Mai raised her eyes to Katara when she thanked her. "Your welcome," she said in an emotionless voice then turned around to go back and pick up her own bags. She walked towards Azula with them.

"Ok let's put all the extra bags and the tents over here," Azula yelled to the others while she pointed at a huge bush near by. Her stuff was already hidden away in it. She had her bag tied to her back and the map was in her other hand. Mai walked passed her and hid her own bags and folded up tent in the bushes.

Zuko walked over to his stuff and after picking it all up he placed them along with Mai's and Azula's things. When he was done Azula handed him the map she was holding and he tucked it into his belt. Then all three waited for Ty Lee to add her stuff to their's so they could be off to Aurako.

Ty Lee then added her stuff and was reading to go. Ty Le, had packed what she needed into two bags, that she tie up and wore on her back.

Katara waited and didn't say much as they hide everything. She waited for them to lead the way. She followed after them, and kept an eye on the area around them.

Zuko led the way in the opposit direction of the lake they went to earlier. He didn't need the map so he kept it tucked into his belt. As they trudged on through the forest he kept silent as did the others. When they had been walking for an hour or so he finally heard city noises ahead. "Were almost there I can hear the city." He picked up his pace a bit and after a few minutes stepped passed the tree line and onto a dirt road that led into the city.

Mai suddenly thought of something when teh city came into view and walked up to Zuko. "We should cover our faces. We don't want them to accidently see us and flee," she whispered to him.

As Azula was coming up from behind Zuko she heard Mai and replied before her brother could. "Even though I hate the thought of hiding, Mai's right. Everyone get a cloak out and put it on with the hood up." She looked through her bag for hers and put it on. The big hood covering her face in shadows. Mai and Zuko followed her lead and did the same. Turning around Azula looked at Katara. "So do you think we should stay on the outskirts of the city or would they be stupid and go deep into the center?"

Ty Lee pulled out her cloak and fastened it on, and then pulled the hood up.

Katara pulled a cloak out of the bag she had been given. She put it on, if the others saw her, it wouldn't do so well. " At first they might stay to the outskirts, but the would most likely send Sokka, and Toph into town, to buy supplies while the made him stay out of the main part, but he likes to wander into town." Katara told her. She knew with a town this big, it would be best if they spilt up, but she wanted to give Azula, the thought she controlled the group, for now.

Azula nodded in thought. "We are to split up. Mai, Ty Lee, and myself will take the outskirts of town. Zuko you and Katara will be heading into the center of town." She looked around the group then added, "Zuko if you find the Avatar send a blast of fire into the air and if we find him I will send a blast of lightning into the air." She then began to walk away not seeing if Mai and Ty Lee followed her.

Zuko turned toward Katara. "You ready?" he asked her.

Ty Lee followed after her. She was use to things being this way.

Katara looked at Zuko, a dark smile played across her lips. " More than ready" She told him.

Toph walked along side Sokka through the city's streets, they were dressed like fire nation citizens. They had also left Aang in a safe place. He hasn't been the same since they had escaped from the traders, and lost Katara, but it seemed Aang wwas hiding something, that much Toph knew.

Mai turned around and followed after Ty Lee and Azula.

Zuko laughed darkly at Katara's readiness. "Then let's go." He turned and walked down the road and into the city. Looking to Katara he spoke in a low voice. "We should start at the center and work our way out. I assume they will be wearing fire nation clothes to blend in." He continued on to the center of the city while looking around his face hidden from sight by his hood.

Aang was bored all by himself when Toph and Sokka left and was in a dark mood. He kept thinking back to the day he sold Katara and felt bad. Quit! You did what was best. Everyone needs you.. he thought to himself. Not wanting to sit around he took off from the small hut Toph and Sokka left him at. He had a firenation hat on to cover his avatar mark.

" Of course, but they should be easy to find. " Katara told him. She followed him, her eyes scanned the area but she was kept hidden by the cloak. She hadn't seen any of them yet.

Sokka led the way buying meat, and other things, normally Katara would be there with them nagging about what he should be buying, and acting but she wasn't. Aang had told them, she was missing or something like that. Things felt off without his sister, and it put him in a sour mood. He was suppose to protect her and he losted her.

