Toby stood before his Manor as the vampire he was to wed arrived. He sighed and looked up at the moon, He hated the idea that he was supposed to marry this damn leach, but it seemed he had no choice, since this war needed to end.

Lexi walking with the rest of her clan to the elves mansion. She really didn't need all that protection because she was fully capable of watching herself but her father told her that she was pivotal to ending this so she needed all the protection from all outside dangers. She cam up to the mansion in front of which was her soon to be husband. The elf she saw in front was handsome indeed but she went for more then looks.

"Lady Lexi, It is a pleasure to meet you." Toby said bowing as she stopped in front of you. He looked her over, she was quite fetching, by vampire standers he was sure, but to him, she did not the the glowing skin of his kind.

Lexi looked to the elven man who spoke to her and bowed "Same to you Sir Toby" She looked him in the eyes to see if she could read any ulterior motives.

"So, are you excited about the upcoming wedding?" He asked with a smile.

Lexi's face was as neutral as it was when she got here "To be honest no... but I have to" she was never one to mince words... even in front of her superiors.

"Yes, I understand that. Although I am quite excited about this war ending." He said turning to walk inside. "Shall we dine?" He asked motioning to the front door.

Alex replied "If we must" she followed Tory into the house and her escort seemed to have disappeared... but she knew better... vampires were masters of shadow. They were hiding and keeping watch. She looked around as she entered the elven mansion. As she looked she saw that it looked pretty normal except for the mythril armor here and there and the mythril weapon on the walls "Wow it looks... different than I expected"

"What did you expect? A tree?" TOBY asked leading her into the dinning room. He sat at the table and waited for her to sit with him.

Lexi sat at a seat near him though not next to him "well no But I did expect something a little more earthy to be honest... what with elves being all about nature and whatnot" Alex's red pendant shone in a ray of light that hit it from a candle on the table... it had an unnatural shine to it

((Alex? I thought her name was Lexi?))

"That's a very nice Pendent, what type of magic does it hold? As for that, the castle is alive, in case you hadn't noticed it is truly a tree, only it's been renovated over centuries and now looks more stone-like." He said as the servants brought her a goblet of blood, and him a fresh garden salad, fresh with Mint Leaves, Rose petals, and other natural greens.

Lexi replied "Oh this?... all the higher ranking members of my family have one... it allows me to walk in the daytime" She took the goblet and sniffed the blood to see how old it was... once she was satisfied she took a drink and swallowed. "So... this war... I never quite understood how this idiocy started"

"Oh, it is about the Ancient land of Albertroth. It is said to hold the powers of all creatures, and each creature wants to have command of it." He explained with small bites of his salad.

Lexi scoffed "Of course It's always about power... power should just be left alone."

"I agree, but both our kinds are power hungry." He said as the servants took his salad and replaced it with smoke Salmon. He said a prayer to this fish for giving his life to him for subsistence then dug in.

Lexi took another drink of the life giving liquid and spoke again "All races are power hungry... though reasons for the power always differentiate" As she smelt the fish she loojed over at a painting on the wall "Hmm... who might that be in that portrait?"

"That is my mother, she died a few years ago, after feeding on a human who had an STD." He said sadly.

Lexi looked to the elf "I'm sorry" she wasn't really but that was the kind of thing you said in those instances. She drank down the remainder of her blood and sat the goblet down waiting politely for Toby to finish. She hated all this etiquette stuff.

Finishing up, TOBY looked over at her. "Well, uhh....what would you like to do?" He asked slightly nervous.

Lexi looked up to Toby and said "I would like to go home and forget about this entire thing and let the war burn itself out... because to be honest this bickering doesn't concern me"

"No, but it concerns your parents." He said with a sigh. He really couldn't stand this girls Ignorance about the war. Did not concern her? It was her people dieing.

She wasn't ignorant... far from it... she was fully aware... or forced to be fully aware. "I just can't stand the ignorance of people is all"

"I see." He sighed closing his eyes. This would take some getting used to.

Alexnadria looked to Toby "Okay so when are we doing this wedding... I would prefer to get this over with... Then you sire my child and the whole idiocy will be over"
