Derrick nods toward the woods. "Come, Virsat. We'll discuss this further after you've fed. I'll not have you turning savage because you haven't eaten." He starts to move again, leading the way deeper into the woods, always sniffing in hopes of picking up a deer's trail.
In less than a minute, he gets the scent he was looking for. A herd of deer were just ahead. "How do you want to work this? Shall I bring it back to you, or do you want to kill it yourself?"

Virsat might not know very many things, but he did know alot of other things. Frowning he followed Derrick into the woods. Moving silently and easily over twigs and fallen leaves. Finally, when Derrick caught scent of the herd, Virsat stopped. His eyes were set, a bit more fierce than they should have been. "You didn't answer my question about the silver and you called MY Tidar a liar, you never even knew him. You cannot say he is a liar," His hands clenched and unclenched as anger seemed to radiate from him. Anger and something else.
The burn in his veins was more fierce than before and his eyes seemed to be glowing even more. Virsat had begun to back away from Derrick, shaking his head, he could feel it..It wasn't supposed to happen. Tidar told him..he was to never let this happen. His voice had dropped a a bit, taking on a more dark, smooth and almost calm tone, with a very small hint of hysteric in it. "I..am losing myself.." What would they do to him now? He felt like he was losing his mind. Scents were strong, and he could smell Derrick's blood. His right arm shot out to the side, grabbing the trunk of a tree, those fingers digging into it's bark so easily, so effortlessly as he clutched at it. Other scents, other blood. Deer, close by. Derrick even closer..Food. Both were food. Virsat shook his head. Derrick was a Vampire, not food..but the deer.
A decision had to be made and fast. Tidar wasn't here to tell him what to do..wasn't here to make sure he didn't go insane, that hand fell from the tree trunk. Virsat was running, in the direction of the deer, if he could get closer to them..he would be more likely to harm them instead of Derrick if he lost complete control. At least..for the moment he could still think rationally.

Derrick groans, unable to resist rolling his eyes. This is why I wanted to get him fed before answering his questions. What am I getting myself into...? I've never sired before... Now I think I know why. He takes off after the blood lusting vampire, keeping back a bit, but staying with him. After a few hundred yards, it occurs to him that should Virsat actually attack him, like his eyes looked like he wanted to do initially, Derrick should be vampire to deal with it.
He shifted while leaping over a log, forcing it in that half instant that he was in the air. As a vampire, he had to use more scent than sight to follow the younger vamp, but either way, following him wasn't too hard. If he actually took down a deer, Derrick would be surprised. Deer weren't as stupid as people made them out to be. They had good senses for detecting predators.
Once he'd caught up with Virsat, he leaped into the branches above him, making sure to keep his scent from reaching the hungry vampire, and watched over his actions, just in case he should go on a killing spree.
~X~
Johnny sits on backwards on his bike, leaning against the handlebars, one of his feet up on the seat. The way he was sitting, he was the personification of 'relaxation'. He was watching the oncoming traffic, not for anything in particular, but out of boredom. To be honest, he was actually counting how many vehicles that went by still used gas and how many were hover cars and even how many were noticeably electric.
He was pleased to see that not many hover cars were owned yet. At least the world hadn't sunk too far into that hole yet. But at least it had also begun to dig itself back out of the hole it was in.
Maybe if he continued to stick around the tiger, he'd see a time when they began inhabiting other planets and such, like science fiction novels of the 20th century. "Right, that'll be the day. Vampires on Mars."

Virsat did go on a killing spree. Any animal that happened to cross his path before he even got to that herd of deer was left bloodless in his wake. Granted only one thing had crossed his path. A rabbit. He had moved with such speed. Speed that was nearly impossible. Finally he was close enough to the herd. Silently he moved, bursting out in the open area they were in without a sound and his movements seeming like a blur. He had felled three deer before the herd realized what had happened. Their throats bitten open, one of them a very large buck.
Three was all he killed, though he could've gone for more, something told him only three. He drained the last one he killed first then moved back to the one before it, draining it of it's blood and then the last one. Halfway done with that one, his eyes closed and he pulled away..Crimson eyes opening again and he blinked. Looking this way and that. Where was Derrick? Had the Vampire abandoned him? Then those questions were pushed away as he hid his face against the deer and drained it of it's last bit of blood. His hunger sated, he laid back on the ground. Eyes on the sky. Full. Content.

