"Wait Sister, and whay the hell are you putting another on on her?" Frank asked following the two into the living room, frank kept his arm beside him and waited for Rich to make some lame ass excuse so he could wail him one

Rich looked at the hot-tempered boy. I'll tell you why...
[Flashback]
Amanda was 13, the dreaded age to still be at an orphanage. I’m too old to be adopted now. Amanda thought as she sat in her small room. She hadn’t seen or heard from her brother Rich in two years. She was quite sure that he had forgotten about her. He left me because he found something better. I am not worth his time anymore. She pulled the rope out that she had hidden under her bed and began looping it. Amanda had fought with depression since Rich had left to join the labor force at the workhouse in town. First my parents, now my brother. She laughed, tying the rope tighter. She new that her mother’s death had not been by choice; mothers often died during childbirth. But her father, he had been healthy. A broken heart, they said, caused him to kill himself. It was no broken heart. Amanda thought. He didn’t want to be my father. Because I looked too much like her. He already had Rich, the son he always wanted. But he never wanted a girl. Amanda moved a chair and hung the rope from the rafters. “And because he did that, I’ve had to stay in this terrible place. Rich was lucky; he had the nerve to get through not being adopted. He was always the happier one.” Amanda chuckled remembering her brother positive attitude. “He always wanted to be a leader. And he was here of course, being the oldest and all. But it wasn’t enough, was it Rich? No, you had to leave to become what you wanted. A pokemon gym leader. Where will pokemon get you in life? They don’t help you earn money. They don’t cook for you, or clean for you. They are useless.” Amanda climbed onto the desk that was adjacent to her noose. She placed the rope over her head, and jumped.

Little did she know that at that very moment, her very much concerned older brother was walking through the hallway towards her room. He had just turned 18, the age that Miss Mary said he could come back for Amanda. He had saved up all the money he could to buy ferry tickets to Cinnabar - another island, and the home of the great gym leader Blaine. He hoped that Blaine would teacher him all he could about being a gym leader. He walked into his sister’s room just in time to see her jump.

The helicoptor came and took her away. Rich loved his sister; he didn’t want to lose the only family that he had. “Take her to Cinnabar. Take her to Blaine. He’ll help her. I know he will.”

[end flashback]

“That was the last time I saw her.” Rich said hoping that would be enough for the boy. But seeing how he still had more to say, he continued. “But wonder of wonders she appeared here a month ago. I promptly got a phone call from Blaine. ‘Hello Richtor. I am in the understanding that you are the Brother of the girl that I saved 8 years ago. I would like you to know that she will be arriving in you town soon. Mind you, she doesn’t know that you are her brother. When you see her, she will have a small silver bracelet on her wrist. Do not, under any circumstances take it off. That bracelet is the only thing keeping her alive. It is like a monitor in a hospital, I have her under my surveillance, so I know if it malfunctions. Because technology is not as advanced as it could be, I have sent every gym leader a copy. You should be getting one soon.’ And I did. I’ve kept in a safe in my room. Then you showed up and well, it has come to this. I'm sorry that you feel like I am the bad guy here. I'm also sorry that I never told you this. This whole thing is my fault. My sister killed herself because of me."

Frank sat down and looked at Amanda then at Rich then an idea came to him "How do we contact Blaine?" he asked looking at Rich his face beeming

The door opened. "You don't need to." A a girl with dark hair said. "I've brought him here." The girl stepped aside and Blaine walked into the room. I see you made it in time, Richtor. How is she?" Rich stood and walked over to the man, anger in his eyes. He meant to hit him, but his arms would not move. "I think that you should not do that Rich. Considering all that his has done for you." The girl said. "You, " she looked at Frank. "Wanted to talk to Blaine. Speak."

"I take you want a strong trainer for your shock braclet? Well I beat amanda but you already know that she lost earlyer today yeah that was me put one on me and i will complete you mission or whatever and keep her, Basicly but a shock braclet for just teh shock on me and take her shock of, you can even increase the shock on mine just stop shocking her please" Said Frank looking Blaine in the eye the entire time

"The bracelet was never made to shock her." Blaine said. "It was beginning to malfunction. The basis of the design was model after Lt. Surge's shock bracelets. If it shocked her it was just because of faulty wiring. That bracelet is not a toy. I would compare it to... anti-depressive medication. Without that bracelet, she might succumb to depression and take her life again. That is something that nobody wants to hear of a child. I had to lie to her to get her to wear it. She didn't talk to me for weeks. But in the end, after telling her it would make her a better trainer - and yes, about the shocks - she believed me. I sent her here so that she may start a new life, as a trainer. She hated pokemon, but now she loves them - because she can't live without them. If she didn't wholeheartedly believe that she is a trainer, I'm not sure the bracelet would work. Surge made them for trainers, and they only work for trainers."

