Kiryn chuckled softly when Ceri pulled away from him, allowing her to go. He also lowered his other arm from around Kay, so she could move about freely as well. He chuckled again, violet eyes alight with amusement as he watched Ceri. "You were blushing as well, so you must like at least one of us." His wings twitched again..something didn't feel quite right, but he wasn't sure what it was. He shrugged off the feeling, but he would remain alert.

Kay turned redder. I wish I could just punch her.... and I think I deffinetly prefer mean Ceri, to playful poke fun at me Ceri. Kay saw Ceri look out into the dark for a brief moment, and followed her gaze outward. It was so dark out there. Kay had never seen a night so dark. Streetlights and house lights always lit the world around her at night in the human world. But here, nothing was illuminated beyond the light cast from Lyre's home. Looking in the pitch black, goose bumps rose on her skin and the hairs on her arms stood. The dark was just so eerie to her. "Ceri, did you really just come out here to bug us? Or was there a different reason?"

Lyre shot up from his bed, head turning to the window and the darkness that laid beyond the glass. 'What...?' He quickly climbed out of his bed and quickly crossed the room to the door. After pulling it open he moved to the staircase, instead of taking the steps he slid down the banister, it was faster that way. He hopped off at the end and hurried to the open front door, leaning against the door-frame, behind the trio on the porch, "Ceri...is that who I think it is?"

“Either that or I just find it embarrassing” Ceri spat back at kiryn as she gazed out into the night a moment longer. She could feel the energy shifting, as if it were here but not… then slowly it was beginning to form into something solid, now that whatever it’s earlier task was had finished… She dismissed a frown, forcing herself to continue to look cheerful.

As Kay spoke she looked to her, she simply grinned and reached forward to touch her hand to Kay’s cheek. She leaned close, a mischief in her eyes rather then the demon as she quickly formed her plan. “Maybe I was just Jealous beautiful…” She then took her hand away and shivered, “You feel cold… Kiryn, why don’t you take her inside? I can tease you two later.” She said with a smile. She looked towards Kiryn then, her eyes going to his as if to emphasis taking her inside.

Lyre caught her attention and she looked to him instantly, only then realizing why it had felt familiar… the demon reminded her of her mother’s energy. Had it been sending a message to it’s mistress where to find her defiant daughter? No… No she was dead. Though she paled for half a second Ceri laughed, shaking her head. “Who do you mean?” She asked quietly before giving a look to Kay and Kiryn then back to lyre meaningfully. Her eyes pleaded with him not to say anything.

Lyre recognized the look in Ceri's eyes, "Hm? Oh, I was probably just imagining things then. It seems to have gone away now." he said, the stepped lightly to Kiryn and Kay's sides placing a hand on Kay's shoulder in the process, "Why don't you two go inside? It's warmer there and i need to speak to Ceri alone." He offered them a pleasant smile, "We have a lot to catch up on, I haven't seen her in a while as it is."

He stood there for a few moments, just watching Ceri. Occasionally he glanced out into the darkness..eyes glowing faintly whenever he did look out towards the dark. Then at Ceri's suggestion to take Kay inside, he studied the witch for a moment then nodded. "Aa..You're right, it's gotta bit chilly out." He gently took Kay by the wrist and turned towards the door. Stopping for a moment as Lyre appeared there. "Feeling better?" He asked slightly concerned. Though with another glance at Ceri, and then Lyre also ushering them to go in Kiryn shrugged and smiled. "Indeed..Forgive us for monopolizing your friend's time." He didn't wait for a response, he pulled Kay gently into the dwelling. Closing the door behind him before he let go of her.

Something was wrong..and he was certain. Something was out there though he couldn't tell exactly where or what, but Ceri and Lyre seemed to know. He frowned slightly and moved through the kitchen, going to some of the food that Lyre had prepared earlier.

Kay stood there puzzled. She knew the others had just had a silent conversation she had not been privy to. And she wanted to know what it was about. She followed Kiryn into the kitchen. "What was all that about?" she asked the questions casually enough. She didnt want him to know she was worried. As she waited for his answer she popped up on to the counter where she could sit comfortably, but she made sure she was far out of view from the window. Whatever was out there, she did not want to see it this time.

Ceri couldn’t help but look thankful as he spoke, nodding as if to agree. For a moment she watched the group, her eyes half closed in thought. Could it really be? No… not her… She was dead. Absently she reached up and touched the apparent ‘tattoo’ of a star and moon on her cheek in black ink. Unconsciously she shivered, glancing towards the woods again. She could feel something out there… getting close.

