Kalika heard him mention rooms and she blushed vividly. "S-sure dear." She answered quietly as she squeezed his hand in her's. The blonde felt her heart fluttering in her chest as she thought about what would be going on in his head. His plans somewhat frightened her, but only because they were a surprise. Looking up at him she smiled softly her blonde hair falling over her shoulder. Lightly tugging him she giggled. "Cmon let's go."

Aris was a little confused as to why she turned bright red when he mentioned rooms and began to wonder where her mind had been all this time. He silently shrugged it off and followed her as she tugged him along. It didn't take to long before he had to take the lead once more being that he had already made reservations at the Ocean Side Tavern which was the tavern closest to the Temple of Poseidon. It was a fairly descent walk from where they were brought into port at but nothing too bad. As they walked Aris took in all the sights and attractions, they seemed to have come into town during the festival celebrating the founding of the town and Poseidon's blessing upon the port. There were quite a few couples around old and young. Even though the two would obviously stand out in a crowd of singles they somehow meshed right in with this different crew. Everyone seemed to be genuinely happy here and it had been a while since Ariston had seen a town on cloud nine like this but it was a welcoming sight. Maybe this meant that they could have a decent meal in peace without the worries of having to toy with the emotions of everyone around them just to feel at ease and for the kicks. Then looking down at Kalika her eyes seemed to fit right in with the gorgeous scenery as a matter of fact she seemed to look almost native of this area in some ways, the natural beauty of both her and the city seemed to stand out above almost anything else you would normally encounter. Her eyes and the ocean seemed to share that crystal like shade of blue that had a majestic and almost hypnotic effect on you when you stared at them, they were both amazing.

Kalika could tell she was acting overly strange. Shaking all the thoughts she had from her mind she reminded herself to just relax. After letting out a soft sigh the blush faded and she felt much better. Holding his hand she took in all the sights. Her face seemed to glow as she took in all the fun, and beauty of the little island town. It felt as though her and Ariston blended in perfectly between all of the couples. No one leered at them as they passed or whistled. It was a calming feeling inside Kalika. She really wanted to just enjoy her time with Aris not tease others of that they couldn't have. That was fun at first, but now she just wanted to relax. Looking up at Ariston she softly rested her head on his shoulder as they walked. It was such a lovely town. She would want to stay here forever, but she was aware they couldn't do that. Kalika knew that since it was festival this town might not be like this all the time, but she would pretend that it was always like this to keep her fantasy alive.

As they came up on the tavern they were staying in, the outside of it looked almost like the temple itself with it having pillars and twin statues on the outside. He stopped right before they walked in being as he had never been to this side of town before because he didn't usually spend this much money for a room to stay in but he would for Kalika. This part of town was even more lavish than the rest of it and the architecture was splendid. It was actually quite surprising how much money he had saved up and it was beginning to show. He peered at the entrance of the building somewhat in awe of in grandeur but after a few seconds looked to Kalika and asked, "You ready to go in?"

Kalika looked around at the lavish architecture. It was breath taking as he lead her to what looked like an overly expensive part of down. She leered at him realizing he had spent even more of his money on her. "You needn't spend so much money on me... I'm happy anywhere as long as I am with you." She commented softly. The blonde was aware he would probably shoot her down and say that she was worth it or something. Looking up at him when they stood outside of their temporary housing. "Of course, dear." Her breath was taken away by the beauty, but still he needn't do so much. Being with him was all she really needed. Reaching forward she pulled open the intricately decorated door way and slipped away from Ariston's grasp. "Soooo pretty." She gasped as she looked at the entrance. The high ceiling had a gold candelabra handing from it and beautiful paintings adorned the walls.

Looking at the woman he actually got the urge to explain that he had a load of gold saved up and he had nothing else to do with it but instead he replied, "To be honest I had no idea this area looked like this... it's quite extravagant..." Then as she opened the entrance to the insides of tavern his eyes got even wider, it was more elaborate than the outside was. He walked in and saw a bustle of what was obviously noble couples in the foyer. There was a separate area for the diner and another area for the bar, it was amazing, they even had a souvenir store. The place had a grand circular staircase with gold railing to the other floors and it was a multi story building. Walking over to the desk clerk Aris gave him his name then he asked if he wanted one room or two. After talking to the man for a minute or so he found out that the rooms were apartment style rooms so they had quite a bit of space in them. Figuring that that would be enough space for the two of them he asked for only one room hoping that Kalika wouldn't be upset by this but it was going to be a spacious room. Then walking over to where she was standing he said, "Hey, I got our room so this is where we will be for the next few days."

Watching as the nobles passed her by she couldn't help, but smile. A few wandering eyes made their way to her, but it was only brief. She had never seen anything so lavish before. It was beautiful. Growing up on the mainland no one had ever been this rich or had she ever seen so much gold in all her life. The large fountain drew her attention, but before she knew it Ariston was back at her side. She nodded softly and smiled reaching for his hands. Lacing his fingers softly with his she smiled. "Thank you Ariston... so what would you like to do now?" Kalika asked gently as her eyes looked into his.

Still a bit in awe of all this Aris had no idea what to do so he decided to pass the decision to the woman, "Whatever you would like to do is fine by me." He had nothing, this place would actually take some getting used to. His contact had said that this was the best tavern in town and he understood why now, even he wasn't used to all of this it was a true thing of beauty.

As she looked around again she felt her stomach grumble softly. "Uhm, could we get something to eat somewhere... my tummy's talking to me." She said quietly as a blush colored her cheeks. Once they had come inside she hadn't even noticed how hungry she had been. Smiling softly up at him her blue eyes shinning.

