Toa woke with a start. Haiakatoa had forced her out of her own mind. Take the bracelet off. Toa was shocked. "Are you mad?" She whispered when she noticed that Frank was sleeping. I told you I had an idea. I didn't say he would like it. You might not either. Toa sat up silently and called Zag over. The creature crawled away from Frank's side and nuzzled her. Put the bracelet on Zag. Haiakatoa said. I'll take over her body - because no offense to Frank, but she is a girl - and it will be like me having my own body. I always wanted to be a pokemon anyway. "But, how will he react?" Toa nodded towards Frank. "He loves you, not me. Even though you weren't the one that kissed him." Toa smiled. "So I'll be me again, and you'll be a pokemon. How will you talk to Frank? He'll be heartbroken." Haiakatoa seemed to think about this. The same way I talk to you. Through the bracelet. I bet I can make Zag talk. Toa looked down at her wrist, and the dreaded bracelet. "Are you sure about this?" she felt Haiakatoa nod her head. It'll be an adventure. You, me and Frank will make it together. "Alright." Toa said taking the bracelet off as she saw Frank's eyes flicker open.

Frank sat up and looked around "Toa or Amanda?" he asked streaching and getting up, He walk forward with a sad exspresion adn grabbed Zan and held the Pokémon "what are you doing with Zag?" he asked

"It's not Zag anymore." Toa said sadly, not making eye contact with him. She stood and walked towards the edge of the forest. "It's Haiakatoa. But you now her better... as Amanda." Toa hugged herself, and stammered," This was her choice. She gave me back my body." Toa turned to face him. He looked shocked as he held the very confused zigzagoon. Toa showed Frank her wrist, the bracelet was not on it. "She told me to take it off. That is was the only way I could get my body back." Toa gasped, surprised as she felt the warm tears slide down her face. "I'm so sorry Frank. I'm sorry that I am so selfish." As she started to walk into the woods, she hung her head. It's best to just let him go. She thought.

Frank put down Zag/Amanda adn ran after Toa "Wait come back i am nto angry just confused" he grabbed ehr shoulder and spun her aroud so they could face each other "I would still love to travel with you, and well to be honest it will be odd talking to a pokemon like she IS human, or whatever btu i would still like to travel with you and Her...it...her....Amanda" he said hugging Toa

"Haiakatoa." Toa corrected. "My name, is Amanda. I was born Amanda. I just told you to call me Toa so you wouldn't get confused. But I guess I'm just confusing you more. I'm really sorry. I would love to keep traveling with you. And I-I don't know why I'm talking so much. Sorry." Toa - Amanda blushed, something she never remembered doing. She looked away, but still held Frank's hug.

"Okay let me get this straight, you are Amanda, and The Amanda I fell for is now in Zag?" asked Frank lookign at the pokemon then to Toa/Amanda "I am so very confused" he said letting her go

"I'm sorry that you are. I am a little confused too. It never made much sense to me either. I-I think that we should travel separately. I would hate to confuse you more. A trainer should not be confused when battling." Amanda smiled.

"I can push it out of my mind when i battle, but i would love to travel with you if you can get it out of your mind" said Frank as teh pokemon rubbed his leg "yes what do you want?" he asked getting down to her level

Haiakatia looked at Frank through the zigzagoon's eyes. She didn't know if it would work. But she tried to use the bracelet to speak into his mind. Frank? Can you hear me?
Amanda was standing by the boy and pokemon. She looked at Haiakatoa and sensed that she was trying to say something. Amanda knew what she had to do, even though she didn't want to. She sighed and sat down in the grass. She picked a that was in her reach, and began to twirl it in her fingers. She would have to wait till Frank trusted her. She was willing to wait forever, just so she could see him smile at her again.

Frank jumped as he heard a voice in his he looked around then back at the Zigzagoon and said aloud "did you just talk to me?" he asked rubbing the pokémon on the head it nodded "okay now THAT was weird" he said with a grin. Frank picked up the Zigzagoon "So Haiakatia is there somthing shorter Amanda and I can call you?"

