The story begins:



The realm of Underhill is a strange and Magical place few mortals ever visit, and even fewer return from. It is a world of things kind and sinister, wonderful and terrifying. And Kay Smith is about to go there....

If you want your character's Bio updated or if I seem to have gotten a fact wrong, PLEASE PM me, and I will fix it... I just decided that this would be the absolute best way to bring everyone up to speed (especially for the new RP-ers) OK first the Characters so far....
Character/ User

Kay/ Me A human, she recently acquired the Holy Blade. It attracts demons to her so that she can slay them... She is still learning how to use the blade, but when the magic is not active in her body, she is completely human. She had an attitude problem when she was back in the human realm, and she is still not sure how she fits into the world of Underhill. She often feels lost there, but she is loyal to all her friends.

Lyre /Aoi Kazuya an Elf and An old child hood friend of Ceri, it is his house we are using right now. Lyre is losing his mind right now, and no one is sure why. He gets special medicine from the mermaids... but Lyre is under the impression that his time is running out.

Ceri/ Staria A witch woman with demon inside her body, she was the carrier of the Holy Blade before Kay. It is her job to now teach Kay what she can about the blade. Ceri also has a mother (Staria also controls this character) who wants to control Ceri's life. When Ceri refused her mother the first time, it greatly angered her, and now she wants Ceri dead.

Kiryn/ Kry A Fairy/elf, he is in the service of the Queen and is a Royal Protector, He has sworn his protection to the other characters but gets very exasperated with Kay and Ceri's antics... He also gets embarrassed easily when people don’t act "appropriately" and finds human emotions to be very confusing.

Neska/ BonesTheHeretic :: A seer, and 'bad guy' She sells futures to people and has not been able to SEE accurately since Kay arrived in Underhill, she wants Kay dead (has only posted 1 time, a few days ago... not really sure if they will keep posting)

Kisha/ KionaRedHawk:: Purple haired character in a tree with good smell sense, and doesn’t like demon, seems to be of the warrior type

Willow/ Cinder Moth:: Willow is 18 years old, with a slim build. She has flat black hair to the middle of her back, which she usually keeps pulled up. Her clothes are normal, and a little on the darker side. Her temperament is unusually calm, except for the one trait that caused her to leave home.

Myra:: Kai La Morte:: Shape shifting Cat Girl, with an inquisitive attitude, and is much older than she appears, Lyre helped raise her

Missy/ Irish Gumbo: She's a mood fairy, and she has power over the elements. Quite the matriarc, but she's been over-ruled in her country so she's searching out a new place to call her own

So far story wise::

Kay wrecked her mother’s truck and was seriously injured. She was saved by Lyre and Kiryn and taken back to Lyres house to get some decent rest. She got very scared and ran away trying to get back to the human world. She soon realized she was stuck in Underhill, and was lost. Kiryn found her, and Lyre found them.... They were on their way back to Lyre's house, when Ceri chanced upon them all. Ceri had been in the human world re-capturing a demon and had just gotten back into Underhill. They all went back to Lyre's home. A demon attacked and Kiryn was poisoned (and Lyre also had an insanity attack and passed out...) Ceri lost control of the demon and tried to attack Kay. Later everyone was doing much better, when another demon showed up. This one was a panther, and is a servant to Ceri's mother. Ceri and Lyre were losing in the fight, and Kiryn was trying to protect Kay (a defenseless human) from the demon by keeping her inside. But Kay was quite silly, and ran out attacking the panther with a vegetable peeler. The Holy Blade, sensing her act of selflessness, transferred to her body. They scared the panther away, for now.
Kay and Ceri were training in the front yard, and Kay had successfully made fire. She released a lot of energy doing it though and it has awakened a demon. Kay and Ceri went inside, and Ceri is bottling up a potion that was made to help fight Ceri's mother. Kay and Kiryn had been sitting in the living area and Lyre had been upstairs, but When Lyre sensed the demon he came down to warn everyone.

A major battle ensued, where Kiryn’s wings were permanently damaged. Kay accessed more of the Blade’s magic, Ceri was also injured badly. Lyre let on some truth about his magic and several new characters showed up: Missy, Kisha and Willow.

Kay Smith slammed the kitchen door for the last time. Her mother had finally gone too far. Of course Kay knew she shouldnt have come home drunk... again. But she was 19 and planned on doing whatever she wanted. She fumbled with the keys to the truck and finally got the old thing running just as her mother came through the door with a phone in her hand screaming something about the police. Kay didnt care though. She was leaving and she was not coming back. Screw my stuff she thought. I can always buy more stuff. She was flying down the road towards town when suddenly she hit a large object in the road. Then she was spinning. Then she really was flying, through the windshield and into the air.... the last thing Kay saw was the empty truck slamming into a tree and going up in flames and the gound rushing up to meet her....


