Alana sat on a cliff overlooking a lava pit. On her wrists were chain bracelets. She wore them not out of choice but out of force. Satan was making sure she wouldnt escape from him this time. It was not hard for him to pull her back but she fought and fought hard. She hated being his slave. She wanted to be an angel again but she knew she would never achieve this. No matter how hard she tried god would not take her back. She stared into the bubbling pool with wide eyes. It was so pretty. She rolled her eyes as she heard her name called. She stood up and walked to the devil with a frown. Her black winged feathers ruffled slightly. She was quite pretty. Her red hair flowed behind her and her green eyes were bright. Satan grinned at her and made her sit down. She sighed. She knew that he wanted her to watch his daily procession of enslaved souls. She wondered if she would meet anyone of interest today.

Ryuu could feel the unfamiliar chains wrapped around his arms that had one end held by one of satan's 'dogs', something the time demon usually called them, and more chains wrapped painfully around his own dark feathered wings. He wasn't entirely sure exactly how it was Satan had managed to gain the soul of the independent time demon, after all Time Demons were born outside the realm of the Devil's control. Although they were demons they held no true loyalty, but rather usually kept to themselves. On occasion they would offer their unique powers to the highest bidder, usually doing some small menial task such as wiping out the existance of another or altering a detail in the past that would change their 'client's' life in some way. Ryuu's 'client' this time had been the ruler of Hell, and though he had been hestitant to accept the task he still did. Of course look where it got him now. Chained and shackled with his freedom stripped.

A sharp tug brought the demon out of his thoughts as he was signaled to walk. Black rebellious eyes, that were usually distant and detached looking, glared ahead, though directed at no one. Typically the demon would simply open a portal to rid himself of the humiliation he was about to, and currently was, experiencing. However Satan had appeared to forsee such a thing as the chains seemed to be made especially for the time demon, locking and sealing his power within him causing the black dragon tattoo on the side of his face to glow angrily. He could clearly feel the heat of nearby lava pools caressing his pale skin in a rather uncomfortable fashion as the chains about his wings prevented him from wrapping them protectively about him, and his semi long black hair could only protect so much of his face. His clothing was dark, black and decently heavy, so it naturally only seemed to bring more uncomfortable heat to reign down upon the demon.

Another sharp tug and a hoarse command of 'Look at your master when you're before him boy' caused the glaring eyes to be directed upward to look upon the giant, horned, red man seated smugly atop his dark and pointy throne. A low growl began to escape the throat of the demon until his eyes beheld the woman seated with him. She looked rather beautiful and out of place beside the devil. It wasn't her beauty though that caused Ryuu to cease his growl before it escaped, but rather the fact that she too seemed to hold chains about her wrists, and though they appeared to be the shape of bracelets, the time demon couldn't help but believe that she too appeared to be held now against her will.

Alana looked at the demon that was in front of her with a grimace. She knew very well how evil the devil could be and that given the chance he would enslave anyone and everyone. She sighed quietly as she studied him. Her red hair blending in very well with the lava surrounding her. Her green eyes of course shone up very bright as they did not suit the deep pit in which she found herself. She repositioned herself more comfortably. She wondered what it was the devil wanted with this demon before them. She couldnt guess what kind of powers he possessed but she was curious as to how he had been ensnared. She looked up at the devil and watched closely to see what his temperment was toward this demon.

"Ryuu Welcome back to my humble abode. I have missed you so much. You are always so entertaining to watch. Like watching a dragon in a small cage."

He grinned ruthlessly knowing very well he had the upper hand.

Ryuu's glare returned and remained trained upon the devil as he spoke. "Repugnant and pathetic as always. Are you truly so fearful that you must keep this 'dragon' in such a small cage? Do I honestly scare you that much, that you must ensnare me like some rabies infected dog? What is your purpose for capturing me and forcing me to serve you? I am a time demon and meant to have no master" he said, his tone laced with ice despite the rather warm surroundings. An aura of anger and repressed menace surrounded the demon.

The slight movement of the woman beside Satan caught the demon's attention for a few moments, causing his black eyes to wander to her yet again. She truly was stunning and he did wonder for a moment what sort of relation she had with him. He also wondered for a moment what sort of demon she was as well. It wasn't long before he suddenly felt a sharp tug on the chains that bound him that forced him to his knees. "Respect your master" the 'dog' beside him snapped.

