Louis shrugged and looked around. Shivering a bit as he wondered where they were, he droppoed a few of the pebbles. Doni jumped at the sudden movement, but quickly went back to playing with them by batting them across the ground with her paws.

"Im not sure. I hope they didnt get lost. Its scary out there..." Louis said, keeping his eyes out to where the two had left and waited for them hopefully.

Adelaide

Adelaide shivered noticeably. She felt it too, this wan't good. Her heart was beating like a mad drum and she couldn't quite remember why they needed to come out. The crinkling bags in her hands reminded her, they needed food. She had to get this food home to her siblings.

She nodded at Vesper's command and walked with her head up and alert. She nearly fell several times, Adelaide was used to looking at her feet, but she kept tramping back to their campsite. She could hear Vesper repeating the words over and over. It calmed her, that mantra of getting back.

Aria stopped besides Elidi and Kin, and stared at the curious ball of fur Louis held in his lap. "Wh-what is that?" She questioned, putting extra emphasis on the last word, an action she most recently learned and never tired of doing. She bent down besides Louis and tentalively reached a hand out to the thing. Aria turned her gaze to Louis quizzically. "May I....pet it?"

"Yes, pet her. She likes it," Louis chuckled and picked the purring feline up and plopping it down next to Aria with a smile. Smiling up at his sister cheerily, he ran his hand down the little cats back merrily, almost as it to show her what to do.

"Its a Cat monster," He declared happily and offered the cat another stick to swat at.

"A cat monster." Aria repeated feeling the word on her tongue. She liked that. She ran a hand along the cat's arched back and nearly jumped back as the thing purred in delight. Aria smiled at it. "Does....it have a name?"

"Dani. Thats what Kin calls it," Louis said with a smile and scooted a bit closer to his sister happily. With a sigh, he once again plopped himself down onto the dirt to watch the cat from its own angle. He watched them both quietly as his sister scratched the cats back. He was content where he was. That is, until a strange noise came from his stomach.

"I have a belly monster," He gasped and looked down to his abdomen and giggled, "I think its hungry! Hehe!"

Elidi, Daughter of Sun

Elidi watched her siblings play with the cat. She smiled. And then stood up as her mind returned to the present. "Right, we have food, and we're all here. We need to get out of here as soon as possible and cover our tracks, because they will find us." And with they she didn't just mean humans, but Death and Darkness as well. She paused and then continued. "Now, I need all of you to be sensible." She said as she watched them take food and begin to eat. "I don't know why we've been brought here, but certainly not to kill." She spoke seriously, and all smiling was gone from her face.

"People will try to kill us, attack us, and we've got to be prepared. Mother has given us talents, many talents, but if we can't control them they can be a danger to us and others. Now I don't believe that all humans are bad, but I do know that a large majority of them have decided to go against us. Now, we must move, because they will find us and we cannot risk it."

"But where will we go?" Louis asked in a frightened tone. Shivering a bit at the mention of people actually attacking them, Louis rose from his spot on the ground and looked at her like a lost little puppy. He whimpered and took a little hop closer to the heart of their little group, every corner now looking menacing. He had not though about the danger, not much anyway, but just mentioning it made it feel real. He didnt like the fact that it was indeed possible for one or all of them to be hurt.

Vesper saw the light of his sister and walked towards her, soon making it to camp. He took a spare blanket and started to take the food from Ade and lay it onto the cloth. He then started to take all the drinks he had in his pockets and place them out. They had enough food for another three days he guessed. Vesper then heard a small meow and purr. He looked up to his little brothers, seeing the creature in their arms. He could tell by the look on their faces they loved it already. Vesper stood up to allow his siblings to eat.

"Cats eat fish right?" He asked picking up a can of tuna. A pet would not be so bad. Tuna was gross anyway. It must have been one of the healthy things Ade took. He looked up at Elidi. She wanted to move again. Food first though. After the hell Ade and him had gone through.

Shay smiled after he ate and sat there content. He listend to his sister very closely and she was right. They did have to move and the humans didn't like them. If they went into town he would have to make sure that he showed as little emotion as possible. He didn't want to accidently blow someone up or hurt them. He also knew that most of the humans would try to hurt them so if they tryed to hurt them he would only hurt them a little bit.

But when she said soemthing about Death and Darkness she cluched his hands into fists. He would protect his family from them and make sure that nothing happend to them. He may act like a kid sometimes but he was strong and would make sure that nothing happend to everyone.

Adelaide

Adelaide was grateful to be back at camp. She handed Vesper the food and listened to Elidi speak. She nodded in agreement with what her sister said. Her brow furrowed at the comment about having talents. Adelaide felt so apart from them, they bathed in power and took it for granted. She sighed and went back to passing out food for her siblings.

