The blonde raised her eyebrows at the burly man then nodded to the doctor. Quietly she led him to their room and pushed the door open gently. His footsteps behind her made her nervous. Gesturing to the bed she nodded. "If you could set him on the bed it would be much obliged." Kalika thanked him softly with a smile.

The brawny man walked over and laid him on the bed as asked to do and then he nodded to the woman and left. Aris was sleeping deeply at this point completely unaware of his surroundings. He chest rose and fell unevenly as his breath was staggered just a bit although it was nothing to strike fear into anyone. Looking as though he was sleeping soundly his dreams were not so carefree... He found himself again in that house with the same people as the last time. The family always looked so happy and cheerful and just as it had done the last time, in a blink of an eye, the house was on fire. The family was trapped in a corner all the same unable to be rescued because his body wouldn't react as he told it to. Trying his hardest to move he never could... all he could do was watch the house burn until the roof collapsed on the family...

Closing the door she moved the lock til it clicked. Kalika went over and sat beside Aris as he slept. She gently stroked his face as she sat beside him. Leaning down she gently laid kisses on his forehead, his lips, and his chest. She was trying to keep him comfortable as she let him rest.

After enduring that dream multiple times Aris finally opened his eyes to the glow of a new morning sun. He had been asleep for the rest of that day and night. His head throbbed a bit when he tried to get up so he simply laid back down. It pissed him off that he had sustained a head injury as he could tell by the bandages around his head. Placing his hand against his face he was still quite warm which meant he didn't have a fever so that was good. He still felt tired but his father had always told him that when you are sick it's best to rest for a day then get up and move around since it will increase your energy levels. Then hearing a rumbling noise in his stomach Aris realized he hadn't eaten in a day but felt too tired to get up.

The blonde had spent majority of the night trying to not to sleep. She had watched him threw the night as she had faded in and our of sleep. The young woman had tried to best to keep rubbing Ariston's head threw the night. She tried to keep him calm and keep watch over him as he slept. Early that morning she had woken up and decided to take a bath. To her surprise she had fallen asleep while sitting in the tub. When she woke she heard her darling stir. Kalika peeked from the bathroom door still naked. "Oh, good morning Ariston." She smiled happily at him. She hid her body behind the door as she looked at him. The blonde really didn't want him getting over excited after being bashed in the head. |
Turning his head slowly with a drowsy look on his face Aris blinked a few times almost not able to put a name with a face then replied, "Good morning Kal." He didn't bother to sit up since his head was still throbbing a bit but he figured this was a small price to pay in comparison with his life and the sum of the reward they would get when they reached the island port.

Kalika giggled as she looked at him threw the door. "How are you feeling lovely?" She could tell her was still a little loopy from hitting his. The blonde continued to hide behind the door as she softly chewed on her lip. "Uhm, would you mind closing your eyes for a bit?" She asked him quietly a soft pink blush coloring her cheeks.

"Like poo," he replied with a soft grin. It took a minute for her request to register then he said, "Sure," and he pulled the blanket over his face and rolled his head over so that he could look at the top of the canopy bed when he took the covers off. It was obvious that he was not all up there at the moment but for the most part he could remember most of everything with a bit of time. Then from under the comforter he called out, "Kal... I'm glad you're alright, because this hurts." He had a smile on his face of course but he was not lying when he said that. His head was extremely uncomfortable and it was difficult to think normally.

The blonde let out a soft sigh as he hid behind the covers. Hurrying out of the bathroom she hurried up and pulled her clothes on. Nearly falling she went over to the bed. Softly she sat on the edge of the bed. "Well darling, there is no need to worry about me. I'm alright now." She answered softly as she patted his shoulder threw the sheets. Her body still ached, but no where near the degree his was."So just take it easy. You'll be better by the time we get there I bet."

"I hope so," he replied as he took the blanket from over his face. He laid there staring at the top of the bed for a moment wondering if that would be the case. If not he would have to postpone his little plan for later. It was a disappointing thought but it was a lustful plan so there would be plenty of other opportunites to put it into action, especially since the two of them couldn't seem to keep thier hands to themselves...

"I think so." She grinned at the man, "Take it easy and you will be better in no time." Gently reaching over she traced his cheek bones down to his chin and giggled softly. Aris was definitely out of it and she wanted to help him, but really there was nothing she could do. "Just rest dear." Lightly she touched his cheek and kissed his forehead as she sat beside him.

Aris flashed his teeth gently at her and then said, "I would love to take it easy and all but... I'm kind of hungry, would it be a bother to ask for some food?" He had a cheeful voice although for some reason he felt a deep sadness within himself that he didn't want to reveal to Kalika. Maybe it was because he was in so much pain or maybe it was something else that was bothering him. For some reason he felt this pressure build up in his chest and he felt as if his eyes were beginning to swell but he was not concerned with that at the moment food was more important.

