A shock of energy bolted through me and I awoke with an empty feeling in the pit of my stomach. I heard a gasp from the sitting room and Jay rushed through. 'Where's Miko?' he questioned.

*Oo wow a two liner... haha*

"Landex... i dont know why i have that effect on you or how i do it... but i need to know. please tell me." Miko seated herself on the ground in front of him, he sighed.

*Do you want Jay to be your brother? Could you please get everything you and Landex say/do in one post 'cause I have no idea what to write, lol.

'She should be in bed.' I said.

'I checked, she wasn't.' He looked frantic. I ran through and noticed she'd packed some stuff.

*ok Jay is my brother.*

"You don't need to know..." he started to walk away but she grabbed him and threw him down to the ground,

"You're going to tell me EXACTLY what i ask!" Miko was crying now but she was determined to get some answers.

Landex sighed and looked at her pleadingly... "I c-ant tel you miko..."

Miko was having none of it and looked at him without pity, "Tell Me"

"Fine. since you insist. I'll keep it short. The devil wants to be human, therefore he chose me to be his host, as in i will be his body, he will take it over and Landex will be no more. Only when i met you, he disappeared... because well... i fell in love and... that stopped the Devil for a minute... then when we're together he isnt in my body... you know? And that night at the party? we kissed.... it angered him and he took my body again... i had to leave but he made me break-in your branch... Im sorry... ive learned that the only the devil will disappear forever is..." he stopped looking at me

to kill you, as a sacrifice... Miko heard the words in her head, he was sending her the message telepathicaly, something only very wise elves can do.

"... how did .. -?" miko was speachless for two reasons

1. she was stunned that he could send telepathic messages
2. he had to kill her as a sacrifice to the devil to get rid of the devil in his body...

She couldnt finish her sentence because she was already running away... scared he might try to kill her.
her backpack still with him, she couldnt care less she ran up to her branch and flung herself onto Jay crying... her life was going to end soon... she was a wanted elf by the devil.
"I love you Jay, bro i always have." she hugged greenleaf, "And Green i love you too! you are the best friend ive ever had! bye" then she ran up to her room ignoring their stunned faces. She locked herself up. Waiting for Landex to arrive and kill her.

'We have to talk to her. Try to get through to her somehow.' I said desparately. Miko had been locked in her room for days, coming out only at night to wash and for food.

'I know Miko, she won't come out of there for anyone if what she wants to do is stay there.' Jay replied, his hands covering his face. Then it hit me.

'You stay here and keep watch. I have to find someone.' and I practically ran out the door.

*the dppr? OMG you have a dppr in your room!!! hahahahahaaa lol*

Miko sat miserably in her room, it had been 5 days. Why was Landex not here? Why hadn't he come and kill her?

Jay and Greenleaf had tried to get her to talk and come out of her room. But Miko refused, facing them and talking to them would only make her death harder for them to bare.

*fixed it, lol. You're acting like Lena! :P

I looked for Landex at the ice cream stand, but he wasn't there. Once I had exhasted all sources I looked him up in the phonebook.

'Hello.' he answered.

'Meet me at Treebucks in five minutes.'

'Fine.' he agreeded grudgingly.

I ordered and sat down at a small table away from the commotion of the main coffee shop. He was right on time, he went to say something but I cut him off.

'Look, I don't know what it is between you and Miko, but she's a wreck right now, and it's your fault.' he looked quite upset and hurt 'I'm sure she'll tell me what it is when she's ready but right now she's holed up in her room and I think the only way she'll come ouut is if you talk to her.' His head was nodding slowly.

'So what? You'll talk to her?'

'Yes.' He answered and left.

'Thanls for the envigorating conversation.' I said to thin air, and a couple passing gave me a funny look. I got up and gathered my stuff and went back to Jay.

Miko heard the front door slamming shut and Green ranting about something to Jay, then silence... another kissing competition? urgh those two were at it again.
Miko was slowly getting fed up, and she started thinking that the whole Landex devil thing had been a bad nightmare.

"Hey!" Mikoe jumped, Landex was right behind her, this is it she thought.
But Landex just held her waist and kissed her neck softly, she spun round and smacked him, "Kill me now instead of giving me the feeling that you love me!!" she screamed at him, where was his knife? or gun?
"Auwch that hurt you know? why would i kill you?" He tried to approach her again but she backed away.
"You have to kill me to get rid of the devil," Mikoe answered simply, Landex looked hurt.
"Does that have to mean i will kill you? surely we can find a way to work us out?" He looked hopeful at her, he looked at her straigt in the eyes, Miko couldnt help but smile back at him, she had a sudden urge to feel his lips on hers, to feel his body againts hers...

After a very long kissing competition-where we try to kiss for as long as possible without coming up for air, current record being 4 and a half minutes- we lay in each others arms on the toadstool.

Landex snaked his arms round Miko's waist and pulled her against him. He gazed down into her beautiful eyes, "I want to be with you Miko" he looked at her and then her heart did a double salto as his lips met hers.
After a breathtaking kiss Miko replied, "I want to be with you too Landex." She kissed him again,

"We should go down and explain to your brother and friend whats happening." Landex said, cradling her in his big arms.

they made their way down the stairs together, hand in hand.

'What are you doing?!' Jay shouted and sprang up -taking me with him-when he saw Landex and Miko.

Miko let go of Landex and went up to Jay, "Its ok bro, he aint gonna hurt me or any of us. he's a good guy."

Landex and Miko explained everything to Jay and Greenleaf, from where Landex was the devil's body thing and to Miko who could save him or be his sacrifice etc...

'So he's gonna kill you so he can be normal? And you're fine with this?' Jay fumed. I put my hand on his arm to calm him, the effect was visible, his shoulders unbunched and his face softened. ''I'm just saying it's better if he stays away from you.'

"The he is here," Landex commented, trying to keep his cool. "And i decided that i want to be with Miko because i love her, i dont want to kill her." he smiled at Jay and turned to Miko. He kissed her passionately.

Jay almost lept for Landex but I saw the signs and dragged him outside. I locked the door before he could go back through.

'He's violating my sister!!' He shouted.

'Miko obviously loves him.' I said calmly looking him in the eye 'You have to accept that, he's not going to kill her and she's happy to be with him.' We went back in and even though he was kinda twitchy he didn't try to kill Landex again.

Landex and Miko stopped kissing when they came back in, Miko was in heaven and Landex couldnt keep his hands off her.
They sat down on the couch and turned the tv on. They watched Charmed.

*what the hell do I write now, lol?

Charmed ended.

'There was a lot more ants on the braches than usual today.' I said, trying to start a conversation in this awkward atmosphere.

*ok... uhm what am i suposed to write?! ants?! remember we are HUMAN size!*

"i didnt notice..." Miko said. she didnt like the akward silence. Jay kept glaring at Landex and Landex kept glaring at Jay...
She stood up, " im going for a walk wanna come Greenleaf?"

'Sure.' I replied and got up. We might as well let the 'men' fight it out.
