Kagome sat in the wooden chair that was left in the corner of the room. The four white wall around her showed the borderline of her world. She had been in this hospital so long that people had begun to remember her name. The fact that she was so well known was not a comfort for the girl. It did nothing more then confirm that everyone thought she was crazy. Kagome could not begin to explain the things she saw everyday. Those things were demons, beasts that killed humans for fun and ate their flesh.

Those demons had become fixated on Kagome for some reason. In the two years since she had turned 15 the demon attack had grown worse. There was really no were for her to run. No matter where she went the demons followed; drawn by the power of the Shikon no Tama that she housed within her own body. She found this out by old book that were kept at her home. Although most of the details were stretchy at best. There was still lots she didnt know about and she wished that someone would fill in the gasps.

Kagome's head snapped up as a low growl could be heard outside the door. It was back again. This demon had been keeping watch over her room waiting for it chance to attack. Knowing this she kept within the walls of her safe place. The sutras her grandfather had placed on the door and windows made sure that the demons did not enter. Only a extremely strong demon could break down the barrier that was in place. The demon then began to bang on the door loudly. Although the demons could not enter the room, the barrier did not stop the demon from keeping kagome awake at night. She covered her ear with her her hand. it dulled the noise a little, but it was not enough to give her peace. This would be the second night without rest and it was starting to show in the girl face. The demon was now hitting the door so hard it looked as thought it was going to come off its hinges.

Kagome screamed out "Stop it! Stop it! Just leave me alone!"
Tears began to stream from the girls eyes and she placed her head on her knees. A light became visible on Kagomes right side. it shone softly through her clothing. It was the Shikon no Tama and it was reacting with something close by.