You heard me! Haiakatoa said into Frank's mind. Oh, I was hoping that it would work. And yes. You can call me Hai. (('hi'))
Amanda laughed as Frank jumped at the intrusion in his mind. "It's strange, isn't it?" She asked Frank, who was hold Hai. "Hearing someone inside your head." Amanda sighed. "You can't imagine how I felt the first time." She stood and walk till she was standing in front of him. She looked at his steel grey eyes. "I never noticed before, but you have really beautiful eyes." She said suddenly.

"um.. yeah i can here you an well," frank blushed "thanks, we should go I am getting hungry"

"We still have the mountain to climb." Amanda said, amused that she had made him blush. "It would be easier if we biked it." She said trying to calculate how long it would really take them. She closed her eyes, and with her finger pointing in the air, added things together. "Yeah," She said opening her eyes. "It would be a lot faster if we biked." He seemed troubled, so she smiled at him.

"um...i can't ride a bike so i will um.... fly above you" said Frank looking at the ground

"You're lying to me." Amanda said softly. She slide her hand under his chin and lifted it so she could see his eyes. "What happened to you? Where is the brave Frank I know? The one that would kiss a girl he doesn't even know, just because." She wrapped her arms arms his neck and hugged him. She felt an air of pain about him. She let go off him, but still held his hands. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pry."

"No it is okay, well i was riding bikes with my best friend and we were on a moutain trail, he fell off the trail and almost died from a large drop and i swore to never ride a bike again" said Frank looking at his hands "so i did not lye to you i said i could not ride one not that i did not know how plus i don't have one so i will fly or we can walk" tears coming to his eyes

Amanda let go of his hands, and gestured 'one minute' with her finger. She walked over to her bag and picked up the bottle of drink. She walked back and handed it to him. "I know I shouldn't give this to you," She smiled. "But it will help. Come here." She pulled him back to where her bag was lying. "I think there may be some food in the box Rich gave me." She pulled him to the ground, sweetly. "How about a picnic to take your mind off things?" She reached into her bag and pulled out a couple small sandwiches and some fruits and vegetables - along with another bottle of whiskey. She set the food on a small square of cloth that would have been to small to sit on. Keeping the mood light, she said "To the pain of separation, and the joy of finding something new." She offered her bottle for the toast.

Frank took the toast and drank the bottle he was giving, he smiled "thanks so are we walking or flying or biking and flying?" he asked grabbing the fruit

"Personally, I don't think either of us should be alone." Amanda said. "Not now anyway." She sighed and looked around them. It was still only mid-day, and the weather was beautiful. "We've flown for a a long time already." Amanda said after a moment. "Let's just relax. You must be tired," she laughed lightly. "Or else you wouldn't have fallen asleep earlier. How about a mid-afternoon nap?" She stretched and yawned to prove her point.

"Okay, a nap sounds good" said Frank grabbing a pokéball "Absol" he called "we are going to take a nap could you watch out for us please?" Absol nodded and Frank layed down, "Come her you two he said to Hia and Amanda"

"What is going to hurt me in the woods that I need both yours, and your pokemons protection?" Amanda said. "Or do you just want to hold me again, lover boy?" She asked playfully, crawling over to where he had laid down. She kneeled, and looked at him for a minute, then laid down beside him, and set her head on his chest. She closed her eyes and could hear his heart beat. She curled her body against his side, and wrapped one of her arms around his waist. "It looks like you're trapped now." She said in a whisper.

"I just want to hold you" Frank whispered as Hia curled up in a ball on his other side and he wrapped his arms around Amanda and fell asleep

Amanda fell into a blissful sleep in Frank's arms. She dreamt of him too - of him smiling and playing with his pokemon. And of him holding her. She felt safe in his arms - he chased all the fears and doubts that had been lingering in her mind. She sighed and snuggled closer to him.

When Frank woke up the sun was going down he called back his Absol then taking Amanda and kissing her awake when she was up he said, "Hey, you live. Look down there," pointed to a stream of smoke coming up into the air a little ways down teh road, "want to see if they will let us stay there for the night?" he asked standing up

Amanda thought she had been dreaming when she felt the pressure on her lips. She opened her eyes once it was gone. She saw Frank standing beside her. He had said something to her, and moved, but she hadn't pay attention. She stood, put her right hand on his face, and wrapped her left arm around his waist. "Kiss me again." She said before her lips met his.
