((sorry i thought i posted that in my bio its soppose to be(think minty called him ty) the vampire guy. oh and thanks sorry like i said not used to it))
|
"Wah?! Hey!" Kyla barely had time to complain as she was carried off towards the hotel. First a strange woman had appeared behind her and advised her to get back, now she was being lugged across the battle zone from a potentially safe spot by a glowing wolf-man. She was brought into one of the hotel rooms where a long haired youth jumped away from them. He appeared afraid of her and not only that, he was just as pale looking as the spiky haired man who had first jumped before the Rouges to help her. She watched as the fearful young man ran to the one he called Derrick and inspected him for something.
With one swift blow, Vince swept the female werewolf out of his way before turning his attention to the people running into the imaginary safety of the hotel. "Do you really think hiding in that pathetic little building will save you?" he roared before opening his mouth wide to bite out a chunk of it. "Hey idiot, stop right there!" Ty yelled, interrupting the great beast's attempt at further destruction. "This place is still the boss' property. You already wrecked that building, do you think we can afford to pay for this one too?!" He pointed to the huge crater in the side of the building the werewolf had rammed into. Vince growled at Ty before relenting. He backed his head away though he could already see his prey squirming around with their bikes in one of the rooms. "What do you want me to do then? Just let them be?!" Ty didn't answer him but instead turned to the building at the block corner behind him. "Maiwynaera!" he yelled to his pet. "Get in there and flush 'em out. Work for your food for once!" |
((perfect!!))
Mai walks foward from around the building her face a smooth mask of indefference as she slowly rolls her shoulders loosening them up for the battle. Knowing that the battle was going to be intense she unsheathes her twin swords from the holsters theyre hanging in. Unlike Ty however Mai didnt care about the "Boss's" property and was quite willing to cause a bit damage if thats what it took. Popping her neck Mai shivers as the cool metal settles against her skin so close to her skin that she could not get her own sabers under it to cut it, something Ty had planned when he bought it for her. Fully stretched it was a simple leap to leap up to the second floor and land without sound outside the twos door. Pausing for a half a sec Mai's breath freezes in her lungs as she determines how many people are actually in the room, and where the two are that she needs, she almost snorts at Ty's usage, flush out. From the corner where she had been resting, to the balcany outside their door; not fifteen secs had passed before she straitens, readies herself fully, and letting loose with a strong kick, knocking the door in. |
((@Emiko - If you could hold off on replying until Kry and Minty can go, I'll bet you'd have more to work with. Plus I'd like to see Virsat's reaction before considering battle plans with an injured wolf))
Johnny chuckles from his wolven throat as he drops the human on one of the beds. Slowly, trying not to aggravate his broken ribcage, he shifts back to human. "Yes Virsat, it's a human. It won't hurt you. It's clearly not that bright, but it wouldn't be stupid enough to attack you with Derrick and I protecting you." Derrick stills Virsat's probing hands. "I'm just dirty, Virsat, not broken." He turns his attention to Johnny, noting his sluggish movements and then looks the wolf over with his eyes, trying to figure out what's wrong. "What happened to you?" "That leech packs a mean punch, man. My ribs are all broken on the right side, and shifting only heals minor injuries." Johnny slowly moves to his bike and lifts the seat, pulling out some cloth bandages. It seemed like he was used to breaking bones, given how many bandages he had. He didn't want to take off his shirt, knowing how much it would hurt, but he couldn't wrap his ribs with the shirt on. "Pardon my screams of agony, I have to wrap my ribs." "Stop, wolf-boy, I'll do that. You got hurt trying to save my tail after all." Derrick moves to stand near Johnny, preparing to lift the wolf's shirt. By moving, he'd left Virsat near the human female, forgetting that Virsat feared humans. Time seemed to halt as the door suddenly blew into the room, allowing access to the enemy before they'd even had a chance to set Johnny's broken ribs. Derrick did what he usually did when fighting, he drew his sword and faced the new intruder into their lives that night. "Now what?" |
Virsat was glad that Derrik was unharmed, he wriggled a bit, wrinkling that nose in disapproval when Derrick had stopped his hands from their searching for broken bones. His eyes were on Johnny as it was made known that the werewolf was infact injured. Then Derrick had moved away from him, going to Johnny, to help him.
