Virsat was awake when Derrick left the room. His head still hidden under that pillow and the rest of his body under the blanket. He didn't move. Only listened to Derrick's footsteps and then the soft click of the door closing behind him. He was afraid..he was afraid that Derrick was going to just leave him..leave him and Johnny..and if that happened, would Johnny abandon him too? He frowned and fought back the small whimper.

When he heard that car alarm go of, he jerked up. The pillow falling to the side as he sat up in the bed. He didn't have to concentrate hard to hear other sounds outside..his hearing was sensitive..but..he really didn't hear anything important. Maybe Derrick was still outside? He glanced over to Johnny and then silently slipped out of bed, opening the door and sticking his head out of it. Derrick's bike was still there, as he knew it would be, he hadn't heard it start. He stepped over the threshold and looked. There was Derrick, sword in hand going towards a human that seemed to be fighting Vampires.

Virsat shivered and literally jumped back into the room. Slamming the door behind him and rushing to Johnny, leaping onto the wolf and straddling him. His hands on Johnny's shoulders as he shook him a bit. "Johnny..Johnny...There's a human outside..and Derrick has a sword and I think he's going to fight some other vampires....Do something! Don't let him get hurt!"

Chryssta 02-08-2010 02:30 AM

Johnny shook his head and rolled over, promptly falling off the bed. "Gawd, what do you care. He supposedly raped you, remember? Decide whether you hate him or not. I'm sleeping." He wasn't actually sleeping by that point, of course, but he didn't want to fight vampires before waking up fully. Besides, a different and sudden urge came over him as his mind slowly woke up. "Ugh, to be a vampire and not have to pee..." With that, he was up and stumbling like a drunk toward the bathroom door.

~X~

Outside, Derrick continued his approach on the fight, stopping a dozen or so feet from the group. He was waiting for them to make the first move.

Kry 02-08-2010 02:36 AM

He blinked when Johnny hit the floor. "I never said I hated him. He didn't rape me..he was unsuccessful at it...but I NEVER said I hated him." He scowled at the wolf and when Johnny was up and stumbling towards the bathroom, Virsat was on his feet and rushing towards Johnny, grabbing his arm and tugging on it. "No no no no no!! You're going the wrong way!" There was urgency and fear in his crimson eyes. As well as his voice. "Save him!...Please! Go save him!" He was wriggling and bouncing on his feet and tugging harder on Johnny's arm. "Please!" He whimpered.

MintyRey 02-08-2010 02:40 AM

A puzzled look fell on everyone's faces.

"Do I kno-?" Kyla began but was interrupted by Delilah.

"Who are you? Her boyfriend?" she asked mockingly, eyeing the silver sword he had. "You better dump her then, boy. She's not worth the trouble of getting yourself killed." But after awhile, she as well as her comrades realized that he wasn't human.

"Maybe he helped her steal Harv's car." Another teen behind her suggested. "I doubt that human could take out Harvey and his group on her own." The fool was a little too full of himself to have noticed that the human already took out four supernaturals on her own. "Harv's too tough."

Delilah rolled her eyes at his fanaticism but did nothing to reprimand him.

Ty and his taller companion merely watched the drama. "Now this is interesting." he said to his companion. "Gonna help the kids out Vince? We still need them against the Leots you know."

"Hold on...That boy looks familiar..." the smoking man said as he looked the spiky haired vampire up and down. "Don't we know him from somewhere?"

The vampire who Kyla managed to down turned to face the black clad newcomer. "Whatever, get lost!" he threw a hard left to the guy, not having noticed the silver on his sword.

Chryssta 02-08-2010 02:49 AM

"Damnit boy, let me relieve my bladder and I'll see what I can do, okay??" Derrick didn't care that he wasn't even in his thirties yet, and that he wasn't nearly as old as his companions, at the moment, he was the oldest acting creature present in the room. "Not that a few vampires could hurt the old cat, I'm sure. I'd doubt he'd even used one of his nine lives yet." Johnny shakes Virsat off his arm, leaving the door open as he relieved himself and washed his hands and face to wake up fully. He shakes his head, knowing the young vampire was positively freaking out in the main room. He opted to hold off on the shower, knowing that Virsat wouldn't let him take one.

Leaving the bathroom, he glares at Virsat. "I'll help him on one condition." He makes no move toward the door until Virsat says the magic words.

~X~

"Now why would I listen to some half baked rogue like you?" He grinned, his fangs catching the light around them and glinting out from the shadows that seemed to surround him. "Not that I'd expect you to know all your elders fledgling, you should at least know who killed you." He draws the sword in front of himself, flicking it to the side and sending reflections toward the group of miscreants. "My name is Derrick and my job is slaying filth."