" I'm sure she fine" Toph said. She knew how he felt, she sighed, she knew once they got back to Aang, she would have demand he tell her what'd he was hiding and what really happened to Katara.

As Azula was walking she kept her eyes out and looked around everywhere but didn't make it look suspicious.

From the many folds in her dress Mai pulled out a couple of her throwing knives and palmed them in her hands, so no one could see them as she walked along side of Azula.

Zuko kept scanning the area as he walked on, trying to catch a glimpse of them.

As Aang kept walking he began to go deeper and deeper into the city not really paying attention to anything around himself. He was so distracted by his thoughts about Katara. Not wanting to think about it he shook his head trying to clear his thoughts but couldn't. Aang felt so horrible about what happened, but yet he the thought of going back for her never crossed his mind.

Katara still couldn't see a sign of them, it was upsetting her. She knew they were here, and she didn't want to wait forever to make him pay.

Toph took a few more steps and suddenly sensed Aang in the area. " Sokka, Aang is here" She told him. She could also feel his distress and she knew they had to go get him before he did something stupid.

" What" He said. He looked around and spotted Aang, he the grabbed Toph's arm as to not lose her in the crowd and followed after him.

Katara then saw them. " Zuko, found them" She said motioning towards them.

Zuko stopped when Katara spoke and looked to where she motioned towards them. After seeing them he grinned under his hood. Placing a hand on Katara's shoulder so they wouldn't get lost he began towards them, but at an angle so it didn't look like they were headed directly after them.

Walking with his head down Aang didn't notice any of the people following him. He was just to preoccupied by his thoughts and continued on. He was now heading to the out skirts of town where there was less people around him.

Azula kept walking around looking, with Mai and Ty Lee following her. She didn't know it yet but she was walking in the direction of the Avatar, so when the time came her and her group would be at his front while Zuko and Katara would be at his back.

Sokka caught up with Aang and grabbed his arm. " What are you doing?" He asked Aang.

"You know it's not safe for you to walk around like this" Toph told him. She sensed someone that she knew but she couldn't place the person.

Katara smiled, and followed Zuko's lead, and soon the two of them where on their tail.

Aang glanced down to his arm where Sokka was holding him and then shook him off. He looked to Toph with a blank stare. "It's not safe anywhere for me. What am I suppose to do? Hide for the rest of my life?"

Keeping a fast pace and an eye on the Avatar and his group, soon Zuko and Katara came up behind them. A few yards away Zuko came to a stop and pulled Katara to a stop. "Should we confront them? Or just attack? It's up to you." While he was talking he kept his voice low and his eyes on the Avatar.

" We are attacking now, give your sister the sign" She told him before uncapping her water pouch.

" Even so, we have to keep you safe the whole world fate rest on your shoulders." Sokka told him.

Katara pulled that water into a whip, and launched it at them. " Then, the world's in great trouble" She said darkly.

Zuko laughed darkly then shot a burst of fire into the air. After he did it long enough for his sister to see it he began to walk towards the group lowering his hood as he went. His hands were fist at his sides ready to strike a firey blow.

Aang dodged the water whip that came at him. After he turned back to look at his attacker he couldn't see their face but the voice sounded familiar. To familiar.. "Katara...?" He took a step foward with his hand streatched out towards her.

A few feet ahead of herself Azula saw fire in the air and knew her brother had found the Avatar. She looked towards the girls with her and grinned wickedly. "They have found the Avatar. Let's go." She began to run towards a building. She kew the Avatar was behind it and she grinned even more wickedly.

Mai had no emotion as she followed Azula. While she was running she unpalmed the blades she had in her hands. She always loved to get her anger out with fighting.

Katara pulled the water back, and ran it around her, and then shot it at them again. She didn't answer when Aang called her name.

" Katara!?!" Sokka cried out confused. He couldn't see who was attacking them, but it was a water bender.

Toph stopped her feet on the ground shooting rocks at Zuko.

Ty Lee ran following the other two girls. She was ready, her fighting style didn't take much preparing.

Aang sent a blast of wind towards the water whip so it didn't hit him. Then he sent another blast at Katara knocking her hood off so they could see her face. "Katara what are you doing!?" Aang yelled to her.