Virsat would have moved as well. Wanting to help, but he froze. His eyes on the human. Derrick had just left him there..so close to that ..creature. Granted, the other Vampire was not too far away from him, Virsat shuddered. That nose wrinkled in distaste as well as disdain. Another shiver ran through his body and with one last look at the human...Virsat dashed across the room, maneuvering himself behind Johnny, his hands resting lightly on Johnny's hips. Though behind Johnny and touching him, he wouldn't inhibit Derrick in tending to the wolf's injury. Just as he was peeking around Johnny to watch that human warily and suspicously, the door had blown in. Those hands on Johnny's hips gripped a bit tighter. Virsat whimpered softly. |
"While I'm grateful that you saved me and all, I'm clearly not as dense as someone who'd hole themselves up in a small room thinking that that thing," Kyla pointed to the giant wolf's head outside the hotel window before continuing, "Wouldn't be able to just break in here." She watched as the panicky one with long hair ran towards the werewolf. The green eyed woman gave him a puzzled look as he watched her from behind the human shield. Suddenly her pda went off again. As soon as she answered it, an intruder came crashing through the door. For a moment she was stunned, wondering if it was the vampire outside who had come in to finish them off. But it was someone else. It was the strange woman who was behind her before she was whisked away to the enclosed hotel.
|
Mai had crouched as soon as the door was open allowing for the humans seeming fascination with blowing people away. In a soft but adviously lethal voice she speaks to them "master (mai winces at the word) would like the three of you outside" phrasing of the statment made it seem like a request to all but the most sensitive ears but the tone revealed it to be what it really was, a demand and a hidden threat. As she spoke noticed a fourth unimportant (to her) person behind the were and vampire but a quick and minute inspection had her deduce that he was not an immediate threat. "Now," Mai spoke again using the same tone and inflection "Are we going to do this the easy way? or the hard way?" Mai was hoping that they would choose the hard way so that she could impliment a plan that had been forming as she had watched the wolf fight.
((sorry i get kind carried away when I rp in a good rp)) |
Johnny's barely suppressed smile was stifled when he felt Virsat's hands on his hips. Don't let him know that feels weird, he'll close in on himself again. He couldn't help but cringe a bit when Virsat's hands tighted, totally not used to having another male behind him in such a manner. When the door burst in and the invading female (least he thought it might be a female) started talking, his first reaction was to get his sword and start slashing, but his ribs made any thoughts like that vanish when they ground together painfully. He couldn't help but gasp in pain and wrap his arms around his internal injuries. Who knew what the broken ribs were doing to his organs they were supposed to shield.