Aris smiled then nodded, "Alright sounds good. Would you like to eat here or did you want to go to a resturaunt?" he asked. It was a good idea since he was stating to realize that he too was a little hungry. He felt like it would be a good idea to go to a seafood resturaunt since they were celebrating Poseiden and his blessings along with the town's establishment. It was a port after all...

Kalika loved seafood. Grinning at Ariston she took him by the hand and giggled. "Well on the walk over I saw a nice restaurant that looked as though they would have very good seafood." She answered softly as she tugged a little on his hand trying to get him to follow her. The blonde felt as though she was always following him, so she decided to turn it around and have him follow her for once... though she wasn't sure how good they would be, and he would probably know better... he could always say so when they got there.

Aris nodded then replied, "Sounds good to me." As they clasped hands and she tugged on him Aris followed obediently allowing her to go where she pleased. He had no problems allowing her to lead, it was a good change of pace from him dragging her everywhere already as it went so it was good to get his hands off the reigns of the horse.

When she felt him begin to follow her a small smile formed on her face. At first she thought he would not oblige to following her, but was glad he did. Leading him out of the tavern and back up the street quite away she stopped outside of a restaurant with it's doors open wide. Looking to him she softly pointed to the establishment. "I thought this place seemed quite lovely. Is it alright with you?" She asked him softly as she looked at the building. It was quite lavish as well. The doors were propped open and inside one could see tables with fine silverware as well as paintings and sculptures adorning its walls and corners. Her long blonde hair blew softly in the wind as she looked up at him her blue eyes meeting his hazel ones.

Following patiently behind his mate (lol weird word) Aris was actually quite shocked at the number of couples around and they all seemed content, it was a welcoming sight. When Kalika pointed out the place to him and asked if it was alright with him Aris got a sudden urge to get smart with her for asking the question but he quickly supressed it, "Anything you choose is fine by me," he answered softly. Peering inside the establishment it seemed to be like most of the other places in this town... extravagant. Looking down at Kal to meet her gaze he asked, "So are we going to go in or just sit out here and admire it?" he asked in a teasingly.

Playfully she slipped her hand from his and pouted at him. "Well I can just find someone else to come have lunch with me." She teased him softly. Kalika started to walk away from him then grabbed his hand bringing him along with her. Going up to the hostess she asked for a table for two. Following the woman keeping Aris in toe she giggled as the woman took them back to the outside of the restaurant to sit beside a pond filled with colorful fish. Once again she let go of his hand and took a seat at the table. Ocean blue eyes looked to him as she waited for him to sit as well.

Aris watched with a distraught look on his face knowing she was joking and smiled happily when she dragged him along. He followed along until they were finally seated and Kal had taken her seat. He walked to the other side of the table and sat across from her and gave her an alluring smile just for kicks...

Kalika winked at him softly then lifted up her menu. She was surprised at the large selection they had. It was hard for her to decide being that she loved seafood. She peeked over the menu at Ariston then hid again looking threw the selection.

Aris smiled and winked back then looked at his menu. There was indeed quite a large selection of seafood here and there was probably not enough space in his stomach for everything that he wanted to eat or so he thought. This place had everything from crab to scallops. His mouth began to salivate as he contemplated what he wanted, it was like a seafood heaven...

Kalika giggled as he winked back and returned to her menu. She didn't know what on earth to get. There was such a selection. Of course she would get some sort of crab since it was her favorite... perhaps just some king crab legs and a salad? Or perhaps shrimp... clams? It was all so hard. A cheery waitress popped up beside them. "Hello, what can I get you two to drink today?" He asked with a brilliantly wide smile, that honestly scared Kalika a little. Smiling back she nodded. "I would like an iced tea if you please." She answered softly turning and looking to Ariston. |
Looking up as the waiter asked for their drink orders Aris allowed Kal to order first then he followed, "I would like a tropical smoothie." The waiter nodded then smiled and said, "Alright I will be right back with your drinks in a moment," and dashed off just as fast as he had come. Aris looked at Kalika with a soft smile then back at his menu wondering what to get...

The blonde giggled as he ordered the smoothie and pushed her hair behind her ear. "Well how exotic are you?" She asked him with a soft giggle. Turning her attention back to the menu she decided on what she wanted. Kalika watched Aris over her menu watching him read. He was so hansom to her even if he was just reading.
After several minutes the waitress returned with the pretty pinky orange smoothie and an ice tea with slices of peach and mango in it. Grinning she smiled at the woman. "Dear, are you ready to order, I am if you are." She asked him softly as her blue eyes looked to him. |
He smiled after she asked the question and that was to be his answer, she would find out exactly how exotic he was soon enough...
When the waitress returned with their drinks he nodded to Kalika and said, "After you..." |
Kalika nodded and turned to the woman. "I will have the shirmp and lobster skewers with the honey glaze served on the rice, and if I could add a small side of crab legs that would be lovely miss." She smiled softly at the woman then smiled at Ariston. The blonde hoped she didn't sound like too much of a pig she just had a hard time resiting crab, but the skewers sounded divine.

Aris nodded at her choice it was indeed a good one, then when the waitress turned to him he gave her his order, "I would like the seafood alfredo with crab meat, shrimp and scallops ma'am. Oh and can we get some biscuits please," he said happily. Then the two handed over their menu's over to the woman and she nodded and set off to put their orders in with the chefs.

The blonde smiled when he nodded at her choice. She listened to his order and it sounded delicious. Kalika didn't really like alfredo she preferred pesto and tomato vodka, but it still sounded mouth watering. Looking up at him she took a sip of her iced tea. She was blown away by how thirst quenching it was when she took a sip. The berries made the otherwise bitter tea sweet and it tasted magical. "Wow. That's good." She laughed softly looking at the drink.
