~Backstory~
This is a modern/futuristic, post apocalyptic fantasy RP. Humans have been outnumbered by non-humans and have been forced into slavery. The area where humans are kept while they await becoming slaves is called district six. No matter what city you go to, each city has a district six. These places are often reffered to as "the sixes" in informal settings.

~A little more~
The main cities of the world are basically the same, but the nuclear apocalypse the humans created has made 90% of the earth an arid desert.

There are technologies such as cell phones and cars and such, but there can also be advanced/futuristic technology, as this is a futuristic RP.

-The sixes-
Every city has a "district six" This is the place where humans are held until they are bought by a wealthy demon as a slave. The living conditions are very poor, resembling a concentration camp more than anything. Crime and drug use are rampant and death is more common than it should be.

~Suggestions~
There is no set plot or antagonists so you are limited only by your imagination.
And please either use first or third person.

~Rules~
1. Follow the ToS, or the Mods will get irritable. (coughcoughMOREirratablecoughcough Just kidding ^_~ )
2. Everyone who wishes to roleplay here will be held to at least a minimum understanding of the English language. This means complete sentences, in addition to good spelling and grammar. If you aren’t confident in your spelling capabilities either copy/paste your post into a word document and use its spelling and grammar checker, or download the Google toolbar, it has a handy little spellcheck button.
Chatspeak will not be tolerated.
3. All kinds of ORIGINAL characters welcome. If you can make a semi-plausible reason for your character to be here, be it trans-dimensional door or magical time travelling donkey, you will be accepted.
~No you cannot be your favorite character from something else and insert them into this RP. That will not be accepted.
4. Mary sues/Gary Stus will not be tolerated. Perfect characters are BORING, so please insert some realistic flaws into your character. If you are unsure as to what a Mary sue is, then please peruse this link I have provided for your reading pleasure;

5. God modding/auto hitting is not allowed.
God modding: Taking control of another players character without consent (sometimes called character jacking), or making it so that your character never gets hit or is right in every situation.
Auto hitting: Just how it sounds, auto hitting is the act of releasing an attack and not allowing the other person to respond to it. If you attempt to attack another character you must stop as the attack is being made and allow the person to respond how they will.
6. Hidden power suddenly emerging can add spice to any character, but if your character suddenly busts out with bullet dodging ninja skills for absolutely no reason, I will be displeased. Please have plausible and well thought out reasons for any new power your character obtains.
7. Please keep it to about a PG 17 level. Yes there will be violence, yes there will be blood, but no in depth details of your character gorging on viscera. There are children roaming around.
8. Romance is allowed, and promiscuity is acceptable if not encouraged, though when you get to the point where it seems like you're cybering best to move it to PMs or let your imagination fill in the gaps. Tasteful 'curtain' effects are appreciated.
~All gender/species pairings are allowed. Discrimination will be crushed swiftly and mercilessly.
9. Cussing is allowed, just don't overdo it.
10. I am the fantasmogasmical trans-dimensional fabulous god of this RP and what I say goes, but I will be fair ^^

((Alright you're accepted, one thing of note though, Every city has a "district six" and that is the district solely for humans, where they live before they are sold off as slaves. The living conditions there are very poor, and crime is part of daily life. But yes there would be rampant drug use. There is no such thing as human law anymore and as long as the drugs dont keep the humans from working, the demon governement doesnt care. I'll edit this into the main post.))

Azrael coughed as he walked into the dusty city. It was particularly windy that day and sand was getting whipped everywhere. With a sigh of disgust, he placed the ratty tan scarf back over his mouth. It was the best thing he could find in the last town, and he refused to wear it around his head, that made his hair completely unmanageable.
His dark grey eyes flicked from building to bland building, searching for a bar or a hotel.
"Ugh, I haven't eaten for almost a week... I wonder if there's anyone tasty around."
Azrael smiled devilishly, but it fell almost instantly. In a place like this the only kind of men you could find were burly field workers and miners. Filthy, reeking, bricks of men. Azrael sighed again.
"And here I am without enough money to even buy a decent human..."