Zuko swiped his hand in the air and a blast of fire shot from it knocking the rocks away or burning them until the were no more. He then kicked his foot out sending another burst of fire towards Toph.

Azula could hear the fighting now and picked up her speed. Her and the girls only had a few more feet to go then they would be there.

Toph sent up a rock wall around her self blocking the fire attack. " Katara what are you doing!?!?" She yelled.

" Katara stop this" Sokka yelled grasping one of his weapons.

Katara laughed darkly, she didn't answer though. Her eyes narrowed, and she summoned back her water and added more to it, She launched a bunch of water like razor whips at Aang, moving towards him.



Ty Lee kepted her pace with the others, and could have beaten them there, but didn't want to get there before Azula.

Mad at the wall Zuko sent blast after blast at it, slowly taking layer by layer down. He focused on making his fire as hot as possible.

Backing up Aang kept sending blasts of air at the water so it wouldn't hit him. He could make himself fight Katara, not after what he did. She was his friend and he let her down. "Katara please! Please stop this!" He shouted to her.

Coming around the corner Azula laughed darkly and came to a stop. She was right behind the group. With his back to her Azula sent a streak of lightning at the wall Toph had up.

Mai ran passed Azula and threw one of her throwing knives at Sokka. Rigth after she threw it she had another blade in her hand. It seemed as if it can out of thin air, Mai was very killed with knives.

Toph felt Azula came into the area, and soon had another stone wall up blocking the lighting. Once the lighting hit it, it broke into pieces, flying around, but Toph wasn't there anymore.

Sokka moved slighly and was nearly hit by the knife, he sent his weapon towards May.

Ty Lee jumped into the area, and went rushing towards Sokka ready to block his chi and make his useless.

Katara kepted attacking, " GIVE ME ONE REASON WHY!" She demand. She then changed some of the water into sharp ice shards and sent them flying at Aang.

Zuko and his sister stood there watching the place Toph had just dissapeard from. Looking up to his sister he frowned then looked around trying to locate her while Azula did the same.

Mai ducked when Sokka's weapon came her way, then rolled away and back to her feet ready to throw another blade when she saw Ty Lee rushing at him. She lowered her blade not wanting to hit her friend.

Aang grimaced when a shard of ice hit him and grazed his arm leaving a cut behind. He used his own water bending abilities to absorbe the rest of the ice shards into a ball of water in his hand. "Were your friends. Why are you with them and doing this?" Aang didn't want to attack her so he waited for her to attack again, but if she kept it up he would have to fight.

" Why?, Why!?! You have to ask why!?! Really my friend, how stupid do you think I am. Your the one that sold me, last time I check friends don't do that" She screamed before launching an attack.

Sokka froze when he heard what Katara yelled, he turned to look at Aang. " You did what?" He cried out.

Ty Lee took that chance to hit Sokka's chi's spots and send him crashing to the ground.

" What?" Toph cried out as she appeared behind Azula. She send a tremor towards Azula and Zuko.

Laughing darkly Azula launced herself in the air as Toph reappeared and landed on a patch of ground that wasn't trembling. She sent more lightning towards Toph.

Zuko wasn't as ready as Azula was and got caught in the tremors. He finally caught his balance and jumped clear of the tremors. He ran towards Toph sending blasts of fire at her.

Aang hung his head in shame and backed away. He blocked all of Katara's attacks but didn't attack back still.

Toph had manged to avoid the lighting, but was hit by Zuko's fire. She got his by her right side. She flew to the ground, in pain. " Aang, you have to run" Toph yelled.


Katara kept attacking Aang, not stopping.

Sokka was on the ground in pain, with Ty Lee staring down at him.

Azula smirked as she watched Toph get hit by her brothers fire. Then looked at the Avatars and Katara's fight. The waterbender was doing good.

Zuko walked towards Toph and shouted to the Avatar. "Oh no Aang stay and play!"

Shaking his head to Toph, Aang kept blocking Katara's attacks though some were slipping through and injuring him attack by attack. He sent a powerful blast of air at her. "I will not run! Katara were your friends please stop. Please!" The Avatar was wearing down on his resolve of not attacking back.
