Name: Vey
Species: Human (Mage)
Age: Twelve
Sex: Female
Appearance: Short grey hair; wears light grey pants under a darker grey dress with three-quarter sleeves, with a blue overcoat (you know those things that have a hole in them for the head and they just go over your front and back? Whatever they're called...) heavily embroidered with gold thread and a little tassel on the end, with a hat to match and simple sandals; a simple gold necklace and gold bracelets on both wrists; carries a staff, slightly taller than she is, made of a dark wood and with a large red orb at the top.
Personality: Vey is very shy and apologises for everything, regardless of whether or not she was involved. She tries to help people, but is slightly clumsy and doesn't think well of herself for it.
Background: Vey grew up in a family where she was not neglected, but not quite loved. As she trained to be a mage, she was continually told it was no good as she had no talent for it. She was also frequently blamed for things and so got used to continually apologising. The teacher at her school for magic told her to leave her home, saying she had no more to learn that she couldn't teach herself from books. Giving her a few of his precious volumes, he told her to go and that he would come with her when he could. Now, she travels on her own, trying to teach herself from the books and feeling she isn't doing very well.