Kay opened her eyes. It was dark out and she couldnt remember where she was. She thought she saw a figure in the darkness near by...

She called out to the figure and waited to see if it would answer.

Nyx was roaming around the Woods for tickleberries. You can never have too much tickleberries. Now, Nyx was the kind of girl who had no sense of direction and time. It wasn't long before Nyx got lost.

She walked and walked, and nibbled on her berries all the while until it got real dark. "Oh dear," she said to herself. "Everyone else is going to be looking for me."

Suddenly, she heard something stirring nearby. More curious than afraid, she went near to look. Apparently, the thing noticed her through the darkness and called out. No way was she going to reveal herself to a stranger. Who knows if it's actually a witch looking for kids to eat? But she was still curious...

"Yes?!" she called out, making sure she wasn't seen.

Lyre watched from the trees, crouching low in one of the higher branches to avoid being seen, as he observed the two females below him. He had gone to investigate a fire that had been close by and then had noticed the two. He had climbed up the tree and quietly wondered if any of these two would stumble upon the entrance to Underhill. The one he had entered the human world from.

((Oh yeah. Just so we're clear...Nyx is a little girl. She's a fairy. You can tell by her transparent wings. Her size is just that of a little human girl her age...Still waiting for Kay to reply though))

((Oh, i should edit my post then...Lyre is an Elf I think...not sure >.>))

Kay heard the voice of a young girl answering. "Can you help me?" Silence greeted her. "I think I might be hurt.... Do you know if anyone has called 911 yet?" Shit,she thoughtMy mother is going to kill me if she knows what I did to her truck. As Kay tried to sit up, pain shot through her side. She called back out to the figure "Yes I deffinetly think Im hurt."

Nyx cocked her head to one side. 911?

"Oh dear. What do I do?" Nyx whispered to herself. She started to think hard.

Hmm...maybe I should just leave her alone...But wouldn't it be bad for me to leave an injured creature alone? Then again, I don't know if she's one of the Good Ones. Hmm...Nyx bit her lip. She heard the thing shout out in pain. Oh dear...

"Uhh...I don't know anyone called Nine-Wan-Wan," she called out. "But I can heal you if you promise not to eat me!"

Kay was shocked at the responce she heard... maybe they were from another country and just didnt speak much english.... at anyrate she didnt want to pass up the help
"Ummm I promise I won't eat you?" She called into the darkness. Then a thought occured to her What if they arent foreign, what if they are a psycopath? Still she didnt feel that she had much choice but to accept their help.

"Okay then!" she said. Child-like as she was, she believed the stranger won't eat her and revealed herself from the darkness. She went near her and took a good look.

The stranger was really pale. Although Nyx was still a little fairy, she was skilled enough to figure out where she was hurt exactly. She lifted up the stranger's clothing------and very strange clothing it was-----and noticed the different bruises and cuts.

"Well, it ain't so bad after all!" she told the stranger. "Just some bruises here and there and you've got a HUGE wound on the side but nothing I could not fix!"

((Oh I do suppose a description of Kay would be handy. She is human, of course, and is 19 years old. She is of average height and weight. Her eyes are green and her hair is mousy brown.))

Kay stared in disbelief at the child approaching her... "YOU are going to help me?! Sweety where is your mothe--" Kay noticed the wings on the girls back shimmering faintly in the moon light. I must have really hit my head. Maybe I am in the hospital right now on some really fancy painkillers and none of this is real. She reached out towards the little girls wings. "Hey kid, those real?"

Nyx made a pout. "Of course, they're real, see?" And Nyx tried to flap her slightly transparent wings but only managed a twitch. She blushed. "Okay...so maybe I can't fly...yet---but I will! Someday..." Nyx bit her lip. I hope...she added to herself. She knew she wasn't the brightest of her bunch but she shook the thought away and concentrated at the stranger in front of her.

Nyx put her hands to her hips. "Now, are you done bein' rude or do you want me to leave you here all by your lonesome?"

((Hmm...I guess Nyx looks like a typical, sweet, blonde little girl with blue eyes. Pale skin of course. Looks about 10. Wears a little white dress and some boots since she can't fly...She kind-of glows))

Ok I really hope its just some crazy pain killers now Kay thought after watching the little girl twitch the wings. "Umm yeah Im done being rude... So how exactly are you going to help me... Uh I didnt catch your name bat girl...."

((Kay is a fairly dense character that has never really believed in faerie stories and will only slowly realize what it is that has happened to her :D))

"My name is Nyx!" she made a face. "And I am not a bat! Bat Girls' have black, ugly wings, stupid. I'm a Fairy!" she pointed to her slightly twitching wings. "ANYONE can tell I'm a Fairy! And, of course, I'm goin' to use Fairy Dust to heal you. That's what Fairies do. Healing people. Now, if you don't mind, I'm gonna sprinkle a little bit on that nasty wound of yours...there! You should be okay now!" Nyx blinked. "Maybe a bit more...Wait...A little bit more...Hmm..." Nyx blinked again. "Uhh..."