{it's alright, and actually the one time i had a concussion i cried like the whole time... it was weird. haha. that's what that reminded me of.}
The blonde was confused by the tears swelling in his eyes. She nodded and smiled at him. "I'll be back in a moment." Before leaving the room she lightly kissed him on the head. Standing up from the bed she lightly chewed on her lip as she wondered what was wrong with him. Walking quietly down the hall she headed for the galley. When she entered the galley she asked if she could have a tray of food for Ariston. After waiting for several minutes they handed her a covered tray. She curtsied a thank you then left the room. Returning to her love she sat down on the same side and presented him the tray. |
(never been injured like that other than a few sprained ankles and maybe a fractured wrist but I didn't go to the doctor to check lol)
Aris sat there waiting patiently and as he waited the swelling of tears slowed and went away. He didn't understand why they had occurred but he couldn't control them either. So he didn't dwell on it assuming it was because of the concussion and let it go. He thought about how much longer they had until they reached the shore but he couldn't remember anymore so he stopped trying so that his head wouldn't start hurting or anything. It throbbed lightly but he didn't have a headache just yet so he tried his best to avoid catching one on top of his occasional throbs. |
{My parents are very against hospitals so I've broken my ribs, and have around 4 concussions and like 7 minor ones. And they just make sure I don't get too bad. =].}
Taking the lid off of the tray she smiled at the food the ship crew had give her. There was a steak, potatoes, eggs, an assortment of veggies and water. Smiling at Ariston she cut up the meat to make it easier for him. "Would you like me to feed you? Or do you want to?... I just want to help." She said quietly looking at him. Kalika blushed as she looked at him feeling like she should have done more to protect him in the fight. |

Aris smiled at her knowing she was feeling a little down about the situation then he said, "Don't beat yourself up over my condition, this kind of thing happens to the best of us. I don't want to see you frown so just keep a smile on your face for me alright?" He had reached out to caress her cheek as he spoke and his voice was more caring now than it had ever been before. He gave her a nice gentle smile when he finished then said, "You can feed me if you'd like..." he knew he wasn't feeling well but this was all just for fun. He could have very easily fed himself but he figured he would take her up on her offer since she asked. |
{yeah, they only took my bro to the hospital for his one injury and when he broke his wrist. but they were pretty neccessary since things were out of place ><}
Kalika smiled when he touched her cheek and nuzzled softly against his hand. "Okay, I won't frown.." She giggled softly. Moving closer to him on the bed she grinned as she speared a piece of the steak to feed him. "It would be my pleasure." Softly leaning towards him she offered him the forkful. |

Aris was happy that she understood and agreed to do as he requested. Then he opened his mouth and took the food off of the fork making it sound as if it was the best food he had ever had before and making faces to go along with it. He did it all of course for Kalika's sake, he just wanted to see her smile. |
The blonde couldn't help, but laugh at the faces he was making. She knew he was pretty much making it up, but it was still funny. Kalika continued to feed him until the plate was just about empty. It was cute the way he tried to hard to make her smile. Setting the plate and the cover to the side she gently kissed his cheek. "How are you feeling now?"

"Exhasted and full now," he said with a big smile that lead to a light laughter afterwards. "It's hard to eat make faces and sounds all at the same time, I think I'll keep that in mind from now on." He laughed a bit more as he stopped. It was fun to goof off a little bit every now and again and he was happy that she had taken to it well. He did hope she wasn't faking for his sake but if she had, then so be it.

The blonde laughed with him as he talked about making so much noise. "Well, it was very funny. So thank you. I needed a little bit of silliness." She grinned at him. Lightly she ran a hand threw his dark hair as she looked into his eyes. "I'm just glad your okay." Kalika lightly rubbed his cheek after she ran her hand threw his hair.

The young man just smiled as she thanked him, he was glad that she had enjoyed it all. Then nuzzling her hand with his eyes closed he replied, "I'll always be fine as long as you stay by my side..." Then as he opened his eyes he figured now was as good a time as any, "Kal... can I tell you something?" He was a little scared to tell her honestly but he wanted her to know this...

Kalika couldn't help, but smile as he nuzzled her hand. "I will always be with you Ariston." She answered softly. Looking into his eyes she tilted her head curious to know what he wanted to tell her. "Of course you can, darling." The blonde replied with a gently smile on her face. Scooting closer to him she kept her hand on his cheek. "You can tell me anything."

Aris blushed as she got closer to him as he was already a bit scared to tell her, "Well umm... give me a second." He took a deep breath then he looked Kalika in the eyes and said, "Kal, I love you." He didn't know how she would take it but he wanted to get it off his chest before something bad happened to either of them.

Her heart fluttered uncontrollably as she looked into his eyes. When she heard those three words she felt as though her heart was going to go into tachycardia. Kalika's lips fell open softly as she looked into his eyes. "I, I love you too Aris." She answered gently. Not wanting to hurt him she softly wrapped her arms around him and squeezed him.
