Hikako stopped smiling after he heard that, and just looked at the man. "So....I'll ask you this, will you give Anna back her memory?"

"What do I get in return?" he asked.

"Let me answer your question with one of my own.....what do you want with Anna's memory in the first place?" Hikako looked directly into the man's eyes.

"So she doesn't know what I did to her." he said.

"Its true...I know what your thinkingl; 'whats wrong if she didnt know what happened?' right?" Hikako lifted his hand towards him. "Have you ever had your memories erased? you dont know how it feels...to lose everything you ever cared for......Let me show you......My past..." He put the man into an illusion of Hikako's life of how he was abandoned by his own parents, who he became.

"You think you got it bad, my parents were murdered in front of me. Yeah, that's right, now go cry home to your mommy, oh wait, you don't have one." he laughed.

Hikako stopped the illusion from his anger. "How dare you!!!" he tried to calm himself down since he didnt want to lose control again. "If your life was so bad....then why?....why are you causing pain to others?"

"Last time I checked, that's not pain." he said.

"Have you ever thought.....when your parents died...are you telling me you wanted to forget them? I dont even know my parents anymore...I dont even remember their faces...." Hikako said sadly with his head down.

"I meant what I do isn't pain, think. I'll give the dummy her memory back okay?" he said.

"Then what are you doing to people?...." Hikako didnt show it but he was completely lost of what the man had said.

"Kid, you don't want to know," he snapped his fingers. "There, she has her memory back."

"You....whats your name?" Hikako asked.

"Again, that's for me to know, and for you not to find out." he then walked away.

"Wait! before you go....one last question....are you a black magician?" Hikako wanted to know for sure so that what he had learned about white magic wasnt for nothing.

The man suddenly dissapeared without answering Hikako's question.

Hikako stood there thinking about the man. "He is.....a black magician...." Suddenly he remembered about Anna and ran back to her home to check up on her.

By that time, Anna had fallen asleep on the living room floor with her back end up in the air.

Hikako stood at the front door and knocking on the door, wondering where Anna was. "Anna?! you home?!"

Anna quickly stood up and answered the door. "Yes?" |
Hikako stood there and looked at Anna without saying a word for a while. "So? do you remember anything?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't I?" she answered, letting him in.

Hikako walked inside and looked at Anna, she looked different from when she was laughing at him. "So...you remember what happened a few hours ago with the man right?"

"I wish I didn't." she said.

Hikako looked up at the ceiling. "So...you really did give it back to her.....just who are you?....." He said to himself.
