He smiled a bit as she arched her back and then he chuckled slightly as she toyed with his ear. His breathing rate had increased dramatically as they share their intimate moment. He was panting slightly, which confused him since he knew he was in amazing physical shape but for some reason every time they showed their passion for one another he was tired out at a fast rate. Not that he cared or anything but it did happen to cross his mind as they kissed.

Kalika heard him laugh and smiled. "What is it?" She asked him softly as she breathed heavily. Her voice was wispy as she talked to him. Gently she nibbled on his cartilage. Her heart thrummed in her chest as her body begged for more. Softly she tried to calm herself down as she pressed her nose against his neck laying soft kisses on his skin. She could feel a bit of sweat forming on her body from the heat in the room.

In response to her question the young man replied, "Nothing." He loved the sound of her beautiful voice and should compliment her on it at some point in time but now was not that time. He suddenly wondered if she could sing? He would have to ask her when he got the opportunity. His body shivered this time as she played with his cartilage even though it was clearly getting much warmer in the room as their bodies rubbed against each others. He could feel a light sweat coming on and that was his cue to take control. Grabbing and lifting Kalika by the waist Aris laid her on her back so that he could be on top for a while. Pressing his lips to hers he gave her a few soft kisses before he moved down to her neck and teased her as he had done earlier. Then after spending a few long minutes on her neck he slowly kissed his way up to her left ear. And just as she had nibbled on his, he did the same to hers and then moved to the other side keeping things as balanced as possible.

The rough sound of his voice in her ears made her body tremble. It was so masculine it was hard not to listen to him. As though he could tell her to do anything he would listen. She felt him shiver and couldn't help but chuckle as a bold smirk graced her face. Kalika gasped when he moved her onto her back. She enjoyed his soft kisses on her lips then bit her lip as he moved to her neck. Her fingers clutched as the fabric on the couch as he kissed her. The blonde's eyes closed as her other hand tangled into his hair. "Ariston." She murmured softly.

He was having fun now and he was extremely excited so he kept himself from pressing his lower half against hers so that she wouldn't notice although he knew she was no dummy. He continued to kiss her in various spots for the next few minutes before stopping after giving her one last lip to lip embrace. He made sure that he used his tongue and all as well wanting to take the breath right from her body. As he sat up he had a satisfied smile on his face as his body glistened with sweat. Hearing her call his name had almost made him take this to a whole other level but he somehow contained himself.

Kalika knew he was overly excited... being no dummy. As his lips traveled her body her nails dug into the fabric of the couch and she tugged his hair. Her toes curled as their tongue tangled together. When their lips separated she looked at him a soft sweat covering her body. Her eyes were glazed as she looked at him. Kalika was still breathing heavily as he sat up smiling at her. She just smiled and shook her head at him. "Have... fun?" She asked him softly as she bit her lip.

Still maintaining that satisfied smile Aris replied, "Of course." He had done what he wanted to do and enjoyed it thoroughly in the process and that was all that mattered to him. He looked at the woman, lust still filling his eyes, and then said, "What do you think?" It was a broad question but he wondered how she would answer him.

Slowly she pushed herself up off her back and sat next to him. She rested her head on his shoulder as she continued to regain her breath. Kalika heard his question and shrugged. "I think I'm in for an interesting boat ride... or at least an interesting day at the beach." She softly whispered in his ear. She kissed his neck then rested her head on his shoulder again. The blonde suddenly felt so worn... her body wanted more from Aris, but her mind felt exhausted.

Aris smiled at her response the lifted her up and placed her on the right side of his bed. He joined her on the left side and laid down, he had to admit he was tired. When he woke up he would take a bath then he would have to go and talk to the captain.
(Now we should time skip to the day of the fight with the Kracken then we will again time skip to the beach... how does that sound?" |

This morning had been quite as all the rest had. They had been at sea for about four days now and were only a few days out of the Same harbor. Honestly Ariston had expected to run into the Kraken by now and it was making him just a tad bit antsy since he had wanted to kill it early and just enjoy the rest of the ride with Kalika. The last few days had been fun although he had to discuss some business every now and then he had spent most of his time with her either in his room or hers. Everyday they had come to the upper deck to watch the beautiful sunset at sea, it was a marvelous sight. Everything was calm this morning as usual but Aris had a ominous feeling about today. He stood on the deck at the helm of the ship looking out at the sea thinking that his feeling may be a sign from the Gods. Being that he had woken up fairly early he had left Kal in the bed and decided not to wake her, she was beautiful when she slept and she looked to peaceful he couldn't wake her if he wanted right now.