When the moron tried to punch him, he ducked under him, arcing the sword's blade over his head, the metal twanging slightly as it severed the bones in the attacker's arm. "Shall we begin then?"

Kry 02-08-2010 03:01 AM

Virsat frowned when Johnny shook him off. Frowning deeply and looking very worried. He bounced on his feet and was chewing his bottom lip lightly the whole time Johnny was in the bathroom. Fidgeting and wriggling. He had even pulled that long rope of braided hair over one shoulder and was worrying his fingers over it. When Johnny came back out of the bathroom he looked at him, with a hopeful look in his eyes.

Those words turned that hopeful look to a look of worry and he backed up a step or two. "..A condition?" He hesitated for a moment, but only a moment before nodding. "..O-okay."

MintyRey 02-08-2010 03:22 AM

The man screamed as his arm flew a few feet away from him. Silver. It burned his wound and in his mind. He continued to scream for another minute before hunching over in a fit of manic laughter. "You! You actually think silver can kill me?!" he was still in pain but it wouldn't be so for long. His arm might not heal back because of a small reaction to silver but he could reattach it later on as long as he let blood flow back into it. "I'm not that pathetic!" with his remaining hand he reached for a gun on his belt. He fired two shots at Derrick's chest. They had silver bullets as well.

Now the rest of the group had drawn their weapons. They didn't think it would be necessary against the human but now there was a real threat. While the two remaining males had guns as well, the girl had a silver sword. It was practical for vampires and werewolves to carry silver weapons. Especially if they frequently fought with other non-humans.

Ty and Vince remained unfazed by the assault on their team member, continuing to watch from the side. Meanwhile, Kyla used this opportunity to back away even further from the fight. Running would be pointless since the others would most likely chase after her anyway. At least she wouldn't be in range of any blindingly swift attack and hoped that the others would keep their focus on a new nuisance instead. But should he get in trouble too, she still had her silver dagger. She would just have to behead the unaffected Delilah if she survived the fight.

Chryssta 02-08-2010 03:44 AM

Derrick looks down at his chest, the grin still on his face widening as the silver started to ease out of his flesh. "You know, being more than two hundred years old has it's advantages." The slugs made a ringing bell sound as they bounced on the pavement at his feet. "Oh, silver doesn't hurt, by the way, just thought you should know." He moves close to the one armed bandit, driving his sword deep into the rogue's ribcage. "It's not just silver. It's also a sword. And it cuts." He jumps to the side, dragging the sword through the rogue's body in the process, heading toward one of the other young vampires.

~X~

Johnny pulls on his boots, noticing that Derrick's boots were indeed missing. At the sounds of gunfire, he turns to Virsat once more. "The condition is this. You must believe Derrick and myself when we say that the kiss he gave you was not meant to harm you or to lead up to harming you. He didn't mean to scare you. If you can believe that, I'll join the fight."

Even though he'd said that, Johnny was getting worried about the old cat out there fighting against unknown numbers. "Also, you have to stay in here, they'll probably be using silver in their guns." He grips Virsat's shoulders, forcing him to look in Johnny's eyes. "Will you abide the condition I laid out for you?"

~X~

He was charging toward the female with pellet wounds marking her abdomen, the sword to his side, ready to be drawn up in a skyward slash. His arms tense as he gets closer, pulling the sword up as he came in close with the female. Already Derrick's eyes held a fighter's blood lust. His inner wildcat hunter was enjoying the fight. The bloodshed.

Kry 02-08-2010 03:58 AM

Virsat was looking more worried. Mostly he was worried for Derrick and wished Johnny would hurry up and go save him. He looked down at Johnny's words. Frowning again. How could he believe something that wasn't true? His brow furrowed. When Johnny took him by the shoulders, Virsat looked up at him. Those crimson eyes filled with worry and uncertainty as he looked in Johnny's eyes.

That uncertainty slowly faded as he nodded. Afterall..it had felt nice when Derrick had kissed his cheek...so..maybe it wasn't such a bad thing for Derrick to kiss him at all? When Tidar had kissed him it always filled him with dread because it meant bad things were soon to follow. He nodded again. "....It...it did feel...different..when he did it..." He shifted a bit on his feet. "..I don't think you or Derrick would hurt me on purpose....Just please..please go help him." He wriggled a bit in Johnny's grip. "I won't go outside.." He shivered a bit.