"well then could i have one i have my own reasons to become the best and i would like one to help me prove to my father pokemon and myself are not worthless" said Frank still making eye contact hoping it would work

"Hmm... It appears that I was wrong." Blaine said. "You do not care for my daughter. You seek revenge against your father. You are only going to use my daughter to reach your goal. Be gone then, arrogant boy and continue on you meaningless quest." Blaine reached into his pocket. "Here," He threw one of Surge's bracelets at Frank. "Mind you, that is a real shock bracelet, and only gym leaders can turn it off." Blaine nodded at the girl, who released Rich. Rich, who was not angry anymore, walked over to Amanda, who was still lying on the couch - asleep. "Wake up, Bananda." He whispered her old nickname. Amanda's eyes fluttered open and she gasped. "Oh!" she exclaimed. "I'm sorry! I didn't realize I was so tired." She sat up and upon seeing Blaine said. "Dad? What are you doing here? Sabrina too." She looked around. Everyone seemed to be looking at her, worried. " I missed something, didn't I." she said. "I was just visiting darling." Blaine said. "But it is late, so I must be going." Amanda got up off the couch and walked over to hug him. "Bye dad." she hugged Sabrina "Bye Sabi." Blaine and the gym leader said their partings and walked out the door into the night. But before Blaine left, he said to Frank. "Remember this night."

"you bet i will, AND I DO CARE" Frank yelled as the door as closed, he then turned to Amanda "Are you okay i'm sorry you um, hit your head when i grabbed your wrist sorry for starteling you we still leavign tomorrow?" he asked putting on his new shock braclet

"I hit my head, so Blaine came here?" Amanda didn't believe him. I know that he is lying. But I don't want to complicate things. "Yeah. We can still leave tomorrow. Rich... No, never mind." Amanda hadn't been totally asleep. She knew the truth now, I feel like I always knew. She smiled. "I'm sorry I made you both worry. Oh, Blaine gave you a trainer bracelet. Cool. Now we are even. Well, it's been a long night. Can I go to bed now?"
Rich was uneasy; he wanted to stay, but what would he say to her? I bet she knows. I bet she's always known. "Yeah, I better be going. Sorry, Frank called, so I rushed over. Bye, hun. I be at the gym tomorrow, bright and early." He hugged her, and walked out the door.
Amanda smiled, then looked at Frank. "What?" she laughed, "You look like you're angry. Did I do something wrong? No wait, I knew it! You are allergic to tomatoes!" She said trying to lighten the mood.

frank laughed "no i am not allrgic to tomato sorry, you were out and i called Rich and Blaine came by after Rich got here" said Frank not lying but not really telling her the truth

"Okay. What ever you say." Amanda said. "But I'm going to bed. I'll see you tomorrow." Amanda walked into her room and closed the door. Should I lock it? Amanda thought. He doesn't seem like a creeper. But, one can never be to careful. Amanda clicked the lock closed, and sighed. "Sorry, Frank." She went to sit on her bed. She wasn't tired, but she knew that she had to sleep. She curled up in a ball and closed her eyes. So, Rich is my brother. She thought with a smile. He always did want to be a gym leader. She fell asleep.