The devil growled some and grinned seeing Ryuu stare at Alana. He suddenly grabbed Alana by her chains and levitated her high into the air by her wrists with his mighty demonic powers. He pushed her over a lava pit and watched her agony with a grin. He did so love to torture people.

Alana felt her body fly upward and gasped as she was pulled to the lava pit. She kept her eyes downcast hoping that whatever the devil had planned did not include a lava bath. She felt tears well up and glanced at this demon called Ryuu. She opened her mouth to say something but felt pressure as if someone was forceing her throat to tighten enough she couldnt talk. She cried silent tears as she thought about the pain that was about to encase her. She had been dipped in lava before. It never killed her but it hurt her greatly.

Ryuu was both surprised and not by Satan's actions. The woman had appeared to be a rather special demon, since she had sat so close to the Lord of Hell so he couldn't quite understand why he would torture her as much as he seemed to. He didn't like seeing tears flowing down her face as to him they seemed unbefitting of her. "You know I've just been reminded what it is about you I despise the most. You torture those that have no reason to be tortured" he said in a cold tone as his gaze slipped from the woman and rested once more on the devil. It was clear he didn't condone what he was doing. After all it didn't appear the woman had done anything to bring reason for her to be tortured.

After fixing Satan with one more glare he had to turn his gaze away. Instead his glare became focused on one of the chains as if his glare could melt them and set free his powers over time and possibly free the woman. In a test he moved his hand that was chain and once more recieved a sharp tug from the one holding his chains.

Satan laughed letting Alana fall on the ground. He made sure to scare her enough to make her cry and that was always entertaining to him.

"Alana is my special pet. She is after all a fallen one. I treasure her the most because I hope eventually to also get her angelic daughter."

He laughed loudly as if he had made a huge joke.

Alana fell roughly to the ground and kept herself from crying out. She heard him mention her daughter and stood up glaring at him.

"You will never get my daughter. Not in a hundred million years. Talitha knows not to come down here to save me and she will never make the mistake I did. Dante is dead now and you have me. Leave my daughter alone."

She was screaming tears falling down her cheeks. She hated the idea of her daughter suffering like she was. She forgot about Ryuu and all she wanted was to make sure her daughter would forever be safe from this evil creature and all the things she had done to cause herself to be doomed down here.

Ryuu glanced up at the woman. She was indeed brave for speaking up in such a manner to the devil. When he had heard Satan mention that the woman was his 'special pet' he thought perhaps she was in some ways broken down, he was glad that he was wrong. He had a feeling, that if he had any way of possibly interacting with the woman and away from the Lord of Hell, that he and should would possibly get along well. After all from what he could understand she seemed to despise Satan, perhaps as much as he did.

"Your lust will one day be your downfall. And besides I doubt the likes of you would even be able to tempt an angel down into the pit of Hell. You're a disgusting monster who will one day suffer for your indiscretions and enslavements" he spat out bitterly as his glare returned and was again directed unto Satan. He knew that at the moment any threates he made were currently empty due to the chains containing his power. He also knew that the devil knew this fact as well.

At Alanas outburst the devil broke out in a laugh. When Ryuu claimed he couldnt lure an angel down here he just laughed harder.

"Perhaps you should hear how Alana became my slave girl Ryuu. Maybe that will prove to you just how powerful I am."

He pulled Alana to him with her chains positioning her in front of Ryuu on her knees.

"Go ahead Alana tell him your wonderful story of depression and despair."

Alana let him put her in front of this Ryuu demon and did nothing but stare at the ground. Her story was degrading and she had no intention of saying a word.

A fairly quiet and low growl came from the time demon at the over confidence Satan seemed to portray, and only became slightly louder when he tried to force the girl before him now to tell him her story. "You are not powerful but merely one who uses backstabbing tricks to get your way. Someday your tricks will land you in a pool of your own blood and despair as your hellish kingdom is claimed by another" he said coldly as the glare remained trained on the devil.

After a few moments his gaze wandered to Alana. "Do not worry, you don't have to tell me anything. Neither I nor this pathetic excuse for a ruler can force you to reveal that which you do not wish to" he said in a surprisingly gentle tone. It was a drastic difference from his last set of words and did feel unnatural to the time demon even as he used it. He knew that if those of his clan could hear him now that they would possibly find that it was a mistake for him to give such gentle words to another, especially since he had so much training to make him as distant and detached as a machine when it came to the matters of the world and others.