Derrick sheaths his own sword, snagging Johnny's plasma blade before the wolf could claim it. "I want this to be fast, hope you don't mind, wolf." Johnny shakes his head, pointing to the hidden switch that released the plasma from the energy pack at the base of the hilt. There was also a hidden slider bar that was 'locked' into place. He flips it to the next highest notch and 'turns on' the sword. The green blade arcs out with more intensity than before, instantly searing Derrick's arm and face. "No! Don't change the intensity! Put it back, or there won't be anything left of you to fight her with!" He'd reached out to Derrick, his hand burning when he reached too close, and his ribs grinding again. Johnny yanks his arm back as Derrick smartly puts the slider bar back at the other notch, locking it into place again. "The sword's creator had an obsession with making things adjustable. The packs he'd designed it for were half as strong as the ones I use in it. Hence why the bar stays there. If you're going to use that blade, then don't change the intensity unless you don't like your flesh." Derrick had nearly dropped the sword when the blade's flashback seared his flesh so brutally. "Definitely a doubled edged sword, isn't it?" He faces the intruder once more, glad she'd waited for the mini drama to pass. "I choose the hard and bloody way, was that an option? Oh, and I've shed my blood just now, would you mind shedding yours?" He was out the door and behind her in a move that only a vampire could pull off, the sword at her throat, no doubt burning her skin. "Ok, I'm outside, now what?" He was disappointed to know that his bleeding arm and face had slowed him down a bit, no doubt the female fighter had seen him move. ((If anything I typed contradicts anything I've typed previously, I apologize now. Sorry for the break from sanity while Derrick and Johnny torch the room and several people in it with Johnny's overly powerful sword, but Derrick isn't the brightest in the world... He saw a button and he just had to push it)) |
For a few moments, Virsat didn't do anything, didn't blink or move. Those hands just rested on Johnny's hips as he watched Derrick. A small whimper escaped his throat when Derrick turned that sword on and burned himself without. He frowned deeply, fidgeting just a bit. Then Derrick was out the door and behind the female.
Virsat wasn't sure what to do..but a decision had to be made. Johnny was still injured. His ribs apparently, Virsat didn't move from behind Johnny, but he did reach up to gently pry Johnny's arms down and away from the ribs. "Don't...don't hold them like that. You could push them into your lungs.." His brow furrowed. Johnny had also burned his hand when he had reached for Derrick. Frowning slightly Virsat moved from behind Johnny. Glancing warily at the human before taking Johnny's burned hand and bringing it to his lips. With his fangs, Virsat pierced his tongue and he let those little droplets of his blood drip onto Johnny's burned hand. Just in a few places on the burn. He had held to that hand tightly. Knowing it would hurt, at least for a few seconds and he didn't want Johnny jerking away. His vampiric blood was regenerative, it was deep crimson but held a small shine of black to it. Once it had touched the injured flesh though, it began to heal it, a bit slowly though. Vampire blood could be good for some things. Virsat licked his lips and let go of Johnny's hand. His own hands reaching out towards Johnny's ribs, slowly. "I can't set them..not properly..but..here.." He placed his hands on Johnny's sides and pressed a bit, not on the ribs but kindof around them, not quite moving them around, but somehow managing to prevent them from grinding against each other of piercing his organs. He glanced over his shoulder..Worried about Derrick. |
Johnny tries not to flinch when Virsat licks his hand, but he'd never before allowed a vampire close to him with his teeth out, let alone near his flesh, and this was a very disconcerting moment for the werewolf. He couldn't help himself, he kept waiting for Virsat to bite him and drain him dry while he was mostly immobilized with his ribs the way they are. "Don't bite me..." He whispers this, more of a gasp, wanting so badly to yank his hand free.
Then Virsat was letting him go, and feeling his ribs, pressing on them. Somehow, the pain wasn't as bad as he'd expected it to be, but he gasped all the same. With the hand that Virsat had licked free again, and the little vampire so close, he didn't have much room to hold his ribs or let his arm drop, so he just drapes it over Virsat's shoulders, somewhat holding the vampire close, even though Virsat could wriggle free if he wanted. "That was a dangerous move just now, Virsat. What made you think my blood wouldn't hurt you?" He knew some vampires turned to ash when a werewolf bit them, but he'd never seen a vampire willingly take werewolf blood from a wound in order to heal them. "Thank you, my hand feels better. How'd you do that anyway?" |
'Ah! Stupid-!' was what Kyla thought after seeing Derrick mess with the plasma sword, aiming to turn it on. She had to break for the bathroom as fast as she could, the only place she could think of that whose walls might be thick enough to protect her from the radiation given off by such a stupid weapon. When she saw the hazardous flash subside, she peered out the bathroom door to see if the idiots hadn't fried themselves. The smell of burnt flesh was definitely in the air but she wasn't worried much about whose arm it was that got burnt. If all three of them weren't human, they would eventually heal. Already one was licking the wounds of the werewolf that had glowed like a bug. She decided to stay in the bathroom for the remainder of the ordeal and continue talking to whoever had called, remembering that she answered her phone. "No, no, sorry about that...it was just the stupid microwave...I was heating up an idiot potato and it blew up..."
