A young boy was told he was to marry a girl when she had turn 17, he truly loves her but he holds a deep dark secret that could change how she thought about him. He is too shy to tell her the truth, now he has to chose what will he do? will he chose to live his life as a human with the girl?

Lucifer

A young girl who must marry this man who she has never met, but he scares her by how distant he is. She wants to make her family happy so she decides to marry him. She is shy and nervous around people she dosn't know. She is only 17.

Lucifer sits on his bed in his room thinking about hating himself why he had to be born a half vampire. His parents had died because the village people had started a riot against them since his father was a pure blooded vampire he had to suck on the blood of innocent people. While his mother was branded a traitor for falling in love with a human."Why?.....why was i born to suffer this curse!?" He scream.

Vayn knocked on her new husbands door. They had just married an hour ago, then he had rushed everyone out of his castle and locked himself in his room. She was worried that he was upset that she wasn't pretty enough, or smart enough. "Lucifer are you okay?" She asked hearing his muffeled yelling.

"Go......away! I'm fine!" His voice ruff with pain, you can hear the slight blood lust in him, eating away at his humanity. "Please! just go away!.....I'm trying to protect you! please I dont want you to end up like me!" All of a sudden there was an intense pain in his mouth, as his fangs started to show.

"Lucifer, please let me in! I don't care if you want to protect me. I..I...I love you. And I have since the day we first met last fall!" She yelled pounding on the door. "I know what you are! And I still love you!" She yelled Still pounding so hard it started to make her hand bleed.

Lucifer rushes towards the door quickly opens it and grabs Vayn's hand. "You.....you knew? when?" staring into her eyes, Lucifer's necklace starts to glow for a second, then, he suddenly started to get light-headed and collapses. With Lucifer on unconscious his fangs start to disappear and the glowing necklace stopped.

"Lucifer!" Vayn yelled falling on her knees beside him. She bit her arm so it would bleed and held it over his mouth so some would trickle out. She had read that this could rejuvenate vampires. But she was unsure if it would work.

As the blood tripped into his mouth Lucifer started to regain consciousness, he looked up and saw Vayn bleeding. "Vayn! stop! please dont! you dont have to do this!" Trying to resist taking the blood she was giving him. "If....If the villagers find out!...." As he contiued to scream, he was slowly getting more tired, his breathing started to increase dramaticly, and his fangs again started to show.

"Just drink, My love. They can all go to hell in a hand basket. You are all I care about." Vyan said pressing her wrist against his mouth.

Lucifer gets up and with one hand on the wall, slowly makes his way to the balcony. He stands there and looks up to the sky. "Vayn.......I love you." Then he sat down there and started to cry. "Vayn...Vayn you...you dont know how it feels...I'm not able to go with you when you leave this castle during the day. I hate being what I am! I dont want you to become like me, I dont want you to suffer the way I do!" He lifts his shirt to show her the bite marks all over his body.

Vyan walks over and kneels in front of him. She places her delicate hand on her chin and pushes her head to the side exposing her neck by taking her hair in the other hand. "Take me. Make me what you are." She whispered resting her head on his shoulder.

Lucifer stares at Vayn as he contiues to cry. As he cried he was wasting how much time he had and had feel asleep right how Vayn's lap. As he was sleeping, the sun had started to come over the horizon, and his skin slowly started to burn, being completely asleep Lucifer couldnt feel the pain.

Vyan gasped and dragged him over to the bed and drew the steal shutters over the widow. She laid next to him slowly stroking his cheek. She loved this vampire, even if he might kill her...She slowly feel asleep since she had been up all night with him.

Later on in the day Lucifer woke up feeling better. He looked over to the side noticing that Vyan was sleeping right next to her. He suddenly remember what happened last night. "I'm sorry....." He goes to the closet and gets dressed completely so that no part of his body execpt his face showed. He went over to Vyan and kissed her. He left the castle to go to his mother's grave, as he walked to the grave he always stopped for a rest in the shade for the moment.

Vayn woke up and found herself alone. She sat up and sighed. thinking that maybe he was afraid of hurting her and had left she got up and walked to the balcony, fully prepared to throw herself over.

As Lucifer was walking back through the gates of the castle he notices Vayn standing on the balcony, he gasped. "What are you doing!? the entire village will know about me being a vampire if i get her, no choice then." With all his strength he jumps up to the balcony and grabs her, leaving the ground damaged with cracks. "What were you thinking Vayn?!"

Vyan looked at him with tearful eyes. "I thought you left me since I asked to be changed." She said softly.

Lucifer stayed slienct for a while. "Do you really want to know why I wouldn't change you? It was true that I love you and I didnt want you to suffer as well.....but.....its also because if you turn not only will you suffer along with me, but then everything I've worked for was for nothing..." As he walked over to the bed he reached under and grabbed a book. "This book, are my research notes...I have been working on a way to bring myself...back to normal I dont want to be a vampire anymore!" He grabs his own arm and bites it from the anger he felt towards himself.

"Lucifer stop, don't hurt yourself. Hurt me...Hurt someone else..But don't harm your beautiful body." She said placing her hand on his arm.

Lucifer gasped. Looking at her hand drenched in his blood. "Vayne....why?.....why do you protect me?" He said softly. "Aren't you afraid to die?" Staring into her eyes, suddenly he started to cough up blood. "Oh no....I guess that jump really took its toll on me." Lucifer said gasping to catch his breath.

"Lucifer, please. I know what you need, drink from me." Vyan said pressing her shoulder closer to his mouth, she was worried that her new husband would die before they even could celebrate there matrimony.

"Vayn......follow me. I have to show you something." As Lucifer slowly made his way to the door, he fell from the the lack of engery he used to make the large jump.

running to grab him before he feel, she noted how weak he was, she sighed and kissed his cheek. "You are weak, you need to feed. Please Lucifer, I don't want to lose you." She sighed tears coming from her eyes.

"Vayn...if i am going to feed on anyone.....please dont let me feed on you, i will feed but on anyone else. I love you too much to lose you because of me." Lucifer slowly got up and kept on walking towards the door so he could show her a secret he has been keeping.
