Tensing up immediately, Brooke mentally prepared herself for a fight. She couldn't believe it. Demon cows! She looked over at Miwa to see what she would do. All she had was Telepathy to work with. "Why couldn't I have asked for something better?" She muttered under her breath. Then Brooke had an idea. Why not try picking up a cow with her mind? This did come in handy! Unfortunately, Brooke was only able to pick one up. Concentrating hard, the first cow levitated in the air. It went from looking angry to confused. It let out a loud noise that, to Brooke, sounded like a snort. She wondered if she could fling the cow. Turns out, she could. It only landed a couple feet away, where it immediately got back up on its feet and began charging again. Brooke repeated the process, and flung the second cow in line a little bit further. This was mentally exhausting. She could feel herself beginning to sweat, and she hadn't even left the jeep.

"A lot of good that did," Sanzo commented as he jumped up out of his seat while he raised his banishing gun. "Sit down and stay down before you brain melts out your ears." He took aim at one cow and Goku jumped up yelling "nooo!" Sanzo's shot when right over the raging cow's head. They all paused for a moment, confused, then continued on their rampage.
"What the hell!? Do you want to be trambled by a thousand bovines?" Goku pouted.
"If there are demon cows, there must be some real demon behind all this," Hakkai stated. Just as Sanzo was starting to sit back down Hakkai turned a hard left and everybody nearly fell out off the jeep.
"Holy crap Hakkai! Where did you learn to drive!" Miwa shouted as she covered her head between her knees.
Just as usual all the boys suddenly got that knowing look. The one that they got each time there was a demon nearby. Sure enough there was one far back behind the cows. Oh, and about a dozen or so behind him too. And Hakkai was driving right towards them.
Before the jeep even stopped Goku was already flying out of the jeep with his nyubyo (sp? lol) ready.

Brooke watched as Goku jumped out of the jeep, ready for a fight. She pulled out her own weapons. She had her own staff, which could extend even longer, and a short katana, which was on her back. She was right behind Goku, anxious for some action. It would be easy to take out the cows. They were stupid. She at least wanted to save one or two for food, but they had to take out the demon first. To show off a bit, she did a couple backflips before landing on her feet in a crouched position, one hand grasping the staff in the middle, the other hand holding herself upright. Brooke had a wicked grin on her face as she waited for someone else to make the first move.

((Oh yeah I was going to say.. Pretend we got the weapons before we left xD hurhur))

Okay, so they were told the Merciful Goddess made them more usefull. But Dayum! "That girl has got some moves," Gojyo said. "That's my kind of woman."
Hakkai was about to make a comment about Gojyo's 'type of women' when the demons started yapping. "Not this crap again."
"Sanzo party!" The demon shouted with an accusing finger.
"PLUS TWO!" Miwa shouted as she pulled out her magical bow; magical because it appeared out of nowhere and had unlimited ammo. She took aim for the demon who gave her a surprised look.
"Two?" The demon said, clearly confused. He looked at his comrads and they all shook their heads and shrugged. "WHO CARES!" He shouted in return. He turned to his buddy demons and ordered them captured, the rest killed, and the scripture obtained.
"OH no you don't!" Goku shouted as he jumped into the air, dilvering a swift gick to the demons chin. The demon when flying into the air. This caused the cows to charge Goku in reaction. "AHH!" He started swinging his staff the cows, beating them down one at a time.
"And that is how beef becomes so tender," Hakkai joked.
"Tch, this is how you piss me off," Sanzo said as he pointed his gun at the demon. "Have your cows stand down or they're dinner."
Goku would have made some comment about steak but he was to busy fighting off cows. Miwa was trying to help by shooting arrows at the cows, but they didn't seem too effected by them.

With the staff in one hand, Brooke held her katana in the other. "I'm hungry," she moaned. "I want food." Brooke stood up and ran at the cows, swinging her katana. She managed to nick a cow, but that was the extent of the damage. They were protected by some sort of power. Backing up, she looked helplessly at Miwa. Glaring back at the cows, she raised her staff and brought it down hard on a cow's head. The cow let out a loud grunt that didn't sound very cow-like. Brooke backed up even more. "I think they're possessed." she said, stating the complete obvious.

"No shit," Gojyo said as he jumped out of the jeep. "You guys keep those cows occupied, we'll get the demons." Gojyo pulled out his shakugetsujyo and started to attack the demons along with Hakkai. Miwa was pretty much useless against the cows she focused aim on the other demons. She shot one right in the middle of the forhead and he exploded like all demons do when they die.. Sanzo glared at her.
"Stop killing my targets!" He finally yelled at her after she had shot 3 other demons before him. Miwa laughed at him and stuck out her tongue.
"Oh, she's one up-ing master Sanzo," Gojyo said.
Finally all the demons were dead accept the one. He begged for mercy but there was none left to spare, so Sanzo shot him in the face and the cows went to normal.
"Mooo?"

"Dinner!" Brooke yelled, now that the fight was over. She put her weapons in the jeep for now and walked back over to stand next to Goku. "Oh man, I'm so hungry I could eat a whole cow!" She moaned, clutching her stomach. She looked over to Sanzo to see what he would do. "Should we start a fire and cook one or two?" she asked quietly.

Of course it was no use arguing with Brooke and Goku. However, Hakkai suggested to stick one on the back of the jeep and they'd have somebody cut it up and cook it for them at the next town. Goku sighed in disappointment; he wanted to eat now. Sanzo wasn't about to stop mid-day just to make camp to cook a damn cow. He was even reluctant to bring one along. Hakkai convinced him that it wouldn't hurt anything, so he finally complied.
Sanzo wasn't talking much, mostly just fuming. Miwa had taking half his shots if not more and it pissed him off. It didn't help that Gojyo was teasing him about it either. But in the end Sanzo started bitching about how he spent time to become this good and that she was only like this because of a "damn goddess".