Outside, the Rouges werewolf decided to return to his human form. Both Vince and Ty watched the second floor, eagerly awaiting Maiwynaera to bring back the torn up but still living bodies of the punks. She had never failed them before. |
Smiling Mai casually tosses over her shoulder, "Now you remove the sword from my neck, " before slipping a hand to the back of Derrick's wrist and in a move that seemed casual, slamming her head back before moving sideways and rotating to face Derrick again. Leaping into a graceful backflip Mai twists, and in an imitation of the giant cat she turns into, lands on her feet and hands. Frowning she reaches up to her throught hissing in anger and pain as she touches the raw burn. "Thanks now I'll have to pay for that injury" Mai's voice is filled with anger and almost enjoyment. Straitening and thinking to her self "hmn how to do this? This guy is good... and that sword is no joke eithor..." Raising my hands up to a ready position trying to get ready for Derrick's next attack. Mai reaches up to feel her collar surprised that she could still feel the heat from where the sword had come in contact with it.
((shes not going to take here sword out against the plasma sword, it would damage them too much)) |
Virsat didn't quite understand why Johnny had told him not bite him...or rather..he didn't understand why Johnny thought he would bite him. He stepped a bit closer to the wolf when that arm was placed over his shoulder. His hands pressed gently on Johnny's sides, continuing to keep those ribs from shifting and causing the wolf more pain.
He rested his head on Johnny's shoulder and inhaled deeply. Taking the wolf's scent in completely. "Why..would I bite you, and why would your blood hurt me?" He only wished there was a way he could fix Johnny's ribs. "...But..I used my blood to heal your damaged skin. Vampire blood can heal wounds, it only takes a few drops most of the time..so I only bit my tongue a little....I can't...I can't do it for your ribs though. They're beneath your skin and so the blood would have to already be coursing through your veins to fix that.." He had frowned slightly. "I can only help ease the pain.." He fidgeted slightly and whispered. "Will Derrick be okay?" |
Johnny shakes his head. "Thats not what I meant, Virsat. Some vampires are deathly allergic to werewolf blood. So allergic that had you been one of them, you would have burned into ash the moment you touched my hand like that." He half hugs him, shuddering at the thought that he could have unintentionally killed the timid vampire that had quickly become his friend. "Don't scare me like that, okay?"
The wolf looks to the door, a frown crossing his features. Under Virsat's fingers, his ribs slowly (compared to a vampire) ease back into alignment and heal that way. It would take until tomorrow night for them to be fully healed, but at least it was better than being fully human and waiting months. "I don't know. That flash from the sword was rough, but aside from that, the female-thing seems to be strong." ~X~ Derrick went with it when she moved out of the way, not really wanting to remove her head, but not completely opposed to it either. "What a lovely collar. So who's pet are you?" He was trying to rile her into attacking him, unsure of what kind of damage the plasma sword would do to the surrounding area outside of the hotel room. In experiment, he stabs a wall on the outside of the bathroom and drags the sword down, surprised to see a huge gaping and sparking opening in the wall. "Maybe you should run home to your master before I do that to your head." |
Virsat wrinkled his nose slightly. Honestly he hadn't known that some vampires could be allergic to werewolf blood, however..he didn't tell Johnny that. "...Right...I didn't know I had scared you....I'm sorry." He smiled slightly. "Now....no more talking..and only take small breaths....You could aggravate your ribs more..or make them slip back.." He very light increased the pressure of his hands. When bandages were wrapped around broken ribs, they were usually wrapped tightly. Very tightly to keep the bones from slipping out of place..and Virsat's hands were acting as makeshift bandages at the moment.