MintyRey 02-08-2010 04:00 AM

Delilah allowed herself to be cut by the blade and used this time to swing her own sword at his neck. "You think silver affects me as well? I'm just like you!"

The two behind her, however, jumped back and aimed their fire at the man's legs and arm, hoping to injure his joints so he at least wouldn't be able to move. They knew the bullets could just come back out if they got lodged in his flesh but the joints were less dense than the chest and the bullets could easily come out the other side. If they got enough bullets through fast enough, they could shoot off a limb.

Chryssta 02-08-2010 04:24 AM

Derrick dodges the bullets as best he can, one or two of them clipping the sides of his legs as he swings the sword back down, reversing the arc, and sending the blade deep into the shoulder, collarbone, and spinal column on the downward arc of his thrust. "Silver edged or not, moron, it's still a sword. It still cuts." He rips the sword out, knowing the girl wasn't dead, and spins quickly, taking her head off in one clean swipe of the blade. "Next?"

~X~

Johnny nods, patting him on the top of his head gently. "Good boy. Stay here, stay hidden, and stay away from the windows." He bolts from the room, going to his own bike and getting a set of knives from the side pockets, and a plasma sword from a place on the side of the bike. He wasn't fond of the sword, since it emitted radiation that made his fur glow for a couple days after he uses it, but it did the job well enough.

Seeing as he was more humanoid than Derrick, he had some trepidations about leaping off the second floor, but he didn't want to run down all the stairs. He settled on running to the landing and leaping the rest of the way down. In moments, he'd drawn the plasma sword, the green blade arcing out of the titanium hilt, and was slicing through one of the wolves firing on Derrick. "How many times do I have to save your ass, you old cat?"

Derrick doesn't acknowledge Johnny's arrival, but he moves into position that is best for when two people are fighting many. "You can worry about if my ass is saved or not when they aren't moving anymore."

Kry 02-08-2010 04:42 AM

Virsat had nodded, relieved that Johnny would help. When the wolf was out the door, he pulled one of the blankets off of one of the beds and sat down on the floor between the two beds with the blanket around him and over his head, though enough space was left open so he could still look out from beneath the blanket over his head. Virsat clutched that blanket tightly around him. He wouldn't go outside..Johnny told him not to..and it was dangerous. However, he didn't like not being able to watch..to watch and make sure Derrick and Johnny weren't getting hurt...Not..that he would be able to do much even if they were. He shuddered. Frowning deeply.

MintyRey 02-08-2010 04:56 AM

Kyla's worry about having to fight the vampire girl disappeared after the beheading. 'I guess I can just let them handle this' she thought, watching as another man joined the fray and took out one of the shooters with a plasma sword. An odd choice for a weapon in Kyla's book. It was then that she realized the new arrival was none other than the hobo jerk from her family's farm.

The werewolf that had been slashed screamed as the plasma burned his insides and fell to the ground writhing in pain. But he wasn't dead yet though it would be a while before he could get up again. There was only one shooter left, still firing at the red and black haired sword wielder but now backing away with worry. He didn't need to panic for long as a loud howl echoed through the area. The booming voice set off other car alarms and broke many windows. Kyla could swear she had just gone deaf even though she had her ears covered as tightly as possible.

Where the man with a cigarette had been now stood a massive black wolf taller than a three story building. It was hard to imagine one roaming the city with ease but there it stood. At least the streets were wide enough for it to stand in. The great wolf snarled at the two fighters, bearing its sharp fangs.

"You boys are quite troublesome. Any chance you want to join our team? We'll even leave the woman alone. Forget about the car." Ty had a smile on his face but glared dangerously at the two younger supernaturals before him. He was well over 300 years old and his canine partner was at least half a millenium old, more ancient than the average werewolf.

Chryssta 02-08-2010 05:17 AM

Johnny turns to glare at the girl they were trying to save. "You took their car?! How could you be so stupid?" He stabs down into the injured male's head with his sword, burning through the skull easily, killing him quickly. He turns his attention to the vampire and the giant wolf. "I just recently turned twenty-three, and I'm easily taking down your lackeys. Age only allows for a few advantages in fights." He'd heard Derrick mention his age earlier. He leaps toward the other gun wielding 'lackey', bringing the plasma blade up in an arc in the process, removing the rogue's right side from his left.

Derrick whistles appreciatively. "I think that's a resounding 'no' from the wolf here. And I've never been too good at joining up with the crime syndicates, or staying in one place for too long for that matter." He flashes out of existence beside Johnny, and runs toward the giant wolf, leaping from handhold to handhold as he climbs the side of the creature. "Hey Johnny! Think this thing will feed us for awhile?"

