"N..no. I..I thought she s..sent you. S..she's been g...one for a long time." She said clearly struggling for words. She knocked on the door hoping someone would answer.

Juliet heard people talking and peeked out the window her fair skin clolr almost white through the glass she could have been mistaken for a ghost she looked out the window and to the side she could see Vyan talking to what seemed to be a human "oh wow" she had never seen another human besides Nevessa around the house before she blinked and pushed the curtian back a little farther trying not to be seen.

Al shook his head at the doll. "No one in the neighborhood knows the old lady much and we didn't realize her house was even empty," he paused, and after a quick thought, continued on eagerly ",are there others besides you, who still live in there?"

"Y..Yeah. I..I forget how many." She said kicking the door when no one answered.

Juliet came over to the door "yes" she called in a quite tone "what is it" she didn't really know if both the doll and the human were coming inside or not because she was a bit unsure if he was trustworthy or not.

Kuri went to the front porch where she stared at the boy. Though her glass eyes made it more of a glare as she stud there. She held out her hand as a red aura appeared around it. "Vyan we where coming to rescue. Though it seems we don't need to." Kuri walked up to Al as she walked about him the aura still around her hand. She stopped and stared into his eyes then closed her eyes as she closed her her hand. The red aura around it disappeared as she shook her head. "Old woman....it looks like there is a new master. I hope she chose well."

Juliet stood in the now open doorway "whats going on her exactly" her tone curious and unsure she heard Kuri talking about a 'new master' did that mean Nevessa really did abandon them like she thought she looked over the boy again.

Kuri shifted her eyes to Juliet. "Say hello to Navessa's replacement. This is our new master. Only Navessa every came to this house she was the only one who knew how to. It seems our new master is here. Come we better tell the others." She looked back to Al then turned and walked through the door. "We better fix him something to eat."

Juliet sighed as her thoughts were proven true Nevessa was never coming back "okay I guess we better do that then you can can tell the others while I cook something up" she reentered the house and went over to the kitchen "what would you like" she called out towards the boy who she seemed to now belong to.

"I..I'm home...whe...where's kuri?" Vyan asked stepping inside.

Kuri turned and looked at Vyan. "I am here Vyan. " She looked at her and gave her a slight smile.

Layla looked at their ''new master''. So Navessa really wasn't coming back. How did she find a replacement though, does she not enjoy us anymore? Layla felt hurt to think of the possibility of that thought being true. She looked at Vyan when she heard her speak, it had been forever since she'd heard her lovely voice. She was getting slightly excited and taking it all in. Layla hoped the boy would be as good to them as Navessa was. |
Meena slunk back into the house, small and quiet. Outside was not at all like she had imagined. It had been huge, and terrifying. She shook slightly as she remember the strange sensation of being able to see so far in every direction. It was not right!
She listened as the other spoke, not really paying attention. Navessa's... replacement? No! She wouldn't leave us, not forever! We don't need a replacement! So thinking, she strode up to the boy in the doorway, grass stained and quivering. "We don't need you! We don't need a replacement! Go away! Go away... " |
Layla saw Meena come in to the house. She looks like a nervous wreck. She looked attentively at the replacement. She was so absorbed in her thoughts that she almost jumped when she heard Meena's outburst. She looked at Meena and gave her a disapproving look. ''Meena, be nice to our guest. I know, it's strange right now, but we have to accept that he's our new master.'' She said gently. Poor Meena still thought that Navessa would come back, while Layla gave up all hope a very long time ago. |
"MEENA! He's our guest, be nice to him." The small doll said, her voice now had it's crystal like quality back, but still quivered with each word as if they might shatter. She looked angry at Meena, an expression rarely on her face, but she couldn't believe that she would be so mean to someone who Nevessa had sent.

"Why? Why should I be nice?! He's not our master!" She took a deep breath and turned away, walking a few paces to the foot of the stairs, and sat down, trying not to cry. Why was everyone just accepting this boy? Didn't they love Navessa as much as she did?
But they were her sisters... "Sorry..." she muttered. She wasn't going to be nice, but she didn't have to be mean. |
"Navessa must have sent him here to take her place for a reason, we need to accept that." Vyan said, she had always been one to talk sense.

Juliet stood quite in the kitchen as she heard Meeenas outburst and the anger that came with it she herself didnt believe that Nevessa would just leave so she would give this boy a few days to see if he would be a good enough master to them. If he treated each and every doll with care trust and love then Juliet had no real problem with him but if they were treated like dolls or even one of her sisters or herself were left uncared for she would have a problem.

Kuri stared at Vyan and Meena. "Meena that is enough. We can all talk later about this subject. Lets get him some food and try to short things out. Nothing will be solved if we stand here the whole day shouting at one another. Like it or not he is our new master. Now Vyan has found her voice again you should be happy for that. I know the poor boy is having a hard time. It isn't every day you find a house full of living dolls."

Meena looked up at Kuri. "Kay..." She ducked her head, then glanced at Vyan. "It- it is really great that you're talking again, Vy." A small smile spread across her face. "We missed you, ya know."

"T..Thank you. I..I just opened my mouth and my voice came out." She said smiling. She walked over and hugged Meena.

Meena grinned properly as Vyan hugged her. she squeezed back, lightly. "Sorry for not saying anything right away... I was kinda scared, from outside... then I guess I was pretty angry."

"I was scared about being outside to, but I heard her voice, she was calling me. And she told me to lay down and let that boy pick me up." Vyan said excitedly.

"So... so this boy really was sent by Navessa? I suppose I shouldn't so mean and shouty then, huh?" Meena asked, smiling at how much better Vyan's speech was getting. It was still so strange to hear her voice.

"Yes, you should handle your emotions better." Vyan said with a smile.