Satan nodded at one of the guards nearby who grabbed Alanas right wing and began to twist it painfully.

"Now what was that o dear Ryuu? I beilive I can get anyone to do anything I want them to. Now Alana how about we hear your beutiful tale of how you came to be a demon yourself."

Alana grimaced as her wing was maltreated as it was the most delacate part of her body. She growled and then looked up at Ryuu and began to speak.

"I was lured here by a demon who tricked me into love with him and bed with him and when satan offered me a chance to become his servant I said yes. It was my choice and it was a wrong one but I accept that. You to will eventually......."

She trailed off as she felt the pressure on her wing relax. She knew it wasent quite what the devil wanted but she hoped that it would suffice.

Ryuu had to close his eyes as the fallen woman before him was tortured into relaying her tale. As a time demon he had seen his fair share of violence and torture, and even had caused a bit himself through various changes in history, but he was never overly fond of it, especially when it came to females. "Keep telling yourself that Satan. Someday you will find that there are some who will not do anything for you. The more you force those that unwillingly serve you into obedience the more painful your death shall be by their hands" he said coolly. He felt anger that the fallen woman had been forced to reveal her story unwillingly to him, though the only showing of this anger was the darker and angrier glow of his dragon marking.

"Someday you will eventually be free again, so long as you are willing to be as such. He can't control you with force forever. I can assure you though I will not give in and thus guaruntee that one day you shall be freed" he whispered quietly to the fallen before him and opened his dark eyes to peer at her. He wasn't sure why it was he was saying this to her, just somehow it felt like the right thing to say at the moment.

The devil laughed even more and motioned for Ryuus wings to be twisted painfully as much as possible without breaking them. He didnt want this demon to be permanantly damaged but to at least learn a lesson.

"Take Alana to her cage. And the time demon to. Lock them both up in seperate cages. Since there so fond of each other put them next to each other and let them plan an escape. It will give me a chance to have some fun when I torture them for attempting it."

He disappeared ina puff of smoke. Alana growled and lashed out as the guards came to capture her. She began to fight them off to no avail. The guards were used to it as it happened everytime they tried to cage her up. they managed to subdue her and lock her in her cage.

The moment Ryuu saw one of the guards move towards his wings, he immediately moved into action. His arms were bound, as well as his powers, but that didn't mean the time demon didn't have teeth. He wasn't one to waste what he had and immediately latched onto the nearest guard's hand. Unfortunately he had only one head and one mouth, so when a second guard came to carry out the order there wasn't much the time demon could do other than bite down harder on the captive guard's hand. He wouldn't allow the pain he felt to pass across his face or come out in the form of a scream or whimper, as the hand in his mouth prevented that. Instead he just focused on causing the guard as much, if not more, pain than he was currently feeling.

Even when Ryuu's wings were released and Satan's second order was issued, the time demon still refused to relinquish the hand his teeth had ensnared. Although unfortunately again this made him rather easy to 'catch' as they merely had to now pull the guard that still contained Ryuu's teeth in it towards the area where the cage was located. Once they had managed to get the rebellious demon into his cage the tricky part of trying to get him to let go of the guards hand initiated. It took quite a few attempts of pulling and even a few punches for the demon to finally let go. Blood covered the guard's hand as raged passed acrossed his face. Immediately in rage the guard kicked the time demon's cage and stormed off to get his hand taken care of.

"Try to touch me again and the same thing will happen to ya!" he shouted, anger apparent in his eyes as the cage rocked from the force of the kick. Once the guard was out of sight he calmly sighed and folded his wings in a way that he could examine them. Movement of them caused immediate pain, and a fair amount of black feathers were bent this way and that. After examining his wings a few moments more he turned his gaze towards Alana. "Are you alright?" he asked quietly. He had seen them subdue her out of the corner of his eye, though he hadn't seen fully what they had done to do it.

She stared at him with her dark green eyes and smiled.

"Im fine thank you. Ive been here for three years now. Theres not much else they can do to me that they havent already done."

She walked over to the side of her cage closer to his and sat down.

