"I don't know." He wasn't about to mention finding her in his room at night. "So, what are we going to do today," He seemed to remember something about going out on the town.

She remembered last night. “One good thing about this time, Anti-hangover pills and liver cleaners. So I take two little pills before I go out. When I come home and go to bed for some time, I'll wake up, a not a thing, even a headache.” She ate a few piece of fruit. “I am taking you to the Court.”

Eric nodded, "Alright." he picked up some egg and ate it. After swallowing her asked, "So when are we going?" then slipped more egg into his mouth.

“Right after you get done eating, the sooner I get you to Court the easier your life here will be.” She said and then motioned for Ion to come over to her side. She wisped in to his ear. He stepped back “Yes my lady.” He walked away. “Oh and Ion, ring up Anna and tell her we are going to stop in for the check-up.” She looked back to Eric. “ Did you get far in your reading Eric?”

"I got through about year 61." He thought about how unimpressive that had to be, "Sorry i would have gone faster but it was fasinating." He finished his eggs and returned to his toast.

“Wow, you got farther then I thought you would. What year did you start?” Nevaeh asked.

"I started a hundred years ago, that will help me under stand certain developments and cultures, starting at 200 would have been pointless and starting at 50 wouldn't have been enough. Am I right?" He was a history major at his college, so he was trying to use some of that information to help him.

“Wow, you got farther then I thought you would. What year did you start?” Nevaeh asked.

Eric nodded, "yes i know i need to go back further now but i will finish what I started then return to 200 years before that.

"Are you almost done? We need to be going." Nevaeh pushed back her chair.

"Yeah, I'm done, sorry." He sighed, slipping the last piece of toast in his mouth.

“Excellent, the car is waiting for us around back. You are not afraid of flying are you?” she walk to the door and waited for him to fallow.

"Ehh....I've never done that before....." He sighed, "How bad could it be." He stood and waited for her to lead the way.

He nodded, "ok....Lets get this on." He went out the door and looked around.

Nevaeh walked out the door and Ion came around the corner with a black lace parasol in hand. “Lady the ozone is weak today. Keep the windows on high, and here for you Mister Brown.” Ion handed him a black Top Hat and the parasol to Nevaeh.
“Thank you, Ion. Now pull the car around.” She asked.
Ion pulled out a slim black remote and pushed a button. A black car like thing zoomed out and around the corner hovering just a few feet off the ground. It set down and the door opened, Nevaeh stepped in the back half of it with Ion going to the front. “Come it won’t bite.” Nevaeh poped her hand back out.

"Who said I thought it would bite," He tipped the top hat on and slipped beside, Nevaeh.

"Take her up Ion. Lets go to the Court first James is there already." Nevaeh sat back in her seat. The black screen then slid in between the to halves. "When we get higher you should look out the window. Were we live is a little more woodland the the inner rings. But still nice."

"oh ok then. I will" He waited as he felt the vehicle rise then looked out the window, "It's amazing"

"What was it like back in your time?" she leaned forward a bit.

"I lived on an open farm. There was an area the cows didn't go to the bathroom, It was a beautiful green and i would lay there and watch the bright blue skys or the tree's swaying in the wind. Every thing was alive I didn't live in a city, so i didn't really have much to do with all the urbanisation." He Leaned back in the limo remembering the smells of summer, the fresh manure and cut grass the hay and straw. "Amazingly I miss that feeling more than anything."