In truth, Nyx forgot how much Fairy Dust to use on a wound. Like I said, she wasn't the brightest of her bunch. Maybe she won't notice anything...She does seem kinda clueless. Nyx bit her lip.

Lyre couldn't help but let out a laugh as he dropped from the branch he had been perched on, "Do you need help little one?" He questioned softly, his voice taking on a comforting tone as he moved towards the two females. She must have been one of the newer fairies to be so confused like that...especially since she didn't look like she could fly yet.

((Lyre has a tall build and looks about 18 but he's definitely older than that. He has pale baby blue hair that usually falls in front of his face and brushes about a little past shoulder length. He also has pointed ears XD obviously. His eyes are silvery in color and he has a slim androgynous figure. He normally wears vests and baggy cargo pants with chain adornments.))

Nyx jumped at the sudden sound. When she saw it was an Elf, she felt relieved. One of the Good Ones. Still...she wasn't going to admit that she possibly made a mistake.

"No, thank you," she said stubbornly. "I'm doing just fine! I AM a Fairy after all. I know what I'm doing..." her voice trailed off along with her confidence. She shooed the Elf away and turned back to the stranger. Nyx remembered her basket full of tickleberries completely ignoring the Elf. "Tickleberry?"

((she's a real stubborn little Fairy))

Kay stared at Nyx. What is she putting on my side? It kind of burns.... "I dont think your "fairy dust" works dear. Maybe you should go get your Mommy fairy instead." Kay couldnt believe that of all the nights to get in a car crash, it had to be when she had been drinking, and had to be on a night when some little girl was determined to play make-believe.

But then she heard someone else up in a tree, and saw a tall pointed eared person jump from the tree. And BLUE hair?! Kay thought, Oh God, Ive landed in the middle of a freak fest! Kay decided her best chance at this point was pinning her luck on the pain meds in some hospital she hoped she still might be in and prayed that no more fairy creatures came out to play.

Nope still not waking up. She looked closer at Pointy Ears and hoped he was less of a nut that Nyx. "Umm Hi. My name is Kay and I was in a truck that crashed. I think Im hurt. Can you please call 911. Im not a part of this dress up game you all seem to be playing. Can you please help me?" Kay realized she had tried talking to much. Her side started to throb and she felt like she was going to black out. She gasped, "Please."

Lyre frowned, "Dress...up...game..." I suppose that that's what we seem like to humans. Fairy tales and nothing more. He sighed and then bent down so he could look at the human female...Kay's wound. "It's nothing I can't treat...with the right supplies." He scooped the girl into his arms softly and stood to his full height, "I don't think she wants any tickleberries little one. Come, the sun is starting to rise, we had better get back to Underhill now."

((I'm just going with the assumption that Nyx lives in Underhill also ^^))

Kay looked up at the person carrying her. Since he seemed so confident in his ability to heal her she decided that maybe he was a med student when he wasnt playing dress-up in the woods. But she thought she heard him say Underhill. "Sir, did I hear you correctly?"
When she realized that he was carrying her further into the woods rather than out, Kay knew she had heard correctly. She knew her night was about to get alot stranger, and she fought to stay conscious. "OK look, I dont care where we are going, just hurry, the pain is too much."

"Of course my dear, I think it would be best to treat your wounds as soon as possible, it's just a little ways off." Lyre said, shifting his hold carefully so as not to jar her wounds. He had tried that once, rushing to get back to Underhill and in his haste had missed the opening and it had taken him twice the amount of time it usually did. He knew better now and took his time.

As Kay drifted in and out of consciousness, she realized that the man carrying her had slowed down considerably. She realized they were coming to a clearing and a hill, but something was off. A patch of undergrowth at the edge looked hazy,Not in a hazy, forgot to put my contacts in hazy either Kay thought Its almost like it isnt completely here.

That certain patch looked like it was only half there because it was in between. It exhists half in the mortal world and half in Underhill. It was towards that patch Kay was being carried.

Truck? Dress up? Nyx was all confused at what the stranger, Kay, was talking about.

She made a pout when Kay chose the Elf's help rather than hers. "Humph!" But when she heard the Elf was going to take them to Underhill, she let out a sigh of relief. Nyx didn't think she could make it out of the woods without someone's help. She held the Elf's belt in one hand, afraid of being left behind and the other, with her basket of tickleberries. It didn't take long before Nyx saw the familiar patch, the entrance to Underhill.

As they all waited for the entrance to open up, Nyx looked back at the half-conscious Kay and then at the Elf. "Sir Elf? Is that woman a witch?" She just had to ask.