His mind kept wandering to Derrick though. He could hear them outside, but honestly he had to put most of his concentration on what he was doing to Johnny. If he pressed to hard he could shove those ribs into the wolf's lungs....and if his hands slipped there was a chance the ribs could fall back out of place. It was really a delicate operation. |
merely shrugging Mai wipes the look off her face replacing it with one concentrated on the battle. "His name is called Ty and even if I may wish that i could leave you to heal in peace, I cannot for master (again she winces at having to call him that publically) would pnish me and frankly id rather stay alive if its all the same to you" With this cold statement the resolve in her eyes hardens, flashing dangerously as in her mind Mai considers how to get this skilled person to slice off her collar. She decides to leave figuring out how to convince the vampire in front of her that shes no longer a threat when its off to later.
|
Kyla might have been just as surprised as Derrick was when the radioactive sword she was trying to avoid came slicing through the wall of the bathroom she was hiding in. She could already feel the heat of the thing even though she stayed as far away from it as she could. "I'll call you back ok?" she hurriedly finished before closing her pda. "Hey! Hey! I know it may look like there's nobody in here but there is! I ain't as tough as you guys, even though you may get that impression, so if you could please not nuke me?!" she yelled. Who knows how much second hand damage the thing has already caused her internal organs. Kyla made a mental note to see a doctor about it later on.
|
Johnny grunts at the added pressure, wanting his ribs to heal already and stop hurting him. When the sword sliced into the bathroom and the girl started yelling, he couldn't help but laugh, even though it hurt to do so. "Maybe shifting a couple of times would speed this up?" He really didn't know if it would or not. "Hey, relax in there. It's not that dangerous to humans. At least, I don't think so. No one usually lives after seeing that sword..." He couldn't stop the smirk as he hollered to the human holed up in the bathroom.
~X~ Derrick shakes his head, suddenly weary of the fight, of the sword burning his arm, of his blood running down his hand as it clenches the hilt, of the crazy female before him. He was suddenly feeling tired of it all. "If only you'd just give up." Jumping back a few paces, he settles his finger on the slider bar, and lowers it to see what happens. The blade grows brighter as it gets smaller, sharper looking, and more like that of a long dagger. "Cool." The point of his jumping back was in case the blade did something ugly, but now that it was smaller, he could get a running start and maybe remove the silly girl's head before she knew it was happening. Just when he was a step from the girl, he thumbs up the blade one notch, forcing it to glow brighter a bit while bringing the sword up in an arc, intending to take off the girl's face at the very least. ((Perhaps if she moves just right, the collar will go flying?)) |
Virsat was not pleased when Johnny started laughing and hollering at the human in the bathroom. "Shush!" He nearly hissed that word. Then more softly he said. "Don't do that..you'll hurt yourself worse...but..the shifting might work though, won't that make you really tired?" He was frowning a bit. "Besides..when Derrick is done..he'll come bandage you up properly.." Virsat had shifted a bit on his feet. Pressing his forehead lightly against Johnny's shoulder and hiding his face there. Still as nervous and worried for Derrick as he was, he still paid careful attention to the pressure he applied to Johnny's ribs.
|
"sh-shit!" Mai cussed loudly in surprise as the blade in the Darricks hand lengthens unexpectedly. pulling sharply to the right she grits her teath as the swords barely grazes her skin burning it before continueing to slice her collar. she had mannaged to jerk to the right just in time to keep it from slicing hrough her skin but she didnt escape unscathed. leaping to the side she flips crouching coming to a stop at the same time as her collar hitting the ground where she just stood. noticing her hair felt lighter on one sie she raises a cautious hand to feel it before cussing a second time" damn it! you cut my hair!" Mai was furious, for she was now certain she would have a patch of fur missing when she turned to her other form. Mai, throughout all of this however remained in a defensive crouch just incase Derrick attacked again. she was also now more wary of the blade having seen how it can change. Breifly she wonders where she would get some blood that she would need to heal the wounds she had sustained before she forced her mind back to the situation at hand.