She watched the two, thankful as Kiryn took Kay inside. She simply gazed at him blankly until he got inside, rubbing the cross around her neck. It tingled against her fingertips, not quite transforming but confirming her suspicions. A demon was close… but not the kind she was use to. She heard a crunch in the leaves, a solid form now moving through the bushes and watching them. It was strangely cat like…and if you were closer then Ceri or Lyre you would see a silver moon and star mark on its forehead just like the one Ceri’s mother had placed on her cheek…"somethings wrong..." ceri whispered.

He shrugged slightly at Kay's question. "Lyre want's to speak with the Witch." He fixed himself a plate of food and began to eat it, slowly. Watching Kay for a few moments before he looked towards the window. His wings twitched again. "It's probably nothing to concern us, they are old friends it would seem." He shifted slightly on his feet, Kiryn felt it best not to say anything to Kay about what he felt. Considering he wasn't even sure what he felt, just uneasy. "We should stay in and let them have their privacy for the moment."

Kay was not satisfied with the answer he had given. "Kiryn, we both were already outside, they could have had their private conversation in here while we were out there.... I saw the look Ceri gave you and Lyre.... Please just tell me what it was about." Kay might have just been a silly human, but she was not stupid. She knew that there was something going on, and she had the feeling they were trying to protect her from it, but it would have been nice to know what was so dangerous so that, like a silly human, she didnt just walk up to it and try to shake its hand.

"They could have." Kay had a valid point, but Kiryn had a good excuse. "Unless Lyre didn't decide he wanted to speak with her until after she had already walked outside. Besides, Lyre had been upstairs resting." He nibbled a bit at the food he had placed on his plate. His gaze shifting from the window to Kay. It seemed, he had nothing else to say for the moment at least. He was thinking though. His thoughts closely guarded and his eyes intense. Kiryn couldn't really tell Kay what it was anyway, because he wasn't sure himself.

"Fine," Kay pouted, jumping from the counter. She went over to the bowl with fruits in it and picked one up. It was bright green and had pink speckles on it. The outside texture was kind of hard and bumpy. She broke it open and it was bright blue inside. It smelled delicious. "Um, this looks pretty neat, is it safe for me to eat one of these things?" Kay was trying to change the subject to something that Kiryn would be more willing to discuss. She was getting more nervous by the minute. For one thing, she didnt hear much talking from the outside and for another Kiryn seemed restless. She knew neither were good signs.

He could tell she wasn't completely satisfied by his answer, but really there wasn't more more he could or would say on the matter. He nibbled at the food a bit more, looking to her when she asked about one of the fruits. Kiryn's eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at the fruit in her hands. After a moment he nodded. "Aa..It's safe." He watched her closely, wondering how she would react to the flavor of the fruit.

Feeling the call from the mother nature Uka wake up that morning yawning. Packing a couple aples, some sandwichs and nice long blanket went out wearing some nice jeans, a t shirt, his favorite flipflops and a Camera.

While was walking around taking some pictures he pass by a curious escene and heard the strange conversation a human girl and a feary was having. He took some pictures since his camera was digital it make perfect sense to have some cool images. The thing was not his concernr until his eyes catch the machine! THE TRUCK!

A feeling, a need to see to check it run trought his body making his long ears twitch, therefore, putting aside his natural easy going manner he decide to aproach to the girls... Hoping they wont freak out since he was cleary a werewolf.

- Hellow!!! - he said with hes nicest smile and brigth eyes! - Do you need some help? - and he aproached to the truck- Look a bit messy dont you think?

Uka keep talking to the truck while he was checking it- Yeap.. its broken here.. maybe i could fix it- So he went the way to the elfs house thinking tha maybe he could get some help to fix the machine. Human machines always were his weakness. So he did, he was chewing the aple when called:

- Hooo!! people of the house! how are you neighborghs? I got you pictures here! I found an amazing thing in the route!

Kay took a big bite out of the fruit and found that it was pleasent, but then the after taste kicked in and it was Horribly bitter. She screwed her face up in disgust and glared furiously at Kiryn, "Why did you let me eat that? Have you ever had one of these?"

"You asked me if you could eat it..You never asked if I thought you might like it or not." Shoulders rose and fell in a light shrug, a gentle smile on his lips as he nodded at her question. "Aa..I find them very enjoyable." He looked down at his plate and picked up a violet fruit. The same kind he had eaten earlier that evening..the fruit that matched his eyes. He handed it to her. "You might favor this one better, it's bitter, but slightly tart and very sweet at the same time."