The fluffy creature starting crying and Vesper seemed to be debating on the thing to feed it. Adelaide looked at it with a smile, the a dark thought crossed her mind. It was cute, but what if it made noise at the wrong time or one of her brothers got hurt trying to retrieve or keep safe the cat. She wasn't sure about the wisdom of keeping a pet.

Adelaide turned back to Elidi.

"I know a glade that the humans are unfamiliar with. It's high ground and well sheltered. There's actually a small spring there so we wouldn't have to bring in water," Adelaide outlined the benefits of the place. It seemed that more and more she weighed the pros and cons of every move they made.

Elidi, Daughter of Sun

Elidi nodded grimly. "Eat, gather strength." She stared at the cat. Similar worries were plaguing her. "Do you think Donivina can stay quiet?" She asked. She took some cherries and began to eat them, spitting the pips into the earth and then touching them to make them grow. She then ate some more, because she hadn't eaten for two whole days, to make sure everyone else got some. She turned to Adelaide.

"What would we do without you, Ade?" She asked with a smile. "Ade is right. Now, don't eat too much, this has to last a while, kay?" She said lovingly. Elidi sighed and sat down again, too tired. Another night of nightmares... but yet she had rested peacefully, which was a pleasant surprise for her.

Kin smiled when Aria came near to them and to started playing with the Cat. He raised a hand and waved hello to her before looking up in surprise as his two other siblings approached. At the mention of food, his eyes practically lit up with excitement. Chuckling, he started to eat, enjoying the taste in his mouth.
"Blimey you two got a lot..." He commented before falling silent again as he listened to Elidi.

Frowning again at the ground, he finished his food. "I don't like humans...They're so blind, think we're monsters when it's the other way round! They can all burn to yummy crisps in my opinion." He commented, though made sure to keep his voice low. No doubt one of his siblings would tell him off for thinking that way. At his sister's question, he quickly cheered himself up.
"Yea! Doni's really good! Besides, she's cute, we can't leave her now we've fed her. It's like, against some unspoken rule or something!" He answered with a grin.

Aria leaned against Kin and rested her forehead on his shoulder sadly. "I wish the humans didn't hate us," she said to no one in particular as her eyes wandered along the frowning faces of her beautiful siblings. She let a hand trail along the dirt ground, and stuck a finger out, leaving a soft indent in the ground.

"We didn't do anything to them so why do they blame us?" Aria's dark brown hair fell in her face as a single tear slid down her cheek. She wiped it clear with the back of her hand. "I-It isn't f-fair..."

Shay walked over to Aria and put a hand on her back. He had heard her and agreed with her. "your right, it isn't fair." he said softly to her. HIs voice held some care in it but it was very powerfull how much care was in that small amout that some particles exploded near his ear. "they blame us because they fear us. They dont understand what we are and what we can do." he said as he stayed close to her.

"since we have powers and came when the sun went out they think we are the problem. But they dont want to take the time to ask us so they just assume that we are the cause for it. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like for them if they would just listen for once." he said as he looked at her.

Adelaide

Adelaide walked among her siblings, making sure that everyone was eating things that were healthy as well as their diet o candy bars and soda. She distrubuted the tinned fruit they had found, making sure that every sibling was eating something that had at one point grown from a tree or bush.

"If that fluffball, gets us caught or slows us down, it's on you!" she said jokingly while she ruffled Kin's hair and handed him a tin of fruit.

She walked over to Aria and Shay sat. She put her hands, with a tin of fruit in each, behind her back.

"That's an idea, but they won't listen. It's just not in them to listen," she mumbled to Shay.

"Pick, " she told them, wiggling her elbows.

Shay nodded, she was right they would never listen. They where to hard headed and didn't want to hear about how they where good or anything like that. He then looked at her elbows and wondered which one to pick. He was hungery and had seen the tin of fruit. He wanted one and heard his stomach growl when he thought of them.

"I think it is in the right." he said and pointed to her right elbow. he hoped that he picked right and wanted one of those fruit.

Louis laughed at the two of them and snuck a tin over to himself, with his powers of course. He giggled to himself and took what food he could and ate it, making sure to keep it away from Doni. As far as he knew cats ate fruit. He still pet the little fur ball as he ate though, not wanting the creature to feel unloved. He even offered her a piece after a moment. He felt bad for it. It was probably hungry, though it looked astonishingly fat for a stray cat.

The cat just snuffled it and turned away, sneezing at the odor and pulling its lips back in disgust.
Louis just grumbled and took the, now very dirty, piece of fruit and shoved it into his own mouth. After a second though he gagged it back up.