Johnny laughs, turning off the sword for a moment to cool off his hand. The downside to the plasma blade was that it made his hand hot after extended uses. "You wouldn't want to eat that. Who knows where it's been!" He flips on the sword again, following Derrick's lead and running for the huge wolf. "Size isn't everything, you know. Hey Derrick, think maybe he's compensating for something?"

Derrick laughs from on top of the huge wolf's head. "Does it matter? Lets just kill it so we can leave this place."

Ember Mist 02-08-2010 05:25 AM

Hearing Voices yelling Caprisa got out of bed again. She opened her door, and could clearly hear the sounds of fighting. She ran to her bike and unlocked the small case she had welded onto the bike and pulled out her fathers old Golden Gun. She ran towards the group and could see it was the werewolf from earlier and one of the Vampires. They were helping another human fight off a group that was attacking her. "Need some help?" She asked cocking her gun.

MintyRey 02-08-2010 05:53 AM

"Don't know what you're talking about." Kyla replied to the werewolf's insult, feigning ignorance.

"I guess not." Ty replied after hearing the vampire's answer.

"Not so fast brat!" Vince growled before ramming his head into a building to squish the vampire above him. The side of the building crumbled but the werewolf remained uninjured. Meanwhile, down on the ground, the vampire vanished in the blink of an eye and appeared behind the brown haired fighter. Such was his blinding speed. He punched the long haired young werewolf with enough force to send a car flying down the street.

Kyla could barely keep up with the vampire's speed but she did catch sight of a girl with a gun who offered help. "Help them!!" she yelled, trying her best to scream above the noise of the many car alarms. She pointed in the direction of the two men who saved her even though it was the same direction of the two enemies.

Ember Mist 02-08-2010 06:52 AM

Nodding her head she ran to the group and pulled the trigger at the Werewolf who had just rammed his head into the building. The bullet punctured his arm, and the smell of burning flesh was quite noticeable. She had never fought a werewolf with her gun before, or at all really, she had half expected the werewolf to just die, like most vampires did when she shot them. Well Crap. She sighed knowing the werewolf would want some type of retaliation. She wouldn't allow that. She pulled the trigger again shooting the wolf in the side of the head. Same affect, only a bigger hole.

MintyRey 02-08-2010 07:29 AM

The giant wolf snarled at the small bullets fired at him before laughing. "You actually think a pathetic gun can kill me?!" he growled at the girl. He wasn't even phased by the insignificant damage to his huge arm and face and pulled his head away from the building, leaving a huge crater. His clawed paw swiftly came down on where the white haired girl was with enough power to break the pavement.

"Look out!!" a startled Kyla screamed. She raised her arms to block some of the gravel that came flying her way after the hit. This was getting a little too dangerous for her and she looked around for a safer place to run to. But where? A giant wolf and a fast vampire would easily finish her if they noticed her moving. But it looked like they were preoccupied so she took her chances and ran to the nearest block corner. However, she worried for the three's safety and decided to watch from the corner of the building. Not that it was any safer than where she had been considering the huge werewolf's back leg was right in front of her.

Ember Mist 02-08-2010 07:36 AM

With a low growl, Caprisa changed into her Wolf form, she grabbed his paw his her own and threw it off her. "Two can play at this game." She said launching herself at him. Her teeth bit into his neck, and she yanked at it, tearing a chunk of meat off. She spat it out and back out as she watched blood seap out of the wound. Her teeth were bared and she kept running her tongue along them, licking the blood off. "That the best you got?" She asked.

MintyRey 02-08-2010 07:49 AM

Vince was surprised at the strength of the she-werewolf after she threw off his paw. The four-story high beast roared with anger after she managed to tear off a sizable chunk out of his neck. It hurt more than the minuscule bullets she had fired but it still wasn't enough to bring him down. With a quick lunge he snapped at where the female had landed, hoping to bite her head off.

Ember Mist 02-08-2010 07:55 AM

Dodging gracefully the she-wolf attacked again, this time gripping onto the scruff of his neck digging into the flesh. She growled and ripped an ear off, she was a couple feet shorter then him in this form, but she could still jump high enough to get a good grip. She ripped and yanked at what ever skin she could get, dodging blow after blow, getting cut a few times by just the tip of his claws.

emiko_firecaster 02-08-2010 08:33 AM

"If you want to live i suggest you get back" My voice comes out at almost a whisper and yet it was oddly the easiest thing to hear here as i seem to materialize out of the shadows right behind the startled female. "this fight will not be an clean one" i murmer in the same tone as my icy gray eyes take in the fight in front of me. a black t-shirt is hanging loosly off my shoulders contrasting strangly with my short gray hair. and tight rugged, faded blue jeans. two twin scimitars hanging off my belt however broadcasted loudly that i wasnt someone to try to pick a fight with. taller the the female i could easily see over the battle my hand moving with the same blinding speed of the vampire, every now and then, only to catch stray chunks of gravel flying at my face.