"How are your wings? They give very painful wing sprains here. Ive had plenty. I tell you what they know how to cause some serious pain. Its like they went to pain causing school."

She was making jokes to hide the rage she felt at the idea of her daughter falling into the devils snare.

Ryuu was surprised at the amount of time the woman in the cage next to him had been in Hell, though he did his best to hide it. it was still rather strange for him to openly show feelings that he had been trained to repress and get rid of. "One such as you should not be exposed to such pains. In the clan I grew up in to harm a female in any way was something that was severely punished. How it is Satan can be so disrespectful upon the ones that give life is something I do not understand" he said calmly as his gaze remained on Alana. It was clear by his words that his clan was clearly something separate from Hell despite him being a demon.

His eyes then casually glanced at his wings as she asked if they were alright. He the feathers fluffed a bit as he moved them slightly, then settled as he returned them to their previous position. "They'll be alright after a bit of time. Thank you for your concern. How are your's? I know they were twisted before mine were. Are they still in pain?" he asked gently.

She grinned at him.

"He cant harm me physically permanantly. He still wants my loyalty in an operation he has planned. The only way hes going to get my help is if he leave me whole. Besides Im still trying to find a loophole in my contract. I know there has to be one."

She laid back in her cage and then noticed the guards approaching with the devil behind them. She frowned at them and spat in disgust.

The devil just laughed at her. He had the guards pull her out of her cage and tied her to a post.

"Now Ryuu you will learn what its like in hell when you dont do what I ask. Alana was ordered to help me with something and she refused. Now she must be punished. What do you think I should do?"

Ryuu silently admired the woman's confidence and the fact that she still hadn't been broken completely by the devil. Gently he shook his head. "However I still feel that for a female to be abused as such is not acceptable. You should be treated with respect. I am confident though that you will succeed in your search for a loophole. I offer my assistance to you in any possible way that I can. Satan may technically own my soul now, but I am still a time demon and therefore I am still obligated to serving no one if I choose, even if my decisions bring about my pain in the end" he said rather calmly.

His gaze then drifted towards the guards and the devil that was behind them at the look of the woman's frown and from her spitting. His gaze returned into a glare as the Lord of Hell asked him what it was he should do. "I suggest you pray I do not free myself from these bindings and send you back a thousand years in the past. That is what I suggest you do. As for the fate of that woman there you should release her. She is a female and should not be treated the way you treat her. For even thinking of it you should have your fingers and hands chopped off for every injustice you do to her" the time demon growled out.

The devil laughed loudly. He knew that no matter what Ryyu would not free himself. He was confident that he had the upper hand here. He looked over at ALana and pointed to the nearby guards to tie Ryuu up in his cage. Even though he knew that it was impossible for Ryuu to free himself but he knew better than to risk it.

Alana watched the goings on wondering what she would have to suffer through now.

Once more as the nearest guard attempted to touch him Ryuu sunk his teeth into the flesh of the demon. He would have thought that the guards would have learned the use of gloves, based on the nasty bite he had given the other guard who had first attempted to harm his wings, but he wasn't complaining. Unfortunately there wasn't much room for the time demon to try and avoid the other guards while he stayed latched onto the invading hand of the first guard. The event looked similar to trying to catch a black bird in a cage that had latched itself onto the finger of its handler, as black feathered wings attempted to beat in an attempt that looked as if he was trying to fly in the small cage and smacking quite a few people in the face as they attempted to grab them.

It took some time but eventually he managed to be tied to the bars of his cage with heavy iron chains. Unfortunately Ryuu didn't appear willing to release the poor guard's hand from his teeth and so stayed latched onto it. He made it clear that it wasn't going to be quite as easy as it had been the first time.

The devil walked over to Ryyu and began to beat him upside the head to try to get him to release the guards hand.

Alana watched this with tears in her eyes. SHe may have been a fallen now but it still hurt her to see such brutality.

Even as the pain in his head increased, Ryuu still seemed rather determined to keep a hold of the guard's hand. It wasn't long before the time demon felt a second attack on him, this time a fist to his stomach, as he felt the devil's continuous assault. After a few hits to both his head and stomach the guard's hand became freed as the chained time demon couldn't help but let out a pained gasp, as he tried to rapidly inhale air into his abused diaphram. The blows to his head caused his vision to blur, although he could smell the scent of tears in the air and figured they came from Alana.

