Lapras avoided teh attack this time becasue it could see where it was comming from "TAKE DOWN, gettign bored do you want to drop out this is the best battle i have ever had" Frank responded as Lapras knocked Alakazam out of the vortex and about fifty feet away

Does he really think I'm bored? This is the most challenging battle I've had in months. Amanda wrapped her right arm in towards her stomach and clenched her teeth. "I don't quit." she said. "Glad I could be a source of entertainment for you. Phil, psybeam."

Lapras was on the edge of fainting so Frank called out with one for on last attack that should get ride of the pesky Alakazam "HYDRO PUMP!" the move hit the other pokemon dead on

"Ahh!" Amanda cried as Phil fainted. Tears were starting to slide down her face, and she was shaking as she returned him and called her next pokemon. "Latios," she breathed. "Aeriel Ace." Amanda's vision was starting to blur. Fainting twice in one day? That can't be good for you. Where's Rich?

The move took care of Lapras and Frank called it back "Are you sure your okay?" he called throwing out Lunatone's pokeball "SWIFT"
he called then teh stars started to follow her Latios eventualy each one hit it after each hit Amanda flinched

The 2 second shock again. "Sorry Latios." she said as it returned. "Terro, Blast burn." But she knew what would happen. He's too strong.

The fire move did little damage to Franks flying rock "EARTHQUAKE" the ground started shaking violently damaging the pokemon on the ground

Amanda only felt 2 seconds of the 3 second shock before everything went black.

Frank saw Amanda faint and called back his Lunatone the ran over to her "Amanda are you okay he called out his remaining pokemon "Absol and Lunatone help me out here" he grabbed Amanda and started walking away Lunatone used Phychic to lift the fainted pokemon and follwed Absol ran ahead to clear the way they walked through town to the pokemon center witch was nto to hard to fine When he got in he called out "Nurse Joy a little help please" the nurse cam out with two stretchers and carried the two wounded away so frank called back is pokemon put his others in the healing machin when that was done he sat down and waited

The doors to the center burst open as Rich ran inside. "WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED!?" He ran over to Frank and bashed him up against the wall. "What the hell did you do to her?!"

Frank looked at teh Gym leader "We did a pokemon battle and she fainted when her final pokemon did she looked like she was in pain but i was not sure she kept saying she was fine but then she fainted so if you are going to yell at anybody yell at her for lying to me" He said shoving him off then a Nurse came over "GENTLEMEN this is a hospital i will not have any fighting in here calm down or bring it outside" the she glared at Rich

"Damn it. Are you blind? Didn't you see her wrist?" Rich laughed like a madman. "Damn it Blaine!" Nurse Joy looked at him. "Sorry, Joy. You know why she fainted yes? That damn shock bracelet that Blaine makes her wear." He looked at Frank. "You're from Johto right? You know of Blaine? The damn quizmaster. He taught he about pokemon. When he did he gave he that bracelet, every time something happens to her pokemon, she feels its pain. This is as much you fault as it is hers." He looked at Joy, who nodded, and walked into the ER.

"How is it my fault if i did not know about it i thought it was just a fasion statment, i knew he was not the smartes i met him once" Said Frank but did not want to think about it "i want onewe need to go back and track him down so i can have one it will make me stronger i am sure of it, if i can survive the shocks" he said Sitting back down