Kay took the purple fruit from his hand and bit into it much slower this time. Her eyes widened "Oh wow...." She took another bite, and another. With her mouth still full of fruit, the purple juices dripping down the sides of her mouth, she said "This is SO good." She took yet another bite....

Kiryn chuckled softly as he watched Kay eat the fruit. Glad she liked it, but the way she was eating it, he didn't really expect to get any back. When the juices began to drip down her face though, he reached over for a napkin and handed that to her. "Easy now, don't choke yourself and don't make a mess in Lyre's kitchen." He chuckled again at her. She really was an amusing and interesting creature.

Kay took the napkin graciously and wiped her mouth. She finished the fruit with out making too much of a mess. She had never tasted anything with that much flavor to it. "Kiryn, does all fairy food have that much flavor? I mean that first fruit tasted bad, but it was a very strong flavor of bad. This one tasted good, a very yummy good. I mean, after that just thinking of eating human food sounds bland.... Is that why you all dont ever want any of my human food that Lyre bought, because it doesnt have taste?"

"Human food isn't natural. Our food comes straight from the soil. Grown with love and care from our Mother Earth. It's one of the reasons why human's shouldn't eat much fairy food. It makes them not want to return to their own realm." He frowned slightly. Maybe he shouldn't have let her have it, but he figured a few pieces here and there wouldn't hurt. "Your food comes from...factories...not the earth and you eat a lot of meat.." He wrinkled his nose slightly.

Not returning to the human world, is starting to sound better and better all the time Kay mused. After all, people here were nicer to her, they seemed to care about her, and the food was yummy, the only down side so far was demons that wanted to kill her. But surely she could learn to defend herself. I wonder if I could get Kiryn to teach me how to use a sword. That would be so cool. She looked over at the sword that hung by his side. It looked very heavy. Well maybe not a sword, maybe I could use a knife or a dagger. Kay walked over to the window to peek out. Everything looked so dark. Even more so than earlier. "Kiryn, does time pass here similar to the human world?"

He continued to watch her, following her gaze when it traveled to his sword. One hand dropped down to it. Finger's lightly running over that gilded hilt and pommel. He briefly wondered what she was thinking before his thoughts were interrupted by her question. He sat his plate down, nearly empty now and one of those violet fruits only half eaten still there. "It does...I think..." He frowned slightly. "I never paid much attention to it, and only been in the human realm once." He shifted a bit on his feet, only looking slightly uncertain.

A grim smile stretched Lyre's lips, "Yea...and I have a feeling neither of us is gonna like it." He climbed up a branch or two of the tree his house was a part of and crouched at the edge of one of the branches, eyes sweeping through the darkness. "It's...close. Be prepared..." he murmured. Maybe he shouldn't have climbed the tree...whatever was out there, was very familiar, and was pulling at the locks he had managed to put on his mind. 'Please don't let it be...her...'

Ceri nodded darkly in reply, watching as what looked like a large panther with two bladed tails crossed out of the darkness. There were twin silver horns on its head, it’s silver, pupil-less eyes going to Ceri’s instantly. It’s eyes twitched into a smile, remembering tasting Ceri as a little girl as one of her mother’s punishments for not doing as she was told….for asking so many questions.

For a moment it tilted it’s head to the side, the light hitting the silver marks of star and moon on its cheek flashing. This was the first time somebody outside the family had seen it’s true form, Lyre being the someone. Usually it would just take the form of a small cat but it had missed the taste of Ceri’s flesh filled with a combination of dark magic and pure soul… most unusual.

“Zithera!” Ceri hissed, stepping back. There were it’s claw and tooth marks on the back of her even now, scaring her pale white flesh. … some she’d received as young as four when she said ‘hurting that man didn’t feel right’. The demon cat in response simply chuckled, it’s pact with her mother ensuring it could not eat Ceri fully but a little taste here and there… It’s eyes glittered wickedly and it’s tail began to curl around itself. “You’ve been a bad daughter again haven’t you?” the demon cooed in response.

Lyre's eyes darted from the demon-panther thing to Ceri, 'Well...seems someone doesn't have good memories...' he dropped from his branch down to Ceri's side, "Anything I should know if it attacks?" he questioned sarcastically, eyes still trailing the beast. He had left his weapons inside, and he only knew some basic magic spells...this wouldn't end all that well for him would it?
