let the people out of the bank yet?"

Scott shot the last gunmen standing by the vault. "We are now. Start sending them out."

Meiko waited till all the hostages where out and the swat team had cleared the building to exit it. In a quick movement she placed her katana back in its holder as she removed her mask. She shook her head as she let her hair dance about her happy to feel the fresh air. She smiled as a few of the hostages made their way to their loved ones. She looked as one of the swat members came up to her and thanked her then asked for scott wanting to thank him as well.

Scott enterd the bank and approached Meiko. "You did a great job today partner."

Meiko smiled. "Yea so did you partner!" She looked at where the gunmen had been. "It is a good thing we have each other it could have got messy with any other team!"

"That's why we're the best. C'mon, lets go get a beer."

Meiko looked at him as she put her mask away. "Is that all you drink and do? I think I'll pass I am still paying for my stunt. Though I'll go sit while you have one if you like?"

Scott paused for a moment. "No, I think I'll sit with you. It's been a rough day."

She smiled as she gave him a slight hug. "Ok then partner shut your self. Where do you want to go and sit at? Please not HQ I don't want Chief making fun of me for my stunt I know you are going to tell him soon enough."

"Let's go back to my place. it's more comfortable than you think" Scott said as he motioned Meiko to follow him.

Meiko followed though she was a little slow.

Scott helped Meiko into his car, and drove her to his apartment. "Make yourself at home" Scott said as they enterd his apartment. They were instantly greeted by Scott's cat purrman.

Mekio smiled as she saw his cat. She gently petted the cat as she took a seat on his couch and looked about the place.

"Make yourself at home." Scott went to the refrigerator. "Would you like something to drink?"

"Oh no thanks." She smiled as she looked about the place. "So where is your other friend? "

"She's a rouge. I don't know where she is, and I don't care." Scott sat down with a cup of green tea. "How about some music?" Scott pressed a button, and classical music began to play.

Meiko turned as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the music. She could tell that was a sour patch with him and she didn't want to bring that up again. "Didn't peg you as a classical type."

"It helps me to relax. Even us cyborgs get stressed out."

Meiko laughed as she looked at him. "Really....so my computer can feel stress too...no wander it hates me...well beside the constance slapping it receives. Glad you aren't friends with my computer."
