They went outside and started walking through the forest. Miko didnt like the akward silence between them, "What are you thinking?" she asks.

'That you need to tread carefully with Landex.' It was partly true, the other part was how hot Jay looked when he was angry, but she really didn't need to know that.

"he's a good guy. really. you need to believe me, green. i dont want to lose you." Miko looked up at greenleaf and smiled weakly.

'You won't lose me...I just can't trust the guy. Not yet. Maybe if we find a way to kill the Devil.' I said jokingly, trying to lighten the mood.

"Me and Landex believe that if we stick together the devil will leave him eventually..."

'Surely there's got to be some ritual or something.' I suggested.

"im not into that stuff, i dont know... maybe we should ask the Old Oak elves?" The Old Oak elves where among the oldest and wisest elves, they possesed powerful utensils and humungous amount of knowledge amongst them.

'That's a brilliant idea. Why don't we go now?' I said and whistled for Noah. He came almost immediately and I hopped on.

"uh ok... but lets go home first so i can change." Miko hopped on Noah.

She changed into jeans and sweatshirt then got back on Noah and they were on their way to the Old Oak

The Old Oak was the largest tree in the whole forest. It's branches were at least five times bigger than all the others in the forest and it was 250 ft tall. I perched Noah on the highest branch and we entered the Great Hall. The Wise Ones-Drela, Manht and Grestle sat on their thrones.

We bowed before the Wise Ones. 'Oh Wise Ones, we come to ask your help.'

'You may rise.' Spoke Drela 'Now, what is it you seek Dear Ones?' She spoke kindly.

'We wish to banish the Devil out of a Poor Soul.' It was always neccessary to speak formally when addressing The Wise Ones.

'Oh of course!' She said, she was the only female Wise One and their leader, she also had a kind heart and would do anything to help anyone she considered a Poor One 'There are many Great Spells in The Book of Dresle to do with that sort of thing. Tell Mona (the head librarian) that you have special permission from The Wise Ones.' She waved a hand and we were dissmissed.

'Thank you so much!' I bowed again and left.

Miko had been quiet during all this time, because the The Wise Ones will only adress one person at a time and it was clear that GreenLeaf had been adressed and not Miko.

Once outside back on Noah, "Wow! Lets go to Mona now shall we?" Miko said and then added in a whisper, "Manht was pretty hot still considering his age..." she giggled.

'I'm going to tell Landex!' I teased like a 250 year old. 'Manht and Miko sitting in a tree!!!' I giggled. The meeting had gone well and being in the good books with The Wise Ones meant that your possibilities were limitless. Noah jumped up into the air and spread his wings and headed for The Grand Library, he always knew where I wanted to go, it was because of the connection between Rider and Animal, you see, Animals weren't just bought, they were bred specifically for one specific Elf and lived as long as said Elf.

We touched down on the Main Landing Branch of The Grand Library and sprang off Noah.

I wasn't doing this for Landex exactley, I was doing it for Miko and, unfortunately, the state of Landex affected her happiness.

'Ready?' I grinned at Miko.

All this time Miko had been on the clouds, she was so happy that they had found some sort of solution that would help Landex rid off the devil in him.

"DUH!!" She rolled her eyes and jumped off Noah, heading straight for the library entrance.

At the door she waited for Greenleaf in dispaer, "The door is locked, but the closed sign isnt on!"

'Two ticks.' I said and rummaged around in my pocket for a hair clip-how cheesey does that sound?-or some sort of long piece of metal. I found the piece of metal that I picked up randomly the other day because I thought it looked nice and I liked shiny things. I went to put it in the lock and the minute I did, the lock turned with a click and the door swung open.

'Freaky.' I commented. 'After you.' I smiled sweetley at Miko.

"b-b-but thats breaking in!! it must be locked for a reason!" Miko tried to tell greenleaf, but she was already off, MIko followed reluctantly.
It smelled wrong, and it was much darker than usual. Miko shuffled closer to Greenleaf, "Pssst something is definitely wrong!"

'Oh, lighten up, we're here to help Landex.' I reminded her, but even I couldn't deny there was something wrong with the feel of the place.

Miko just nodded, "Meh..." she looked around and started along the bookcases, at the end she turned right, into a corner and found the most horrible thing ever she screamed, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
There was Mona (or watever her name is, the librarian) her head cut off her neck
"OMG shoot greenleaf wat are we going to do?!?!?! is she deaD?!?!?"

'Well what the hell do you think!? Her head's been cut off, of course she's dead! Phone the Efice!' I said panicing, I'd left my LilyPhone on Noah.

"Shoot my fone must've fallen out of my pocket..." Miko searched frantically in her ten dozen pockets...
"What are we going to do Greenleaf?!?!?"

'I'll run and get mine!' I said as I headed for Noah. He hopped from foot to foot, sensing my distress. I dipped my hand into his feathers and fished out my LilyPhone. As soon as someone answered I started rambling 'There's been a murder at The Library.' 'Someone will be with you momentarily.' She was panicked, there was hardly any murders amony The Elves. I joged back insiode-once I'd calmed Noah-and joined Miko.

"well are they coming?!" they had been waiting for over half an hour and still nobody came.