Aria smiled at her sister's attempts to lighten their situation. "Thanks, uh, knowing Shay's luck he's probably already picked the correct hand." She wiggled her fingers dramatically at Shay, teasing him. Suddenly, her face went blank. She looked at her siblings in quizzical horror.

"Is it bad if a human gives you a gift and you don't understand why or what exactly it is?" She plastered a sinking smile on her face as she dug around in her jean pockets. Aria pulled out a long silver chain, and on the end dangled a key about the size of her pinkie finger. She held it in front of her face, seemingly staring it down, and swung it back and forth. "On our first day here, a human approached me, an elderly woman." She told the group mysteriously, continuing. "She came up to me and grabbed my hand, placing the key in it. And then, she went about telling me how she saw us coming, in a vision."

Aria paused and bit her lip. "I'm.....sorry I didn't tell you before. I had forgotten about it until this moment."

Elidi, Daughter of Sun

Elidi listened to Aria, and took the key off her. She stared into it with her golden eyes. She looked at her sister. "Relax. It should be fine. But..." She paused, considering it. No it was ridiculous. "Keep it safe, keep it hidden. Right, now that we are all fed, we must leave." She adressed the whole group, put the rest of the food on a blanket and wrapped it up. "We should go. Now!" She said, and heaved the heavy parcel over her shoulder.

She smiled at her siblings. "Let us leave this place. And move on to the next."

It was very dark around her. Weather it be from the lack of sun, or even the fact of her causing it, it felt great. Two people walked past her. Hugging themselves from both fear and cold. Stygian fed herself from their fear. Making her feel even better. As they moved away from her, she chuckled a bit. Crossing her legs from beneath her knee length shirt. Every once in a while she would turn her head either way. Wondering when death would finally seek her form out. She could feel him coming for her. Loving the very feeling. A hand slid up and threw her long black hair. It seemed a dark smoke like substance bounced off her form when looked at the right way. A while ago two sun children had gone into the store right across from her. Taking the food. Naughty children. Though Stygian did nothing to stop them. She loved feed off their energies. Especially the darker boy. They were gone now. Back to were the rest of the herd was.

Stygian once again picked her head up to look around her. "Dammit Thana.. Your always late" She said to herself sitting back against the bench. Both arms extended in either way, resting against the back of the bench.

Adelaide

Adelaide handed Shay the pineapple from the hand he picked, then gave Aria a tin of mangoes. She smiled at each in turn and looked puzzled when Aria showed her and Elidi the key.
Adelaide watched Elidi reaction and made a note to speak to her about it later, when everyone wasn't so focused. She grabbed up a handful of the purloined bedrolls and loaded up Shay and Aria with the rest.
"It's to the north of here," Adelaide said while securing the last of the bedding.
She looked at her siblings then headed towards the tiny enclosed glade where they would be staying.

Aria nodded helplessly and un-clipped the chains lock, hooking it to her neck. She fingered the key. [I]What could it be for?/I] The girl wondered. She stood up with her siblings and walked to the lone sleeping bag away from the others and started folding it up and shoving it inside a worn backpack.

Aria slung it over her shoulder, ready to face this new world with her family. She placed her hands on her hips, cocking her body to the side as she'd seen impatient human girls do. "So, shall we?" She said with the confidence she could only muster via her power. She grinned.

Shay jumped up and rolled up his sleeping bag. He then stuffed it into his backpack and jumped up. "yes, lets go." he said and smiled at Aria. He wondered where they would be going and what kind of people they would met. He would be happy if the people there where nice and no one tryed to hurt him and his family.

He then picked up the cat and held her in his arms. The cat purred and then walked up his arm and onto his shoulder. It slung herself over his shoulder and purred there happly. Shay smiled and scratched behind her ear and waited for everyone to be ready.

Kin had smiled at his siblings, gladly accepting the tinned fruit. However it did take a couple of moments before he was able to crack into it and actually taste the strange food.
"I don't like tins....They're really hard to get into!" He complained as he ate. Glancing to Aria, he frowned a little, gazing at the key. If it was from a human, he didn't trust it. For all they knew, it could be some sort of device tracking their every move so the humans, or worse, death and darkness could find them easily. He shook his head. That was a stupid idea, human's probably weren't able to make something like that.

Nodding at Elidi's words, he stood up at the same time, stretching a little.
"Do you want me to take that?" Kin questioned softly, smiling to her. Even now though, he could feel that prickling sensation, one he'd grown very used to, and hated it each time. The feeling put him on edge, he wanted to get out of there quickly. The sooner they were on the move, the safer they would be.
