"Is your mother alright with it though? All you're doing for us... I feel as if we are only burdening you, and I can't do much to repay the gesture until my leg heals. I'd rather be able to pay you back for your kindness.... It isn't found often anymore, after all." She smiled to him, still in a weak manner but more genuine then was usual for her. When the door opened, she wheeled herself out to the best of her ability. "Truly, though, thank you."

"She is, she actually suggested it when I brought Janice to her." Drake smiled happily. "Don't worry about repaying the gesture, just focus on getting better." He watched as she wheeled herself out of the elevator. "You're truely welcome," Drake paused for a moment, "Would you like me to come with you to the dining room?" Drake asked holding the elevator open with his foot.

"If it wouldn't be a bother, I could use the direction. I have no idea where I'm going. And... I thought we were going to the kitchen. I can't get actual food if I just go to a table, after all. Tables aren't edible last time I checked!" She laughed slightly, her eyes grazing the area out of curiosity meanwhile.

Drake laughed. "Kitchen right, same difference" he finished and stepped out of the elevator. "The dining room is attached to the kitchen and you just have to sit in a chair and someone comes into the dining room to see what you wish to eat. Kind of spoiled like, but it was my sister's idea...my parents got used to it and decided to keep the feature." Drake shrugged he thought it was kind of odd himself. "Tables aren't edible... yet." he said widening his eyes, then closing them to a regular size and laughing at his foolishness.

Chloe laughed in response, simply shaking her head. "I don't want to be served though. I like serving others food, not being served it. That's why I rarely go out to eat. It feels too... I don't know... Off." Trying to shrug away the thought, she began to follow him more closely as he was speaking with her, hoping to not get lost when following him around a place she didn't know.

"Fine..." His voice trailed with a little laugh at the end. "Here let me push you." Drake said and went behind her grabbing the handles on the back of her chair. He smiled and went at a pleasant pace not fast, but not sluggish either. Drake wanted to get her there, but didn't want to make Chloe sick before she ate.

Chloe smiled to him softly, weakly watching the area ahead. She didn't necessarily need to be pushed, though she'd admit it was easier on her when she wasn't fighting with the wheels of the chair herself. However, she felt bad making him do that for her instead. "Will you be eating too? You should make sure you eat enough so you won't get sick or anything from lack of nutrition."

"I think I will eat, but before I do I wish to find your daughter Janice, we don't want her to go starving do we?" He said starting off serious, but ending on a funny note. Drake pushed Chloe to an area that was very clean, shiny almost, pots dangling from the ceiling and draws on every visible surface, spice racks everywhere and a few people working in the kitchen area. Drake looked at the biggest guy in the room and told him, "You all can have until dinnertime to yourselves." he smiled and patted the chef on the shoulder. With that all the people in white coats exited the room, Chloe and Drake had free reign.
"Can you wait here while I go and find Janice? It'll only take a few moments, I've been thinking and I'm pretty positive I know where she is." Drake smiled with a chesire cat grin.

Chloe looked at him, watching the chefs leave before just nodding to the man nearby. "It's fine. I'll wait- though I can't guarantee I won't try to find some water or something for myself while I do so. I'd cook while you were gone, but... Can't really reach much right now, so you don't have to worry about me sneaking around the kitchen for much." She quietly added, "Have fun finding Janny~ She really does seem happy to play with you."

Drake smiled, "I'll be back as fast as lightening." He winked and pointed to a fridge, "Water and whatever else kind of drink you could want is in there." with that he ran off to find Janice.

'Somewhere small,' He thought, 'Closet... smaller... shelf... bigger... hmm.' He tried to think small, which was hard for a guy who's height is 5 foot 9. "Cabinet?" he said out loud as some cleaners passed him with odd looks. He ran around looking in cabinets all over the place.

Chloe rolled over to the fridge, taking out a bottle of fresh water and opening it as she made sure the fridge door got tightly shut. She took a slight sip of it, sighing quietly to herself. "I hope he finds her alright."

Janice hid in the little closet compartment, giggling quietly to herself. She didn't know how long it'd been, but it'd been quite a while in her opinion. I hope mister is okay...! Her hiding continued, though not as quietly as it had been originally.

Drake heard a noise, not being to determine what it was he tried to find the source of the noise, Maybe it's Janice. he thought to himself and smiled hunting for the noise he had heard.

Janice continued to giggle aimlessly inside her hiding place. Though she was starting to feel the effects of sitting in one position too long, her legs falling asleep right near to her, she did her best not to notice them, just continuing to wait. "Mister hasn't found me yet?" She was somewhat surprised. Very, in fact.

Drake heard her voice, he pulled open the last cabinet looking place he could think of, "Aha! Found you!" He screamed lightly, delighted he had found her, though it had taken a while.

She laughed playfully, crawling out of the cabinet when he opened it and hugging onto his leg. "Yay! Mister found me!" She smiled up at him. "Mister wins! Mister wins! Right? Mister wins?" She clung to him, looking at him curiously from below.

Drake looked at his watch, "No you win, I took too long." He laughed lightly, "Time to go to the kitchen your mom's down in the kitchen, waiting for us" He took her hand "Let's go" Drake smiled at the little girl. He didn't look anything like her mother, 'Odd' he thought and let the thought slip from his mind after that.

Janice happily kept hold of his hand, smiling back. "Mommy likes kitchens! She also likes food!" She laughed. "I like food too though. Mister, does Mister like food?" She never noticed his look of thoughtfulness- then again, she wouldn't notice even if she was trying. She was too small to.

He looked down at her, "Of course I do, silly." He poked her lightly on the nose. "Let's take the stairs, we can slide down the railing... don't tell your mommy though, we may get in trouble....so hold on." He put Janice behind him on the railing, "Hold on" Drake let his feet slip from where they were holding onto the railing and went spiraling down the staircase down to the bottom.

Janice had no idea quite what was going on, but simply giggled uncontrollably on the way down the spiraling case of stairways that they slid on. She jumped off at the bottom, running over to Drake again, smiling up at him. "That was fun! Fun, fun, fun! Like a roller coaster thingy!"

Drake smiled, "Yea. Like a rollercoaster thingy. Lets go to the kitchen." He held out his hand for Janice to take so they could go to the kitchen.

Janice smiled, staying close by while hugging his leg rather than holding the hand he'd offered. "Kay!" She was excited to see her mother- and possibly eat.

Drake smiled and started walking to the kitchen. "So who's hungry?" He asked once they reached the kitchen.

Janice clapped, agreeing happily. "I am! I am! Food please! I want burgers! Burgers!"

((Mene went down for the day because someone aciddently deleted a huge thread and had to recover it.. causing everything.. including gold to dissapear*))

"Burgers? Alrighties then, What do you like on a burger?" Drake looked at Chloe "And what would you like?" He smiled and tossed a chef hat on his head messily. Then tosses on to Chloe, "You like to cook too, right?" He winked at her.

((Oh boy. Well at least it makes sense now. Unfortunately x-x))

Chloe laughed as she took the hat from him and playfully tapped it onto her head. When done, she shook her head. "Cooking's my life. Well, generally." She smiled a bit more, thinking. "I think I'd like a burger too. Hm... Got any ground meat to make the patties?"