Kalika laid asleep in Aris's bed. As she felt the warm sun on her body her eyes fluttered open softly. She stretched and looked to see her darling was not in bed with her. Sitting up she looked around to see he was not even in the room with her. Slipping from the bed she decided she would bathe. Heading into the bathroom she drew herself a bath from the water pitcher. Sighing she sat down and dumped water over her head. Softly she washed herself wondering where Ariston had gone.

As the hazel eyed man looked out among the sea he saw an unusually large wave flow past the boat at an alarming rate. Since it was so early there weren't many people around and nobody was in his area so he was sure he was the only person to sea it, or did he? Aris wasn't sure what that was but he felt that it might be what was bugging his thoughts as of the moment and given the size he thought it might be the Kraken. Acting on instinct alone the son of Ares raced down to his room and saw that Kalika wasn't in there so he grabbed his twin bladed spear to ready himself for combat if need be. Hopefully Kalika would show up before things got rough or otherwise he would have to handle things on his own... Racing back upstairs he made his way back to the spot where he first noticed the wave and peered out in all directions from there, then suddenly the ship hit by something large and it began to rock ferociously. Aris kept his footing just barely but then suddenly he noticed the large wave he had seen before, then out of the wave came the head of a serpent like beast that was told to the kids as a scary story... the Kraken...

Kalika had just stepped from her bath when she heard someone rush into the room. Once they were gone she ran from the room and threw on her clothes. She had known the person who was just in the room was Aris. Without taking the time to dry her body she slipped on her clothes then hurried to her room to grab to her bow and short sword. Hurrying out on to the deck she slipped when the ship his something grasping for the nearest thing grabbed the door and held on to pull herself back up. Going to Ariston's side she readied her bow and looked over to him wondering if she should strike yet. "Sorry I'm late." She apologized sincerely feeling bad for almost leaving him to fight this beast alone.

Aris ignored her apology since now was not the time to be worrying about such trivial things. He looked at the beast as it continued to rise it's head and giraffe type neck. It's fangs were bared towards the two demi-gods and it's eyes had a furious gleam in them. Then suddenly it let out a bone chilling howl that probably scared all the other passengers on board the ship. Aris not wanting to waste any time ran towards the beast and launched himself at it. The Kraken snapped at him but got its mouth pierced by his spear and howled out in pain trying desperately to shake him off...

The howl caused Kalika to cringed. When she saw Ariston launch his attack she sent a volley of arrows flying towards the beast. Standing at the bow of the ship she readied several more arrows. She kept her eye on Aris to make sure he did not lose his life. Shuddering she sent several more arrows at the beat striking him the throat.

Aris struggled to hold on as the beast shook himself wildly. When his spear finally popped free he was sent plunging into the water and soon after the Kraken followed. Slightly dazed by the impact of his splash he had lost his spear as it floated slowly to the bottom of the sea. Knowing that there was no way to replace it he immediately went after it catching the double bladed spear after a few powerful strokes. Then without noticing its presence he was stuck with a force that would have rendered a normal man unconscious. The blow hit him in the head and dazed him once more. After hitting the man in the head the Kraken dove deep into the depths of the sea and got directly under its prey before it made its move. Taking note that he needed to get air soon or drown Aris swam upward with the Kraken trailing him from directly beneath. As he reached the surface and took a breath he found himself airborne and falling directly towards the mouth of the beast...