Even after he had released the hand, he still felt a few painful punches in his stomach, and caused a small stream of blood to trickle from the corner of his mouth. His body hung limply now in his chains though he was still clearly conscious as his eyes were still open, though lidded slightly and unfocused as his world remained blurred. Thanks to the blows to the head his hearing was also rather out, otherwise he probably would have glared from the deep laughter he heard from the red man and guard beside him. He could clearly taste the copperiness of his blood and feel the pain that still throbbed painfully throughout his body.

As Alana watched the brutality of her new friend she growled fiercly at the devil.

"Stop please. Ill do anything you want just dont hurt him anymore."

She could smell the blood in the air and she felt the tears falling. SHe hated to see someone in so much pain.

THe devil grinned at her knowing full well that he had something he could use against her and now weather she liked it or not she was officially his.

"Then you will do what I told you to do right Alana?"

Alana cried louder as she remember what the assignment was. She was torn in two with no idea what to do. She couldnt bring her daughter here but she also couldnt let the devil hurt Ryyu anymore. She looked at her limp friend sobbing as she said

"Anything you want. Just please let him go. Mind body and soul."

THe devil laughed loudly as the chains around Ryyu dissapeared and he nodded to the guards to take him away. He grabbed Alana and threw her over his shoulder.

"Take heed Ryyu for now your free but keep in mind the price of your freedom."

He started to leave with a kicking and screaming Alana in his arms.

Ryuu was vaguely aware of the removal of his chains and the feeling of being dragged away. He could clearly smell the mixture of both his blood and the blood from the hand of the guard he had latched onto previously and caused him to get his beating. As he was dragged away his hearing had come back enough to where he could hear the sound of a woman sobbing, he figured it to be Alana, and a few words though not whole sentences.

As he was literally dragged he could feel the sharp protrusions of the ground scratch and claw at his back and wings, causing a few places to bleed and others to be an angry red color as they became raw and painful. One in particular made a rather nasty slice into one of his wings causing him to gasp out in pain. The gasp caught the attention of one of the guards, the one that he bit and was still nursing his wounded hand, and immediately reacted to it with a rather painful kick to the time demon's ribs causing another gasp of pain.

Soon after the time demon could feel his body being lifted and then thrown on a rather jagged piece of ground and heard the utterance of the words "You may have freedom from Satan but not from Hell you worthless mutt" from one of the guards before they turned and left him. The wounded demon didn't bother moving into a more comfortable position as he felt his body trembling from pain. He trembled a few moments more before his body began glowing a faint dark purple, a sign that his time powers were free and in use to recover his harmed body automatically. The time demon hadn't summoned his powers, but rather they seemed to have a slight mind of their own and knew when their 'master' was injured and required its service. Within moments the trembling ceased and things became clearer in the black eyes that had slightly dulled throughout the journey as the wounds were sealed from the speeding up of time within his body.

After each wound was sealed Ryuu cautiously rose into a sitting position and slowly glanced about him. It was clear to him that he was still in Hell, but no longer in the presence of either Alana, the guards or Satan. It was then that he recalled a few bits and pieces of the sentences that were spoken. "I'm free? Price? What in the world? I don't think I paid anything for my freedom..." he said trailing off as his eyes widen slightly when realization hit him. The woman had exchanged something for his freedom. But why would she do such a thing for a demon that she had just met? He knew that whatever she had paid it wouldn't be pleasant, and he wasn't about to let her pay for something that was his to pay. He knew that the first thing he needed to do was find the red haired woman.

(boy I must say that puts a whole new plot on this role play.)

Satan dropped Alana off at the entrance to hell. He put a collar on her neck.

"If within a month your daughter is not here this will send you through the most pain you have ever experienced. It will then teleport you to me and I will torture Ryyu in the most inhumane manner I can think of while making you watch the entire thing. I want your daughter in front of me within a month Alana."

He gave her a kiss and then left laughing.

Alana just laid there on the ground afraid of what she must do. Her daughter was the world to her. She couldnt do this thing. But if she didnt then Ryyu would suffer more. She knew she was in a delima and was afraid of what might happen. She stayed there on the ground all night. Still as can be waiting to see what she needed to do.
