Hikako laughed a little as he got up and nodded a little. "alright...then lets go get some." he said quietly as he reached down for her hand, gently holding onto it.

Anna started walking and looked around. The scenery was just as beautiful as it was yesterday, until they got farther into town. The smell of french fries and drugs filled her poor nose. She sighed and looked around for the nearest ice cream place. As she did, she heard several gunshots and her head flew around for the source. As she looked for where the noise was coming from, she hardly noticed that one of the shots went straight into her stomach. She looked up at Hikako, then fell on the ground. Several hundred eyes stared at her as people took out cell phones to call an ambulance.

As Hikako saw how Anna dropped to the floor, his eyes grew wide as he dropped to his knees as well holding onto Anna's stomach trying to stop the bleeding. "Somebody!! Help!!" he yelled loudly as he looked around to see where the person who shot the gun was but sadly didnt see anyone with a gun. "Anna...please..hang on!"

Anna set her head on the ground and whimpered gently. She started crying, but wouldn't let Hikako see. She knew it would make him lose hope even more, even though she didn't have much faith in herself at that point. She set her hand on his for reassurance.

Hikako frowned deeply even when he felt Anna's hand on top of his own. Suddenly the ambulance stopped in front of them as two people came rushing out with a stretcher letting her onto it. He let her into the ambulance along with Hikako getting in as well with his eyes beginning to tear up.

Anna closed her eyes for the time being until she finally slowly opened them. She looked over at Hikako who was cryin g and frowned. "The last thing I need right now is for you to be sorry for me." she said quietly.

When Hikako looked at Anna, he still frowned with only a few tears coming down his cheeks. "B-b-but your hurt....I..I...I'm worried about you.." he said quietly back as the ambulance drove quickly to the hospital avoiding all the bumps so that she wouldnt get hurt even more.

Anna used most of her energy to talk and smile. "Well, don't. I'll be fine. I promise." she lied. By this time, she was in so much pain she wanted to scream.

Hikako smiled as he actually believed Anna say she was going to be alright. He tilted his head as he leaned over kissing her lips softly and pulling back. "I really hope so.." he said, while the ambulance finally stopped at the hospital as the people in it picked up the stretcher carrying Anna into the emergency room along with Hikako following from behind.

After a painful surgery and they bandaged up her torso, Anna looked around for Hikako. "Where's Hikako?" she asked nervously.

Hikako sat on a large couch in the waiting room as he had fallen asleep without even remembering he did. I hope...Anna..is okay...

The doctor slowly approached her and gave her a small smile. "He's in the waiting room. He was waiting for you to wake up, would you like me to get him? He's a very nice lad." he said.

Anna nodded. "Yes, I know. Could you please?" she asked.

The doctor nodded and walked out to the waiting room. He tapped on Hikako's shoulder gently. "She's awake." he said quietly.

As Hikako looked up at the doctor, he rubbed his eyes a bit and smiled nodding. "Oh...t-t-thanks..." he said as he suddenly yawned from sleeping all night at the hospital. He got up as he looked around a bit. "Umm...could you show me to her please?"

The doctor laughed deeply and nodded. "Right this way." he said. He led him to the room Anna was in and looked at her as she stared at the ceiling.

As Hikako saw Anna staring at the ceiling, he smiled and looked over to the doctor bowing to him in repect. "Thank you..." he said quietly as he walked into the room and stood right beside her. He tapped her onto the shoulder a bit. "Hey....you feeling any better?"

Anna jumped a little and laughed at herself. "I'm much better." she said. She gently rubbed the wound, putting pressure on it to stop the pain.

Hikako smiled when he heard Anna laugh as he nodded. He was truly happy to hear her laughter once more as he leaned in and kissed her lips softly. "I'm so glad your okay." he said with a bright smile as he kneeled down and laid his head onto her lap.

Anna gently stroked his head and yawned. "It's all thanks to you, though." she said quietly as she smiled at him.

Hikako smiled softly as he looked over toward Anna. "Ho-h-how is it thanks to me?....I...I didnt really do anything." he said as he slightly looked down toward her stomach.

Anna smiled and looked at her stomach as well. "Well, you had someone call for an ambulance and you're here now so I'm not alone." she said quietly.

Hikako smiled and nodded a little. "Yeah...I guess your right." he said as he nuzzled his head a bit into her stomach. I wonder who the hell that was....who shot her... he thought as he slight started to bite down on his lower lip in anger to even think about that.

Anna's smile soon faded as she saw Hikako's face. "Are you okay?" she asked quietly. She gently rubbed his back and smiled a bit for reassurance.

Hikako heard Anna as he looked up at her with his eyes widened for a second. "Hmm?...oh, yeah dont worry. I'm fine." he said with a little smile as he nuzzled his head back into her stomach, hoping she'd believe him.

Anna frowned a little and crossed her arms. "Please don't lie to me..." she said quietly. She knew he was lying just by his eyes, they gave it away.

Hikaru frowned a bit as he looked up at Anna. When he looked back down he was still frowning as he began to take his head back away from her stomach. "I-....Its just...I cant imagine....w-w-who would do this to you...." he said as he looked at her patched up wound.