When the Kracken dove beneath the water Kalika was jarred from the ship tumbling into the water. Quickly she fixed her bow to her shoulder and shook her head regaining her concentration. When she saw the Kracken swimming back towards Ariston to devour him. Quickly swimming towards the Kracken she drew her short sword and dug the blade deep into the monsters throat. Distracting the beast she pulled with all her might to free the blade from the beasts neck. As she got it free he swung around his tail knocking Kalika from his side. Her attempt had succeed and she was able to distract the beast from Ariston. Swimming towards the surface she headed for a rocky fissure protruding from the water wanting to get the beast away from Aris.

As he was falling Aris noticed Kalika attack the beast and draw its attention away from him. As the Kraken went after her he again hit the water with a bone shattering force and was dazed again but shook himself out of it quickly knowing he needed to help Kalika. Latching his spear to his back once more he began to swim after the two as fast as he could...

The blonde scrambled the rocks to feel a tooth cut her leg. She closed her eyes as she pulled herself up and stepped back from the edge. The Kracken snapped his jaws at her trying to get at her as she hid in the rock. Kalika pulled her bow from her back and readied a few arrows that would be difficult to shoot due to them being wet. Setting herself up she fired several of them the one luckily striking the beast in the eye. She hoped Aris was alright as she felt the blood drip down her leg. Quickly she fired a few more arrows at him.

Aris noticed another color flow through the water as he got closer to the two and he assumed that one of them was bleeding a bit and he wasn't sure which one. As he got closer he noticed that the Kraken had Kalika pinned in some rocks so he made himself dive underneath the beast and as he came up he drove his spear through the heart of the beast. The Kraken howled out in anguish as its heart was pierced and immediately sunk under the water and tried snapping at Aris but with only one eye its depth perception was thrown off and it missed. Striking the beast in the other eye to render it completely blind Ariston swam up to the rocks and joined Kalika for a moment panting. He was having a hard time catching his breath and his head was throbbing... instinctively he reached back and grabbed his head then he looked at his hand and noticed he was bleeding and smiled. This was great, they still had to swim back to the ship and he had a head injury and probably a slight concussion as well. Looking to Kalika everything was starting to get a tad blurry so he asked, "Can you make it back to the ship? We have to hurry..." as he finished he tilted forward a bit and hit his head against another rock but the impact wasn't too hard. It did hurt and it woke him up in a way as he looked around trying to find what direction the ship was in, but his vision was blurry at longer distances so he was having trouble making things out.

Kalika was relieved when she saw Ariston had defeated the beast. Looking at her the so thought gash on her leg was deeper than she had assumed. Squinting against the pain she gasped when she saw Ariston how he was. "Of course." She answered hastily. Kal wrapped her one arm around his waist as she pulled him into the water. She was able to keep himself and her above the water. When they reached the boat she helped Aris onto the boat with a hand from the crew. Pushing him up she was feeling a bit woosey from the blood loss. After getting the brunette on board the blonde followed close behind. Laying on the deck she inhaled and exhaled slowing trying to keep herself conscious.

Aris was fading in and out from the blood loss and concussion though he could tell he was being dragged through the water by Kalika. When they reached the ship he could hear what sounded like cheers from the passengers and a few people scrambling around. His eyes could only see darkness now and he figured he was going to pass out and in a few seconds he did. The ship's medical crew came and grabbed both of the demi-gods and took them to the third deck to the medical bay so that they could be treated properly. Some of the men and women worked on Ariston and some of them worked on Kalika. It didn't take long before they had finished cleaning up the wounds on Kalika and wrapping it to stop the bleeding. Head injuries were a bit tougher to treat so it took a while longer for them to finish hemming up Aris' head but when they were done they turned to Kalika and asked, "Where would you like him to be taken? He needs to get some sleep." |
Kalika watched as they worked on Ariston. Lucky for her, she was easily taken care of. She had easily kept conscious once they had stopped the bleeding on her leg. The blonde watched intently as they mended him assuming since they had fixed him up her would be alright soon enough. Her eyes turned to the doctor and she smiled gently at him. "Please, to his room. I will take you there. And thank you." She said softly sliding off the table. Standing she walked to the door waiting for whomever was coming to follow her.

Calling in a brawny man he picked up the body with surprising care and followed behind Kalika.