((grr its hard typing in the dark... still did better then i thought i would do....) |
"Says a werewolf that got burned by being close to it!!!" Kyla yelled back. "If it can do that to you, how much damage do you think it'll do to me?!!" She was now checking herself on the mirror for any dark spots, indicators of radiation poisoning. So far there wasn't any but she wouldn't shrug off going to the doctor's just for that. She could hear the battle going on in the room outside but at this moment she was more concerned about her well-being. As if the sword fight out there wasn't going to decide her fate. Still, fights like these were something she had grown up close to after she moved to the city.
"Maiwynaera!!!" A loud yell came from the street. Ty was getting impatient. How long does it take to bring out two brats? "What's taking you so long?!!!" Vince decided not to wait any longer and started walking up to the hotel stairs. "Want things done right, gotta do it yourself..." he muttered. |
((dang i gotta wait>.<))
|
Johnny resists the urge to shrug, thinking the vampire holding his ribs would scold him again, but he couldn't resist the grin that spread across his face. Apparently driving the timid vampire up the wall made him less timid. Ignoring the pain it would cause him, he chuckles in response to Virsat shushing him, just to see what the vampire would say or do.
"I was holding it, you silly human. You weren't holding the sword, you were just sitting too close to it." Yes, he was hollering back into the bathroom again, but in a lower voice than before. To Virsat, he replies, "Can't hurt. Might help. Just don't freak out, okay?" Johnny doesn't give Virsat a chance to reply, shifting to wolf in the hopes that it will force a heal of his ribs. Once wolf, he starts the shift back again, wanting to be able to talk to Virsat. "And yes, it does wear a body out." He'd started to breathe a bit harder, but only momentarily. Despite his words, the shifts were enough that he considered just crashing where he stood, but he had to try again. As it was, his ribs had healed a bit more quickly than if he'd just let them heal with his natural werewolf metabolism. "I'm so going to need a full-sized buck after this. Think Derrick would bring me one?" ~X~ "If you'd moved your head another way, I'd have removed it and you wouldn't have to worry about your hair at all." He didn't make a move to attack, but Derrick did return the blade to it's previous length. He really wanted the fight to be done with. "I can't convince you to leave us alone, can I?" |
Virsat's brow furrowed and he scowled a bit, looking up at Johnny's face. He would've said something, perhaps scolded the werewolf, but he didn't. He merely frowned when Johnny spoke to the human again and then began to shift. Virsat didn't move, well..he didn't move much when Johnny shifted. Holding those ribs in their proper place, he was mostly worried that the shifting could do more harm than good. Then Johnny had changed back and Virsat tested the bone beneath his fingers lightly, gently touching and poking in places.
He stepped back, a frown on his lips as he lowered his hands. "He might...But you like human food." He wrinkled his nose a bit. "...I could cook for you." He looked away for a moment and then shrugged, looking back to Johnny. "At least your ribs aren't indanger of slipping and impaling your other organs. Just..be careful a bit." He turned, to look at the door. "..He'll be just fine, right?" Both hands were clasped together and held tightly at the center of his chest as he worried for Derrick. |
Johnny shakes his head minutely. "I prefer human food, but raw buck or dead vampire works just as well. Sometimes the inner wolf demands fresh meat, even though the meat from a vampire is hardly fresh. And shifting a lot tends to make a fresh buck look better than a five course meal." He stumbles over to the bed he'd spent the night on, nearly collapsing onto the mattress. The way he was facing, he could look out the door, but he didn't see anything. "I don't know, Virsat. Given that he's a vampire, I'd imagine the sword will have less affect on him than it does on me, but about his opponent, I don't know."