Alice sat in her self-made shelter, organizing some things she had gathered. Today was a particularly good for Alice, as she had found herself a relatively clean blanket. She often thought about having a blanket. It was hard enough to fight off the shakes from her withdraws, without being freezing anyways. This blanket would allow Alice to be warm, & maybe even to hide if she needed to.
Other than the blanket, Alice had also found herself some old jewelry. Surely someone would want this silver and gold, assuming its real. She wasn’t able to tell its authenticity, as she had never owned real, or fake gold. A few years ago she had a silver bracelet, though she didn’t have it for long. Alice collects things, only hoping to sell them, or trade them for drugs.
“Now, where can I find him..” Alice said, peeking out of her small hut, seeing if her dealer was within sight. He wasn’t. This means she would have to walk about, searching for him. She wasn’t excited about this, as walking around alone could be dangerous.
Alice didn’t care, she needed her fix.

Kyuga ducked around the corner and snuck into the Sixies and looked over her shoulder, she cold almsost feel the handcufs around her wrists alread. Blue and red lights flashed after her as she ran from shadow to shadow, willing the cop car to leave. Finding a makeshift house she ran through the door and ducked under the window and held a finger up to her lips towards the girl standing at the door. As the lights and sirens faded into the night she let out a sigh and looked out the window, "Thank God. I thought they had me that time. Sure was a wicked paty though." Kayuga smiled as she stood up and fced the Human girl.

"Party?" That's where Alice needed to be, maybe that's where the drugs were. "Wait a minute, who are you?" Alice looked a the black hair girl that was standing in her shack. I have a guest, Alice thought, taking a look around, making sure the place looked presentable. There isn't much way to dress up a shack though. "And what's the deal with you bring cops into the Sixes?" Alice didn't like cops, most humans didn't. There was too much for them to hide, there's nothing legal about being a human, it makes you lower than dirt.
Alice looked the girl up and down. Maybe this non-human was holding. Maybe she had something to share, in trade for saving her from the police. She seemed like a party girl, & so was Alice.

Azrael had moved out of the slums and, thankfully, the quality of the city was improving as he neared the center. Large, shiny, multilevel buildings were becoming common, and were far cleaner than their predecessors had been. But it wasn’t long before Azrael encountered an enormous wall. The second and first districts were located behind this wall at the very center of the city, with the other four districts fanning out like petals.
Azrael read some of the papers nailed to the wall and surmised that he had entered in the third district. The sixth district was directly beside this district, He could tell because it was the only outer district with its own wall.
He looked back and forth, checking for any law enforcement, and then leaped over the wall into the sixes.

The quality of life here was even worse than it had been in the outer edge of the city. The buildings were all very small, possibly only one room, and they were all exactly the same. They were also similar in that they were covered in grime, and very few had any intact widows. In the alleys between these houses, if you could call them that, were many small hand made shelters. A human girl and a demon girl appeared to be conversing outside of one of these handmade shelters a few houses down.
Azrael looked left and right, there were humans hiding everywhere. From the looks of it, the overpopulation must be rampant. Azrael grinned; well I might be able to help with that.
Leaning his back against the outer wall, Azrael removed the ratty tan scarf, and threw it to the ground with a look of disgust. From the pocket of his jeans, he produced a slim black cell phone. It had taken nearly a hundred years, but the top demon scientists had salvaged and advanced the human technologies beyond even what they had been before.
They had also been able to cleanse the leftover radiation from the Armageddon, but there wasn’t much they could do about the resultantly infertile earth. Azrael keyed a number into the small keyboard on the phone and brought it to his ear. After a few seconds of ringing someone picked up.
"HI you've reached Ellestaire hotels, catering to first and second district, how can I direct your call?"
"Yes, I'd like to reserve a hotel room."
Azrael listened as the girl rattled off the list of open rooms and their prices.
"Just reserve me the best you have, I'll show you Belial's seal when I get there."
The line went suddenly silent in shock, and Azrael shut the phone with a satisfied snap. He loved pulling that card.
About fifty years ago, Azrael had become friends with a fellow demon mercenary named Belial. They had traveled together for some time before being forced to part ways. Many years after that parting, Azrael found out that Belial had risen quickly and effortlessly to the top of the food chain, seating himself as the undisputed demon king of the region. Azrael himself had noted the boy's immense power.
"But who would have thought that little black haired runt would rise so quickly."
When they had finally reconnected, Belial repaid Azrael's friendship with an ornate silver seal. Just flashing the seal could make paying for shelter irrelevant, because Beliel personally owned all of the major hottel chains in every city under his rule. The seal couldnt help him much with obtaining his food of choice, and it had very little sway in legal situations, but nevertheless Azrael was endlessly grateful for it. That little seal allowed him the most comfortable furnishings, something absolutely necessary for his... unusual eating habits.