Frank took out the extra bedding and made his bed on teh couch and sat there lookign at his new braclet, I wonder how bad it hurts then he layed down and went to sleep

Morning didn't come quickly enough for Amanda. She got up before the sunrise - like normal. She hadn't slept well that night, her brain was to active. I have so much to think about. She thought walking across the hallway - in her the t-shirt she had slept in -to the bathroom. She undressed and got in the shower. I killed myself? Rich said that I killed myself. Was I so lonely that I would resort to that? She scrubbed her pale skin clean. I might as well be clean. Rich said it was a long way to the next town. She stepped out of the shower and wrapped herself in a large fluffy blue towel, then walked back across the hall to her room. She got dressed into her traveling gear - jeans, a tight t-shirt with a tank-top showing underneath, and her striped purple and black socks. She brushed and tied her hair back. Then she walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple. "This will do before I get to the gym. Rich will probably give me a farewell care package." She stepped out into the living room. She saw Frank still sleeping, on the couch and smiled. "Wake,up sleepy head." She said kneeling and tickling him under the chin. "It's already 5:45. You wanted to be gone by 6, remember? The bathroom is at the end of the hall, feel free to shower. I'm going to the gym to say goodbye to Rich. I'll be waiting for you there." She stood up and walked out the door, closing it quietly.

Frank got up and showered then he mad his way to the gym when he got there Amanda, Rich, and two others were standing outside of it, "Hey Rich thanks for comign last night" he called waving

Rich watched the boy walk up to the gym - the boy that was going to take his sister away. "Yeah. No problem. Hey, Frank. Take care of her, she is precious to me." He smiled and pointed to a man standing next to him. "This is Thresch. ((http://api.ning.com/files/ra9zDzxC7j...o147610768.jpg)) "He's my second, now that Mandy is leaving." The boy nodded. Rich pointed to the girl on his right. "This is Tara. ((http://dgraymanime.files.wordpress.c...ime-girl-4.jpg)) She is the newest person to the gym, and the strongest trainer that was born in this town." She smiled at Frank.
Amanda laughed. "I guess I not second anymore." she playfully hit Thresch on the shoulder. He laughed and hugged her, then said "You'll always be Rich's second, little one. I could never take that title away from you. Have fun on your journey. Hey, kid. Like Rich said, watch out for her. She is precious to the whole gym." Tara walked over and bopped Thresch on the head. "Silly! Mandy is precious to the whole town!" They all laughed.
Amanda turned to Frank and said, "Ready to go?"

"yeah lets go," said Frank walking with amanda beside him and he was playing with his braclet

Amanda hugged her friends one last time. "Goodbye, everyone. I'll be home soon. Tara, make sure Thresch knows his place." She said shaking her fist in the air. "Bye! Bye!" she said walking backwards, and waving, the gym slowly disappearing. "I'll miss you! I'll think of you everyday! Bye!" She turned towards Frank, as they reached the northern border of town. Amanda hadn't stepped 1 foot off the pavement the whole time she had been there. She stopped and stood with her toes on the edge of the pavement. "This is going to be an adventure, you know that right?" She took a deep breath and jumped into the air, flying over the border. SHe of course, was not as graceful as she thought, landed on her feet, then feel over. She lay on the ground laughing. "Are you sure you want to walk around with a goof like me?" she laughed some more and sat up, looking at him intently with a smile on her face.

Frank laughed and held out a hand for her to get up, she took it and he helped her up. "So, how are you feeling today Amanda?" frank asked as they walked into the forest that was outside of town, he heard birds, and pokemon as they walk wondering what hide in teh shadows of the forest this early in the morning.

Amanda was a ball of energy, despite that lack of sleep she had. She wanted to run, and run she did, deep into the forest - leaving Frank behind. There had been no forests before this town, and she had never been to Viridian. It was a new experience for her, she want to cherish it. She rounded the bend and saw a berry bush rustling. I bet that's a pokemon. She thought. She turned around, she was all alone. Frank was behind me seconds ago. Where is he? "Frank." She whisper loudly. "Frank! Where are you?!"

Frank ran around the bend to find Amanda and a berry patch the was moving then a Zigzagoon jumped out and looked at them and started to smell the air. "Don't move quickly Amanda you will scare it lets just watch okay"

"It's kind of ugly." Amanda said tilting her head to the side. "Are you going to catch it, Frank? Why would you want to catch something like that? It looks weak too." Non-the-less, Amanda listened to Frank and stood very still.

"A lot of wild pokémon look weak, but that is why you train them and it my look ugly, but looks don't matter unless you are in a contest" Frank sqwatted down and held out his hand "come here" he said calling the pokémon over

The Zigzagoon walked towards Frank's hand and smelled it. "Frank," Amanda whispered. "Are you going to catch it, or not?"

"NAy i have one in the PC storage" said Frank petting it, "come here it don't bite," He said as the pokémon rolled over so Frank could rub it's stomach