"Good boy. Now maybe you'll listen to me and not be so rash in your judgment? I'm trying to help you, and I would like for you to at least give me a chance to help you." The tiger, for that what he was once more, leaped into view. Actually, he'd jumped from a tree branch on the edge of the clearing where the deer had been, but it would have looked like he'd leaped into the clearing. "Oh, and you saved the best part for me, how kind of you. May I?"

Virsat sat up quickly, though his movements would not be as quick as when in a bloodlust. Blinking a bit as he looked at Derrick and he smiled. He smiled brightly at the tiger. Derrick had called him a good boy. He had done something good. He wriggled a bit as he sat there on the ground. He looked at the dead deer then at Derrick. Nodding a bit, his nose wrinkling slightly. "Meat doesn't taste good though..." He scratched his head and watched Derrick.

Derrick grins a tiger's smile, his eyes twinkling as the smile reaches them. "Maybe it doesn't taste good to you, Virsat. My tiger's stomach prefers meat to just blood." He doesn't tear into the deer like he'd done to the vampires he and Johnny had eaten earlier. That savagery was reserved for rogues. Instead he cuts off sections with his claws, and gnaws on them till they're cleaned. He'd finished off two of the deer before his hunger had sated. "Yes, Virsat, I have silver. Like I said before, it doesn't bother me. I'm not allergic to it, and like I also said, some hunters keep it to use on rogues that need to be dispatched." He shifts back to vampire, even though he knows Virsat preferred his furry side better.
"You won't see the silver if you don't want to. It's in a place that it won't touch you or hurt you." He makes sure that the sated vampire can see that he's telling the truth and that he's not trying to scare him. "I'm telling you this because I don't want to lie to you. You need to know ahead of time that I have it, just in case I need to draw it out later." He holds out his hand to Virsat. "Come, lets not leave that wolf around my bike for too long. I'd hate to get back and it be hot pink, or something else insulting like that."

Running through what was left of the house, The giant howled a blood curdling howl as he finished off the family. A small whimper in the corner made him more of the small little girl in the corner. Growling he stalked forward, teeth barred as he came within a few inches from her. His hot breath blowing in her face, as tears rolled down her rosy cheeks. With another howl he lunged at her....
Screamed Caprica sat up covered in cold sweat. She quickly looked around, making sure no one had heard her. An old habit, even though she now remembered she was alone. "Jesus." She cursed wiping tears from her eyes. She stood up and grabbed her pallet, then wrapped it up and shoved it in her bag. She walked over to her black Harley and jumped on.
She had heard of a town where some of her kind and vampires coexisted, if barely. She had been on her way there but had grown increasingly tired. So she had stopped on the side of the road at an old abandoned house, and fallen asleep. Now she started her bike and drove off hoping not to run into anymore trouble.

Johnny was bored out of his mind. He hadn't been this idle in months, if not years, since the last time he stopped for a day or two in a dead vamp's house. Granted, there were so many dead vampires in his past, wolves too. The murderous rogues never have rested, and he really didn't either. "Oh come on, cat. How long does it take to kill a couple deer, let the kid eat, strip them to bone and get back to the bike?" He groans, shifting his position ever so slightly and falling off the side of his bike into the dirt. "Damnit." He just lays there, looking up at the night sky that he'd seen so many times since becoming a hunter when he was a teenager.

She finally made it into the city. But it seemed dead, as if nothing was left living or dead. It wasn't a big city so she quickly killed the bike and hid it behind a few dumpsters. Her boots made crunching noises as she walked along. She usually whistled while she walked, but she felt it might be to loud in this ghost town. Instead she just walked, looking in windows watching for signs of life.