Chryssta 02-09-2010 05:47 AM

The punch threw Johnny across the street, dangerously throwing the arm holding the plasma sword all around, slicing through pavement and a lightpost before he landed. Not wanting to encounter a hit like that again, he shifts wolf, feeling the shattered ribs in his chest rejoining and realigning as they healed during the shift. He hated forcing a healing like that, as it wore him out in the long run, and the injuries never fully healed through the shift. After he was done shifting, the ribs on his right side were still broken in several places, but at least they weren't completely shattered. It was true what he'd said, his fur glowed a radioactive green. In his hand, the sword still glowed and sparked, the plasma still flowing from the pack at the bottom of the hilt. This day will never end, will it...

On top of the three-story wolf, Derrick leaps back as it shoves it's head into the building, not wanting to be crushed by the rubble from the structure. While he was sure beheading would kill him, he wasn't sure if he could die from something so stupid as being flattened against a building. He sheaths the sword on his back, making a point to try and stay on the wolf even as it jumps around trying to kill it's target on the ground. Tired of the game, he leaps to the ground when he's able and runs for cover. He'd never had to deal with a wolf this large before. He'd never even known they could get this big.

Johnny had turned off the sword, figuring that with his normal night vision and the glowing fur, he'd have no problems seeing Derrick and the female in the gloomy night. He approached her from behind, grabbing her roughly and running for the hotel. He winced a few times, grunting in pain as he carried her at a run on his hind legs. His ribs were taking a massive beating tonight.

Along the way, Derrick joins them in the race to get back to the room before being seen by anyone, and they leap to the second story without bothering with the steps. Johnny takes the woman inside while Derrick wheels the bikes into the room to hide them. "Where'd you put Virsat?"

emiko_firecaster 02-09-2010 06:03 AM

((occ: grr i never relized how hard it is to talk in third person... looks at name.... darn and i have to type that out every timeT.T))

grinning Maiwynaera watches the two warriors run back into their room which she can see from her position against the wall; and, after taking their bikes into their room, shut the door quickly. "Run, run, little piggies, the big bad wolf is coming to get you" Maiwynaera thinks before then turning her head to look at her current master and his collegue. keeping her mouth shut as Maiwynaera had been taught for these past four years was quickly becoming tiring with these two, as she severally wanted to chide them for making rookie mistakes. The next instant Maiwynaera's face futher clouds as she doest remember how she know what such mistakes really are. Growling to herself in fustration is the only way Maiwynaera can express her growing aggrivation at not remembering who she was. Continues to stand there waiting for her masters to notice her and give her orders that she were to "obey"

Kry 02-09-2010 06:10 AM

Virsat was still sitting on the floor between the beds with his blanket pulled tightly around him and partly over his head, leaving enough space so that he could see. He was sitting up and very still, looking over the bed as the door opened and the three entered. Virsat blinked. Three? Those crimson eyes widened, a human...the same one from the barn earlier, judging by the scent.

Virsat was on his feet in moments, that blanket falling to the floor. His eyes were on Johnny and the woman..and...Johnny was glowing. Had the human done something to him? However, Virsats initial reaction was to leap at Johnny and inspect him for injuries..the only things that kept him from doing that was the human there, and Johnny's glowing-ness.

However...Human or no human. When Derrick entered the room and had gotten the bikes situated, Virsat had launched himself at the Vampire. "Derrik!!" Pouncing on him and running his hands along Derrick's chest. Checking his sternum, then ribs. After that those hands ran along each arm. Feeling for broken bones and what not...He moved his hands gently and lightly, barely touching but still touching enough feel if anything was broken or out of place. Then those hands were on his face, tracing his jawline and then running over the top of his head. "You're okay?" He glanced at Johnny. "...Johnny okay too?"

Virsat froze. He was only little ways away from that human. "D-Derrick....Johnny brought in a human." He shuddered.

][You don't have to type it every time and you could just shorten it to Mai. Like a nickname or something. But..who are her masters supposed to be? I'm all confuddled now.][