((Belial is an NPC character from this Rp's Gaia ister: "Shape Your Destiny". He is a non player character because his powers are so immense they are godlike, and playing the top dog is never very fun ^^ but you are welcome to weave him into your backstoy if you are a demon. He has dipped in and out of the lives of nearly all the demons under his rule. He is also the owner of most of the large companies in the area.))

Kayuga nodded yeah, "Yeah it was awsome, huge suppliers in one area. And I mean heaps!" She smiled at the big bag of Marujana hidden in her bag. "Yeah sorry about the cops. We gotally got busted by my da... Umm, by some huge politician guy coming and snagging a few Humans. Sad thing to they were hot." She looked around her again, "Yeah um thanks for letting me hide here. How about you come with me and we can find another party? I'm sure we can find some guys who want to party." Her eyes glinted under her black fringe and she smiled devishly.

Alice looked the demon girl up and down. “Think I could score some dope? I’m hurtin’” Alice didn’t have money on her, but she did have that jewelry. But maybe this party would be big enough she didn’t need money. Alice had been to many parties before, but they weren’t really her thing.
Alice rifled through a pile in the corner of her hut, looking for anything she might need to bring. “Yeah, I guess I don’t really need anything, do I?” She asked herself. Alice stood up and faced the demon girl. “I’m Alice, by the way.” Smiling, Alice looked out her window, ready to head into the night. It was party time.

Kayuga laughed, "Alright we are off!" she clapped her hands and raised her right arm above her head, "Oh! I'm Kayuga by the way." She looked back outside and caught sight of a Human boy walking down the street with a six pack of Pulse cans stashed under his arm. She watched his eyes shift right and left, "ha, silly Human boy. It's not like anyone's gonna tell on you here." She said under her breath and she grabbed Alice's hand and started to pull her out of the shack.

Kayuga pulled Alice from her shelter, & into the night. Alice hadn't really had a friend before, one that took her to parties even. She wondered how, out of everyone on she's met, she would befriend a demon girl.
While being towed along, Alice looked down the street, checking if her dealer was around. Unfortuntly he wasn't in sight. A few meters away stood a purple haired demon. Alice wondered if this was one of Kayuga's friends. He looks hungry, she thought. Maybe he would follow us to the party.

Azrael stuffed his phone back in his jeans and pushed himself off the wall. As he walked down the street he passed the two girls who were talking and caught sight of a relatively cute boy with a six pack of something called pulse. Azrael grinned to himself and tried to get a look at the boy's physique beneath his loose shirt.
Wonder if he's packing another 'six pack' under there.
Nonetheless this was a fortuitous sign. If someone was carrying refreshment, that meant that there might be a party, the perfect hunting ground.
Azrael casually walked up beside the boy and smiled.
"Going to a party?"
The boy nodded cautiously, so Azrael smiled again.
"Mind if I join you?"
Azrael's outward appearance did not look remotely demonic. This was a trait common in incubi, as they must look human to seduce humans. The demon girl behind them may be able to sense him, but the tasty morsel beside him would have no idea until it was too late.

Kayuga spotted the Demon from afar and went tense, "What is he doing here?" she said under her breath as she walked down the street pulling Alice along after her. She looked left and right and continued to walk down the street while wispering to Alice, "Don't worry, if he's hungry I'll protect you. He can't be that hard to deal with." She watched him talk to the boy with the drinks and laughed, "Of course he might be fulll after him."

Alice hoped the other demon would be full after that boy. She didn't feel like being a snack for some random demon. Thought he didn't really look like a demon. He wasn't that bad looking though.
Both girls walked along, hearing the sound of music around the near corner. As they came to the corner they seen a crowd of humans hanging out, & some where dancing. "Well this looks like a party to me," Alice said, turned towards her new friend kayuga. Luckily among the human faces, Alice seen her dealer, "I'll be right back.." She trailed off towards a scraggy looking male sitting on an overturned trash can. The exchange was quick and undetectable, though it didn't really matter in the sixes.
After getting what she needed, Alice returned to Kayuga's arm, showing her what she scored. "Ready to party?" She smiled, knowing she was about to get higher than ever.