Rich put his hand on his forehead, sighed and sat down in a chair next to Frank. "You've met Blaine?" He said trying to star a conversation. "I'm sorry for you. When did you meet him? You might have been there the same time Amanda was. Hell, you probably even saw her a few times. You know,“ Rich hesitated a moment, then continued. ”Blaine is her adoptive father. She loves him just as she would her own. I bet, it was a challenging decision for her to come all the way here. But I know it wasn't her idea. Blaine wanted her to, so she did. She left behind her friends, and the only home she’s ever known, just to become a trainer. That's why she is so dedicated to training and battling pokemon. Heh," He scoffed, "She beat me on her first try. Of course that was after I had her battle my second, Thresch, the one that called. In fact," Rich said reaching into his pocket. "I believe I owe you this." Rich handed Frank a badge. "You see, my gym is special because I'm not always there. I have what is called a second, and as of one month ago, Amanda is that. If I can't battle, she has the right to give that badge to whomever defeats her. And you have. So I confer to you 'The Foundation Badge.' You’ve earned it. At what cost?
"And about going to visit Blaine, you can't. He said that she can't go back to Cinnabar unless she has beaten the elite four of this area.Then she has to prove it by battling him, wearing that lovely little bracelet.” Rich thought a moment, ”That is, if you are going to be traveling with her.“ Rich looked at Frank, and thought it best that he try to apologize for the events of the day. ”About earlier today... See, I knew she went down to the lake because of a note I found on the gym door." Rich pulled a folded piece of paper from his pocket and began to read: "My dearest darling Richy, can you believe I've already been here a month? I sure can't. Time flies, I guess. As much as I don't want to, I think that it's time I move on to the next town. Got to keep earning those badges! hehe, I didn't bother packing anything away. Pyro knows fly, so I'll probably be coming home now and again. Oh, look at me, calling your lovely town my home. How silly. I think I'll take a walk down to the lake to say goodbye to the berry patch that I've been taking care of. It's all yours now. The patch, and all the memories there. Hehe, watch those pesky cherry trees for me! I'll be back soon so don't worry about me too much. I know - better than anyone - that you have to work long, hard hours in the gym. Maybe we can have a battle before I head out. That would be fun. I'll even wear my shock bracelet this time. Just to give you a fair chance. hehe! I see you soon! Frank took teh badge and looked at it. It did not feel right taking it since the person he fought was in teh ER of a hosptial but he put it in his case and then turned to listed to the letter he looked up to say something but just then Nurse Joy came over, "She is ready for visitors now you may come in if you are calm" Frank stood up and said "oh we will be" and the two of them went into the room Where Amanda was, "Hey how are you feeling?" he asked with a smile

Amanda watched the door as the two came in. "Hey, how are you feeling?" asked Frank. Amanda sighed and replied. "Like a fool. I shouldn't of challenged you when I did. I pushed myself too far. I'm sorry I made you worry. I'm also sorry that you had to carry me here." Then she turned to face Rich. "How was the battle Rich? Did you give a badge away?" Rich smiled and put a hand on Frank's shoulder. "Not to the kid in the gym. But to this on right here. As much as I hate to say it, he beat you fair."
Amanda laughed and swung her legs off the bed, getting ready to stand. "You bet he did." She looked at Frank. "Fair. I guess he's not a cheater after all."

Frank chuckled and said "well that makes 5 for me now, hey Amanda would you like to travel together, beat the gyms and keep going on after this and when your task is done i would like a word with your father Blaine" said Frank walking over to here offering his hand

Amanda's eye widened. "How do you know about Blaine? Who - damn it Rich, I can't tell you anything." She said standing, walking over to him and playfully slapping him on the face. "Travel with you? That depends, are you going to tell me about yourself?" She laughed and walked over towards Frank. " I mean, you know so much about me now, and I don't know anything about you."

"Yeah I will tell you what i can right now, later will come when I trust you more like i am sure you will tell me more but lets go someplace a little more private first" said Frank with a shy smile

"It is getting dark." Amanda said looking out the window. "And I still have to make dinner." She laughed. " What a mess I left in my kitchen. Rich would you like to come?" Rich was standing in the doorway, blocking her path. He thought for a moment then stepped aside. "Sorry Mandy, Thresch and I are watching a game tonight. I see you tomorrow before you head out. Get some sleep tonight. It's a long hike to the next town. Up a mountain and through a small forest. Lots of different kinds of pokemon on the path. Though, I know you don't catch any."

"YOu don't catch pokemon," frank asked as they walked to the front desk

Amanda looked down at her feet as they walked out the door. "Well, I guess I'm not as great a trainer as you thought Frank. It's true. I didn't catch any of my pokemon. Nor do I catch any wild ones. Blaine said it would hinder me as a trainer and that I should build up a strong team before I go - and I'm quoting him - 'willy-nilly, like a wild child.' It's alright if you think less of me. I think less of me." They crossed the seal that marked the center of town. Rich stopped and turned. "Well, I'm going to go home. Mandy, don't be too hard on yourself. Rest up." And walked away toward the lake and his house. The street lights began to come on as the two continued walking.

"I find nothign wrong with not catching pokemon it is just different thats all" said Frank trying to make small talk he asked "is the weather always liek this here?"

"Sunny and beautiful?" Amanda asked with a smirk. After all, she didn't have shoes and socks on. "Yeah." She did a cartwheel, and laughed. "Bet I can beat you in a foot race to my house." She said sprinting down a side road, leaving Frank in the main road.

Frank sprinited down the main road since that was the only way he knew when he got to amanda's place she was sitting on front steps of the building and she grinned they went up to her apartment. Amanda got busy cooking while Frank sat down "ask first and i will answer" he said
