Toby smiled and looked at the clock. "Ready for doom?" He asked as he washed his hands in the sink to get the stickiness off it. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair and held out a hand for her. "Time to meet our makers." He said with a mocking smile.
|
''Hell yeah? Our makers... Oh yippee~ Just what I like~'' Dia said in an sceptical voice, showing just how sarcastic that was meant. She licked of a fluid that sticked at her index finger left hand, and took toby's with the remaining right one.
|
Toby smiled and lead the way out to the dinning room where both their parents sat waiting.
"Mother, father.' He said bowing to the two slim pale vampires. |
Dia.. awkwardly smiled, and curtsied, holding her dress with the one free hand she was having. She felt the strong urge to question them about everything that happened when she wasnt there, even if that was just for half a day.
'Hello Mum, Dad' She genuinely smiled though, at which they gave a surprising happy nod. ''Good evening Miss and Mister Lyndell.'' she continued, hoping one curtsy would do for two sets of parents |
The Lyndells looked over their new daughter and smiled. "Hello, you two seem to have gotten along quite well." Tobys mother said as he sat next to her. "Not hard to do once you start talking mother." He said with a sigh.
|
Dia too patiently sat down, trying to keep herself from shaking her parents asking them if yuuki came with them, and her sister has learned this spell she had worked so hard on. ''How are you dear? Have you been doing fine?'' Her mother asked her, a smile playing her lips. Something she hadnt do in a long time.
''Ive been well, starting to feel quite lazy actually, but thats a good thing if you think about it. How is everyone?'' Dia asked back, she herself too having a smile on her face, happy to actually start realising the war is, almost, over. |
Toby's mother glared at him but said nothing else. Sighing as the food was brought in, Toby shot Dia a funny look as he felt something pulling his hair. Turning around he heard a short giggle then silence.
He looked back at Dia and raised an eyebrow. |
A smile played Diamond her lips, since she could pretty much hear the fluttery wings of the fairy that felt like teasing Toby. If only she was able to see someones eyes. Now she would have to do with feeling what they do with lips and eyebrows. She stuck out a tounge, just for a moment, before turning to her mother.
''Well... Hikari didnt learn the spell just yet, but did learn how to collect herbs, so shes happy... For now. Everyone is building and busy with their future, and are getting more happy now there is peace. The animals too feel this and you can see more of them are going outside giving the forest a very lively and happy sight. Its fun and a delight to see. The life returns to its old lively state.'' Her mother said. Dia didnt miss the slight narrowing of the eyebrows when her mother mentioned 'Animals are going outside' But she kept her smile to herself. Though she did lean her head on her hand enjoying the conversation ''Everything seems to go better and better... huh?'' Dia sighed with a melancholic smile of sorts, her mother confirming this with a pleasant silence. Somehow, hearing this... Happiness? Made her feel selfish, she was here feeling all... in denial of a child that could bring more happiness than anything else could. She probably is the only one here feeling there should be another way... Though she smiled, she could pretty much start crying anymoment, her mask being something completely different from how she really felt. |