He had frowned when the conversation turned to silver. Derrick had it..Derrick used it. Virsat's hand had gone up to the side of his face. Fingers tracing over that tattoo like marking under his eye. For a moment he was worried. But Derrick had continued speaking and as he spoke Virsat's frown slowly melted away and that hand had lowered from his face. Reaching out and taking the hand that Derrick offered him and standing.
"Lying is bad." He mumbled the words softly shaking his head some. Honestly he didn't think the wolf would bother Derrick's bike. Virsat's fingers had closed tightly around Derrick's hand and it didn't seem like he really wanted to let go. It was nice, having something real to cling to again..would it end badly?

Derrick saw him touch the side of his face, the mark under his eye, and instantly knew that silver made it. He reaches his own hand up to Virsat's marking, but doesn't touch it. "Silver burns. That explains a lot." He makes sure Virsat is looking him in the eye when he makes his vow. "I'll never burn you with silver, Virsat. I won't allow it. It's such a dirty thing to do to someone. I use it to kill rogues when I can't turn tiger to do it. Tigers don't go over well in cities." He grins slowly, as though remembering something funny. "For some reason, people seem scared of big kitties."
Derrick starts to move back to the bikes. "Come, lets get to the city before the sun comes up again." He tugs on Virsat's hand, not forcefully, but as an invitation to follow.

He had almost..almost flinched when Derrick's hand raised to his face. It took a lot of self control to not flinch but he managed pretty well. Only wincing slightly even though Derrick didn't touch his face. He smiled gently at Derrick, surprised at the intensity of his tone and eyes. Then he shrugged. "I like kitties."
When Derrick began moving he moved with him. "You're a very pretty kitty." He mumbled the words softly and chewed his bottom lip lightly. Looking down as they walked. Maybe..he shouldn't have said it..but it was true. At least in his opinion.

Walking through what was left of the town, she pulled her hair up and looked around. It was indeed a ghost town. She had already broken into two stores and grabbed some clothes since she had none, and some things to snack on. Right now she was eating peaches out of a can she had opened with a claw. She sighed and wished she could find someone to talk to, or at least to hang out with so she wouldn't be alone.
She suddenly heard two voices. She walked towards them, and saw to people walking towards her from out of the town. She didn't walk any closer, what if they were dangerous. She dropped the can and strapped her bag tighter and waited for them to get closer.

"A pretty kitty, huh?" Derrick chuckles, not having heard that in a long time. "Heh, that's one I haven't heard in many years." He looks up at the trees, able to actually look at them when not running through them at light speeds. "The black fur with red stripes thing, I don't think I could have come up with such a combination had I had the choice." Derrick looks to Virsat, running his free hand through his spiked hair. "I didn't ask, I keep forgetting, how old are you anyway?"

"I like your colors." With his free hand, he tucked strands of that long black hair behind an ear. Crimson eyes only on the path before them..well..there wasn't really a path but it was their path, the one they had used to come into the woods. Virsat was tall, maybe just an inch shorter than Derrick, maybe more than an inch. He only looked about 20 or so. His nose wrinkled a bit at the question and those shoulders rose and fell in a light shrug. "A hundred and fifty..." Then, as if added in afterthought. "How long will I have to ride that bike?"

Derrick's eyes widened, and he had to remember to keep walking forward, lest Virsat think he'd said something wrong. Oh god, a hundred and fifty years of training that needs to be over written... If his sanity comes out of this intact, I'll be one amazed kitty. He shakes his head slightly to clear his thoughts, not wanting to worry the long haired vampire. "Just a while longer."
He does stop for a minute to ask Virsat something that he needed to know before continuing on their journey though. "Are you alright riding with me, knowing that I have the silver, or would you prefer to ride with Johnny?" He didn't want Virsat to think he was being tortured to be so close to silver, even if the vamp didn't know where it was.

((Forget earlier posts, I miss read your guys posts))
Deciding her torn up jeans and worn out tank top needed to be replaced Caprisa found a store that sold clothes and busted the window, the alarm was off so she stepped inside and walked through the clothes. She found a few shirts, and pair of pants and a cute black and red striped hoodie. She left a few bucks on the counter then stepped out and found an alley and changed.

They walked along and Virsat was content. Holding to Derrick's hand, perhaps a bit tighter than was necessary, but for Virsat it was comfortable. Or rather. Comforting to have another person to cling to..physically and emotionally. So far this person had been alot different than Tidar and Virsat was not entirely sure how to handle Derrick, though it seemed to him it would take alot to make Derrick angry at him. Unlike Tidar..it had taken very little to cause that man to jump into a fit of anger.
Virsat's thoughts stopped when Derrick stopped. For a moment worried, but then that quickly passed when Derrick said what was on his mind. He shook his head a bit and those fingers tightened a little more around Derrick's hand. "I'm alright...It's more comfortable, being around you." It wasn't that he didn't like Johnny, it was just..his presance wasn't as comforting or comfortable as Derricks. He frowned. Maybe he shouldn't have said that..what if Derrick got angry, thinking he had insulted his friend and Virsat was not trying to insult anyone.

Derrick grins again, giving a small laugh at that. "Yeah, he seems a bit rough around the edges, doesn't he? I'd think he was a rogue wolf, but he doesn't act like one."
They make it back out of the trees a few minutes later. "Shall I jump us across, or do you want to play leap frog?" Traffic had picked up quite a bit since they'd gone into the woods to hunt. Wow, how long were we gone for...?
Across the lanes of traffic, Johnny was leaning against his bike again. He didn't bother trying to shout over the rushing vehicles, figuring the vampires wouldn't hear him anyway.

When they came out of the woods, Virsat took a few steps back. Eyeing that traffic rather warily and with apparent apprehension. He looked at Derrick, a quizzical expression on his face. "What's 'leap frog'?" Then those crimson eyes darted this way and that. "..I don't see any frogs.." He stated it with a bit of uncertainty in his voice. His eyes once again on that traffic. He frowned at it.

Derrick laughs, a sound that doesn't emanate from him often enough. "It's a game the fledgelings of my master used to play around the time I was turned. We'd all go out to the eight lane freeway and jump across. If you mistimed, you got hit by a car or something." He looks at the traffic ahead of him now. "I was never old enough to play with them, I just watched them play their games. Eventually, my master heard of it and punished everyone that played it. The others never allowed me alone with them again, even though I wasn't the one that told Dorjan about the game to begin with."
He shakes his head, clearing the old memories from his mind. "Anyway, basically, I'd hold on to you, and leap into the median strip, then leap again to where the bikes are. It's faster than waiting for the cars to stop flying by."

Virsat had shaken his head during the explanation of that game. It seemed very dangerous to him and he had no desire to play it. He didn't wish to get hit by a car. He blinked and stared at Derrick. "Your Master had more? He wasn't satisfied with just you?" He frowned slightly, Tidar had always threatened to trade him in for a better behaved..companion..but had never actually done it. He had also threatened to acquire more so that Virsat could watch how a companion properly behaved. But again, Tidar had never actually gone through with his threats. He fidgeted a bit on his feet.

Derrick shakes his head, knowing that he wasn't explaining his history very well. "No, my master didn't turn me. At least, he said he didn't. Either way, the master and my sire, should they be both or separate, they're dead and gone. As far as I know, none of my kind exist anymore."
He snags Virsat quickly, holding him close, holding him safe, and leaps across the two lanes of traffic, landing easily into the median. As soon as he'd landed, he was leaping across the other two lanes, clearing them easily. He puts Virsat down next to his bike. "Sorry Virsat, but it was the only way to cross safely. I knew I could make it no problem, and I knew I could take you with me. Please don't hate me for it."
